The primary entrance to the mine has been opened. Most of the remaining droids are now heading towards BUILDING A to attack Kaiden Thelcar. Those heading into the mine will find unnaturally cut tunnels mixed in with natural pathways. The mine appears as a maze but all points converge further down towards the prize.

Jae is five foot four and 135 pounds with pale skin. He has gray eyes and brown hair.

Background: Jae was born on Arkanis to a line of nerf herders. On his father’s ranch, it was his job to keep the livestock safe. His uncle was a Jedi Guardian who survived through Order 66, but was killed in the early days of the Great Jedi Purge by Darth Vader. He was born two years after the defeat of the Emperor, so he never knew firsthand the atrocities of the Empire. One day, out in the field, Jae found a small broken down Pit Droid. He dragged it home and began to work on it, teaching himself through trial and error. Over the years, he began to bring the droid with him everywhere and decided to call it Pit, which sounded better to him than DUM. They became inseparable, sometimes getting into trouble.

Jae was discovered by a wandering Jedi Knight two years later. At the time, Jae stole an apple and was trying to avoid the merchant. The Jedi stopped Jae and the merchant tried to grab him. As this happened, Jae put his hands up as he shrunk back, oblivious to the power inside of him. The merchant flew back and grabbed a gun to shoot him. The Jedi interfered and returned the apple, along with a “fee” for the trouble Jae put the merchant through. The Jedi brought Jae home and talked to his parents, with Jae outside. He brought Jae to D’Quar, to train in the Jedi arts.

The picture is too big. Put it in a spoiler. As an apprentice he wouldn't know Form II as they just now arrived at the academy, thus no training has yet taken place (though I suppose he could learn later). If anything I'd limit how skillful he is since he's a beginner. Lastly, is he Force-sensitive or did the Jedi Knight just feel like bringing the kid to the academy? His family has produced Jedi in the past but it never mentions Jae as being anything but average. Doesn't have to be anything spectacular but a mention of why he was chosen would be nice.

The students have successfully evaded the droids guarding the mining outpost, but, in their haste, have been separated. More droids patrol the tunnels. The B1 Battle Droids will remain to cleared, easy to traverse pathways whereas the rugged Spider Droids wander the natural passages. An unlucky few have stumbled across Imperial Security Droids.
