Integrate Declare War w/ An International Incident Issues

If we are to actually go anywhere with "Declaring War" in terms of nations, I believe it should be integrated with an existing chain of issues that NationStates already has: An International Incident. However, the only difference would be that the nations would both be affected, with the bare minimum context added, and possibly some changes to the issue chain for the sole purpose of Declaring War. It would be fun, but purely NS, and satisfiable to the angry masses yearning for War.

I doubt that would really satisfy anyone and it sounds really hard to implement.

Not having a function to actually declare war on other nations (speaking in terms of actual game mechanics) separates NS from its political simulator kin for the better. As mentioned, if you want to fight a war with other nations, just RP it and save Max the trouble of coding in an unpopular and unnecessary set of mechanics to the game.

No, it's not. But Max stated from the very start that he's not adding war to the game. There are other games with war (that aren't nearly as much fun, in my opinion) or you could write your own. It's pretty pointless to keep harping on adding something that's been specifically denied.
