Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a short statement about it's condemnation of a recently launched so-called international police federation. The full statement is as follows:
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the New Mushroom Kingdom would like to condemn the 'International Criminal Police Federation' which is in reality nothing more than a vehicle for the interests of the government of it's founding member, the Azadistan land of the free. While the ministry has internally felt displeasure at previous actions and events within that nation, this organization's formation has lead us to condemn it and additionally state that His Imperial Majesty's government does not recognise any extant supranational court or judicial systems, in particularly ones that are evidently not in anyone's interest except the leadership. That said, if we did recognise this organization, we do not know of any reason that either the government or any Mushroomian corporation would have committed any crimes but we would be interested in confirmation as that. To end this statement, this is the current policy of the government on this matter:"

1. Being entirely a tool used to enforce the desires of the founding nation, His Imperial Majesty's Government does not recognise this body as having any powers or authority whatsoever. Cooperation is forbidden, and should there be any actions taken by this body in regards to the New Mushroom Kingdom or citizens and corporations associated with it, they will be seen as illegal and responded to accordingly.
2. Citing this and previous incidents, His Imperial Majesty's government is warning that the nation known as 'Azadistan-land of the free' may not be a recommended, safe place to visit, reside, or conduct business with or in. The New Mushroom Kingdom recommends that citizens and visitors leave the country when suitable, and that corporations may wish to reconsider their activity in the state.

In other news, although it's presence and dealings with the country and it's populace were very limited, NMK Arms International published a notice that it will be no longer doing business with the country, or any citizen or associate of this body, citing concerns about an unfriendly operating environment. Any existing orders or contracts will be fulfilled, but nothing further. The small amount of personnel and inventory will be returning back to their homeland and reassigned to other positions and uses.

The Commonwealth has noted the creation of an International Criminal Police Federation by a fellow member of the Council of Islamic Co-operation, an interfaith group designed to promote international understanding, harmony, and peace.

The Commonwealth requested counsel on behalf of the International Criminal Police Federation regarding the infringement of international law alleged by the Commonwealth of Freilibre.

Arms Trafficking

Trafficking is the movement of arms and armaments which constitute contraband, that is, anything smuggled, that is, anything whose uncontrolled movement is illegal. It is therefore by definition illegal on a national basis.

Arms Trafficking in general furthers the devastation of wars in a manner contrary to the humanitarian interest, reduces the monopoly of power in states in a manner contrary to international stability, and transfers power from every person to every gun in a manner contrary to the democratic interest. It is therefore in general indefensible on an international basis.

There is therefore no reasonable legal basis for defending such Arms Trafficking (if it exists, or might reasonably to expected to exist) as though it is protected under international law.

Arrest without Trial

It is common convention for trial to occur after arrest rather than the other way round.

Special Forces

The use of Special Forces is extraordinary and based on an understanding of international law which is clearly contrary to the correct understanding specified above.

Conclusion

The Commonwealth of Freilibre is acting as though it is supporting companies which commonly traffick arms.

International Criminal Police Federation Reboot

In the CIC Parliament today the Ambassador for Azadistan agreed to an arrangement where the Azadistan Government, the Council of Islamic Co-operation, the International Cross, the Panessos Community Ministry of Peacekeeping, and the MNPF (if willing) would equitably take charge of the International Criminal Police Federation, to formalize it and widen their remit to peacekeeping, and to send the organization to take charge of defending Azadistan, its trade, its international policy, and the war to bring La Cosa Fedora, a nation which has attacked Red Crescent forces and tyrannized feminists and muslims alike, to the justice it deserves.

This group shall, for ease of administrative purposes, be referred to by us as the ICPF Council, and the other members of the group ICPF Councillers.

The International Commonwealth, acting on behalf of the International Cross and the Panessos Community, therefore proposes to the other ICPF Councillers the following:

1. The appointment of a person to be Azadistan Liaison-General of the ICPF. We recommend Azadistan appoint such a person.
2. The appointment of a nation to be Military Policing & Peacekeeping Commander-in-Chief of the ICPF. We would recommend nominations and applications from any parties open immediately.
3. The appointment of a nation to be Director-General of International Policing. We would nominate Amenria.
4. The appointment of a nation to be Director-General of International Policy & Financing. We offer ourselves for the role.
5. A rebrand of the International Criminal Police Federation, taking on ideas from Amenria's similar proposal; which will rescind and replace pre-existing statements by the Federation.

You do what you like with your canon, but let it be known that I'm doing what I like with mine, which is ignoring your ignorance. Nothing anybody ever RPs with Ausitoria is ever lost to Ausitoria's history unless Ausitoria decides so, and Ausitoria's time in the IFC was extremely instructive and educational, and I wouldn't want to change that experience for one second, no matter how painful moments of it were.

(As a general aside, this just goes to show the absurdity of the ignore canon: a party can't expect to keep their RPing with another nation accurate if they ignore other nations which definitely effect the nation they're trying to RP with. In this case I think it's probably got to the point where Shazbotdom won't be able to ignore it and still RP with Azadistan.

Really it would be more sensible if we could try to agree about what we want to keep in canon and what we don't. I suppose pigs might fly one day).

Announcement of ICPF International Policy in Azadistan

By the authority vested to the ICPF Council as per the ICPF Reboot Protocol and thence, by at least three votes in the Council, to the International Commonwealth Agency by the Council and Continued Panessian Confidence, the International Commonwealth Agency has taken charge as Director-General of the International Policy & Financing on a wide remit including non-domestic law and lawyers, diplomacy and diplomats, strategy and strategists, customs and tariffs, and the financing of the ICPF, as required to take charge and properly effect the defence of Azadistan, its trade, and to conduct the war against La Crosa Fedora (LCF).

For these purposes the International Commonwealth Agency, as Director-General, has appointed three Director-Consuls for three offices to apportion these responsibilities:

Admiral Earl Pontiff, Director-General of the International Cross Military HQ, as Director-Consul for the Azadistan War Office

Marquis Dr. Matthew Whittingrey, Ambassador to the CIC, as Director-Consul for the Azadistan Foreign Office

Marquess Dr. Adara Ange, a Deputy Director of Peacekeeping in the International Cross Finance Policy Division, as Director-Consul for the Azadistan Exchequer.

This administration shall be directed from ACS Peacebringer, a Peacemaker-class Hypercarrier with appropriate office facilities, currently part of the Aestorian Battle Fleet protecting the coast of Azadistan.

The International Commonwealth Agency has further approved supplementary salaries for Azadistan civil servants and employees now working under these agencies up to $100,000 per person per year.

To ensure the safety of the International Administration the Aestorian Commonwealth has landed an Expeditionary Corps in Azadistan comprising one Combined Arms Division and one Infantry Division; the latter is defending the Azadistan capital and air facilities.

The International Cross has flown in the International Cross Flying Medical Squadron to provide immediate health assistance. Further Peacekeeping forces have been dispatched.

As soon as it is practical the War Office intends to establish a ground-based Air Defence Flotilla, of some 700 or so aircraft, in the near future; in the interim the Battle Fleet has put up combat air patrols at a radius substantially in excess of 1000 km.

A further Battle Fleet has moved, with similar combat air patrols, to assist in the total blockade of LCF. The total naval forces committed both to the defence of Azadistan and to the blockade amount to c. 200 ships, including eleven carriers.

These force are on loan to the International Cross, who have further loaned them to the Azadistan War Office within the ICPF.

As a matter of formality, we have also, on behalf of the Aestorian Commonwealth, recognized hostilities with LCF.

We also confirm the rescindment of existent communications from the ICPF, which should no longer be regarded to be in force pending their replacement and the reboot.

We request international warrants for the arrest of Chris Fedorov(leader of La Cosa Fedora),Supreme Gentlesir for foreign affairs plus their admiral and general . This is for attempted murder of POWs,firing on red crescent vehicles and sending their submarines after our merchant ships.
We also request international search warrants for all ships of the Geir Freikorps for piracy and looting.
