The Midnight Sun Luxury Resort
Renowned all throughout the Cybusian Empire for its secrecy, luxury, the extreme difficulty of getting a reservation, and their custom-brewed and highly restorative elixirs, the Midnight Sun Bathing Resort has become the newest, latest, greatest hit in the Empire and beyond in stress-free, sophisticated leisure. Spanning an area of several dozen square miles near the Varykino springs on our capital planet of Arcadia, the Bathing Resort is truly the size of a small town, and has the same feel as well, with wide avenues between the great baths pool and small stone trails that weave between lush greenery fed by the same spring water used for the bathing.
Ringing the compound are the various hotels, shops, and other facilities for guests, all quite luxurious, but not so much as to detract from the spa. At the very center is an immense jet-black pyramid, with the bath buildings radiating out from it. The interior houses a vast hall, used for lectures, movie showings, or concerts. Atop the pyramid, there sits an orb. This orb is a sphere made of transparent solidified Hydruim, and is full of golden flames, and glows almost as bright as a star. This is the Midnight Sun, the namesake of the resort. Acquired by the CEO, Ajax Volcrus, on a trip to The Wrack, the Midnight Sun serves as a shining beacon, a lighthouse illuminating the path for those who seek luxury and a chance to get away from it all.
The Midnight Sun Experience:
Arriving on Arcadia at the Arcadian International Spaceport aboard a private shuttle sent to collect you from your home planet, a Midnight Sun representative will usher you to a luxurious Classics Hoverlimo, where we will whisk you through our beautiful capital city, and out to the countryside, to the mountain springs of Varykino. Upon arrival, you will check in and your baggage will be taken to your stateroom. Then, you are ushered to the great baths. The great baths themselves are reminiscent of old Roman designs, in that they are in light, bright, halls with many windows and high, arched ceilings. However, the rooms are also cool and streamlined, with art nouveau chandeliers and art deco murals along the unused walls. The water in these rectangular baths is warm, but only so much as to provide a comfortable temperature to use the spacious baths for anything from swimming to aerobics. Branching off from the huge great bath buildings (dressing rooms and a towel pressing room also make up the great bath building) are a series of skyways and underground passages that take you to various atriums, where one can sit among fragranced plants in special mist gardens. Afterwards, smooth pebble walkways allow you to walk to oiling rooms, where attendants use an assortment of moisturizers and scraping tools to rid the body of any dead skin and oils, all while the body is submerged in a body-sized saltwater bath, allowing them to float without tiring. Here your body is also salted and oiled with fragrances, and they are sent to the cold baths. These are smaller tubs that, as the name suggests, are filled with cool water. As you enter the water, sensors on the bottom heat up a portion of the tub temporarily, until the bather has become used to the water, eliminating sudden cold sensations. Eventually, however, the cold water will force you to keep a high heart rate and breathe deeply, focusing your senses for the hot baths.
The hot baths are much like hot tubs, but they are complimented by several other features- there are gas screens for viewing movies, and floor-to-ceiling windows to allow for a sense of spaciousness compared to the smaller and more secluded cold bath cells. The windows, however, are slightly tinted, to allow for a darker atmosphere. The main light source, therefore, is a set of glass lanterns along the arched roof, distributing the light just enough so one may either watch the movie, or simply relax (if the latter is chosen, the gas screen will lower into the ground and the windows will allow for more sunlight to enter). After finishing here, you move on to another garden (at this point the skin may have become stressed due to the near-constant water exposure), where massages are administered and ointments are applied to the skin to reduce any pruning. The bather usually goes on a private walk at this stage through acres of lush forest, complete with wildlife and cool breezes.
At the end of their walk, the bather reaches a Mercerist shrine, where they can pray for a few minutes or simply administer Ryan Industries gene tonics with the help of an attendant. Afterwards, they are brought to a Jacuzzi center outside, where butlers can also wait on them with small platters and fresh fruit from the garden. Automatic beverage fabricators are equipped with every Jacuzzi as well.
After this light snack, usually consisting of salty platters, the bather will have developed a larger appetite, and will be led to a large, art deco cafeteria, where they can choose from virtually unlimited options by way of fabricator, ala automat, or if they prefer, they may request a custom meal from one of our five-star chefs. Their meal complete, they will be satisfied enough to head to the great library, where they may rent any book or manuscript they like, and proceed to read it either in the library, or convert it to an audio file to be read aloud by an AI after a session at the nearby gymnasium. Each bather is given his or her own private chamber to exercise in, complete with adjustable light and temperature settings.
Upon the end of exercise, the fatigued bather will be soothed by a calming tonic and invited into the showering cell, a bright chamber the size of a large closet, with smooth stone floors and an AI to assist in the showering- the shower head is placed on a ball pivot system, and so will follow the bather wherever they decide to sit or stand in the showering cell. The AI is equipped with a broad system of shampoos and other concoctions, and the bather will leave the cell feeling fresh and alive, ready to explore the expansive gardens, with an assortment of hidden statues and shrines, all of them of Cybusian heroes and leaders. Other options include relaxing in a mud bath, taking in a movie, or a lecture in the pyramid, undergoing any of the many treatments and therapies offered, relaxing in a solarium, simply retiring to their bedrooms, or, of course, partaking in one of our restorative elixirs which regenerate dead cells, leaving you looking and feeling younger and stronger. Cellular regenerative therapies are available, using a compound called Regenex, which allows for full-body cellular regeneration which will literally add years onto your lifetime, and leave you young, beautiful, and strong to enjoy those years before aging. If your feeling a little adventurous, various kinds of stimulants ranging from alcohol to more exotic mixtures, are available, complete with a pain-free detox upon checkout. Or, of course, you could enagage in retail therapy at any of the shops around the resort.

Opportunities
We are always looking for more VIP guests to add to our exclusive list of customers, though we reserve the right to deny guests. We also are willing to accept suppliers and partnerships. Partnerships can take many forms, from allowing Midnight Cards (see below) to be used to purchase your products, to setting up shop on our grounds, should you provide a product or service you feel our clients need. A letter or communique for any of the below is encouraged, but, as we understand that some prefer to get straight to business, not required.
Prices vary, typically due to positive relations with the Empire (or lack thereof), but a two day and one night stay at the Midnight Sun, barring any Regenex treatments, is typically around 200 NSDs, due to the costs and exclusive treatments available. Regenex elixirs each cost 500 NSDs, while a full-body Regenex treatment costs 1,500 NSDs, due to the rarity and cost of acquiring Regenex. All other elixirs are free, included in the cost of the stay, but their effects are shorter and not as potent as Regenex.
