Emil Volodya had returned for the morning, he walked up of the steps of Lubyanka, his jacket hanging on his shoulders. The two sentries presented arms and he saluted. He walked in where his aide de camp was waiting to take his coat off. He took his cap off and walked up the stairs, a young man of the Komsomol waited with a tray and small folded paper. He took it and entered his office, he sat down and opened it up. Admiral Aminev had sent a letter. That man was a time bomb. Extremely ambitious, and already turning the Red Fleet into his personal political arm. The power of the Politburo was far from absolute when people live Aminev reigned supreme in their own spheres. Everything was normal. Emil closed it and handed it to the waiting officer. He pointed to Boris Emil's name (the man caught for planning to assassinate Volodya) and said "Make sure to make that one feel it." He pointed to Damian (caught for planning to kill Aminev), "send him to Leningrad as a gift." The officer nodded and left. Emil sat and began to think. But the phone rang. He picked it up, expecting a call from Tashkent. But it was a young feminine voice.
"This is Milana Asya from the Young Pioneers, sorry to disturb you Director, but we're doing an interview for Pravda."
"No problem my child, go on." They asked several questions about his daily routine, which he kept to short Pravda soundbites. He was back to thinking. The phone rang, and he picked it up.
"This is Tashkent." Emil smiled.
"This is Lubyanka."
"The men have arrived on schedule. They arrived first as you ordered."
"Excellent, they have begun?"
"No in fact they've only just started to get off the train. In 12 hours they will be disseminated into the countryside.
"Satisfactory, update me on their activities." Emil put the phone down, time to reply to Aminev. He was not ready to take his hook line and sinker, but he could cooperate for the purpose of reeducating prisoners.
