What a terrible title, disappointing, sad..

On NK, I'm really struggling with the idea that Kim Jong Un, who has only traveled to Beijing in a massive armoured train during his reign, is going to hop on a plane down to Singapore. Regardless of anything else in terms of negotiations - the fact that he's set on keeping nuclear arms and the US's sole condition is he gets rid of them all - that factor leads me to believe it just won't happen.

"Sumer Is Icumen In" is a round song from the 13th century. It's the first entry in The Oxford Book of English Poetry. "Svmer is icumen in / Lhude sing cuccu" translates as "Summer has arrived / Loudly sing, Cuckoo!" So with my alteration we have "Summer has arrived, loudly sing, Mike Cohen!"

There were plenty of options short of cancelling the show immediately, if they just didn't want to work with Roseanne Barr anymore. They could've killed her character off and continued it without her, or wrapped that season up. They could've brought in someone else named Roseanne. They could've renamed the show or gradually changed it to something else. Shame that because of one person misbehaving in their free time, 400+ other people or so, are out of work.

People wanting to hire her, should've known that Roseanne Barr has had an unstable personality ever since surviving a car wreck (allegedly).

Pretty much this. Honestly I think maybe a reboot of the series was a bad idea. It was fun and enjoyable, but not as good or memorable as the original. And none of this would have happened if people would not spew random shit on Twitter like everyone has been doing for years now, left or right wing BS.

The one problem was replacing her or killing her character would kill some of the appeal of the show, especially one created and starring Roseanne. I think it should have focused more on Sara Gilbert's character raising her son and daughter with the help of her brother and sister, making it focus more on Darlene instead, or maybe that should have been the idea of a spin-off with Roseanne and Dan killed off. (And it wouldn't have had the Season 9 finale be retconned after all)

And that also means no more reruns on syndication either, which annoys me the most, since that's normally where I watch episodes of the original series 1-9 run on TV Land.

There's no sense in waiting for advertisers to complain to you that they're brands are being associated with a racist who spewed nonsense on Twitter if you know they're gonna be at your door anyway. Ratings would also sureky decline after this point, these aren't radical predictions and ending the show was by far the safest bet. Killing off Roseanne's character in her namesake show is literally not possible, considering that she's the lead writer as well as the main star, so cutting off ties with her completely changes the fundamental aspects of the show.

This was the only way ABC/The Mouse could've handled this without immediately alienating advertisers for their primetime slots. It makes perfect sense and people are only salty because the show agreed and validated their worldview.
