Often, she has simply decided that listening to the birds or sounds of nature is more interesting. She has a strong aversion unnatural things, especially magic that tampers with death. Hylea is very mildly claustrophobic, feeling uncomfortable in enclosed spaces and buildings. She is protective of the young of any species, and of mothers, but is not a inherently combative deity. Though it might pain her, she rarely intercedes directly in their fate. However, creatures of the sky have a special place in Hylea's heart, and harming them is the surest way to earn her wrath. Though not a violent deity, Hylea is willing and capable of enacting it if she is pushed far enough, or if some one violates the laws of nature.
