Association Football, Boxing, and Archery are the three national sports of Coldfield. Practiced since 1890 yet the first national football tournament was held in 1950 - the Commonwealth Cup. In early years football teams were amateur and they took part in regional championships: North, Central Mountains, South, and West. Nowadays Coldfieldian clubs play in a yearly domestic cup, three national leagues, and six regional conferences. The Coldfieldian National Football Team (the CONFUT) was established in late 2016 and took part in Baptism of Fire 64, being eliminated by Amnarei-asud in the penalties after a dramatic match of the quarter-finals. Coldfield also participated in the WC 77 and Campionato Esportiva 19; in the former CONFUT was eliminated in the qualification stage after a terrible campaign; in the latter, Coldfield won just one match and didn't make into the round of sixteen. In the World Cup 78 qualifiers Coldfield had a real chance of qualifying, however, the 1-2 loss for Tinhampton at the Crownsville Palace Colossus destroyed any chances the team had, finishing fourth in Group Three with eight wins, four draws, and four losses. CONFUT also took part in Cup of Harmony 70 and DuPont Charity Cup, being eliminated in the group stage and second round respectively. Coldfield performed a fairly good campaign in Campionato Esportiva 20, being eliminated by hosts Mattijana in the quarter-finals.

Stadium
Crownsville Palace Colossus

The Crownsville Palace Colossus (CPC) is the biggest stadium in the nation of Coldfield. Located in the heart of Crownsville - the biggest city and also the capital of Coldfield - it is home to the Coldfieldian National Football Team and the Coldfieldian Olympic Team. Built in 1993 as an expansion for the Crownsville Palace (where the royal family resides), it hosted finals of the Coldfieldian Cup, the Winners' Cup, the national Archery Tournament, and the Coldfieldian Male Boxing. It is accessible through the subway and the Palace Avenue, The stadium has more than 30 exits (half of them directly linked to the Royal Gardens, the facade of the Crownsville Palace), two Zony's electronic placards (west and east), 55 bathrooms, 30 Lepsi's snack stalls, 6 MacDavid's restaurants, two recreational centers, two gyms, one museum, one big parking lane, and one theater. The stadium uses a natural grass field. 85% of the stadium are seats, while the other 15% are bleachers - mostly on the north section which is unprotected from the sun as shown in the pic. It is important to state that the CPC can be fully evacuated in 6 to 8 minutes in emergencies. The stadium was reformed from 2017-2019.

My overall account that I use for P2TM and even for international roleplaying! MNM is a mysterious and extremely dangerous dictatorship filled with supernatural oddities, demons, militarized soldiers everywhere, and a misanthropic nihilistic dictator who doesn't give a damn. RP permissions: Your RP permissions are mine, short of death and career-ending injuries. If I can send off your players, you can send off mine. If your players can’t be booked, neither can mine. If I can rain a hail of meteors down on the city, so can you. Just make it funny/entertaining, if you don’t mind. ;)

Note: Soltsteedish surnames follow RL Netherlands Dutch conventions on surname prefixes: they aren’t capitalised when used in combination with first names or initials, but are capitalised in all other situations. For example, “Carle de Marcht” is correct, while “Carle De Marcht” is not; however, when the given name is not used, “De Marcht” is proper, while “de Marcht” is not.

The default Soltsteedish strategy can be summed up in one phrase: “the best offence is a good defence”. The Stallions play a highly opportunistic attack, lying in wait for an opportunity rather than charging head-on. Possession is mostly confined to the midfield, keeping the ball comfortably away from [insert Emmet Ferdinand’s eventual replacement here]’s goal and close enough to Soltsteed’s lone striker Carle de Marcht for him to attack when necessary. Soltsteed prefer to play a passing game in possession, while attempting to pry the ball away from the opposition when not, either by intercepting a pass or tackling players. The Stallions will attempt to frustrate and infuriate the opposition through tactics of time wasting, bus parking and—in the most desperate of circumstances—dirty play if necessary to achieve the desired result and are unashamed of drawing games and advancing via penalty shoot-outs.

About Omerica

Association code: OME
Team nickname: Les Incorrigibles
KPB rating: 4.81 (114th)
Home stadium: RS Amphitheatre, Port-des-Saints (capacity: 54,000)

A federation in the far north, Omerica is a cosmopolitan maritime nation, famed for its environmental beauty, thriving black markets and love of a good drink. Omerica is a federal directorial republic with a semi-direct democratic system of governance. An influential country in international affairs, the nation ranks as one of the most politically and socially free states in the multiverse. The nation is noted for having some of the most friendly, compassionate and brash people in the multiverse, who enjoy high rates of economic, scientific and cultural development. The nation is rated as one of the least corrupt and least authoritarian in the world, with low rates of ignorance, obesity, political apathy and preventable death.

About Les Incorrigibles
Just like the history of the nation, the history of Omerican football has been rocky. The nation was one of fifty-six to début in Baptism of Fire 56, where the team made the knockout stage with an undefeated record before bowing out to Lons after extra time in the last 32. Les Oiseaux subsequently floundered for several cycles, finishing below expectations in tournament after tournament and struggling to find their footing. But fortunes turned around during the Campionato Esportiva in the Sarian, where Omerica unexpectedly won their group and made the quarterfinals after defeating Yttribia. Despite falling to runners-up Nephara in a close match, the tournament marked a significant turn in fortunes: a bitter (and, to Osarians, infamous) third-place finish in the World Cup 73 qualifiers, two consecutive knockout stage qualifications and Round of 16 exits and—the nation’s crowning moment of glory—an upset qualification for World Cup 74, where the team scalped Flardania and nearly advanced to the knockout phase.

However, success proved short-lived. After boycotting CE XVI in Falatulu, the Omerican Football Federation found itself mired in a corruption and betting scandal. Combined with a riotous fanbase which had caused numerous bouts of destruction, the scandal dogged the team’s World Cup 75 qualifying campaign and ultimately brought the OFF to an untimely end, ordered dissolved by the Sessions Court of the Metropolitan Arrondissement and liquidated to cover the fines issued to its executives. In the aftermath of the scandal, the republican football associations, which had predated and existed parallel to the OFF, formed the United Republican Soccer Federation to take over the OFF’s functions and opted to pull Omerica from international competition. Half a decade later, a new national team emerged to contest the Independents Cup and, after much internal debate, the World Cup with little success.
Staff
Manager: Christine Salmond
The first woman to ascend to the top managerial position of Omerica’s flagship sporting team, Salmond got her start at United Philibiscostal and Royal Martecabras. Her relationship with Jean-Baptiste Archambault made her the front-runner to become his assistant after James-Alexandre Christopherson’s dismissal as manager, though it was not until Archambault’s death and Ryan Pritchard’s hiring that Salmond finally got the nod. With Pritchard having announced his intention to retire from the managerial role, Salmond was the overwhelming favourite to take on the ‘‘most difficult job in the United Republics.’’ Noted for her love of flowing football, Salmond is the antithesis of her nigh-defensive predecessor and has already moved to stamp her mark on the highest football team in the land.

Assistant Manager: George Kostas
One of the stars of Omerica’s Baptism of Fire campaign and a subsequent stalwart of the so-called ‘‘Triad’’ that dominated early Omerican international football, Kostas has turned towards managerial duties since his retirement from international duty. Coaching his club side Corona Christiana to four Central Omerican titles and two national championships since the fall of the Premiership, Kostas has been called the best manager of the post-OFF era. With the URSF having the good fortune of seeing his contract with La Corona expire, the former forward and stalwart of football’s post-OFF revival has returned to the international eye as the replacement for newly-minted manager Christine Salmond.

Failure was widely expected in qualification, but it proved a liberation from high expectations, giving Les Incorrigibles the freedom to experiment with different systems and formations. With Salmond taking over the reigns of Omerica from Ryan Pritchard, the team has shifted gears from the nigh defensive 5–4–1 to the more balanced 4–4–1–1. After struggling to produce in the midfield, Red Bolton is back in his favoured hole position (the position he plays at club level in Coleraine), assisting an often frustrated Morgan Barzetti. The weak link of the defensive line Charity Kayode has taken a back seat, giving Ville-du-Nord’s Elise Bianchi the chance to shine in Bolton’s old position.

NEWMANISTAN ROCKETS

WORLD CUP 80 ROSTER

“Three-time Cup of Harmony Champions”

In a shocking last minute announcement, Emperor Michael V approved the participation of the Empire in World Cup 80, breaking in a very long hiatus which just happens to be exactly 40 Cups after we debut initially, doing so in World Cup 40, which was also hosted by Starblaydia.

Soccer is an appreciated sport in Newmanistan, but multiple failures to qualify for the World Cup ultimately led our fan base to become less interested in the tournament. There was only so many times the Cup of Harmony could excite our fans. After finishing 33rd on three occasions (or, three Cup of Harmony titles), even that tournament became less exciting. With the nation having more success in other sports, Newmanistan quietly exited the tournament.

There had been some rumors that Newmanistan might return for World Cup 80, since it would be numerically appropriate with our World Cup 40 debut, but for a while it looked like that would not be the case. At the very last minute, the Empire would announce its return, so the best players in the country will get a chance to showcase their stuff and show the world that at the very least, that nation known for baseball does actually have a soccer team.

Manager- Michael Stratton (47, Southport Tigers)
Assistant- Edward Tucker (53, South Charlotte Condors)
Assistant- Percy Dawkins (48, Olympia Gladiators)

STARTERS:

GK- Sergio Lopez (26, Loudon Leopards) (#1)

– Ever since he debuted, Lopez has amazed fans in Loudon and frustrated others with his incredible agility. Quick on his feet, Lopez is a step ahead of the shooter at home, anyway. Whether he will be able to be that against the world is another matter, but its what makes him the starting keeper for the Rockets, anyway.

LB- Shawn Mullen (28, Dover City Mountaineers) (#2)
– Mullen is the tallest member of the Rockets backfield, so opponents will need to be mindful of that. He’s strong, and usually able to keep opposing players to his outside. He doesn’t bite on fancy moves. As such, he will not get carded all that much. He’s one of those players you will not notice all that much, as he takes care of his own business, but not does not razzle dazzle you, either.

LCB- Chris Shelton (25, Southport Tigers) (#4)
– Shelton will be a good complimentary player to Mullen on the left side of the pitch, because while he lacks in size somewhat, he is a very agile player. Sure, it might help that he plays for the same team as manager Stratton, but Chris is a smart player. He can be prone to inconsistency, though.

RCB- Dwight Curran (28, Pocono City Capitals) (#5)
– Curran is the most offensive minded of those in the backfield, so you will see him take free kicks and the like pretty often. He is who the team will prefer to have set up the midfielders and the forwards, and he will sneak into the offense himself sometimes. It can lead him vulnerable to being caught out of position against a quick counter attack. Oh wait, we shouldn’t have said that out loud!

RB- Cody Hall (27, Tundra Falls Mariners) (#3)
– Those with grandparents old enough to have heard their grandparents talk about how the Rockets used to play when they tried to qualify will tell you that they have always had that one physical defender who enjoys testing the limits of what the refs will card, and usually knowing those limits well. Cody Hall is along the lines. Anyone taking him on will have bruises the next morning, regardless of if they actually scored or not.

LM- Timothy Hines (30, Centralia Cougars) (#7)
– The veteran is so honored that he is able to represent the Empire in the World Cup Qualifiers that we hope he doesn’t trip over his feet during the match. Actually, that happened in the finale of domestic play, when he was the only player back against a Pocono City rush, and he tripped over his own feet. Other then being on the blooper reel, he takes care of business in a gritty way.

CAM- Chase Lassiter (23, North Charlotte Wildcats) (#8)
– Young phenom could be seen as a third forward, as more then likely, he will be a part of the attack when the Rockets try to generate offense, but the team will still play with a base 4-4-2 formation. Lassiter has the most powerful shot on the team, and is deadly accurate. He’s not a shifty player, so that’s why he’s not up front as a general rule.

CDM- Brian McNeal (25, Putnam Lake Eagles) (#9)
– The only member of the Eagles in the starting lineup. They were the team most familiar with Jeremy McAllister back in the day, but don’t look for us to call him B-Mac because Brian is not a goal scorer. He’s speedy, so he fits well in this spot, but other then that, he’s looking to set up others. Enjoys physical play, and the most prone to a card on the team, not Hall.

RM- Travis Grady (27, Jessicaville Millionaires) (#12)
– Strong player on the wing, who is equally skilled in creating offense, or stopping an attack. He’s somewhat disliked in the Empire due to being in the headlines for the wrong reasons, and some might question if he will be focused on the games, and not other things. Due to his ability, he gets a shot. For now, anyway.

LS- Robert Webster (31, Southport Tigers) (#10) (CAPTAIN)
– Webster has been the leading goal scorer in Newmanistan for eight of his 12-year career. Although only has happened once in the last three years. Perhaps he is a tad past his prime, but Webster is a tenacious player with plenty of experience. The team named him the captain as well, and not only because he is the oldest member of the team and surely not only because he plays for the same team that Stratton manages.

RS- Matthew Holt (22, Daytopia Racers) (#11)
– Every national team needs that young scoring phenom. Well, Holt is ours. His top ability is his agility, but his size allows him to be competitive with any defender out there. He’s stronger on the ball then it seems, making them very excited about him in Daytopia. That is, until he signs with a bigger club in Newmanistan (or elsewhere, perhaps).

The parliamentary republic of Zwangzug, an antisocial social democracy now eleven years old (the decimal system is passe) has a long and--dare we say it--checkered history. The original national team competed through World Cup (qualifying campaign)s 33 through 42; a successor team participated in 64 through 69. After a hiatus caused by the country's sudden and devastating retreat into isolationism, a temporary recovery was made, and the national league (the 1./) which had emerged with the second iteration of the NT resumed play. Since World Cup 69, their involvement in the international world has been erratic; they won the 6th Eagle's Cup, and also participated in the seventh edition, where most of these players made their debut.

More than you probably wanted to know about Zwangzug can be found in our factbook, unless what you wanted to know was...relevant to modern happenings such as the football team/league, in which case probably you're out of luck until the biographer is motivated to go back to work. Don't hold your breath (but feel free to motivate).

If RPing first, please feel free to name goalscorers, injure, and distribute cards to my players at will! You can also godmod events, though I'd appreciate advance warning if you want to take narrative liberties that I couldn't just as easily do to your team (due to being, e.g., an MT, mostly-human country). Put another way, metaphorical "godmodding" is welcome if clever, but I'd avoid the literal sense.

Siovanija and Teusland National Football Team: World Cup 80 Qualification

FACTS
Nation Name: United Republics of Siovanija and Teusland
Short Names: Siovanija and Teusland, the United Republics
Demonyms: Siovanijan, Teuslander/Teus
FA: United Football Association of Siovanija and Teusland (UFAST)
Colours: Blue, gold, white, black
Anthem: ‘High Mountain Skies’
Highest Domestic League: Republikaliga
Nicknames: The Goldhorns
Style Modifier: +3.5
Formation: 4-2-3-1

Coaching Staff

Manager: Apostol Manevski, Energija Chernovets
Manevski remains on the job for the Goldhorns following the Baptism of Fire campaign, and will lead the team into World Cup Qualifiers. His teams always have an attacking edge to them, and he’s chosen to continue with the 4-2-3-1 formation the team used in the Baptism of Fire. That campaign, of course, ended with a defeat in the Quarterfinals to the eventual runner-up, however Manevski believes the team will learn from their mistakes. Knowing the team will likely come up against much better opposition often in the Qualifying campaign, Manevski is willing to allow his team to take risks, as overall they really have nothing to lose. In terms of his squads, Manevski likes to rely on proven players, but isn’t afraid to give younger, less experienced players a shot.

Assistant Managers: Kasper Knauer (FC Teussen Stelburg), Alan Dzekov (Unattached)

Potential Call-Ups

The national team’s depth chart will be listed below, divided up in terms of position. They are ordered in terms of most likely to be selected to the squad for matches. Caps are accurate to the end of Baptism of Fire 67, and ages are accurate to the start of qualifiers.

Goalkeepers
GK -- Viktor VENEV -- FK Metropola Borograd -- 30 -- 5 caps -- 2 clean sheets
GK -- Yanko ZHELYASKOV -- Olympia Borograd -- 20 -- Uncapped
GK -- Julian FEHR -- FC Teussen Stelburg -- 29 -- Uncapped
GK -- Teodor SOTIROV -- Energija Chernovets -- 32 -- Uncapped

In goal, Manevski has access to several of the Republikaliga’s top goaltending talents. Ole Sauer retired from internationals after the Baptism of Fire, meaning that only Viktor Venev is capped. Venev is likely to be the starter for the majority of matches, but don’t be surprised to see Yanko Zhelyaskov or Julian Fehr come into the team as well. Teodor Sotirov is an unlikely choice to play, but could be taken into the squad if injury should befall another player.

Left Backs
LB -- Dietmar KLEINMANN -- FC Teussen Stelburg -- 25 -- 6 caps -- 0 goals, 1 assist
LB -- Lyubomir DIMITROV -- FK Orlovska Bistrica -- 22 -- 1 cap
LB -- Samuil KARALEVOV -- Olympia Borograd -- 27 -- Uncapped
LB -- Paul SCHORNER -- SW Stahlberg -- 25 -- Uncapped

Kleinmann is the obvious go-to choice, and had a solid display at the Baptism of Fire. He’s got a lot of pace and moves the ball well up and down the side of the park. Behind him is Lyubomir Dimitrov, who made 1 appearance at the BoF, and is generally considered a prospect for the future. Samuil Karalevov, the Olympia left back, could be called to the squad and adds physicality to the game, while Paul Schorner is a similar player to Kleinmann and would slot in well if called upon.

Centre Backs
CB -- Stefan LICHT -- FC St. Jakob -- 25 -- 6 caps -- 1 goal
CB -- Raphael KLOPFER -- 1912 Stelburg -- 25 -- 6 caps
CB -- Detimar TSVETKOV -- Energija Chernovets -- 28 -- 3 caps
CB -- Krum KYNEV -- FK Metropola Borograd -- 26 -- 1 cap
CB -- Nikola KARAPETROV -- Olympia Borograd -- 23 -- Uncapped
CB -- Daniel PINGOV -- Vrnovo Mesto -- 26 -- Uncapped

Licht and Klopfer formed the main partnership at the back end at the Baptism of Fire, and they had performed quite well in the group stage round. Detimar Tsvetkov looked good when he was brought on, and is a reliable choice. Manager Manevski knows him well, and has a lot of trust in him. Krum Kynev saw little playtime at the BoF, and his Republikaliga performances in his second season will determine whether he remains in the squad. He’ll be competing with Nikola Karapetrov, the Olympia Borograd man with great potential, and Daniel Pingov, the commander of Vrnovo Mesto’s famously stingy backline. Beyond the top 3 spots, the role of 4th centre back on the squad is certainly up for grabs.

Right Backs
RB -- Lutz DASCHNER -- 1912 Stelburg -- 28 -- 6 caps -- 1 assist
RB -- Thorsten HELMKE -- FC Felsenkirchen 1879 -- 23 -- 2 caps -- 1 assist
RB -- Albert WEIDEMANN -- FC Teussen Stelburg -- 27 -- Uncapped
RB -- Atanas VELIKOV -- FK Vlaikograd 1896 -- 26 -- Uncapped

Daschner was the starter for the national side at the Baptism of Fire, and he put in a very solid display. He has a mind for the goal, and has been known to take risks going forwards. However, as one of the more veteran and trusted players, he’s also counted on as a leader and organizer of the backline. Thorsten Helmke served as a trusted back-up at the BoF, and is a more cautious player than Daschner. Albert Weidemann has a shot at making the team, if he should perform well in the Republikaliga, and is known for his ability to put in a cross. Atanas Velikov has lots of pace, and dominated in the second-tier 2. Republikaliga last season for Vlaikograd. Of course, he’ll have to prove he can keep it up in the top league this season if he should want a place in the squad.

Central Midfield
CM -- Thorsten KRAMER -- FC Teussen Stelburg -- 19 -- 7 caps -- 2 goals, 2 assists
CM -- Dennis BROTZMANN -- FC St. Jakob -- 25 -- 7 caps
CM -- Evgeni ANTONOV -- Energija Chernovets -- 24 -- 6 caps -- 1 assist
CM -- Vladimir KOSTOV -- Olympia Borograd -- 29 -- Uncapped
CM -- Johann SCHULHOFF -- 1912 Stelburg -- 29 -- Uncapped

Apostol Manevski will have quite the selection headache ahead of him in the Qualifiers if his main men in the centre of the park keep up their stellar play. Thorsten Kramer is the obvious number 1 choice, he is perhaps the most skilled player in the country and on this team. A hot prospect, he’s able to sit in the central midfield role as more of a playmaker, but can also be moved up behind the striker and has a knack for goal. Dennis Brotzmann brings a more defensive style of play, much more of an anchor. He compliments Kramer well. He’ll be competing with Evgeni Antonov. The young Chernovets man brings pace into the midfield, and also a sense of urgency moving forwards. Which of Brotzmann or Antonov will play with Kramer will really come down to performances in the league and qualifiers. Vladimir Kostov is a player who brings lots of physicality and strength on the ball into the midfield. He could slot into a match which needs an extra edge to it if called upon. Johann Schulhoff, the 1912 Stelburg man, can make solid passes and reads the game very well. His possible inclusion in the squad will come down to his performances in the league, or if one of the 4 in front of him doesn’t perform to expectations.

Left Wing
AML -- Paulus LEISTNER -- FC Kaiserhaven -- 26 -- 6 caps -- 2 goals, 2 assists
AML -- Georgi LUKONOV -- Olympia Borograd -- 27 -- 2 caps -- 1 assist
AML -- Alexander GESCHKE -- FC Teussen Stelburg -- 27 -- Uncapped
AML -- Ingolf KRUGER -- Marlesee 97 -- 21 -- Uncapped

Left wing is one of those rolls where there’s a lot of depth available to Apostol Manevski. Arguments for at least 6 Republikaliga players could be made to get into the squad, however, these 4 have the best chance. Paulus Leistner was the starter at the Baptism of Fire, and put in good performances. He knows how to beat defenders with many different tricks, and has a bit of flair in his game. He can also shoot a ball well, but is willing to pass if a shot isn’t available. Georgi Lukonov made 2 appearances for the country, and would be a solid choice, as is Alex Geschke, the FC Teussen left winger. Both would be a good choice on this team, and performances will determine that result. Ingolf Kruger is a younger winger with a lot of potential that could come onto this team. His Marlesee side weren’t great last year but Kruger wasn’t part of the problem, and if he does well in the league this season he could force his way into the squad.

Central Attacking Midfielder
AMC -- Viktor DIMITROV -- Energija Chernovets -- 24 -- 7 caps -- 1 goal, 5 assists
AMC -- Jurgen STERN -- FC Felsenkirchen 1879 -- 27 -- 2 caps
AMC -- Ernst SCHOFF -- FC Teussen Stelburg -- 23 -- Uncapped

Viktor Dimitrov is the engine of this team. He was a major factor for the team at the Baptism of Fire, with 5 assists in that tournament. He moves the ball well, and has a great ability to pass the ball. He brings a lot of creativity to the pitch for this team, and is able to create something out of nothing. Barring injury, he’ll start pretty much every game. The main competition here is for the back-up role. Jurgen Stern won the spot at the Baptism of Fire, and had 2 caps in that tournament. He’ll be contending with Ernst Schoff, the younger FC Teussen man. Schoff has good chemistry with some of the other Teussen players in the squad, and just like Dimitrov passes the ball well. If his season goes well in the Republikaliga, he could overtake Stern and make the squad.

Right Wing
AMR -- Ivo ROMANOV -- Olympia Borograd -- 24 -- 7 caps -- 2 goals, 2 assists
AMR -- Rupert HOLZ -- FC Teussen Stelburg -- 30 -- 4 caps -- 1 goal
AMR -- Mario PFITZNER -- FC Felsenkirchen 1879 -- 25 -- Uncapped

Ivo Romanov left fans of the Goldhorns delighted with his performances at the Baptism of Fire, and he’ll want to keep it up as the team moves into World Cup Qualifiers. He has quite the shot, and was the best player on an Olympia lineup stacked with young talent last season in the Republikaliga. Rupert Holz is another Teussen player in the mix, and he did well when called upon at the Baptism of Fire. Holz is more of a goalscorer than a playmaker, and can be a ‘super sub’ for the team if required. He’s been known for late goals in the Republikaliga, and is always willing to shoot. Mario Pfitzner is another option for backup, and he brings an eye for passing with him. All 3, however, can put the ball in the back of the net.

Centre Forward
CF -- Miroslav DINEV -- Energija Chernovets -- 29 -- 6 caps -- 3 goals
CF -- Anton DIMITROV -- FK Metropola Borograd -- 22 -- 2 caps -- 2 goals
CF -- Theodor ABERBACH -- FC Teussen Stelburg -- 32 -- 4 caps -- 2 goals
CF -- Krasimir KYNEV -- Olympia Borograd -- 21 -- Uncapped
CF -- Ludwig REICHWEIN -- TSV Marzig -- 22 -- Uncapped
CF -- Michael RIBBECK -- SW Stahlberg -- 18 -- Uncapped

This role will be the hardest for the manager to make his decisions on. Miroslav Dinev has earned consideration as first choice, being the team’s leading scorer at the Baptism of Fire and also winner of the Golden Boot in the Republikaliga’s first season. Theodor Aberbach scored 2 at the BoF, and is a solid target man for the team. This makes him valuable in some matches, however, Anton Dimitrov is likely to slot in ahead of him. Dimitrov is known for scoring in bunches in the Republikaliga, and if he gets going in a match it is hard to stop him. League form will determine the overall order behind Dinev, and several young players have a shot of cracking the squad. Leading the way has to be Krasimir Kynev, the Olympia man that has a great first touch and a powerful shot. He had 19 goals as a 20 year old last season in the Republikaliga, and can only get better this year. Ludwig Reichwein, the TSV Marzig man, was incredible on his team for the first half of the season, but dropped off in the second. Surrounded by better players on the national team, he’d be much more likely to repeat that first half performance, and of course which Reichwein appears in the second season of the Republikaliga remains to be seen. Much more of a long shot for the team is Michael Ribbeck. He was Young Player of the Year in the Republikaliga last season, scoring 19 goals as a 17 year old. There had been 0 expectations on Ribbeck, a relatively unknown prospect. Whether he is just a one season wonder or not remains to be seen, and if he still can perform in season 2 with lots of pressure on him now, he could continue his rise on an international stage.

Set Pieces
Left Corners: Dietmar Kleinmann
Right Corners: Lutz Daschner
Free Kicks: Thorsten Kramer, Viktor Dimitrov
Penalties: Miroslav Dinev, Anton Dimitrov, Ivo Romanov

Captains
Default captain is Miroslav Dinev. If he is subbed off or not starting, it will pass to Lutz Daschner, Raphael Klopfer, Stefan Licht and finally Viktor Venev, in that order.

Kits

The first kits for the national team bring a colour scheme of blue/white for home and black/gold for away. Rather than going with one of blue or gold for the home colour, and risking offending half the country, the choice was made for white and black jerseys, saving the national colours for highlights. The crest on the jersey, blue or gold depending on the kit, features the edelweiss in the middle, with the writing ‘Siovanija and Teusland’ above and ‘1896’ below. The goalkeeper kits, not pictured, are full green including shorts.

2 stadiums will be in use by the national team for this year’s World Cup Qualifiers. Those would be the Nationalstadion in Stelburg and the Olimpski-Stadion in Borograd.

The Nationalstadion seats 75,000 and is located downtown in Stelburg. Stelburg is the second largest city in Teusland, located on the River Drai in the central part of the country. It is quite historical, with many buildings dating from the old Imperial era, when Stelburg served as capital of Imperial Teusland. The stadium itself, largest in the nation, plays host to the final and semi-final of the President’s Cup each season, and is the primary stadium of the national team. It will host 6 of the Goldhorns’ 9 home qualifying matches.

The Olimpski-Stadion seats 60,000 and is located in the city of Borograd. Borograd is the largest city in Siovanija, and 2nd largest in the country, located in a more western part of the country in Siovanija. Borograd was chosen as the capital city of the United Republics when they were founded, and had previously served as the capital of the Siovanijan Republic. The stadium is the home ground of football club Olympia Borograd, and serves as the secondary stadium of the national teams. It will host 3 of the Goldhorns’ 9 home qualifying matches.

Brief National Team History
The Kadongo Kamu have played in exactly 150 games, as of the end of Qualifying for World Cup 80. [The national team has participated in 7 World Cup Qualification campaigns(WCQ73, WCQ74, WCQ75, WCQ76, WCQ77, WCQ79, WCQ80) and this is the nation's first ever trip to the World Cup Finals. We have also participated in Baptism of Fire 60, and been a participant in three different Cup of Harmonies(CoH 66, CoH 67, and CoH 71). Outside of this qualification via the playoff, Banija has a checkered history in WCC competition, with many lowlights in these competitions. In three Cup of Harmonies, Banija has never once moved past the group stage in the competition, and in their lone Baptism of Fire, they earned a lone point. They are also distinguished by being one of the few teams to go through an entire World Cup qualification campaign without earning a single point, earning 0 points in their first ever World Cup Qualification campaign, attempting to get to the Finals of World Cup 73.

The team has been on the rise in the last two World Cup cycles. A shocking World Cup 79 Qualification campaign saw them on the brink of qualifying, but the team simply ran out of gas and lost 4 of their final 5 matches to not make it to Ceni/Drawkland. Since then, the U21 team got 3rd place at the 42nd Di Bradini Cup, and the national team advanced to the quarterfinals of AOCAF LV, in their first entry in that competition. They stunningly qualified for World Cup 80, after starting poorly by losing 5 of their first 9, to going unbeaten in the second half of qualifying, where they won 7 of those games. In the World Cup 80 Qualification playoffs, a 3-0 first leg victory in Montreal, Royal Kingdom of Quebec, powered the team through to their first ever appearance in the World Cup Finals, advancing to sport's pre-eminent competition 5-3 on aggregate over Mercedini.

The team's trophy cabinet is bare, having never won any international competition- though the national team won bronze medals earned at the United Valhaven Regional Football Championships on home soil, before their move to Atlantian Oceania.

List of National Team managers
1. Kizza Kabila(Banija). Manager for Baptism of Fire 60 and the World Cup 73 Qualification Campaign. Overall record of 0-14-1(W-L-D).

Kizza Kabila is the only Banijan to have ever managed the national team. Hired for Banija's first foray onto the international scene in this sport, his reign was universally derided as a disaster. Managing 15 games, he drew his first game in the Baptism of Fire, and not only lost the next two, he then lost ever single match in the 12 game World Cup Qualification campaign for World Cup 73, with the side only scoring 5 goals across the entire campaign. Unceremoniously fired after becoming one of few managers to go through an entire World Cup Qualification campaign without earning a single point, he, alongside the entire board of the RBSA, resigned after the last game. He was disgraced in the sport after the campaign, and, to this point, has never returned to top-level soccer.

2.Jan Cassallerus(San Llera): Hired before the start of the World Cup 74 Qualification Campaign, managed through the World Cup 77 Qualification Campaign. Overall Record of 27-32-16(W-L-D).

Banija put its eyes abroad, searching for a foreign manager before the World Cup 74 Qualification campaign, and found Jan Cassallerus. He is Banija's longest ever serving manager, being at the helm for four entire World Cup cycles, and being at the helm for 75 total games, a kind of longevity unheard of in the modern game, especially managing the national team. He started winning a game at the Coupe D'Esquarium, in what was known as the group of death. He was largely celebrated for bringing the team into relevancy. The expectations were through the floor, following Kizza Kabila, but he brought the team to Cup of Harmony 66 and Cup of Harmony 67, as well as advancing in Olympic Qualifying and getting third place at the United Valhaven Regional Football Championships. He was forced into retirement after the World Cup 77 Qualification campaign, when the RBSA declared bankruptcy, and could not participate in the World Cup 78 Qualification Campaign due to their inability to compensate players and staff.

3. Randolf Cherry(Drawkland): Hired before the start of the World Cup 79 Qualification Campaign. Overall Record of 20-25-2(W-L-D)

Randolf Cherry, after the RBSA got its act together, was hired- controversially- as the manager of the national team. Not that his own hire was controversial, it was applauded across the sports spectrum here at home. He was given a 3 cycle contract, and everyone knew what the goal was- to make the World Cup Finals at least once over the course of the contract. They understood that it would take time to climb the rankings, and they were willing to give him the leash. However, he came in a very awkward situation. Adama Sowe, the Chairman of the RBSA, allegedly first offered the job to Sarah Owens, out of the Equestrian States. Of course, it is illegal in Banija for women to coach men's professional teams, and that caused controversy. And yet, here he was- the manager of the national team.

His own home country of Drawkland is, of course, very progressive in that area, where the sport is dominated by the ladies. Regardless, he had an excellent start to his reign as a manger, and was initially extremely popular. He won his first game, in a special Eagles Club match, against Aggrey-Fynn Land. He lost his first few qualifiers, but he went on a dear through the middle of qualifying, which included a 7 game winning streak on home soil. Big wins against then 4th ranked Chromatika at home and then 32nd ranked Eshan, put them in the conversation of World Cup Qualification, though they were simply not strong enough.

The Cup of Harmony was considered a disaster, finishing in dead last in their group. The competition maybe simply isn't for the Banijans, eh? But they were strong throughout the offseason, making a surprising quarterfinal run in AOCAF LV and bringing high hopes to the squad going into World Cup 80 Qualification. Hopes were through the roof for the national team, maybe even bordering unrealistic. They struggled, and the campaign got worse as the pressure built, as the squad lost their final four qualifiers of the first half of qualifying. With the campaign seemingly in free-fall, he was fired, as the RBSA said they wanted time to conduct "an open, thorough, search."

4. Marcus Waters(Equestrian States): Hired after the 1st half of World Cup 80 Qualifying, present manager of the national team. Overall record of 10-1-3(W-L-D).

Marcus Waters was the national team's assistant manager with Randolf Cherry above him, and the manager of the youth national teams. He first gained notoreity in Banija after successfully leading the U21 team to a 3rd place finish at the 42nd Di Bradini Cup. With his abilities clear, it made sense to move onto him as the interim manager as they searched for a permanent manager ahead of the second half of World Cup Qualifying. However, he was able to complete a stunning turnaround of this team. His first game in charge, he changed nearly the entire backline, and had a massive upset, away to Qasden, by a score of 3-2. A 3-0 victory over Razenthuria in the other mid-qualifying friendly got high hopes for him.

Marcus Waters went out with an intent to keep his team focused, despite everything going on at home. He has proven adept at navigating the political minefield that is this job, especially with his own country of origin essentially at war with Banija. He didn't lose a single game in the second half of qualifying, winning 7 games to get to the playoffs, including when the team was forced to play home games in Montreal due to ongoing violence within Banija. He was widely applauded for getting the team ready to play in Montreal, and winning 1-0 against Turori, the group's top seeded squad, and a 3-0 win in Montreal in the Qualification playoffs. While the RBSA interviewed four other candidates, his successful push through the World Cup Qualification playoffs and into Banija's first-ever World Cup Finals essentially clinched the job for him, as he put pen to paper to take the interim tag off of his title ahead of the 80th World Cup Finals.

Stadium of the Restoration
Image
Capacity of 69,000, located in Busukuma, National Capitol Region

This is the national stadium. Multiple national teams, including gridiron football and the national soccer team, make their regular home at this stadium. The stadium has located various international events- including, but not limited to, the 67th Baptism of Fire Final, the 67th Globe Cup Final, and the 34th World Bowl Final. After the team did a tour of Banija in World Cup 79 Qualifying, using six different stadiums as home stadiums, the national team will go back to its tradition- playing all of the games at the national stadium.

The Stadium of the Restoration gets its name from the site it is built on. It is the site where the Banijan Monarchy was declared 'restored' after the first Quebecois Colonization, nearly 200 years ago. This sparked Banija's first independence and subsequent extremely bloody civil war, which resulted in the beheading of the Monarch by members of a rival tribe, and lead to the recolonization of Banija, to prevent what was likely to be ethnic cleansing from occurring in the country.

Select Player Biographies

1. Goalkeeper Delbin Kasekende

Delbin Kasekende is the longtime starting goalkeeper for the Kadongo Kamu. The veteran goalkeeper has won back-to-back gold glove campaigns with Herzegovina City FC, including captaining Herzegovina City FC to an undefeated season in their Season Six title run. He toiled a long time for Dukuma SC, his hometown and boyhood club. He is a native of Dukuma, Busoga Islands. They are traditionally one of the worst teams in Banija. Two seasons ago, he began switching to Herzegovina City FC to chase after a much-deserved title he clearly wasn't winning in Banija, and did so.

His focus is all on one purpose now- qualifying for the World Cup Finals. He is Banija's undisputed #1 in the backstop- easily the country's best goalkeeper, and the only reason he will miss a game is because of suspension or injury. He is a demographic anamoly on this team- he very politically active at home, and is one of three players on this team who is not Puritan Mormon, Banija's dominant religion. Himself, Elijah Riga, and Nega Bazin are all Shia Muslim, which makes sense, considering they are all from the Busoga Islands. He has said himself, however, that this year is 'Banija's year'.

2. CAM Kiggwe Mavuto

What can we say about Banija's most decorated international player? In what is likely to be his final run with the Banijan national team, Kiggwe Mavuto has scored 31 career goals for the Kadongo Kamu- easily the record holder for any player. He has always been hardworking, and therefore has been a popular figure among Banijans. He plied his trade in Abaja for many years, before moving to Dunnes to play a season for Armory FC in the Dunnes Football League Championship.

He has finally gotten his hands on what he's coveted most- the ability to wear the captain's armband. And in a year where Banija is regarded as a dark horse contender to actually qualify for the World Cup Finals, he will leave everything on the field to do whatever it takes to take the national team to the next level. He is slowing down with his age and mileage, and therefore will not necessarily be able to go 90 minutes on a match by match basis- but he is the team's heart and soul. He's lost speed with his age, but his smarts and ability to work referees are seen as irreplaceable assets for the squad trying to write themselves into Banija's history books.

3. RW Chibuzo Afolayan

Where do we start with Chibuzo Afolayan? He holds the transfer record for any Banijan- selling a few windows ago for $5.5 million NSDs to AFC Corvistone. And, for those who follow the league, that sale is one that Askatasuna FC, even with all those riches, has forgotten ever since. Why? Well, for their two seasons with Afolayan, they were competing for the top 4 and even won a RBSA Cup. But since they sold him? He has helped AFC Corvistone finish their miraculous rise up the Nepharim pyramid, and achieve their first-ever promotion to the Nepharim Premiership, where they finished as a solid mid-table side.

The winger holds the unique title of the only Banijan to ever play in a top 5 league- playing a season in the Nepharim Premiership as a starter, in the physically demanding Nepharim Premiership, currently ranked as the world's top league. His spot in that league naturally lends pressure to him to preform for the national team, especially in big moments. This is his time- with Mavuto receding and Kahara still young, he is in his prime, and will be expected to take the reigns of the attack. It remains to be seen, when he is the focal point of the offense, whether he can step up and preform.

4. ST Toyuwa Okafor

Toyuwa Okafor won the fierce, three-way battle for the right to wear the #9 jersey for the national team throughout World Cup 79 Qualifying. He split time with Nega Bazin and Matthias Muhumuza throughout that campaign, with each man competing for their chance to start for the national team. It can be said that Okafor clearly won the battle- Muhumuza ended up retiring from the national team and joining the Whitetail Rangers in the Equestrian States, while Nega Bazin ended up joining the Chenoworth Rovers in the Nepharim First Division, where a loss on the final day saw them miss out on promotion to the Nepharim Premiership.

This time around, Okafor goes into the World Cup Finals with a different competitor behind him- Assefa Yitebarke. While you'd assume Okafor would have a grip on this spot, he is not written on the team sheet in pen. Yitebarke had an excellent pair of seasons in the Banijan Soccer League. While Okafor plied his trade for the Lorentine Lions, they got relegated from the Chromatik Premier League- and Okafor did not have the greatest season over there. Of course, that league is much tougher than the BSL, but still- if those struggles carry over to the BSL, expect more than a few fans to clamor for Yitebarke to start instead.

5. LW Gitonga Kahara

His first ever start for the Kadongo Kamu will be in World Cup Qualifying? That tells you everything you need to know about the Boy Wonder's meteoric rise through Banijan soccer. He has been given lots of nicknames- the Boy Wonder, Banija's Football Savior, the Deliverer, etc... And he has never played a professional game on Banijan soil. When he was just 16 years old, he moved to Project Olimpo in Kita-Hinode, and starred in their youth league, one of the world's best. Project Olimpo won a league title, and Gitonga Kahara was the star of the team, winning the Golden Boot that season. He then, of course, went to the U21 World Cup as the player everybody had their eyes on- was he the real deal?

The answer was an emphatic yes. Gitonga Kahara, and the team in general, simply could not stop scoring in Valanora. He scored a stunning 10 goals at the Di Bradini Cup- taking the tournament by storm, and being not only the best player on the pitch for the Banijans, but arguably the best player on the pitch at the tournament in general. His value, and name, exploded on the international scene. Randolf Cherry, much to the chagrin of Project Olimpo officials, was pushing him to leave before the window- see what he'd do in a top-flight league, while his value was high with the memory of the Di Bradini Cup fresh. Of course, during the window, he'd be able to probably get a better deal. But the fact of the matter was this- a move was better for his immediate career prospects, even if it was a serious question mark for his long-term career prospects.

He went to Polaris, in the Terranean League East. He helped lead his team earn the Pablito Numede Trophy, and, with a third place finish, finish with a berth in the Champions Cup. He looks likely to be a star in that league for a long, long time to come. Here's the question- can he replicate his form for the national team? He has answered the bell so far, excelling at every point in his career, from Project Olimpo, to the Vijana Kadongo Kamu, to Polaris. The pressure will be high for him to bring that kind of form to his national team performances, and Randolf Cherry will hope that the confidence he is showing in him- already naming him a starter before he's ever put on the shirt- will play positively.

Legend had it that a team of plucky Sunrisians conquered the world twice, impressing bystanders and shutting down nay-sayers. This isn't a tale of equal standing, but rather, the story of how the distant grandchildren of those men and women came in town, decked in the closest to a set of royal colours possible with the wish to do them better.

HOME STADIUM
Tentai National Stadium
Capacity: 67,150 - Tentai City, Tentai - Tenants: Tentai Astros

Recently built under rule by the Hinodejin Imperial Court, this state of the art venue was built to host games of upcoming team Tentai Astros, but more important than that, to host the national team's games at the new capital of the Empire. It's also supposed to represent part of the renovation process spearheaded by the current queen towards this city, once a capital of one of the fiercest enemies of the empire, now acting as one of the jewels of her crown.

RP PERMISSIONS
As you might've noticed, two of these players aren't human. Just wanted to point out they're still fairly close to being human, just in case and a brief search will give you a good idea of what they look like. Please don't kill the players. Injuries for large stretches of time have to be informed by telegram, or else they'll get the ignore cannon treatment. Anything else (bar anything that destroys any city of the empire or its' people, just in case anyone gets a bit too creative) is fine by me.

FILINDOSTAN
National Football Team
World Cup 80 Qualifiers

The Filindostan Football Federation is pleased to present the Filindostan National football team, to compete in the qualifying process for the 80th World Cup to be hosted in Starblaydia and Equestrian States. The 66th Baptism of Fire champions had almost added a second trophy on their cabinet, but were prevented from doing so by the Hinodejins, losing 4-5 in a dreaded penalty shootout. However, the Pula Garudas showed a strong performance in the tournament, having almost a perfect tournament, winning nine of ten games, including twice over former regional champions Buyan, and payback wins over Tumbra and Mattijana, two teams the Filindostani lost to at the previous Campionato.

Last edition's qualifying campaign saw the Filindostanis narrowly missing qualification at the last matchday, and with three teams participating in the last World Cup finals in their group, it will look very tough for the Pula Garudas to make it through the qualification process this time around.

About the Filindostan Football Federation

The Filindostan Football Federation (FFF) was founded after they split from the Filindostani National Sports Commission (FNSC), citing the FNSC's tainted image during the Multiverse Boxing.ccanization boxing tournament and the budget cut the agency suffered. The newly-established federation caters to the nation's footballing affairs and sanctions the selection of the senior, under-21 and under-15 squads. The FNSC will remain the agency for fielding other national football teams that are not sanctioned by the FFF.

The FFF's headquarters are located in San Marco, Filindostan, and is headed by Estrelitta "Estie" Barzagia.

Playing Squad

In Filindostan, people are often called by their nickname. Some players opt to put their nickname instead of the customary last name in their kits. The shirt names for the squad are noted by ALL CAPS. So for example, Alexander Jampang's shirt name in his kit is ALEX JAMPANG. Likewise Antonio Rafael Vera will have his kit name as TONYO.

The following players are called up into the national team for the tournament.

Goalkeepers

1 | GK | Gerry Nafari "GERRY" Nasution | M | 28 | Image Perokojak Kota Jakulta
32 | GK | ABRAM Jampang | M | 28 | Image Venividicci
91 | GK | Antonio Rafael "TONYO" Vera | M | 22 | Image Fortunas

Gerry is the most experienced of the goalkeeper pool and will most likely get the starting nod in the opening game for the Pula Garuda. Should he have a dip in form or concede too many goals for Willy's liking or should they face a low-ranked team, it will most likely be Abram who will take the reins. Albeit with cat-like reflexes, his ball delivery needs improvement and might most likely to allow opposing strikers to intercept the deliveries he make. Tonyo, being the youngest keeper, is good at reading the game, however, his lack of command to his defenders, unless your defender is the Empress herself, has undermined his reputation at times.

Left/Rightbacks

2 | LB | Eliza Maria Milagros "MILA" KHALIFA | F | 27 | Image Venividicci
3 | LCB | CASIMIR Likumahuwa | M | 25 | Image Fortunas
17 | RB | Leona Stella Marie "LEOMARIE" Ipac | F | 25 | Image Fortunas
68 | RB | Remus Graci "GRACI" Tessin | M | 22 | Image Venividicci

Mila Khalifa proved that she can be a reliable left back during her stint in Venividicci and the national team. She can cover flanks quickly and can provide much needed wing support when the left winger runs deep at left flank. Casimir showed in the BoF that he is a serviceable left back, and his capability to play centerback in makeshift situations proves to be a plus for him. Graci has the pace to be a wingback, though he has not seen much time in the Pula Garuda shirt. Leomarie returns to the national team after an impressive outing with Fortunas domestically last season. Enzo's sending off at the Cup of Harmony meant that that was his last international match for the Pula Garudas, as he announced his international retirement two months after the tournament ended.

Centerbacks

4 | CB | Dina Nadya "DINA" SATYAWAN | F | 31 | Image Fortunas
5 | CB | Alexander "ALEX" JAMPANG | M | 30 | Image Perouno Bandarito
27 | CB | KARTIO Weici | F | 20 | Image Tivali City
88 | CB | Jeferson Martin "BUKNOY" Salcedo | M | 23 | Image Perotres Bandaroon

The "Filindostani Empress of Defense", captain and oldest player in the team, Dina Satyawan, will lead the centerbacks in the tournament. She will be partnered however not by Buknoy, but with experienced centerback Alex Jampang. Buknoy, which the Filindostani media has declared the weakest link of the team the last tournament they entered, will be backing up the two instead with promising youngster Kartio. Dina Satyawan has been very good at defense this season for Fortunas, and while she picks up yellow cards now and then (due to professional fouls), she's been making up with it with crucial game-saving tackles. Alex Jampang is one big stud, a key factor for centerbacks fighting for headers and joustling for ball possession. His headers are on point and sometimes very unpredictable - one time he can put deceiving spins in glancing headers, other times, he can drill the ball to the goal. His weakness is handling quick strikers due to his height and build. Buknoy lacked what Alex Jampang can provide - but during his stint with Perotres, he can read the movements of the opposing player and make quick decisions about them. Nothing is noteworthy for Kartio at the moment, except that she has Under-21 experience, playing in the Di Bradini Cup for the young Pula Garuda, where some of her weaknesses were exposed - she didn't see much action in the tournament due to Willy preferring experienced players. She did make her first senior cap though against Northwest kalactin, after replacing Alex Jampang due to a caution.

Left/Right Midfielders

48 | RM | Morty Muriel "MMM" Mescano | M | 22 | Image Perouno Bandarito
44 | LCM | DAMARIS Cambo | M | 24 | Image Eastern Stars
71 | RM | Donna Morielle "DOMO" Delos Santos-Strauss | F | 30 | Image Fortunas
39 | LM | ZEMIRA ZAI | F | 32 | Image Fortunas

Domo retains her starting position and will provide dangerous crosses and corners whenever possible. For sure, she'll be a marked player for the team. Damaris has proved that he can be a good left winger, delivering loads of dangerous crosses in the midfield. One challenge though for the right midfielders is how will they cope with defending when Enzo or Graci perform the overlap and sometimes overextend. MMM solves that problem, with his pace and defending, he'll sure be a lynchpin for the aging right midfielder. Zemira Zai was a surprise inclusion in Willy's lineup, despite not playing much time in the qualifiers. She'll not be used much, as Willy prefers to mix it up and put Mila Khalifa in the left midfield position in some tricks in his playbook.

Central Midfielders

22 | CM | His Excellency "KING" Tisang | M | 27 | Image New Llama Capitals
28 | CM | Muhammad "MOHD" SAFRI | M | 21 | Image Venividicci
43 | CM | SIHARTO | M | 24 | Image Perotres Bandaroon
10 | CM | Manny Jacob Lou "YAKOB" Rivas | M | 25 | Image Tout-Puissant Outremont

King is a genius when taking set pieces and his passing has improved as the season goes along. His only downside? His short temper. He was banned two FFL games after a verbal spat with a referee for a non-call during a league match. He was sent off and banned fifteen competitive matches during Filindostan's win over Northwest kalactin. Mohd Safri will now have to play without depending on King for the first thirteen matches. He is good on his own though, reads opponents' movements quickly, and is like a sticker to the ball - he rarely loses it. Siharto meanwhile, is a serviceable power sub at central midfield. He is also inserted in case of a 4-5-1 or 3-5-2 formations. Manyakol is a sleek penalty taker and can run very fast in the center of the midfield. His weaknesses are his temper and can irritate most of the female players due to his sly behaviour off the pitch.

Forwards

9 | FW | Boris Choel "BOCHOG" San Lupe | M | 23 | Image Fortunas
99 | FW | FIZZY Ramdani | F | 29 | Image Fortunas
55 | FW | BIENVENIDO Arespacochaga | M | 24 | Image Perokojak Kota Jakulta
19 | FW | Marish Luzanie "YISH" Sta. Lucia | F | 24 | Image Anomalies Football Club

Bochog had less-than-spectacular in the solo forward role for Pula Garuda in their matches, he now takes the support striker role to feed the balls to Bienvenido and help put rebounds to the back of the net. The attacking forward role will now go to Bienvenido, who torched defenses while playing in Perokojak Kota Jakulta. He will be a target man, and he's equipped with a powerful left foot. Yish grabbed many goals during the BoF and World Cup qualifying campaigns, and will most likely partner Bienvenido or Bochog in the starting lineup. Fizzy returned to the team after declining her call-up for the Baptism of Fire. She'll most likely not start all matches due to a rumored spat with Vicky during one of the trainings, probably the main reason she declined the call-up.

Play Style
Image
Style Modifier: +2.201
The play style of the team is of a more attacking lineup, looking to score more goal scoring opportunities. The team usually utilize pacey wingers to deliver dangerous balls to the penalty box, usually during coordinated attacks.

Filindostani players are usually physical, especially defenders like Alex Jampang, and left midfielder Ryan, as he is a former member of the Filindostani Army. Cautions are mostly common due to their physical plays.

Home Stadiums

Filindostan National Stadium
Location: San Marco, Kabishawan, Filindostan
Capacity: 70,000
Details: The national stadium of Filindostan. Built on the former site of the Kabishawan Islandic Stadium, the state of the art facility with the latest amenities will be the new home of Filindostani football, as the ground will host the team's high profile matches, as well as the Filindostan Cup finals and UCAAF finals. The first match in the stadium saw the Mercedini Under-18 team win in penalties against the Gallian Union Under-18 in the SWC4 final.

Kits
Image

Local kit supplier, No Nonsense, provides the kits for the Pula Garuda. The kits will be used until the World Cup 81 season. The home kits are clad in red and are usually paired with black shorts and white socks. For color clashes in shorts and socks, they use their all red kit. Their alternate kit is white, usually with red shorts and socks, but can be black shorts and white socks in case of color clashes. The goalie kit is all black (or in black shorts and socks), but in case of color clashes, a yellow version of the GK kit is available.

The below information will help teams RP against my team in case they RP first.

Fans
Filindostani fans are double-edged swords - sometimes they are most passionate fans in Filindostan, sometimes, they can be compared to the worst of internet trolls. Around five thousand diehard fans will travel to the host nation to watch their team play - but they usually bring their megaphones and flares with them - they somehow make it past the guards. Some fans are crazy enough to invade the pitch and cause match delays.

This is the national stadium of the country. The fans here are known for their rowdiness and their dedication to the national team. The country is a very cold country, so it will often snow, so gloves and hats are traditionally provided to visiting teams. Fans have been known to be violent inside the stadium, and heavy security is granted to visiting sides who come to Zion. That said, the Silverian national team isn't actually that good on the pitch, but the Silverian Soccer Association 'expects' to have to play at least one game behind closed doors this season.

Official World Cup 80 Qualifications Squad

Post-revamp, South Toronto has managed to secure a Round Of 16 spot in the Cup of Harmony, before being thrashed 3-0 by Soltsteed, who went on to feature in the final. At the IAC, we again secured a Round Of 16 spot, before being dumped out 2-1 yet again by the Free Republics. At the STIC, (South Toronto's first hosted tournament inviting nations) we were beaten 4-3 on penalties to former unranked side The Frozen Forest(who lost to eventual STIC AND BoF winners Beepee) in the semi-finals but secured third-place through an unlikely 1-0 win over Qasden, who at the time was ranked 27th in the world. A reoccurring theme is that we can get out of the group stage easily, but collapse as soon as we reach the Round Of 16. However, a number of young players shone in the STIC and have taken the places of more experienced players. New manager Kelechi Kralacon took over as head coach of the South Toronton National Football Team as Axel Salzer Lenzi resigned due to health issues. Standards are relatively low, as many fans expect a 99th ranked side to only place around 5th-6th in the group.

Manager: Kelechi Kralacon

Kelechi is a relatively young manager, being 39 and having finished his professional career only three years ago. He was an LB in his playing career and won 13 trophies with club Crasi Tho’um Fireko. He went on to manage Port Decca FC before being targeted by the STFA. Kelechi likes to play a deep defensive line, and then counter-attack. Many pundits such as James Pillock and Saarn Dwaite claim the players will have a hard time adapting to the new style of play, and that Under-18 Head Coach Marko Selacratze would've been a better pick. Only time will tell how well Kelechi does in the World Cup 80 Qualifiers.

Nickname: Iscantan Mereadas Zeradadas
Many foreign people outside South Toronto would be confused at the choice of our national team nickname, as outsiders often see it as three words of unknown meaning but this is well understood throughout all of South Toronto as it is in the language of the Exzapanusi tribe. The Exzapanusi people usually reside on the Island of Anthiarte, where they live their lives in peace. The Exzapanusi tribe language(Exzapa) is mandatory in all school curriculums, as a rule in South Toronto requires that all students must be fluent in 3 or more languages in an attempt to establish more trade with other countries. The English translation of 'Iscantan Mereadas Zeradadas' is 'The Eternal Blazing Phoenixes' but the Exzapa version sounds so much more mysterious and fearful than the English version so the national team adopted the Exzapa version.

Style Mod: +1.5

Tourists In South Toronto:
South Toronto is by multi-universal standards, a very advanced country known for its economy. Our economy is so good, some would say it is frightening. The economy is mainly driven by the industries of Arms Manufacturing, Retail, and Tourism. Currently, the president of South Toronto is Trey Deyvon Woods, who saved South Toronto from political and civil rights turmoil during a civil war in which former dictator Tobi Obirito ignited. . In South Toronto, students from as young as 6 and university students receive mandatory sex education and Exzapa is spoken widely across the country, only behind English in the number of fluent speakers in different languages.Citizens of the same sex are allowed to marry, and South Toronto has laws protecting members of the LGBTQ+ community. As a caution to tourists, there are AI beings who WILL be recognised as legal citizens., and failure to do so will result in a fine or even jail.

It is recommended tourists bring cow testicles as the Phoenix, the national animal of South Toronto, consider them a delicacy. Phoenixes travel in families, like us human beings, so don't touch their children or you'll be going home with a scorched arse. Phoenixes do breathe fire, but only when they feel threatened, so the best thing to do is to approach cautiously and either take a picture, feed it cow testicles, or pet/stroke it. You'll find them in parks or national parks. Harm or kill our Phoenixes and it will result in a minimum of 15-25 years or even life in prison. This is because South Toronto is run mainly on nuclear power, and phoenixes flock to the nuclear power plants where it's warmer, and they consume all the pollution. A phoenix can support an entire city a people, so it's good to have plenty of them. There are zoos with dinosaurs and other extinct animals, for scientific research into how and why certain species lived longer than others. Only Utahraptors can roam freely in the wild but have been genetically modified to have less sharp claws and teeth and to be more intelligent. You can pay 50 raicyans(or $91) to go on a 1-day safari to a national park since only authorised officials can enter the park without payment. Those who attempt to get in for free won't be punished if they are brutally attacked by the Utahraptors, because if you survive more than 5 minutes with that, you deserve to be South Toronton. For other unlucky intruders, the Utahraptors will enjoy hunting you down and eating you alive, it's like a sport them with a win-win situation if they get you. Stay out of trouble and they'll be no issues.

Thanks to a well-funded police force, crime is almost totally unknown to South Toronto. However, some crime still happens, particularly towards the western states. Trapsan is a city within the state of Hoodlum, which is a state notorious throughout South Toronto for being a crime hotspot state. In fact, just over 73.39% of crime in South Toronto is in this state, though tourists do not need to worry. A tremendous amount of police forces will be patrolling around Trapsan when a matchday happens to reduce any further crime. It is advised tourists bring any item that can be used for self-defence such as guns, (Only handguns, pistols, and hunting rifles are permitted, to ensure mass shootings are highly unlikely and kill the absolute minimum amount of people) army knives, pepper spray, and low voltage stun guns.

If you are not armed then call the national South Toronto police number of 422, police tend to patrol local neighbourhoods and most likely will be there in 3-8 minutes. Go inside a supermarket if available, however, if you are in the middle of nowhere, strip naked (yes, we know this may sound weird but an old law made in the year of 1998 states that a fully nude person cannot be touched or harmed in any way due to Exzapa tradition. This then shows the attacker that you acknowledge Exzapan culture which would trick the attacker into thinking you are from South Toronto. When the criminal is gone, put on your clothes and report the incident. It is advised tourists take the cable car system, to stay away from the feared Broksenvale Neighbourhoods as the only way to get to Blood's End on foot is through those, which are rife with crime.

Stadium: Blood's End

Image

Blood's End, capcity of 93,323.

Blood's End replaced Cilimintaro-Killerich Memorial Ground, formally Anthian Bridge, as the new national stadium of South Toronto. This was a risky move by the FA but the STIC brought in a tremendous amount of money, especially in the final in which it generated 903,000,000 raicyans($1,692,600,000) and this was due to Blood's End fantastic views over the city thanks to the cable cars in which many away fans travelled on. Blood's End has a thundering atmosphere and South Toronton fans sing Exzapa songs.

Kits:
Image

OOC: Shout out to Filindostan for hooking me up with these certi kits.If you need any kits or logos you can request them from the MVP herehere.

Formation: 5-2-3

Starting Lineup:

GK: Asmeh Asamoah Ondoa (Age 18) Asmeh is one of the few players who have consistently performed against any team, whether they are ranked 1st or 200th. Asmeh has improved on his decision making, which previously cost the Iscantan Mereadas Zeradadas many late conceded goals. With lightning quick reactions and an 8ft arm span, only the most elite finishers can crack one from long range, and those close will find the ball being flung away from them. Composure is Asmeh's weakness, although he has an extremely long playing career ahead of him and will probably be number 1 for the next 10-15 years.

RWB: Jacky Han (Age 19) A very flexible and pacey wing-back, Jacky will put his body on the line to ensure his team does not concede a goal. His lightning speed reactions ensure he times his tackles to almost near perfection and a combination of pace and strength means he will catch up with the fastest of attackers and shrug them off the ball with ease. He is coincidentally Ni Ling Son's cousin, showing football ability does run in the family. However, his short passing is laughable, which would render him useless if he wasn't so good defensively. Jacky can also play CB, LWB, CDM, and RM, and has enough pace and decent crossing to potentially be an RW, although he'd need to work on his short passing to be able to play there.

CB: Bryan Penelope (Age 19) Bryan is very physical and uses his absurd amount of strength to retrieve the ball. At 6'5", Bryan towers above most opponents and is usually the first one in both boxes to appear for a cheeky header or to defend his team. Bryan is often quite aggressive when pursuing the ball, giving away fouls in the worst positions possible which has led to many goals from set pieces. Bryan is working on controlling his anger through many therapy sessions and will be a force to reckon with in the future when he gets his anger under control.

CB: Devante Marie Tiberius (Age 18) He was the son of the former leader of South Toronto Tiberius Prombase before he was executed in a military coup. Devante is the best long passer and shooter on the team, being able to lob the ball from one end of the pitch to the other. He also takes the longer freekicks from 35-40 yards, and occasionally the shorter ones. He is very fast for a CB and could almost be placed in CM for his passing and shooting. Devante is weaker than the other defenders physically but is more consistent with tackling and almost never commits fouls.

CB: Jamal Seruku (Age 19) A product of the revamp of the footballing system, Jamal is always consistent tackling and passing, and is surprisingly the team's penalty taker. However, Jamal heading accuracy is disgraceful, and being 6'3", it's baffling as to why his heading is so poor. Perhaps an experience in his childhood scarred him and subsequently led to him being bad at heading. He also is the most aggressive player on the team, and every 4 games he recieves 2 bookings (Stat recorded in the STP'L). Like Bryan Penelope and Jovante Willock, Jamal takes therapy and anger-management classes to calm him down.

LB: Paul Makanjoko (Age 19) Paul has time and time again proved critics wrong with mesmerising dribbling skills and exceptional crossing. Being capped at only 17 shows how good he really is. Insane dribbling skills leave defenders slipping and sliding all over the place, and whips it into the box to assist a teammate. However, Paul is only 5'4" meaning he gets pushed around easily by attackers and makes him almost useless in the box. At this rate, he can expect to play for 15+ years with excellent stamina. Only time will tell how well he does.

RCM: Ni Ling Son(Age 22) Son of legendary player Yung Ki Son, Ni Ling has been under a lot of pressure by the media to emulate and surpass his father's success. Ni Ling Son is very close to surpassing his father at his age, although he has a long way to go.Ni Ling is the glue that holds the team together and is one of the most versatile players in South Toronto being able to play LB, CB, CM, CDM, LM, CAM LW, ST, showing how balanced his skills are from defending to passing, to shooting and dribbling. He is more of a defensive midfielder and is almost the opposite of Michal Bergman. However, Ni Ling is the second smallest player in the team, being only 5'6" which means he can't play CB without a stronger, taller partner. But his curse is a blessing at the same time because he can dribble through an entire team as if they weren't there.

LAM: Michal Bergman(Captain) (Age 22) One of the best players currently on the team, Michal is almost the complete forward being able to dribble, pass, take set pieces and longshots. He shows amazing leadership skills and him and Ni Ling are the ultimate midfield partnership with the perfect contrast between defensive skills, shooting, dribbling and overall intelligence. However, an occurring theme of lack of strength and other physical aspects is displayed throughout the midfield, though they are still a formidable force. Bergman can also head the ball very well, being 5'11" and would be able to play as an ST.

RW: DeAndre Kiese-Thelin(Age 20) Kiese Thelin was converted to RW from LB because he wasn't keeping up with defensive capabilities. He also scored 7 goals in the WC79 Qualifiers, joint highest with Jozy Dembele. Known for blistering pace, he uses his pace and dribbling skills to outwit defenders and slide it into the goal. Kiese is perfect at manipulating the officials into gaining an advantage for the team and has been seen diving on several occasions. Because he is so weak physically, most of the time a free kick or a penalty is rewarded as officials generally believe he didn't dive. He has been booked and even sent off in games after the STFA introduced an instant yellow or red for diving.

ST: Jozy Dembele(Vice-Captain) (Age 19) Proving his worth, Jozy has performed consistently at a high level. A phenomenal dribbler, He is calm on the ball and doesn't rush into any decisions unless there is a good chance of scoring and is vice-captain for his determination and willingness to improve. He is as quick as a cheetah and has a huge frame at 6'4" disproving the myth that taller players are target men and aren't great dribblers. However, Jozy has stamina issues and can't be used in consecutive games.

LW: Tyrese Townsend (Age 18) Tyrese was scouted by the national team while playing in a juvenile detention centre. The scout, Mohamed Tawfiq, saw Tyrese's dribbling and pace as something needed in the Iscantan Mereadas Zeradadas and offered him a trial at the next training session as soon as he was released. He was signed up by club Frostveil City and put in a number of excellent performances, scoring 19 goals in the first half of the season to earn a call-up. Tyrese is a very skilful player and is a brilliant finisher with an almost trademark finesse shot into the bottom corner. Tyrese can play in all attacking positions, outpaces defenders to cut inside and either take that trademark finesse shot or drill it to another teammate in the box.

Image

Substitutes:

GK: Juan Estaban de Mites (Age 23) Juan has been knighted for taking a bullet for President Trey Deyvon Woods, losing his ring finger on his left hand in the process. This didn't stop him from featuring in the STIC, and he kept 2 clean sheets during that tournament. Juan is very confident in himself, even attempting to beat pressing attackers and has succeeded countless times. Juan often concedes goals due to poor positioning, but 'keepers have longer playing careers than outfield players, so he'll have plenty of time to improve.

CM: Germanpreet Sachadev (Age 19) Germanpreet chose to only show his first name and surname as it would've been easier for commentators to pronounce his name. Germanpreet is the ultimate super sub and is the most likely to come off the bench and score a late equaliser. Germanpreet displayed a number of good performances during the World Cup 79 Qualifiers coming off the bench and scoring twice. A thundering left foot can catch the most experienced keepers by surprise and is arguably the best long shot taker in the team after Michal Bergman. However, he is not very skilful on the ball and can lose possession when under pressure. He was chosen over Owen Wright by former manager Axel Salzer Lenzi because of excellent performances compared to subpar performances by Owen Wright.

ST: Trevon Eliezer (Age 19) Trevon was seen playing at a charity game and was subsequently snapped up by mid-table club Brimber Volcanoes. Known for his skilfulness and ability to get out of tricky situations, Trevon proved he could become world class if he put enough dedication into it. His right footedness is seen as rare in South Toronto, as 65% of players playing in the first division were left-footed, meaning he can bang a shot from the halfway line and somehow they would go in. Trevon has anger issues from a rough childhood and is often booked for retaliation on defenders when they foul him. Trevon's form was too inconsistent and was placed in the STIC squad, but stepped up with a number of good performances.

LWB: Jeremy St.Jose (Age 20) St.Jose is a versatile LB, being able to play all positions in defence, LM, LW, and CDM. Naturally, he is a quick and agile player but lacks the ability to cross the ball effectively. He is a good longshot taker, even having a crack at 45-55 yards.Jeremy came through the ranks of Islami Cocuron FC, based in Aredia, where he shone during the 31/32 season in which he won the league cup. St.Jose is looking to break into the starting lineup but must improve greatly in order to achieve that.

LW: Artjorm Petrov (Age 19) Artjorm came up when he was scouted by the national team when he was playing for Under-20s club Crituras Azures. Axel himself came to the game to assemble a squad ahead of the CoH. Axel was impressed and asked Artjorm to come train with the national team. Being able to play RW and ST as well as LW shows he is a versatile attacking player and is efficient and effective when playing. Artjorm is what some people may say a 'showboat' and tricks defenders, making them look foolish and sending them to the hospital for broken ankles. Artjorm is a very comedic player and often dramatizes situations resulting in a straight red for him.

CM: Kevin Yahaya (Age 20) Kevin is good at longshots and mediocre at everything else. Many people speculate he does voodoo, juju, or some type of black magic as he can persuade referees to give away penalties even when a player has blatantly dived. A saying about him is: " Black Magic Is Superior To Any Magic". Don't be surprised to see levitating balls and players, this is the work of Kevin.

CB: Javonte Willock (Age 19) A new addition to the side, Javonte is the classic centre-back. He shrugs the attacker off the ball with ease to showcase his absurd strength. He is unbelievably tall at 6'8" and surprisingly is amazing at long passing. He is also the most likely to score a header during a counter attack, but he has problems with his aggression, much like Bryan Penelope and Jamal Seruku. He is also absolutelyshit at dribbling, and is virtually useless in any other position.

Reserves:

RWB: Ashley Awako(Age 20) He is more suited at CAM, but plays RB simply because he can defend more consistently at RB while using his dribbling. He is an amazing athlete and uses that to his advantage when defending. That being said, he isn't a good crosser or long passer, which is disappointing. He is an 'relative' of Kevin Yahaya, could he do black magic too?

CB: John Bakayoko(Age 21)Played in the last World Cup campaign as a CDM but was also converted to a CB by Axel. His aggression and determination puts off attackers, and his thundering long shots are troublesome for even the best keepers. However, his aggression is a strength and a weakness, as he is often booked for his tackles and other challenges. John has had a long absence from the national team, not appearing for the Iscantan Mereadas Zeradadas since the World Cup 79 Qualifications. He has redeemed himself through good performances for the STIC.

CB: Jay-Jay Rerin (Age 22) Directly Exzapan, Rerin is an all-around solid CB, with no real strengths or weaknesses. He played decently well in the STIC but is definitely the least experienced and arguably the worst defender in the team. He has potential links with a rouge Exzapanusi gang, though very unlikely.

RW: Harris Imani (Age 1) Like Tyrese Townsend, Harris was scouted by the national team for his pace and close range shooting while playing in a juvenile detention centre. His shot power is dangerously overpowered, launching like a missile towards the goal, and when he has scored, holes can often be found in the nets of away teams. However, many claim Harris is a 'ball hog' as he is often selfish. He experiences ankle pain since his broken ankle eight weeks ago, so it was a risky move by Kelechi to select him. But he still is a quality player on his day, but it depends which day.

GK: Troi Esclaves (Age 19) He is exceptional at handling and positioning, catching the hardest shots with ease and intimidating players with his presence leading them to miss due to lack of concentration. Troi was previously clinically obese, but thanks to the government promoting a healthier lifestyle, he lost 45kg of weight leaving him to be 75kg.But, Troi suffers from anxiety which makes him more critical of himself and sometimes doubts his abilities. Troi is also decent at penalties, which is helpful if it comes down to that situation.

2nd place finish in BoF 66. There's more to come! Hopefully..
Your young don from Southwest London and I bang out 410, AM Skengdo, 1011 and a host of UK drill artists. You probably thought I was Canadian 'cause of my nation's name and flag, but I am actually Ugandan and I live in London.
Hosted the inaugural STIC, and a domestic newswire up and running. They will be a few more soon...
And remember guys, Toronton is Singular, South Toronton is an Adjective, and Torontons is Plural! Also, the USST is an abbreviation of Unified Socialist States of South Toronto, and apart from marijuana and abortion being legal, and our environmental policies, in no way does this nation reflect my RL views.

Starting Lineup, Formation, and Tactics:

Image

Despite the successful Copa Rushmori 29 campaign that saw Valladares win its second regional title was based on a 4-3-1-2 formation, for this World Cup Paulo Oliveira has decided to revert to the traditional 3-2-2-3 (or 3-4-3 for general reference) formation, which can turn into either a very aggressive yet non-conventional 3-2-5 for attacking or a 5-4-1 (a 3-6-1, even) when the team feel the need to enter into a defensive mode. La Nacional will always be looking to attack and retain ball possession for as long as possible, trying to score many goals in the shortest possible time and mounting an insurmountable lead for the second half of the match when players from both teams start showing signs of fatigue. This squad mostly relies on the speed of both Abel Brücke and Angelo Farías on the wings both in attack and in defense modes, with Michael Jiménez and Gaëtan Malicki now playing the role of defensive midfielders that was well covered by Jonathan Bosetti and Pedro Pedretti in previous years: both should be able to retreat to the defensive line with ease whenever the team lose ball possession in order to form a line of 5 defenders, thus giving rival forwards a very hard time when trying to break through the Valladar defense. Wilfried Baume, Andy Navarro, and Adam Pinto will be playing together up front for the very first time, but they are well prepared under the premises of the typical Valladar forward: very speedy and talented, with the ability to seemingly harmless crosses into goals, create chances and score goals out of nothing, and kill defenses with speed and lethal counterattacks.

Manager: Avarn-Oxolt Ban (66 y.o.)
Style Modifier: -2
Previous National Team Record: None

The Qusma National Team will be competing for the first time, either in a friendly or competitively, on Match Day 1 against 256th-ranked Wolves Clans to kick off Group 11 action.

Some helpful notes on culture when you're planning your stay in Qusmo:
The name of the nation is Qusmo, but the name of something from Qusmo is Qusma, the name of someone from Qusmo is Qusmi, & the name of the language from Qusmo is Qusmu. When referring to Qusmu'y (the proper plural of the people of Qusmo in Qusmu), note that the "first" name - the one with two hyphenated five-letter names - is the family name. The "second" name - the one with a single three-letter name - is the given name. It is recommended that you cite the family name, not the given name. For example, Avarn-Oxolt Ban would be Avarn-Oxolt, not Ban. In addition, all Qusmu'y are deliberately gender-ambiguous. If I've attached a masculine or feminine pronoun to their name, that's my mistake, & you should simply pretend that there's a "their" or "they're" there. Our capital is Qanz. In that city is our national stadium, Mastad Qusma, which has a capacity of around 80 000. The stadia other than Mastad Qusma which you might be competing in hold around 60 000. Our top flight domestic league is Pug Qusmyra. One season has been played so far, & it was won by KF Qastyr. In addition to Pug Qusmyra, there are 15 other domestic leagues arranged in a five-tier pyramid, & there is also a 64-club Puk Zama (Invitational Cup) & a 320-club Puk Zala (Grand Cup). If there's anything else you'd like to know, I'd certainly be happy to provide it. As someone new to NS Sport (my nation was only founded a few hours before the World Cup qualification draw, after all), I'd be happy to get to know what's good to include in RPs & such (besides, y'know, a crest, kits, & a picture of my stadium).

Qusma World Cup Qualifiers Hosting Venues
Match Day 1 - Qusmo v Wolves Clans (256) - Mastad Qusma, Qanz
Match Day 3 - Qusmo v Gopnikea (UR) - Mastad Qusma, Qanz
Match Day 5 - Qusmo v Kandorith (187) - Mastad Tracama, Tracam
Match Day 7 - Qusmo v Buyan (49) - Mastad Qusma, Qanz
Match Day 9 - Qusmo v Omerica (111) - Mastad Mastad Atlema, Atlem
Match Day 11 - Qusmo v Beepee (144) - Mastad Qanza, Qanz
Match Day 13 - Qusmo v Tumbra (24) - Mastad Qusma, Qanz
Match Day 15 - Qusmo v Yesopalitha (70) - Mastad Polana, Polan
Match Day 17 - Qusmo v Ceni (17) - Mastad Qusma, Qanz

Three lists of 50 players total follow. Unless otherwise indicated, the first list will be my starting XI, & the second list will have my substitutes. I may (or may not) call up a couple players from the third list sometime during the campaign, though. I did write about several national team players in my domestic league preview, but I wrote more detailed reports for all in the first choice Starting XI. For tactics, you can expect the team to try to use speed to their advantage, as they don't really have a whole lot else. They'll try to do that by counterattacking as quickly as they can once they regain possession. They hope to catch you off guard, once you have most of your squad in the attacking third. From there, they just hope to outrun you in a footrace to your goal. Through balls are a massive part of this strategy. The gameplan might be a little more nuanced - that is to say, a little less "Oh, no, that team? Let's hope for a miracle, I guess." - if you're not, say, Ceni, but that's the basic blueprint that Qusmo will likely follow pretty much throughout the qualification period.

GK • № 1 • Xynat-Evela Cuf • 26 y.o. • KF Trosoc Image
KF Trosoc unexpectedly lept squarely into midtable, far from the relegation zone they were expected to be in by the end of the Pug Qusmyra season. Xynat-Evela Cuf’s breakout year was the main reason why they beat their preseason expectations by six spots. Given the subpar lineup around them this season, Xynat-Evela has gained a lot of experience finding ways to bail his defense out when it completely breaks down in front of him, even if he has to flail a bit in order to get the job done. As the starting goalkeeper for an unranked national team heading into World Cup play, that experience will likely come in handy.

CB • № 2 • Lucex-Ilinx Opu • 30 y.o. • KF Atlant Image
KF Atlant had by far the best defense in Pug Qusmyra last season, yielding only 0.6 goals per match - & that was with a back three where two of the starting defenders were fullbacks. The reason Atlant’s defense was so good is their lone starting centreback, Lucex-Ilinx Opu. Lucex-Ilinx is not afraid to get their kit dirty - or, sometimes, even play dirty, if the referee doesn’t see it. No one else on the Qusmo national team roster is even remotely close to Lucex-Ilinx in their physicality & style of play. Given their history of crunching tackles, perhaps that’s best for everyone’s injury reports.

CB • № 3 • Yelto-Alfan Ono • 24 y.o. • KF Koflir Image
KF Koflir was a club of attrition last season; it only scored 40 goals in 38 matches, but it only conceded 30, which made them the only club besides KF Atlant to yield less than a goal a match. Much of that was because of Yelto-Alfan Ono, who has started to develop some leadership on the back line for his club side. Yelto-Alfan is used to a four-player back line, however, & there are some concerns that they won’t be able to find the kind of chemistry needed to successfully operate a three-player line, especially early on in the campaign & given how frequently the back line will likely be challenged by high class opposition.

CB • № 4 • Cunix-Betva Tla • 27 y.o. • KF Niom Image
The only representative from their club to receive a national team call up, KF Niom captain Cunix-Betva Tla has emerged as a leader for the national team, too. Though a midtable side, Niom had the third-best defense in Pug Qusmyra last season - behind Atlant & Koflir, of course. Even if that helped get Cunix-Betva a call up, however, what has given them a place on the first choice Starting XI is their consistent displays of superb levels of sportsmanship. That has earned them respect throughout Pug Qusmyra, even from opposing managers, players, & fans. They are not overly physical; instead, they rely on their technical skills, which are above average for a Pug Qusmyra centreback. However, they’ll be expected to struggle against many of the more technically gifted strikers they’ll be expected to face during the qualification campaign.

DM • № 5 • Yunal-Julad Waz • 25 y.o. • KF Poldanz Image
KF Poldanz was a remarkably well-balanced club this year, boasting the second-best offense & fourth-best defense in Pug Qusmyra. Much of that record is attributable to Yunal-Julad Waz, who plays as a defensive midfielder for their club but will be asked by the manager to play as a part of a centre midfield triangle. Yunal-Julad has great vision for a Pug Qusmyra player, & much of their talent comes from smart play rather than any physical traits; they prefer to sit back, read the opposing defense, & then make plays accordingly. Without the advantage of their wits, they likely would be quickly overmatched in both pace & physicality by many of those they will face during the campaign.

CM • № 6 • Ilinx-Kepex Zev • 31 y.o. • KF Qastyr Image
Though the first season of Pug Qusmyra is not technically yet done, KF Qastyr’s captain has emerged as a favourite for player of the year. Ilinx-Kepex Zev are truly what makes their title-winning club the domestic powerhouse they have quickly proven themselves to be, with both fantastic play & fantastic heart. They play all across the field, unafraid to make a tackle in their own box or take a shot in the opposition’s. They rarely, if ever, showed any fatigue over the course of the league season, though that might change with a grueling slate of fixtures spread out so far & against such top class opposition. Ilinx-Kepex has emerged as the captain & leader of the national team, as their seemingly fearless & tireless play motivates their teammates to do even better on the pitch.

AM • № 7 • Ilinx-Vulav Ixi • 25 y.o. • KF Poldanz Image
KF Poldanz boasts a great centre midfield for Pug Qusmyra; both of their own players in that position have made it onto the national team’s first choice Starting XI. Ilinx-Vulav has a lot of experience with national team teammate Yunal-Julad Waz as the tip of their club’s midfield diamond, & that chemistry will likely serve them well in the centre midfield triangle. Though asked to take a more general role as a centre midfielder rather than an attacking midfielder, Ilinx-Vulav is itching to help create chances. They have a bit of pace, but their main weapon is a keen sense of timing for through balls. The chemistry they already have with key teammates on the national team lineup should be highly conducive to just that.

LM • № 8 • Kynda-Sevet Pec • 19 y.o. • KF Koflir Image
Only two Pug Qusmyra starters were younger than 20 this season, & Kynda-Sevet Pec was one of them. They got KF Koflir to the brink of international competition qualification this season on the basis of fantastic pace. They are one of the fastest players in Pug Qusmyra, which already places quite a lot of emphasis on speed. They make some poor choices on the ball that they need to clear up, & they need to dribble better. They need to protect the ball better, as they are quite slight & no match for a physical challenge, especially from the much more physical players they are likely to see in service of the national team; however, they can come flying quickly out of left midfield to create opportunities for others up front or have a go at it themselves.

RM • № 9 • Forzu-Ralox Kal • 25 y.o. • KF Qastyr Image
Poldanz is not the only club well-represented in the national team midfield; KF Qastyr has two representatives as well. Forzu-Ralox Kal is a great player on the right side, where they bring suitable pace & stamina, & they also have chemistry with national team captain Ilinx-Kepex Zev from the recent club season. The player pool for right midfielder is rather weak in Qusmo, but that doesn’t mean that they’re bad, necessarily. They will be relied on primarily to stretch the defense out & to prevent them from focussing only on the centre & left of the pitch; however, some questions have emerged over the accuracy of Forzu-Ralox’s passing, especially that of his crosses.

ST • № 10 • Rilan-Jerat Nev • 18 y.o. • KF Trew Image
Rilan-Jerat Nev is one of the most exciting young players in Pug Qusmyra today & the youngest starter in the entire league. Some controversy did erupt when it emerged that Rilan-Jerat was chosen for the Starting XI, but they have some major accomplishments under their belt. They scored a goal on the final matchday of the Pug Qusmyra season that ultimately put KF Trew through to the UICA Globe Cup, & they demolished the opposition in Puk Juzuna to lead the Trew U-20 side to the UICA Youth Cup. They are one of the quickest players in a generally quick league, & they just seem to know where to put the ball to get it past the keeper; however, their confidence sometimes goes too far, & they try to make a run on goal when they really should just pass. They need to work on dribbling, passing, & staving off hard challenges, but the Trew fan base love them already.

ST • № 11 • Xilit-Zaxac Yol • 23 y.o. • KF Poldanz Image
Xilit-Zaxac Yol rounds out the national team contingent from KF Poldanz. Xilit-Zaxac may head only the second-best attack in Pug Qusmyra, but they are likely Pug Qusmyra’s best striker. They have great pace & are fantastic at finishing. Most of all, though, they play intelligently. They always seem to know where the ball is & where the player who is marking them is, & they use that to their best advantage. A common sight at KF Poldanz is a ball played deep in the midfield or even the defense by Yunal-Julad Waz to Ilinx-Vulav Ixi, who would promptly play a through ball to Xilit-Zaxac Yol, who would then relentlessly finish. It seems no coincidence that all three of those players are also on the national team roster, but of those KF Poldanz players, it is undoubtedly Xilit-Zaxac Yol who is the best on this team.

Kit Description in lieu of an actual picture of Qusma kits
From a prepared Fuzpon Qusma statement: "Our home kit will be in our national colours, red & gold. Emblematic of our national flag, a thick two-colour sash will run from the right shoulder down to the left hip, both front & back. The top sash colour will be gold, & the bottom sash colour will be red. Above the sash will be a red field, while below the sash will be a gold field. Our shorts will be red & our socks will be gold. On the back, we will have a large red circle outlined in gold to recall our flag, break the sash, & allow clearer kit numbers, which will be printed in gold, just like the sun on our flag. Highlights throughout the kit will be gold. Our clash kit will be white with the full, uninterrupted, two-colour sash on front & back. We will have black numbers & red highlights, complemented by the same red shorts & gold socks. Our goalkeepers' kits will be black with the sash on the front side only, with white numbers, gold highlights, black shorts, & black socks. We believe that these kits are not only striking, but will represent our country well internationally. We are proud to represent Qusmo, & we are looking forward to starting the qualifying campaign against Wolves Clans in Qanz."

Qusmo (QUS) RP Permissions
My opponent, if they RP first, may do the following:
Choose my goalscorers: Yes (note: Xilit-Zaxac Yol is the likeliest goalscorer, followed by fellow striker Rilan-Jerat Nev, & then centre-mid Ilinx-Kepex Zev; if you want a substitute to score a late goal, Ozolx-Mazur Guv is a good option)
Godmod Scoring Events: Yes
RP injuries to my players: Yes, unless it will keep them out for or impact them in matches beyond the one you're RP-ing at the moment; in that event, ask me before you do so
Godmod injuries to my players: Nothing that'll keep them out beyond the qualifiers (including career-ending injuries [including death]); ask me before you godmod injuries, please
Hand out Yellow cards to my players: Yes (note: cards will likely go to centre-back Lucex-Ilinx Opu)
Hand out Red cards to my players: Yes (note: if they do happen, red cards are especially likely to go to centre-back Lucex-Ilinx Opu)
Godmod Other Events: Probably, but if you have doubts, feel free to contact me first

I look forward to participating in World Cup qualification for the first time! Let me know if you need anything of me in the meantime.

THE CHIEFDOM OF COPPER CUPRUM
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL TEAM

This is the third time that Copper Cuprum will be participating in the Campionato Esportiva. Copper Cuprum had been long isolated from the international community since it is a small island archipelago located deep in the middle of the Lazarus Ocean, far from any regular shipping lanes since man first sailed ships. The nation was only discovered by the Fleftic Navy in 1914, when they were searching for the daughter of President Rufus Wole Mensah, whose ship was wrecked in the general vicinity of the islands. Arriving in the capital of the islands, they discovered that Chief Zed had made the President's daughter his queen, generating a sudden alliance between the two countries. And Copper Cuprum was also rich in copper, so that was a good thing for Abanhfleft too...

BASIC INFORMATION
Name of nation:
The Chiefdom of Copper Cuprum
Demonym: Copperite
Kits: The Copper Cuprum national football team does not wear any kits as ordinary people know them. Instead they play wearing only white loincloths, studded shoes, shin guards. The keeper also has gloves along with the aforementioned kit.
Team colors: Black and white
Style modifier: +1.00 (A balanced team with a slight focus on offense)
Formation: 4-5-1
Head coach: Jefferson Kalangitan (53 y/o, Oontaz)
Notes: It is Copperite tradition to slit the throat of a live chicken before a game and then spread the spilled blood on the field. However, after the Valladar authorities advised the Copperite Football Federation against performing this tradition after local audiences were shocked by this tradition, it has been decided that in place of this tradition, Copperite players will now cut off the head of a rubber chicken before a game and then toss the head around like a hot potato. However, Copperite players will now perform the chicken sacrificing ritual whether or not the other team likes it. The Copperites hope to turn this tradition into their version of the haka. Also, this is Kalangitan's first head managing job after the Malabon SC assistant manager accepted to take over the Copperite side following the sacking of Duke Dorogi Dorogo due to the team's poor results in the Campionato Esportiva.

STARTERS
GK: Enera TEMOYO
35 y/o, Athletic Wa Gon Image
Quite short for a keeper, but he does the job well enough to be the starting keeper for Athletic Wa Gon, the marquee team of the Copper Cuprum National League (which hasn't won the Copperite title for five seasons running already). But this doesn't mean much as the National League is considered as the least competitive of the leagues in the countries within Abanhfleft's sphere of influence.

RB: Tumoka BATUBA 31 y/o, Vay Gon Eels A.F.C. Image
Solid right back, but still quite raw for his age (which is astonishing seeing as he is now 31 years old). Sometimes advances a little too far into the offense to the other backs' liking. Thinks of himself as a wingback, but simply doesn't have the speed or the feet to get quickly between offense and defense and can't make a cross to save his life. Still gets lucky sometimes, though. Sold to Vay Gon Eels by Rosenpfelblatz North End and helped the Eels to their first national title in 19 years.

RCB: Ziketsy TUKUKU 22 y/o, Vay Gon Eels A.F.C. Image
One of the standout players in Copper Cuprum's forays into the Under-18 World (sponsored by Sporting World Magazine). Also stood out in the league when as a member of the Copper Cuprum Halal Commission, he helped the team to their first (and so far only) Copperite National League title. He also understandably left for Vay Gon Eels when the Halal Commission was relegated two seasons prior and was rewarded with another league trophy. For a young center back, he is actually very composed in defense, but his youth is also a factor in his rash challenges and propensity for bookings.

LCB: Derek CHIDAGI 32 y/o, Miroz Old Boys Image (Abanhfleft)
An immigrant to Abanhfleft who decided to play for his motherland after all. He's probably the only really good defender in this lot, and therefore bears the brunt of the defensive work for the team. He still has his problems, though, meaning that he will think nothing of tripping up any opposing players that are goalbound. Has conceded a lot of free kicks and penalties and will continue conceding more in the near future.

LB: Lazar DENISOV 21 y/o, Admiral Tuzla Image (Pridnestrovia)
Technically, he's a center back, but as Copper Cuprum apparently doesn't have enough left-sided fullbacks ready and/or deserving of an international call-up, Lazar joins the starting eleven. Really, this stinks of either desperation or a reluctance to either get new blood into the team or disrupting the delicate balance of this team.

RM: Boyote TOROTO 33 y/o, Sporting Busov Image (Abanhfleft)
Holds the midfield good enough, but still makes mistakes from time to time. Attacks from time to time but really hinders more than helps.

CM: Tabaré ZUÑIGA 36 y/o, Sporting Ceneisis Image (Abanhfleft)
Now that Chief Deg's favoritism for members of his personal retinue his injury woes have finally been cleared up, Tabaré is finally getting that well-deserved spot in the starting eleven, but it may have come too late for Copper Cuprum though, as Tabaré's already 34 at this point in time and he's not going to get any younger. He used to be more of a box-to-box midfielder but age has caught up with Tabaré and the team now relies on him being the rock in the midfield between the Copperite defense and the opposition's attack.

LM: Morefor TOFODO 35 y/o, General Santos F.C. Image (Oontaz)
Doesn't show up in big games, yet doesn't show up in minor games also. Surprising why he got included in the starting eleven at all. The fact that he's part of Chief Deg's retinue may have something to do with it, though. But now we know why Tofodo starts for Copper Cuprum: it's because of his wicked good set pieces. Free kicks, corner kicks, penalty kicks (when Chief Deg is unavailable, of course); you name it, Morefor Tofodo can actually take it.

RW: Opatop LAZAROVSKI 32 y/o, Sheriff Tiraspol Image (Pridnestrovia)
Half Pridnestrovian and half Copperite, he almost played for his father's country before Chief Deg conferred upon him a peerage that convinced him to play for Copper Cuprum. He is a half-decent winger that nevertheless will not be able to get into the starting eleven of any other nation in the world.

CF: Chief DEG 34 y/o, unattached, captain
The Chief of Copper Cuprum himself. Chief Deg is also the head of the Copperite Football Federation, a position that he created by royal decree after creating the federation, also by royal decree. He bills himself as "the best center forward in the multiverse," but so far he hasn't done anything to back up that claim. At the moment, even Abanhfleft's Kareem Dagen plays better than Chief Deg (but don't tell him that, Copper Cuprum needs the Chief's self-confidence constantly inflated and pampered to keep them with a chance of picking up a few points in the qualifiers).

LW: Tyrone ZUDAZET 35 y/o, Gyouza Young Lads Image (Abanhfleft)
Another member of Chief Deg's retinue that nevertheless deserves his place in the starting eleven. A landed noble with a barony under his fief, Zudazet is half-Fleftic and plays for a club in the Democratic Republic while at the same time flying the Copperite flag proudly.

SUBSTITUTES
GK: Nikoba LOBATO
21 y/o, Athletic Wa Gon Image
Perhaps the brightest star in the horizon that is the future of Copperite football. He has also practically taken over the position of Enera Temoyo's understudy from Torege Bitambo although at this point, it doesn't look like Bitambo cares much about that anymore.

GK: Torege BITAMBO 30 y/o, Sporting Busov Image (Abanhfleft)
Backup keeper, currently serving as Temoyo's understudy. Could become next national keeper if something very bad happens to Temoyo. Luck (and time) don't appear to be on his side though as he has been displaced from backup keeper to reserve goalkeeper by Temoyo's actual understudy from Athletic Wa Gon, Nikoba Lobato.

DEF: Tenoka ITORO 33 y/o, Gryphons Nubalochi Image (Oontaz)
Described by Chief Deg himself as "The Big Man." Competes with Desoka for the honor of being like Adebayo "The Beast" Akinfenwa. Pushes opponents left and right for a bit of morning exercise. And don't get me started on calisthenics.

DEF:

DEF: Idaran SOBODO 35 y/o, Pamunas F.C. Image (Abanhfleft)
Some of the players in the reserves are only there because there is a need by the World Cup Committee to have enough substitutes in every position. Sobodo is filling in for one of those emergency positions. But looking beyond Chief Deg's obvious favoritism tough task of organizing a capable Copperite team, Sobodo does have his uses, mainly attracting yellow cards and red cards from the referee. But when he doesn't find his name in the book, Sobodo does a good enough job of pumping crosses into the box and tripping up the opposition players trying to do the same in the Copperite box.

CM: Amitu SUDEBA 30 y/o, Ken Gon United Image

MID: Sitere BUWATA 31 y/o, Duhblakk Rovers Image (Abanhfleft)
This kid has a future in midfield, what with his flashy playmaking style. He's only in defense because he's been put there by the Fleftics at Duhblakk. Turns out that was only a move to improve the defensive side of his game, and with six years gone, surely Buwata has finally hit his peak?

MID: Umaga HAROBA 29 y/o, Athletic Wa Gon Image

MID: Paul MAGINOO 20 y/o, General Santos F.C. Image (Oontaz)

FW: Aramok TODEYET 31 y/o, Union Rheinburg Image (Pridnestrovia)
We need backup forwards, even though none of them can possibly replace Prince Deg in the starting eleven, unless of course the Prince gets injured.

FW: Douglas JAMESON 21 y/o, Sporting Ceneisis Image (Abanhfleft)

FW: Wesley WEYLER 21 y/o, FC Afa-az Image (Abanhfleft)

TEAM HISTORY
This is the ninth soccer/football tournament of any kind that Drawkland has officially competed in in the multiversal stage. After Qualifying for World Cup 77 AND 78, the Kick Corps has pretty much quelled any doubts about whether or not they're actually good, and solidified it with their best showing in a World Cup group stage in World Cup 79.
This is the official form of the roster to feature a Reserve Roster in addition to the Main Roster. The Main Roster has featured a few changes from earlier tournaments and the Reserve Roster has also featured some new faces. This is the lineup personally selected by the Drawkian International Sporting Council (DISC) to represent Drawkland: those chosen are undeniably the best at what they do and excel under the team chemistry and dynamic.
Drawkian soccer, and indeed, sporting in general, is mostly offensive-minded. This is reflected in the style indicator and in the formation. Drawkian soccer has not really been exposed to outside influences, and thus may look or feel strange to those used to "normal" football. Nevertheless, the players are still good at what they do, and prize in an enduring game, moving the ball around nearly constantly and keeping energy going, aiming to tire out the opposing team. Of course, Drawkians aren't humans, but you can read about that elsewhere. Oh yes, and Drawkian Soccer is a female-only sport. This may change, but not for a *long* time. This is because Gridiron Football is all-male, and the other two major sports, Baseball and Basketball, are mixed-gender. If there's anything a Drawkian loves, it's even formats and symmetric paradigms, hence why things shook out like they did. There are male players, but they play abroad where it's more acceptable, but they still don't get much attention.
Most of the team, including the manager, are made up from home-grown talent, coming from the highest-quality teams. However, a few have branched out to foreign leagues, mainly those of Terranea in Rushmore, that of Ceni and the Isles of Avon. More information on the players is to come later.

TEAM RECORDS
First Match: Drawkland 3-3 Averyickan City
First Win: Capital District, Ward 1 4-6 Drawkland
First Loss: Great Caledonia and North Hybernia 2-2 Drawkland (2-2 AET) [3-1 PKs]
Highest Score: Capital District, Ward 1 4-6 Drawkland
Lowest Score: Drawkland 0-0 Kosovakia (1-0 AET)
Best Win: Willinois 0-4 Drawkland
Worst Loss: Drawkland 0–4 Schottia
Most Important: Drawkland 3-2 Great Caledonia and North Hybernia
Best End Result: 3rd Place (Baptism of Fire 64)
Baptism of Fire 64: The big event, as it was referred to, was where Drawkland finally made their foray into the World Cup Cycle. Spirits were high going into the tournament and many were slating the Drawkians to take the whole tournament before it started. A 1-1 draw to Kernovi wasn't the start they imagined, but an 0-3 win on Turkmenbasyn followed by a 1-1 draw to Amnarei-asud was enough to send Drawkland to the knockout rounds. Winning 3-2 versus Ndaku in the first round, followed by an 0-2 win on Mriin was certainly expected, but a brutal 1-2 AET loss to none other than Amnarei-asud in the Semifinal sent the Corps to their second third place matchup, which was really not where they wanted to end up. However, they delightfully made light of the situation by beating the despised Great Caledonia and North Hybernia by a 3-2 margin to at least get bronze.
World Cup 77: And, being placed in Pot 7 for their first-ever World Cup Qualifiers, it was expected Drawkland to finish mid-table. Especially with the likes of the up-and-coming power of Bonesea, the Old Guard of Jeruselem, and the Top Pots of Barunia, it would be a long shot for Drawkland to qualify. But, somehow, on amazing circumstances that lasted all the way to the final minutes of the final match against Barunia, Drawkland managed to scrape through and qualify in their first ever shot at qualification. On to World Cup 77, where they sure got annihilated by other teams, only managing to get a single point by drawing Eura 0-0, before taking big L's to Osarius and Valladares.
World Cup 78: Eager to prove the doubters wrong and qualify once more to keep the percentage at 100%, Drawkland came with fire to World Cup 78 qualifiers, admittedly in the much easier position of Pot 3. They started strong out of the gate by defeating GVH 3-1 at home. Drawkland had a pretty solid but low-point qualifying campaign, scoring big wins but also big losses (all 3 of Drawkland's losses that campaign came to the tune of conceding 5 goals). A penultimate matchday 2-2 draw left Drawkland a point behind Red Blackiland, the second place nation in the group. Once again needing miraculous circumstances, Drawkland managed a 4-1 win to stay alive and Red Blackiland miraculously drew against an unranked side, paving Drawkland's way to their second consecutive World Cup. Ignore the fact that they lost to Eura and Farfadillis 6-2 and 6-1 respectively, instead focus on how they got their first-ever World Cup victory by defeating Turori 1-0!
Wold Cup 79: Drawkland had a very easy path to qualification in World Cup 79 ... they hosted it! Well, co-hosted it, along with Ceni. Avoiding the grueling World Cup Qualifying process, they came in to the World Cup group stage fresh and ready to take advantage of their home fields. They started that off well with a 2-0 win over Cassadaigua, but momentum slowed after a 1-1 draw to Turori the next matchday. However, they still had the second-place position in their group, and all they had to do is not lose by 2 goals or more to Cosumar on the final matchday to make the knockout round for the first time in their history. Unfortunately, the choke gods descended upon the Kick Corps, and they lost 4-1 at a practical home field to the Dragons. Turori won their match and went on to the playoffs ahead of Drawkland. Despite the disappointing loss, they still got the most points they ever had in a World Cup, with 4.

As far as these go, I'm fair game for anything. You should know what is and isn't drastic RP, and if you think your RP is on the drastic side, TG me first. But I'm still basically up for anything.
I'd like to request that injuries or cards don't do anything outside of the scope of a single game or maybe 2. Don't want anything tournament or cycle-ending. Red cards should be limited to late knockout stages, and I'd probably think that there should be no more than 2 players red carded per tournament.
Also, Ellzidan is a rather unique figure, as you'll come to find out, so you can go ahead and do some weirdness involving her if you'd like to make something less realistic occur. TG me if unsure.

Disclaimers of various sorts:
I don't know very much about soccer. If I RP something weird, it's because I have little to no experience with this sport. But whatever.
If you have any questions about anything involving me, this team, my nation, this competition, life, etc., feel free to telegram me.

Luz de Libertados and St Esther’s World Cup Football Team
Coach: Chabella Asthas
Home Stadium: Globe de Luz de Libertados la Stade
Formation: 4-4-2
Style Points: -4

The Luz de Libertados and St Esther International football team is known for it’s astounding chemistry and spirit. They may not be the best, but the team has a bond that is almost unbreakable. They play a very defensive but fast paced game, passing to each other quickly and efficiently and use space to their advantage extremely well. However, the team is very inconsistent and has trouble scoring rather than defending. They lose badly sometimes, but then win by 3 goals in other matches, and have been lucky in the past, but have never become close to winning.

The Democratic Republic of Luz de Libertados and St. Esther, a small, welcoming island nation in the North Atlantic. Built from the ashes of slavery, the island is covered with lush forests, tall volcanoes that dominate the countryside and fresh coating of snow every November - March.

About The Cereal Isle

The Cereal Isle is an island made entirely out of cereal, located somewhere in the seas of Esportiva. Everything there is made of cereal - the buildings, the roads, the cars, the plants, even the animals. In the oceans, lakes, and streams of The Cereal Isle, cereal fish for many a lonely day sail across the milky seas. Of course, The Cereal Isle’s sapient inhabitants are also cereal. They look like people, except they are made entirely out of cereal. And now, they are forming a soccer team.

FAQ:

What do the cereal players look like?

They look like normal people, except they are made entirely out of cereal.

So are they each one giant piece of cereal, or a bunch of smaller pieces?

They are several smaller pieces, though they cannot be broken up unless you are trying to eat them. (See below)

But what about the goopy cereals, like oatmeal?

They’re just a person made of oatmeal, like giant goop person as you say.

So how do you eat them?

If you take some milk and pour it on them, then they will fall apart and die, and the pieces will fall into the milk, which will then fall into a bowl that will appear out of nowhere. (OOC: But see my RP Permissions below)

How does the bowl appear out of nowhere?

It’s the magic of cereal.

”The magic of cereal”? How the hell does that work?

We’ve got an entire nation where everything is made out of cereal and that’s what you’re questioning?

Is it murder to eat the cereal people?

That is left up to the jurisdiction of each nation. However, in The Cereal Isle, eating cereal is not murder nor cannibalism since everything is made out of cereal. However, eating sapient cereal is generally frowned upon to say the least. If you find yourself in The Cereal Isle, it is perfectly acceptable to eat cereal animals, plants, etc.

RP Permissions:

Choose my Goalscorers: Yes
God-mod scoring events: Yes
Injure my players: No, since cereal cannot be injured as stated above. However, you may eat one player per game using the above method (killing them in the process) provided you TG me to give me a heads up so I can replace them, and provided any players who do so are given red cards.
Godmod injuries: See above. Feel free to godmod a crazy way to eat them using the above method if you can figure out some way to make that happen but the method seems pretty straightforward. You must follow the above method in some form, though.
Yellow Card my players: Yes
Red Card my players: Yes
Godmod other events: Yes, but see above FAQ.
