I remember this one kid back in first grade who his parents didn’t allow him to say helicopter becuase it sounded like it had the word hell in there.

Reminds me of when my cousin's kid kept asking "Which? Which? Which?" and she just turned to him and said very harshly "We don't talk about witches in this family"

I, for one, actually like theocracy

This is a stupid position for a Christian to take. The unfaithful aren't going to heaven anyway, so enforcing religious ideas upon them that are contrary to earthly happiness won't benefit anyone.

My extended family is very religious. Aunt didn't let my mom give my cousin a dinosaur pencil case because dinosaurs are from Satan, or something like that.

They aren't rude about it to us (my immediate family) but it makes gatherings a bit awkward.
