We have high-rise no/low-rent apartments that are intended for use for anyone who would otherwise be homeless. That's how we deal with them, by giving them a place to live at little to no cost.

They're not the fanciest or highest quality apartments, mind, but they are a place for someone to sleep, cook, eat, and relax.

Suhurbia's treatment of the homeless differs in each division, due to different views and beliefs. In the North Division, East Division, and especially the Northeast Division, there are no homeless, as when a person becomes homeless, people often become concerned and help them in some way. In the East Division, the help comes in charity, in the North Division it comes in social welfare. The Northeast combines the relationship and cooperative natured Eastern culture and the empathetic, compassionate attitudes of Northern culture making for a very humanitarian culture.

On the other hand, in the South Division, West Division, and the Southwest Division, the homeless aren't so favored in their societies. So instead of getting support, what would most often happen is that the homeless gets stepped on. Unlike the other three, these divisions value independence and self sufficiency so highly dependent people may face a lot of challenges here.

The Northwest Division is more compassionate towards the homeless than their Western and especially Southwestern counterparts, due to their influence by the compassionate culture and ideology of the North Division. Though they are only helped to a degree, to "get back on their feet", as the Northwest still values self sufficiency. Though they aren't cold and apathetic unlike the Southwest, who strongly values strength and independence.

The Southeast Division, like the Northwest, is moderate with their attitudes towards the homeless, though in very different ways. Like the East Division, they are co operative, but they still value independence so there may be help seminars for the homeless.

The government is always trying to help people stay off the street. Homelessness is relatively rare as a result, but socially is seen as somewhat of a moral failing regardless of circumstances (seeing as how the government does so much for you and you still live under an overpass).

First off, the government provides services so few become homeless in the first place. If someone doesn't have a job, the Department of Labor will help them find a job that .arches their qualifications and interests. If someone cannot work due to injury, disability, illness, or age, they are given welfare (the amount is based on corcumstance, someone who chooses not to work will get minimal payment, but an elderly or disabled person will get enough to have a relatively-comfortable life, as long as they don't spend in excess). Things like healthcare, education, and basic job training are free.

If someone IS homeless, they receive the "King's Aid Package" (the same package refugees get). It includes meal and grocery vouchers, clothing vouchers, housing aid, petty cash (given per day or week, not all at once), and free sessions with a Department of Labor jobfinder OR, If unable to work, a Department of Welfare case worker to find a more sustainable form of welfare.
