The repeal of the nations longstanding anti tech and anti outsider ideals seems to have been the strongest propellant for this surge of success, with 50% of the market belonging to companies founded or run by those originally not from Songjiang.

The Songjiang housing market has also boomed with a focus on wealthy buyers inside and outside Songjiang with Songjiangs many Mason guilds building palaces fit for a prince with the intent to sell to those with the wealth and desire to own these palatial homes.

Songjiangs traditions seem to have given it a leg up in the world market its culture of obsession with perfection chief among those. Songjiang has gained a reputation for creating reliable products at a fairly low price even if those products can sometimes take a bit longer to complete. The people of Songjiang are noted for their strong sense of public service. It is rare to find one who puts his needs ahead of the group. Every citizen from age 15 to 30 serves the state in some capacity, as anything from a soldier to an administrator, from a construction engineer to a sanitation worker. Songjiang society is highly regimented and very organized, and the nation is known for its strict discipline and work ethic. Songjiangians are willing to do what needs to be done, and they nearly always follow through. They are not easily spurred to violence, but when conflict is inevitable, they only understand a concept of "total war." They do not believe in skirmishes or small-scale battles; they use numbers to defeat an adversary so completely that they remove any threat of having to fight the same opponent more than once. They do not exterminate their enemy, but so completely devastate their military that the enemy has no choice but to become a subject of Songjiang and its people.

The Songjiang government is the center of their society. It is not just a governing body; it is an all-encompassing public works organization. The military are also the civic police. Military fire brigades serve the civilian population as well as military facilities. The corps of engineers builds and maintains airports, schools, water purification plants, and power stations. The parliament ensures that all provinces get needed resources.

Since their culture is based on the structure of a military like hierarchy, changes and advances accepted by the leadership are quickly adopted by the rest of society with minimal resistance.

While Songjiangians are individuals with personal desires, their instinct is to equate the self with the group, and to set aside all personal desires for the good of all. Songjiangians are taught to have a strong sense of personal accountability, the 'Songjiang honor' that other nations find so remarkable. Songjiangians are taught to own every decision they make, good or ill. The worst sin they can make in the eyes of their people is to lie about their own actions. Songjiangians who murder will try to get away with it, but if directly questioned, most will confess the crime.

The people of Songjiang believe that groups and areas have "spirits" that transcend the individual. For example, a military unit would be considered to have a literal spirit that embodies the honor and courage it has displayed. A city's spirit reflects the accomplishments and industry of its residents. An ancient tree's spirit reflects the beauty and tranquility of the area it grows within.

These spirits are neither good nor evil, nor are they appealed to for intercession. Songjiangians in contrast to there ancestors do not believe spirits can affect the world, but spirits can inspire the living. Prayers and rituals allow an individual to converse with a spirit for guidance or inspiration. For example, a Songjiangian who finds his loyalty tested may appeal to the spirit of his unit, hoping to reconnect with the pride and honor of the group. A Songjiangian who wishes to create a work of art may attempt to connect with the spirit of a beautiful location.

Songjiangians enjoy absolute freedom of religion and can practice whatever appeals to them so long as it does not impede anyone's ability to perform their duties. There are many practitioners of the Taoist, and Zen Buddhism philosophy. Since opening dialog with other nations, some Songjaingians have embraced Judaism and Christianity, Islam has traditionally been present in Songjiang society for centuries but has never caught on beyond a minority of the population.

The Songjiang government, known as the Songjiang Parliament, is a elective meritocracy of the business and religious leaders of Songjiang. Throughout their lives, Songjiangians ascend to the higher tiers and are occasionally "demoted" to lower ones. The stigma associated with demotion lies not on the individual, but on those who promoted them when they weren't ready for additional responsibility. This curbs the tendency to promote individuals into positions beyond their capabilities. Settling into a role and rank is not considered stagnation. Songjiangians value knowing one's own limitations more than being ambitious.

Songjiangians enjoy broad freedoms. So long as one completes their duties, and does not prevent others from completing theirs, few things are forbidden. For example, there are no laws against non-harmful recreational drug use, but if someone is unable to complete their duties due to drug use, their superiors step in. Judicial proceedings are 'interventions.' Peers express their concern, and try to convince the offender to change. If rehabilitation fails, Songjiangians have no qualms about sentencing dangerous individuals to life at hard labor for the state.

The Songjiang Republics anthem is called "Die for the Cause."

Although they lack the technology of nations like the NGU, and Mcfreedomstan, and the adaptability of many other nations, the Songjiang military has formidable discipline. Officers and NCOs are "lifers" with years of field experience. Enlisted personnel are thoroughly trained and stay calm under fire. Songjiang units don't break. Even if their entire line collapses, they fall back in order, setting ambushes as they go. A popular saying holds: "You will only see a Songjiangians back once he's dead."

The Songjiang recruits auxiliary units from conquered or absorbed minor ethnicity, like the Russians. Auxiliaries are generally light infantry or armored cavalry units that screen and support the main battle formations. At the conclusion of their service in the Auxiliaries, recruits are granted Songjaing citizenship.

Songjiang wars are often marked by citizen resistance. Most Songjiang families keep small arms in their homes and take basic training courses that include instruction on how to operate them. To suppress citizen militias, the Songjiang Empire makes use of "execution squads" known as Sǐwáng duì. First, "safe camps" are established in cities to incentivize surrender. Next, Sǐwáng duì soldiers are deployed door-to-door; anyone who refuses to be transported to a safe camp or demonstrates hostile intent will be shot. The UCK government is now pushing the green quota. New loans are being created to allow the transition of companies from greenhouse giants to eco-friendly businesses. Many government-funded PSA's have been released discouraging minor crime such as stealing and illegal distribution of drugs. Njorden Industries has downsized its operations, having us question, why? More small businesses have now sprouted up to fill in the space that it has left. The UCK national soccer team, known as the UCK Egrets, is happy with fourth place in the first Europa League, yet it they strive for more. They have been making rounds to UCK schools to teach about major league soccer. The mad max arena has stopped importing contestants for the time being. There has been word that it will be converted for special events only, yet those speculations have not yet been confirmed. An Islamic festival is being planned for early 2022 to celebrate its impact on the entirety of UCK. Crimea is starting to become a tourist destination. A few resorts have been constructed and the beautiful wonders of Crimea have UCK citizens always coming back for more. Lastly, the UCK 2022 elections are coming up. Originally, no party achieved an absolute majority, with the SLP taking home 33% of the vote, the the highest amount of any party. Dragon Energy opens 50th store



Baltimore mayor Jeanne Horowitz cuts the ribbon


​Dragon Energy Hui Restaurant Enterprises, LLC, the biggest Hui Chinese restaurant franchise in the Nationalist Gold Union, has opened its fiftieth location today in Baltimore after a grand ceremony attended by the city government.

Dragon Energy celebrated the opening of the fiftieth store location with a lofty ceremony, where Baltimore city mayor Jeanne Horowitz cut the ribbon to mark the opening of the new east coast location. Lines of customers wrapped around three entire blocks.

The corporation was created by Ma Yufan, a Hui migrant from McFreedomstan, in 2014. The first location was opened in San Francisco and expanded swiftly along the west coast, creating a fast casual Muslim Chinese cuisine boom in the region. Dragon Energy opened its first east coast location in Caspia last year.

Despite the wide acclaim, local Christian and Alornian community centers staged protests near the restaurant amid the events that have happened in Utah.

Work begins on Zanziikin branch of Black Sea Railway



Baku oil will be shipped to Europe by the BSR


Crews near Rostov on Don have broken ground, nearly a year after crews in the United Capitalist Kingdoms did so across the Black Sea, on the northernmost Zanziikin spur of the regional Black Sea Railway project.

Left-leaning elements in Tbilisi had pressured for months that the Queen and the government ought to authorize a controversial spending package to link Zanziik's rail system to those of the broader region. Queen Tamar's reluctance, ever a hallmark of the conservative royal family, was worn down and gave way when several prominent businessmen, namely Baku oilmen, threw their support behind the plan. Plans for the BSR in Zanziik will see new rail laid from Rostov on Don eastward across central Zanziik, in the foothills of the Caucasus mountains. On the shore of the Caspian, the rail will then steer southward to Baku. This will link it to the majority of Zanziik's extant rail system, which primarily connects central Zanziik to the east.

"UCK Goes On A Spending Spree"

The UCK government has announced it will be spending six billion dollars on various improvements.

The largest outcry has been to improve infrastructure in multiple places. (Mainly Crimea). There are roads un-checked, buildings half built, and structures ruined. The public has demanded that things be fixed. Erone Sark has not yet responded to these demands and people question his position in power.

Heath care is currently on the table. Ideas have been spreading for free national health care. Erone has responded to this demand though. He stated that he indeed wants to integrate a free healthcare, but he also stated that our economy is not yet prepared for that much spending. He hopes in to improve our economy before introducing this new healthcare plan. This has raised a small drop of hope for these activists.

The UCK navy was seen considerable growth in the past year and it has upset a number of people. Erone hasn't promised any halts in growth, but he has also not announced any near future growth.

Lastly, it is being incentivized for more workers to head to the construction of the black sea railway. Visas are being handed out to any potential immigrants who wish to work on the black sea railway. Construction has been going well, and no problems have yet been run into. We hope that it stays this way and soon UCK will be connected to other nations by rail in due time.

Admiral Stack signs new Prisalian constitutional papers



Admiral-Plenipotentiary Garfield Stack


​Garfield Stack, a Union Navy Admiral and the de-facto Head of Government of Prisalia, has put into place the new Prisalian Constitutional Papers of 2021 following his granting of a charter by King Manuel III of Prisalia.

Admiral Stack, who performed a coup in the Kingdom of Prisalia back in January with the assistance of his 3rd Fleet, set up a puppet regime in the country that is loyal to the Nationalist Gold Union. After receiving the title of Prime Minister of Prisalia from the King (who was under duress), Stack embarked on a campaign to rebuild and reorganize the Prisalian government, countryside, economy, and society.

The new constitutional laws reform how the Prisalian government works. The King of Prisalia, Manuel III, remains head of state and keeps all powers of the constitutional monarchy. Additionally, the Stack administration is reformed into a "Grand Council of National Order", which is comprised of Stack and his loyalist associates. Thirdly, the civilian government of Prisalia is restored as parliament is expected to hold a new election, and afterwards, form a typical civilian cabinet ministry government. However, the Grand Council is still the supreme authority over the civilian government, and has to approve every minister or law that is brought forward by the Prisalian parliament.

Stack no longer uses the title of "Prime Minister" and now goes by "Admiral-Plenipotentiary".

Several onlookers in the Nationalist Gold Union have praised Admiral Stack's efforts. Prime Minister John Paquin stated that "Admiral Stack inspires us all. He is the ideal Unioner; the peak archetype. Perhaps we need a shot of Staquismo back here at home."

Ralph Schultes, leader of the Popular Liberal Democratic Party, praised the ongoing efforts as well. "Prisalia needs some help," Schultes said, "and the Prisalian and European economies are on the right track because of what Admiral Stack has done over there."

NGU joins Asia-Pacific Alliance

​The Nationalist Gold Union has formally joined the Asia-Pacific Alliance today after the APA reviewed the country's extensive application to join. The move, which shocked many foreign policy analysts, is unprecedented in the history of the NGU.

Seward Kendal von Grimmelshausen, the current Union Minister of Defense, went to McFreedomstan today to formally accept his country's induction into the alliance. Grimmelshausen, who speaks Mandarin Chinese and Indonesian fluently, was assigned APA Marshal by the NGU government, a title whose powers will continue to be imbued into the Union Ministry of Defense.

Prime Minister Paquin stated that the NGU's joining of the APA "helps further [his] grand vision for the world."

The National Assembly had a confidential vote over the measure, which was approved by the body with a solid majority. The Senate was opposed to the measure but was forced to sign on after threats of "further constitutional amendments."

The ceremony closed as the first Noxtremian shipment of steel left for Prussiaholm. The railroad is able to haul 30 million tonnes of freight daily. The Hannoverian Workers' Weekly Paper, September 18th, 2021 Government Announces New Trade Deal With The NGU Two months ago, an Industrieausschuss report sent the government into a minor panic. The report stated that Noxtrem would need to increase its oil production or imports by 21 million tonnes by the year 2025, if Noxtrem were to continue its industrial growth. The panic has come to an end, because of a new deal between the NGU and Noxtrem. The new deal, formally called the "Atlantic Petrol-Steel Agreement", provides that the NGU will increase its oil exports to Noxtrem by 85 million tonnes over the next 6 years, and in return Noxtrem will remove tariffs against weapons from the NGU and provide the NGU with discounted prices on Noxtremian steel. Leonard Roberts announces he has "weeks to live"



Roberts' last public appearance in June


​Leonard Roberts, who was head of the government of the Nationalist Gold Union from 1996 to 2001, has announced that he has "weeks to live" in a public press release this morning. Roberts is currently suffering from terminal brain cancer, of which he was diagnosed last year.

Roberts recently underwent a surgery which would remove the malignant tumor in his brain. However, the surgery only resulted in further damage to his brain, and his cancer has ended up much more aggressive than it was previously.

Leonard Roberts ascended to power in 1996 during a constitutional crisis. Throughout his tenure as head of government, Roberts invaded and annexed the Socialist Gold Union and the peninsula of Marquette (from Worris), cracked down on radical leftist groups, defeated the genocidal Kundistan regime, got involved in a nuclear material sale scandal with Taekhuman, lost the Suez Canal to Walgreens and the Vedrupol Pact, and lost the imperial restoration civil war.

Following his fall from power, Roberts was tried and convicted in the APSIA International Criminal Court for executing prisoners of war. He was later released in 2018 following a 17-year appeal case, where it was proven that Roberts had no intention to kill Walgreensian prisoners of war. After returning to the Nationalist Gold Union, Roberts became the leader of the New Union Party, the merger between the Conservative National Party (which he was previously leader of) and several other right-winged political parties. He fell from grace once again in 2020 after his party fell into a money laundering scandal.

Roberts is expected to hand off his position of General Secretary of the New Union Party within in the coming days.

The legacy of Leonard Roberts is mixed, with many praising his efforts of turning the Nationalist Gold Union into a global superpower within years of his chancellorship, while he is heavily criticized for the loss of face the country suffered after losing its Mediterranean possessions and an aircraft carrier to Walgreens.

The former Chancellor asked for "privacy and respect" for him and his family in the waning days of his life.

​INTRODUCING THE J-23 Hēi Guǎfù

The J-23 Hēi Guǎfù or Black Widow when translated to English has finally reached production prototyping which means we will likely begin seeing these planes in the next year or so though it has been reported to us that they were developed for the use of the navy and were specifically developed with the new light carriers in mind.

It has not been revealed if they will be made available for export, despite initial reports that they would be made available to the Miltonians but this deal seems to have fallen through with the recent issues regarding Miltonia and the APA.

Performance wise they are considered comparable to a F-22 though slightly less maneuverable but faster, longer ranged, and with a better stealth profile exact details are not available at this time.

the navy has pre-ordered 72 fighters and it is possible that Songjiang will make the fighters available to other nations for 60-80 million a plane.

For now it is an exciting time for Songjiangian Aviation even if most of the design team is actually originally from Panjal.

The Hannoverian Workers' Weekly Paper, November 6th, 2021 Noxtrem Calls For Restructuring The ECP In a press release today, Foreign Minister Gertrude Marten called for the "radical restructuring" of the Euxine-Capsian Pact. Noxtrem has been engaged in exasperating trade talks with the ECP for the past few weeks, and it appears the government has grown tired of talking. In her press release, Marten called the ECP, "...Totally inadequate in its codes and regulations." According to Marten, the ECP has ignored repeated internal calls for reform from both Noxtrem and Prussiaholm. Some of Minister Marten's more technical complains were that The ECP is lacking in the basic policies and regulations of any successful economic pact. The ECP has not standardized or regulated what tariffs may be put on goods traded between member states, nor have worked cohesively to facilitate safe trade. The Bremen-Hamburg railway, a fine piece of socialist engineering, was in part built to facilitate trade with Noxtrem and other ECP nations. Although Noxtrem is exporting exponentially more now, the total lack of organization and the refusal to address the issues at hand have left Noxtrem tremendously disappointed. In previous comments about trade, Marten emphasized the importance of international cooperation, but now she states that Noxtrem (and the world) cannot waste precious time during this hour of economic strife.

"Minor" railway construction workers' strike "no cause for concern" according to Tbilisi



Strikes in the province of Azov will not set back
completion of the BSR, say government officials


A strike among railway construction workers in the Azov province of Zanziik is "minor, and no cause for concern" according to a spokeswoman for the government speaking to reporters in Tbilisi this morning. The strike, now entering its third day, threatens to set back timelines for completion of the Zanziikin branch of the Black Seas Railway.

Early construction on the BSR has primarily been focused on the section of rail running southward out of Rostov-on-Don toward the province of Kuban. From there the rail is planned to connect to the city of Stavropol.

Fadey Dudyk, a spokesman for the striking construction workers, stated that dismal conditions for workers, low pay, and disparities for ethnic minorities must be resolved before construction crews would recommence work. The province of Azov is home to a significant ethnic Nomiconian demographic which has largely felt it has been neglected by Tbilisi since the province was acquired by Zanziik from Nomiconia. Dudyk claimed that ethnic Nomiconians worked for only a percentage of what ethnic Georgians or Azeris doing similar work earned on the Black Sea Railways project, a claim that has been denied by the Tbilisi-based Black Seas Railways Corporation, the private entity tasked with the completion of the vital infrastructure project.

"We take our commitment to fair employment practices very seriously, and comply with all Zanziikin laws and regulations in its hiring policies, particularly given that we are the recipients of federal funding," a spokesman for the BSRC said when asked for comment on the claims.

Government mediators have been dispatched to negotiate between the two parties, but little progress has been evident. Should the strike continue, it remains unclear what recourse the government and the BRSC will take.

Worrisian Occupation of Texas explained

If you haven't seen the news yet, The Worrisian Army has started occupied the Northeast area of Texas earlier today. Here it is explained.



Around 40-50 divisions worth of Worrisian troops all around the Miltonian border just began occupying the Texas cities of Houston, Fort Worth, Waco, and Dallas, and all military bases will be surrounded and occupied, hopefully peacefully. Roads will be patrolled, and all Miltonian planes will be shot down. Worris is also using the Brazos River as a defensive line.

The red area represents the planned occupied area.

President Lacey Black has said that Texas will be more and more occupied the longer it takes The Miltonia to release Gold Coast and Miltonian Africa, which Black has already denounced Miltonia for. She said "We will stay even more in Texas the longer Miltonia occupies African land."

The Hannoverian Workers' Weekly Paper, December 10th 2021 Government Establishes "Religiöse Angelegenheiten Amt" This week, a contentious bill passed through the people's congress and onto the desk of First-Premier Strasser. The bill, signed into law as of yesterday, establishes a government ministry for studying religious affairs in Noxtrem, and removes revolution-era bans on religious practice. Noxtrem's vast protestant community was overjoyed at the bill's passage, and many are excited to go back to church this week. The new ministry -called the "Religiöse Angelegenheiten Amt"- will be headed by Willfred-Strohm, who headed the Union of Noxtremian Churches before the Noxtro-Vanavoian war. Willfred Strohm Herr Strohm said his first act within the new office will be to return the majority of Noxtrem's churches back to their congregations. He also expressed relief at the passage of the bill, saying that Noxterm is writing a new era in its history. Noxtremian socialism is radical and new in many ways, but its success is partially responsible due to Noxtrem's people, Noxtrem's culture, and Noxtrem's history. During the signing ceremony, First-Premier Strasser expressed a similar sentiment: Our brand of socialism is dynamic and beautiful, but that beauty hinges on our people. Part of what makes our people what they are, is our religion, culture, and history. I want to give back to that, and give it the necessary acknowledgement.

The Hannoverian Workers' Weekly Paper, December 11th 2021 SPECIAL EDITION: Strasser Calls For Vinod Kapadia To Step Down First-Premier Strasser held an emergency press conference two hours ago to strike out on a new foreign policy goal direction. Mr. Strasser is calling for Premier Kapadia in Panjal to step down from his office, which Strasser is calling a "reactionary enemy to the people's will in Panjal." First-Premier Strasser stated that he will go as far as sanctions to achieve this end: The actions taken by Kapadia in Panjal are repulsive. Kapadia has shown himself to be an enemy of his own people. The NGU was ahead of the game when they swatted down Kapadia's earlier power-grab, but they haven't gone far enough. Noxtrem is calling upon its allies to support a change of government in Panjal. This policy choice comes on the heels of a meeting between the VSA and Panjali public officials. Strasser says that if a change doesn't come soon, he will act to cut off Panjal from Noxtremian trade until Kapadia steps down.

Response to International Threats

On Saturday, First-Premier Strasser of Noxtrem asked the international community to call for my resignation, citing "repulsive actions," and demanding a change of government within Panjal. Mr. Strasser went as far to claim I was a "reactionary enemy to the people's will in Panjal."

Strasser backed his words with a threat of sanctions against Panjal if I refused to step down, a needless and cruel punishment to only the poorest, most in need Panjalis, who already struggle in these trying in times. The desire to see a change of government within Panjal by First-Premier Strasser is clearly a thinly veiled attempt at forcing a more pro-Noxtrem government into power within Panjal. This move, at it's heart, is an attack on the core democratic values of Panjal. This action taken by Strasser is, as he put it, "repulsive." I, as well as my administration and fellow party members, have made the conscious decision not to concede to Strasser's threats.
