A lot of these have been popping up when I first open my NS shortcut and when I'm browsing my region's message board.

I don't think it's a virus, since it happens on two android phones of mine!

Thanks again for these reports. It seems like the ad provider hasn't completely disabled the ad network that we think is responsible for letting these scam ads through, because I can still see them on my stats. I've raised it with them again! Thanks for your patience.

The ad provider is individually blocking ads we send them, and the ad network is apparently taking steps to clean up their pool, but there's a technical obstacle that's been preventing us from blocking just that network -- they provide a piece of the code that we use to decide which ad to show, and it won't let us block them. To get around this requires some changes both on our end and our ad provider's, which we're getting done, but will take at least a few more days and maybe a week to complete.

In the meantime, please do keep reporting any scam or hijack ads, and thanks for your patience!

Which is a World of Warcraft gold/item/powerleveling 'service' site. The services these sites offer are A: Against Blizzard's terms-of-service, B: Often a vector for malware attacks against visitors in an attempt to steal their WoW/Blizzard account credentials, or C: Just direct scams where 'services' are purchased and not completed. Not that that matters, since Blizzard is really good at picking up on cheaters and they will often then find their account banned shortly after even if they get their 'purchase'.

So scammy, scummy, and potentially malicious.

When I play NationStates, I sometimes get suddenly redirected to https://d3g0pzurtpch3m.cloudfront.net/Gift-Card, which is a scam site. Where do I report this?

Edit: I have another question as well. Does the no posting after one week of inactivity rule apply to this thread? If so, I'll delete my post.

Whenever I'm not on my main, Lenlyvit, I get redirected by lots of adds popping up. Lenlyvit has Postmaster-General, so I have adds blocked there.

For the last few weeks and only on NationStates I have been constantly redirected to what is surely a scam site below making the game unplayable on mobile.

I have scanned by device with several antivirus apps and even launched a factory reset to root out what I thought was a persistent virus, yet the problem persists. I'm forced to now look to the site mods for help.

From looking at the recent posts, it seems that it's a site-wide dilemma with the ad network, and not a problem with my Samsung device.

For some reason I can hardly use this website anymore. Everytime I try and go to a new tab or part of this website, I get a pop up on my phone, and its one of those "congrats you are the blah blah blah winner!" ads that redirects your page and won't let you leave. They are. Really freaking annoying, and I don't want to get spam on my phone from this site. Does this happen to anyone else?
