Defence Minister found Murdered in Home!

"The past few days have been hard on our Nation, but we must move onward stronger then before and show the world a strong and resilient spirit that us Reutoans have show many times in the Past." Those were the words spoken by Chancellor Schetcher less then two hours ago on the steps of the Chancellory on the death of Minister of Defence, Sir Albrecht Daluege. Who was found by his 24 year old daughter lying In his office bleeding from multiple wounds, one Fatal. Police have released a official Report describing the Murder's entry point and what weapon's were used in the Assault. Questions were already arising as to why Minister Daluege did not have security assigned to him but those were quickly shot down with the Answer "Minister Daluege did not want his Family life limited."

The Government has said from what reports it has gotten from the Minister's neighbors that it appears an white van with the license answer "KAM4LIFE" was driven to the Minister's home at 9:35pm and five men entered. At 9:57pm the Five men leaved the Home and drove away. It was not until the Minister's Daughter entered the House at 11:13am and saw her Father lying dead on the Ground that Police were notified. Police ran through his Camera and saw the entire Scene where it appears that the infamous Kamurian Liberation Front. Who was behind the New Wilhelmland bombing, has committed the Murder.

The Deputy Defence Minister, Vincent Hochberg has said that he plans on not becoming Defence Minister officially as to respect his Colleague. Though he now he full control over the Military and plans on properly managing the Situation in a different way. He says he'll be briefing the Chancellor on his new Strategy that he says will make the difference between Reutoa and the Kamurian Liberated Front.

Elections in Full Swing now!

The 2018 Elections are finally beginning in the Kaiserreich of Reutoa. The main candidates are the incumbent Chancellor, Count Leopold Schechter and the Leader of the National Freedom Party, Dietrich Rottmanner. Both announced their Candidacies yesterday at different times of the day. The Leaders of the Republican, Socialists, Democratic Christian and Soviet parties have announced no intention of running. The Understanding is that the Soviet party is still under investigation for the attempted murder of the Crown Princess, and that the Socialist and Republican Parties are standing with them in solidarity. The Democratic Christian Party is currently split and cannot decide on campaign policy, so the Leadership has announced that they will be stepping back to rework their Party.

This is worrying to some Experts as Mr. Rottmanner, current Member of the Reichstag and former Minister of Defense is the only other politician in the nation with enough support to challenge the Chancellor. Mr. Rottmanner has been described as cold hearted and ruthless. There are also legal cases filled against him for corruption (as well as some believe he is responsible for the Murder of a news reporter). Mr. Rottmanner has denied any involvement in the Murder and claims he is against corruption and has said he is a more then ready to answer any questions anyone has for him. Chancellor Schechter has said this is a perfect reason for the people not to vote for the National Freedom Party, whom he calls "Fascists with another name."

Christian Mandelbaum, Leader of CP Arrested

Alarming News for our viewers today as we have just learned that the Leader of the Conservative Party, Christian Mandelbaum has been arrested on the charges of Treason. Police received a tip last night from a unknown caller where he stated Mr. Mandelbaum had been talking to Communist Leaders in exile. As soon as the Police figured out Mr. Mandelbaum location, they proceeded to Raid the Headquarters of the Conservative Party without a Warrant issued by the Supreme High Court and made their way into the Building, screams and gunshots were heard as Conservative members struggled to keep the Police out. After beating up Conservatives the Police found Mr. Mandelbaum on the Fifth Floor treating to a wounded Secretary, after seeing the Damage the Police had done to his Headquarters, the man peacefully surrendered and was escorted out of the Building to the Ministry of Defense. News has already spread out and Conservative members are protesting outside of the Building as Armed Guards arrest anyone who gets too close. We already have vocal Critics arguing this is another breach of the Democratic Process by the Chancellor by arresting the Leader of the second most Popular Party in Reutoa. A Spokeswomen for the Chancellor has denied any wrongdoing and stated that Chancellor Rottmanners main goal is to Protect Reutoans and this is a way of protecting them.
