1. What is the age limit for marriage? 18
2. Is divorce legal? After becoming a widow? If yes, in what way is it treated by citizens? Divorce is legal but it is extremely looked down upon. Unless there is a legitimate reason such as abuse or if the spouse dies (in which divorce is actually required by law upon confirmation of death).
3. Is homosexual marriage legal? If yes, how is it treated by citizens? Yes, homosexual marriage is treated the same as heterosexual marriage for the most part. More traditional people and families may treat homosexual marriage as illegitimate. Families have also disowned family members due to this however it is extremely uncommon in the modern day.
4. Is sex before marriage legal? Frowned upon? Yes and no it is not frowned upon.
5. What is your country's people's attitude towards marriage? In modern Toropikaru marriage is seen as unimportant which has lead to a massive drop in marriage rates. There was a slight resurgence in 2015 but it has declined once more as of November of 2017. Nowadays, about 36.5% of couples get married.
6. How do they propose? With what? Are women allowed to propose? Traditionally one must propose by presenting their significant other with a golden necklace which typically gets followed by them saying, "Ji'neu yai'jyou kaiji'tsu aigi'ne", which loosely translates to, " Will you marry me". Women are also allowed to propose.
7. Is parental approval needed? Traditionally yes but though some have skipped out on that step.
8. Who takes the last name? Traditionally the family names are fused together. For example if one had the family name Jikashi and the other had Shin'xi they would put them together to create Shinkashi or Ji'xi.
9. Are weddings private or large parties? Both? Traditionally weddings are a large party consisting of the bride, groom, family members( typically just mother, father, (if they have them) siblings, maybe aunts, uncles and cousins, and for sure grandparents), and close friends.
10. Are wedding expensive? An average wedding costs around 350,000 richi or about $35,000 so it could be considered expensive by some.
11. What do the spouses wear at their wedding day? The bride and groom traditionally wear the Kaiyoku
Image

12. Where are party weddings held (if you said yes)? Party wedding are held at halls called Kaimeiji
13. Where are private weddings held (if you said yes)?
14. What sort of music is usually played? Traditional Karunese music
15. How is the ("I Do") ceremony played out? Do they kiss? A man called a Kaiyo'jei tells the couple to wash their hands and mouths with water in order to purify them. He then commences a tradition called Ya'okaru'xi, in which the husband and wife are pressured into admitting to any lies they may have told in their relationship. After this they each hold a black and white stone and bow to eachother, the kaiyo'jei, their friends and family, and then to the goddess of love, Kai'yuko. They then hand the stones to the Kaiyo'jei before kissing.

1. What is the age limit for marriage? 16
2. Is divorce legal? Yes, but no-fault divorce does not exist and a couple cannot divorce by mutual consent, so while divorce is legal, there is no guarantee that a divorce will be granted, and proving a marital fault or preëxisting impediment is required.
After becoming a widow? That's not divorce.
If yes, in what way is it treated by citizens? It is generally frowned upon and discouraged unless absolutely necessary. Most people who get divorced do not talk about it.
3. Is homosexual marriage legal? If yes, how is it treated by citizens? No
4. Is sex before marriage legal? Frowned upon? Legal but strongly discouraged.
5. What is your country's people's attitude towards marriage? Very positive. Marriage is Coscivian culture's fundamental social institution, and good marriages are seen as immensely positive for individuals and for society as a whole.
6. How do they propose? With what? Proposals themselves don't involve much ritual. There are no engagement rings, and the Western custom of getting down on one knee is not observed. Women do not propose.
7. Is parental approval needed? Only if a party to the marriage is under 18.
8. Who takes the last name? The woman takes her husband's surname. Her maiden name becomes her first middle name, and the only middle name she uses in introductions. Men, on the other hand, use their first three middle names in formal introductions.
9. Are weddings private or large parties? Both? They can be either.
10. Are wedding expensive? They can be.
11. What do the spouses wear at their wedding day? The traditional dress of their ethnic group.
12. Where are party weddings held (if you said yes)? The actual wedding is held in a church. Guests go to a pub or one of the spouse's homes afterward to get trashed. Wealthier couples might rent a country house or a garden for the reception instead.
13. Where are private weddings held (if you said yes)? In church.
14. What sort of music is usually played? Traditional and liturgical music.
15. How is the ("I Do") ceremony played out? Do they kiss? Much the same as in the West, except that it is completely unheard of for the bride and groom to "write their own vows".
16. Are afterparties common? Free booze is the main reason people go to weddings.
17. If yes, what is done at afterparties? People get hammered.
18. What kind of lovers are YN's people? What does this even mean?
19. Is sexual activity strictly for making children or also for pleasure and bonding? The two are not viewed separately.
20. Is rape recognized in marriage as a crime? Yes
21. Are there limits to how many children they can have? No legal limits.
22. Is your leader married? Yes
23. What is a common pickup line? There are none.

4. Is sex before marriage legal? Frowned upon? Marriage has never been officially recognised in Blodrike, so all sex is out of wedlock. And it's not frowned upon at all because of our liberal society.
5. What is your country's people's attitude towards marriage? It is something that oppresses people (especially women) and prevents them from having free willing relationships.
18. What kind of lovers are YN's people? Depends on the individual. Some are more promiscuous and others are more reserved. But we never judge others for being more/less romantically active. Machismo and forceful/persistent advances (like in Latin cultures) are highly unacceptable here.
19. Is sexual activity strictly for making children or also for pleasure and bonding? Almost all of it is for pleasure, because vampires live much longer than humans, and don't need to have children often. We also have quite a high rate of homosexuality (about 1 in 3) including our Queen.
21. Are there limits to how many children they can have? No hard limit, but parents will lose the right to raise children if they can't care for them properly.
22. Is your leader married? nope

1. What is the age limit for marriage? 16
2. Is divorce legal? After becoming a widow? If yes, in what way is it treated by citizens? Divorce is legal, fully accepted and widely common. Becoming a widow has appeared pretty often during the 1960s War and is quite rare nowadays, as marriages are.
3. Is homosexual marriage legal? If yes, how is it treated by citizens? Yes, they are legal, and no one actually bothers
4. Is sex before marriage legal? Frowned upon? it's legal and very common
5. What is your country's people's attitude towards marriage? Nowadays, it's unusual, somewhat old-fashioned and in some parts even almost completely unheard of. But if there's a marriage somewhere, there's another excuse to throw a party, so it's fun
6. How do they propose? With what? Are women allowed to propose? "Wanna marry?" - "Sure why not." May come from both sides.
7. Is parental approval needed? no
8. Who takes the last name? the one who wants, if no one wants, no one.
9. Are weddings private or large parties? Both? both
10. Are wedding expensive? Depends on how much you want to spend on it, it can be very different.
11. What do the spouses wear at their wedding day? black tuxedo (him) and white wedding dress (her), totally classic. Though, it may vary. Occasionally you spot men wearning shirts and jeans and women wearing blouses and riding pants throughout the ceremony. In general, sticking to dress codes, if they even exist, is not exactly something our culture excels at.
12. Where are party weddings held (if you said yes)? usually in the next pub
13. Where are private weddings held (if you said yes)? at the home of the one who wants to host it.
14. What sort of music is usually played? individually different
15. How is the ("I Do") ceremony played out? Do they kiss? "I do." - "Me too." *kiss* So yes, quite classic. Okay, the traditional vodka you ex afterwards may seem unusual ....
16. Are afterparties common? Are they separated by gender or not? They are very common and usually not separated (how would that even make sense, men are always in a minority here)
17. If yes, what is done at afterparties? eating a lot of meat, drinking, smoking tobacco, smoking weed .... business as usual.
18. What kind of lovers are YN's people? usually quite passionate. Finding a fix partner is hard enough in here, keeping him/her all the more, so you should give your best.
19. Is sexual activity strictly for making children or also for pleasure and bonding? It's mostly for pleasure and bonding only. The birth rate has been very low during the last 30 years .... actually, Lyknic people love their pets more than children.
20. Is rape recognized in marriage as a crime? Yes. No consent = rape.
21. Are there limits to how many children they can have? Why on Earth should there be limits?
22. Is your leader married? No.
23. What is a common pickup line? "Oh, wouldn't have expected to find you in my bedroom ... but okay, if you're already here, let's see if this is going anywhere good."

1. What is the age limit for marriage?: 17.

2. Is divorce legal? After becoming a widow? If yes, in what way is it treated by citizens?: Divorce is legal if either party looses citizenship or is significantly shamed/demoted. Loss of status is a valid cause for seperation, and the most common. Citizens have a primarily neutral outlook in marriage status, but high ranking officials often frown upon divorce as it is often stained by career failure and shame.

3. Is homosexual marriage legal? If yes, how is it treated by citizens?: Gay marriage requires consent from local governors as they are viewed as "Non-productive", however in most cases it is dismissed. Only officials of government with a high status can enter a same-sex marriage at will, but it is still frowned upon.

4. Is sex before marriage legal? Frowned upon?: As a private affair it is entirely legal, but higher status citizens rarely approve of it.

5. What is your country's people's attitude towards marriage?: Practicality. It is viewed primarily as an economic agreement to pool resources. Love is always secondary, but not uncommon.

6. How do they propose? With what? Are women allowed to propose?: Higher ranking may only propose to lower or equal rank. A low ranking official may not propose to a superior under any circumstances. If both are of the same status, either party may propose. Gender rarely makes a difference.

7. Is parental approval needed?: No.

8. Who takes the last name?: The higher ranking generally "annexes" the lower ranking family, thus absorbing all non-senior members of it into theirs and the spouse assumes their surname.

9. Are weddings private or large parties?: Varies. More developed areas of the Imperium make marriage between important officials a ceremonial state-funded affair, whereas low ranking or less developed regions are mostly private self-organised and funded.

10. Are wedding expensive?: Not necessarily, private weddings depend entirely on the couple's demands.

11. What do the spouses wear at their wedding day?: Military ceremonial uniform with all decorations and medals. This goes for both genders, as full citizenship requires active military service and only full citizens may marry.

12. Where are party weddings held (if you said yes)?: Primarily at the center of work. For example: An admiral or naval captain would be married on the bridge of their ship. A government official within their office. High profile weddings however are typically held in the capital.

13. Where are private weddings held (if you said yes)?: Wherever the couple decides, though the higher ranking party typically has that authority.

14. What sort of music is usually played?: Military march. National anthem with high profile weddings.

15. How is the ("I Do") ceremony played out? Do they kiss?: Papers are signed, there is no vocal exchange and kissing is optional.

16. Are afterparties common? Are they separated by gender or not?: Depends entirely on the couple's wishes.

17. If yes, what is done at afterparties?: N/A.

18. What kind of lovers are YN's people?: Primarily for reproduction and economic partnerships. Compassion is often viewed as a fragile unpredictable human instinct. While love is perfectly legal and not uncommon, it is rarely the primary drive for partnerships.

19. Is sexual activity strictly for making children or also for pleasure and bonding?: Both, though the latter is a private affair and varies greatly.

20. Is rape recognized in marriage as a crime?: Any marriage that has not produced at least one legitimate child is considered wasteful. Though not enforced, it is not illegal for the higher ranking member of the marriage to force consumation for the purpose of reproduction, but only if they do not currently have any children.

21. Are there limits to how many children they can have?: As long as it is economically efficient there is no specific limit. However should the family's junior members impede the seniors' duties it is not uncommon for children to be forcibly removed from the family to lessen the strain on their finances.

22. Is your leader married?: Director Irwin's private affairs are not anyone's concern. It is known that she has 2 living children, but her marriage status is not your business!

23. What is a common pickup line?: N/A.

1. What is the age limit for marriage? Graduating High School. See our factbook.

2. Is divorce legal? After becoming a widow? If yes, in what way is it treated by citizens?
3. Is homosexual marriage legal? If yes, how is it treated by citizens?
4. Is sex before marriage legal? Frowned upon?
The government isn't involved in marriage or any other aspect of interpersonal sexual or romantic relationships in any way.

For the below questions, many of these factors vary by region and or karass:
5. What is your country's people's attitude towards marriage? Marriage is seen as a public declaration of commitment, and almost everyone will honor and respect such an arrangement.
6. How do they propose? With what? Are women allowed to propose? That's a big question. In Academy city it's very informal. In Beaumonde, usually it's done in front of everyone is a party atmosphere. In Marsei, they sometimes write it into a play or musical arrangement. It is rumoured that the Abbiatis have sometimes used a marriage as part of an intelligence gathering mission, but I'm sure that's not true.
"Allowed"? Try and stop our women from doing something they want to do...
7. Is parental approval needed? Maybe not the biological parents, always, but it's only polite to let the family know. Most of the time the know already.
8. Who takes the last name? Up to them. Sometimes neither, sometimes both.
9. Are weddings private or large parties? Both? Yes.
10. Are wedding expensive? Not usually, meaning almost never. Conspicuous displays of wealth are seen as primitive and emotionally infantile.
11. What do the spouses wear at their wedding day? Whatever they choose. Sometimes nothing.
12. Where are party weddings held (if you said yes)? Almost anywhere.
13. Where are private weddings held (if you said yes)? Almost anywhere.
14. What sort of music is usually played? Whatever they like.
15. How is the ("I Do") ceremony played out? Do they kiss? However their karass does these things
16. Are afterparties common? Are they separated by gender or not? Afterparties are common for everything in Sadakoyama. Few things are separated by gender.
17. If yes, what is done at afterparties? It varies. Academy City likes its high intensity raves, Beaumonde it's usually a crawly boil and lots of zydeco dancing. Marsei does elegant, refined banquets and in Goliad it's basically just a big family feast with the combined karass.
18. What kind of lovers are YN's people? That's kind of personal, isn't it?
19. Is sexual activity strictly for making children or also for pleasure and bonding? If you must know, we'll f*ck just to blow off steam. Or because we like the way a new person smells.
20. Is rape recognized in marriage as a crime? Forcing intercourse without consent is always a violation; thankfully our level of education and universal psychological care has reduced such occurrences almost to extinction.
21. Are there limits to how many children they can have? Reason and resource management? None are officially imposed.
22. Is your leader married? Many of the Sciencemasters are, including Education Director SM Harper Wade Addison.
23. What is a common pickup line? "How you doin'?"

1. What is the age limit for marriage? 20 years of age.

2. Is divorce legal? After becoming a widow? If yes, in what way is it treated by citizens? Divorce is legal, however the person who desires a divorce must bring forwards evidence or abuse or other criminal acts. Investigations are common. It is largely frowned upon, as it tears apart families.

3. Is homosexual marriage legal? If yes, how is it treated by citizens? Yes. Homosexual marriage has been legal since our independence, and so it’s treated just like any other marriage.

4. Is sex before marriage legal? Frowned upon? It is legal; we can’t nor want to control people’s private business. It is usually frowned upon as it can cause problems with parentage and partnerships.

5. What is your country's people's attitude towards marriage? Kynelanders are generally positive on marriage and the majority endorse it.

6. How do they propose? With what? Are women allowed to propose? Both men and women propose by offering a type of ring (usually a decorated steel ring or jewelled band) to the one they love.

7. Is parental approval needed? No, but it’s usually seen as necessary.

8. Who takes the last name? Surnames are usually taken by the man.

9. Are weddings private or large parties? Both? Most weddings are private affairs, with mostly family and a few friends attending. Generally the wealthier someone is, the larger their wedding. The wedding of the king and his partner in 2015, prior to his coronation, was a private affair for example.

10. Are wedding expensive? They are, unfortunately. Most weddings in recent decades are largely inexpensive, as to help couples start with more money.

11. What do the spouses wear at their wedding day? Women typically wear wedding gowns and men were suits. Clothing is becoming more unisex in recent years, so this may well change.

12. Where are party weddings held (if you said yes)? This is up to the couple.

13. Where are private weddings held (if you said yes)? ^

14. What sort of music is usually played? During the ceremony, choir is played in larger weddings and private wedding ceremonies typically have folk music. The parties have whatever the couple desires, but this is usually pop music.

15. How is the ("I Do") ceremony played out? Do they kiss? It takes influence from Christian weddings, although the phrasing is much less religious. The couple does kiss to solidify their marriage.

16. Are afterparties common? Are they separated by gender or not? Afterparties are very common and they’re not at all separated by gender or sex.

17. If yes, what is done at afterparties? Whatever the couple desires, but usually dancing, singing and eating.

18. What kind of lovers are YN's people? Kynelanders are typically very devoted, honest lovers. They’re not very spontaneous, but their love is more often than not forged by fire and as tough as iron.

19. Is sexual activity strictly for making children or also for pleasure and bonding? It’s actually more of a bonding and pleasurable experience. Children are had at the couple’s leisure.

20. Is rape recognized in marriage as a crime? Yes. Spousal rape can be grounds for divorce and punishment of the crime.

21. Are there limits to how many children they can have? There are no limits, but having any more than 4 children isn’t viewed mostly positively.

22. Is your leader married? Yes. He is married to Marta.

23. What is a common pickup line? “Be my lab partner? We’ve got chemistry.”

1. What is the age limit for marriage? Sixteen.

2. Is divorce legal? After becoming a widow? If yes, in what way is it treated by citizens? In the states of Tuvia and Sangaur, divorce is not legal. Everywhere else, yes --- but it isn't usually looked upon favorably. As for marrying again after becoming a widow or widower, it's legal and usually considered fine; although there is some social stigma against older people marrying again.

3. Is homosexual marriage legal? If yes, how is it treated by citizens? Yes. Homosexuals can marry in Nui-ta just as easily as any heterosexual couple; while there may be a few prejudiced old farts here and there, generally this is not viewed with any negativity.

4. Is sex before marriage legal? Frowned upon? It's legal. Some more liberal areas of the country are starting to care less --- generally sex before marriage is frowned upon.

5. What is your country's people's attitude towards marriage? A vital part of a person's life. People are expected to settle down and have families at some point, in some way or another. Marriage is a part of that; past a certain age, bachelors and bachelorettes are seen as undesirable, or worthy of sympathy.

6. How do they propose? With what? Are women allowed to propose? Depends. Statistics show that between 30% to 50% of Nui-tan marriages are arranged. In these cases, families will terms for two individuals to marry, although the consent of the bride and groom are still required to move a marriage forward.

While there is a traditional way to propose in Nui-ta, the newer generations will propose through all sorts of means. Social media will be flush with proposal stories ranging from expensive jewelry, to someone organizing a flash mob for their partner, to even someone just straight up asking in the middle of dinner. As for the traditional way, a prospective couple must first introduce each other to their families. If this goes successfully and the couple wish to continue, they will call both families for a party and the couple will jointly announce their intent to marry.

In homosexual marriage, the person from the higher-ranking family should be the one to ask. Otherwise, women are allowed to propose, but men are usually pressured to be the ones to ask.

7. Is parental approval needed? No, but it is expected.

8. Who takes the last name? Last names are a complicated affair in Nui-ta. While commoners don't usually have a prefix attached to their last name, the various noble houses do. If one or both members of the couple belong to the nobility, the spouse from the lower household will take the prefix of the higher-ranking house. Regardless of all this, women will always change their actual surname if they marry a man.

A good example of this is the case of a deceased Nui-tan princess named Ivana di-Nostra (nee di-Amori). She married someone from the ji-Nostra family who was "only" a Baron; as she was a princess, her husband took the royal suffix for his name after marrying her, but she was still required to change her last name from Amori to Nostra once her wedding was over.

9. Are weddings private or large parties? Both? They can be either. It depends on both the wishes of the couple, and the status of the family. Affluent families, particularly in the nobility, are expected to make a wedding into an all-day affair --- but at the end of the day, it does still come down to personal choice.

10. Are wedding expensive? They can be, depending on how lavish of a ceremony you want.

11. What do the spouses wear at their wedding day? If either spouse is actively serving in the military, they may wear a dress uniform, although women are generally expected to opt for a gown anyway. Wedding gowns in Nui-ta are particularly opulent versions of the normal salwar that is worn in the country. For a wedding, a groom's salwar will be black while the bride's will be gold.

12. Where are party weddings held (if you said yes)? Most weddings in Nui-ta happen in temples, although non-religious families may use a courthouse. From there, large receptions that happen afterwards usually take place at a banquet hall or a hotel, although any private venue that will allow you to hold the reception there is fair game.

13. Where are private weddings held (if you said yes)? For where the actual wedding ceremonies happen, see the bit about either a temple or a courthouse in the above. After that, smaller receptions usually take place at a restaurant or a household.

14. What sort of music is usually played? You have to save the music for the reception; courthouses and temples do the actual ceremony and blaring any kind of music ruins the ceremoniousness of the act.

Once you get to the reception, the bride and groom can pick whatever they want to play or have played that they can get brought in.

15. How is the ("I Do") ceremony played out? Do they kiss? In a courtroom, after all the vows are made and paperwork is signed, the couple usually get one chance to give each other a quick kiss. In a temple, after the rings are exchanged, an "I Do" is not required, but the couple must seal the deal with a kiss.

16. Are afterparties common? Are they separated by gender or not? Receptions are basically one big after-party. They are not separated by gender at all. It's basically a chance for everyone to get drunk and party, but it must end when the bride and groom decide they're done partying with the guests and would like to....uh.....move on to something else.

17. If yes, what is done at afterparties? I just said. They drink and they party until the couple get tired of the company of guests and kick everyone out.

18. What kind of lovers are YN's people? Usually stereotyped as prude but loyal; although recently it was noted in the country of Radiatia that Nui-tan men are seen as exotic and chivalrous items by Radiatian women, which might sometimes give them a bit of a popularity boost?

19. Is sexual activity strictly for making children or also for pleasure and bonding? Both, although having children in some form or another is considered an essential part of being married. If you're homosexual and can't have biological children for obvious reasons, then there's a lot of pressure to adopt.

20. Is rape recognized in marriage as a crime? Yes.

21. Are there limits to how many children they can have? Absolutely not. In fact, families are expected to have as many children as they can reasonably provide for.

22. Is your leader married? The Emperor is married with one child. The Prime Minister is not married. Some polls in Nui-ta note that Prime Minister Talia Dehran is a bit poorly viewed because she has never married. Conversely, when Prime Minister Evan Isaci married while in office, his approval ratings took an 8 point boost just from that.

23. What is a common pickup line? You may fall from the sky. You may fall from a tree, but the best way to fall is.....in love with me.

1. What is the age limit for marriage? 15 years, it was recently raised from 14.
2. Is divorce legal? After becoming a widow? If yes, in what way is it treated by citizens? Divorce is illegal. Marrying after being widowed is fine.
3. Is homosexual marriage legal? If yes, how is it treated by citizens? No, and homosexuality is considered a mental illness. It used to be considered a capital crime.
4. Is sex before marriage legal? Frowned upon? It's not legal and will result in your forcible marriage if caught.
5. What is your country's people's attitude towards marriage? It's expected, it makes babies --- people deal with it.
6. How do they propose? With what? Are women allowed to propose? A woman is not allowed to propose. A man who seeks to propose must ask a woman's father or closest male relative for permission. If she has no close male relatives, the state will act as her custodian (so he'll have to file paperwork with the government). In all cases, he must also pay a bride price.
7. Is parental approval needed? The father's approval is required; the mother's is irrelevant.
8. Who takes the last name? The woman; but in Nui-ta, married women use hyphenated last names. The wife of the current High-Envoy was born Cecilia Patrocia; after marrying Fiete Nikastro, her last name simply became Patrocia-Nikastro.
9. Are weddings private or large parties? Both? Almost always large parties. Hadinians will invite the entire town to a wedding. The next town too? Sure, if they can make it!
10. Are wedding expensive? Yes! For a decent wife, the bride price alone is usually 10,000 Dir. A running joke in Hadin is that no one has freedom of movement, not because of any laws, but because they're too broke saving up for a wife to buy a car! And then there's the after-party --- alcohol for an entire town isn't cheap. Fortunately, the only way to get married in Hadin is at a Septimist chapel or cathedral, and since the church is the government, if you follow the protocol for getting married correctly, you're entitled to a basic ceremony as it's a government service.
11. What do the spouses wear at their wedding day? Men wear the best formal outfit they have. Women wear full wedding gowns with veils. While the style and detail of a wedding gown vary depending on how rich or poor the groom is (or the bride's family in some cases), a typical Hadinian wedding gown looks like this.
12. Where are party weddings held (if you said yes)? Richer citizens will have the wedding at a cathedral, while the poor stick to chapels. The party doesn't happen until the morning after; richer citizens will entertain at home or in a rented out venue; poorer citizens will party at the pub. Despite being a religious country, Hadin has quite the obsession with alcohol.
13. Where are private weddings held (if you said yes)? A private wedding? HAH! Surely you jest.
14. What sort of music is usually played? Religious music at the ceremony. At the party, whatever happens to be available.
15. How is the ("I Do") ceremony played out? Do they kiss? There is no "I Do" portion, as many Hadinian brides have no say in who and when they marry. There are only two laws that protect a Hadinian woman from a forced marriage; if they are under 15, they cannot be married at all. If they are over 15, and intelligent enough, they can seek to apply as a nun with the local church. If the priest deems them competent enough, they cannot be married off --- but they must enter a cloister and cannot leave the nunnery. As for whether or not they kiss, they do. Specifically, there's a bit of ceremony to it. The husband must lift his wife's veil from her face, turn her to any audience present, and then turn her back to him and kiss her. Whether she wants him to or not. The bride is not allowed to kiss back or show any reaction to the kiss at all, even if she was lucky enough to marry someone she actually liked. It's a strange, sterile affair.
16. Are afterparties common? Are they separated by gender or not? Afterparties are held the morning after, and are usually at least somewhat separated by gender. People might all drink together but will mingle within their gender for socialization.
17. If yes, what is done at afterparties? Booze. Talk. Booze. Among the poor, dirty jokes about the first night of the bride and groom. Among the rich, gossip about local politics and other affairs. Booze. Talk. Booze. Booze. Pass out. Somehow booze while unconscious. Get poked in the head by the police at 3 am because the party is over and you must go home now.
18. What kind of lovers are YN's people? They're stereotyped as terrible lovers because there's some bad apples in Hadin that are really atrocious --- but there are actually some Hadinian men and women who are quite nice and loving.
19. Is sexual activity strictly for making children or also for pleasure and bonding? Officially, for children. Unofficially --- no one follows that rule. Or they do and that's why half of Hadin has 15 children.
20. Is rape recognized in marriage as a crime? Nope.
21. Are there limits to how many children they can have? No, quite the opposite. You get a pretty sizable tax deduction for each child. The government essentially pays you to have as many children as you can.
22. Is your leader married? Yes. Fiete Nikastro is married with three children --- although one is adopted. It's complicated.
23. What is a common pickup line? "Is your daughter over 15? She is? Good, how much will she cost me?"

Just so you know, this nation, in character, is a highly sexist, highly theocratic, and highly authoritarian state. (Though under the new guy, it seems to be improving a little).

I disagree with a lot of what this nation stands for. It was invented for its intrigue and ample opportunities for satire, not for its ideals.
