The Grand Adventure

Traverse Town Tavern

"Well, the Multiverse can be a scary place, especially if you're suddenly dropped in a world you're not familiar with" The Wanderer said, wecloming Theo to the table. A waiter then arrives with Ignis' brussel sprouts and bear.

"But that is not the only reason. I have wandered the Multiverse for many, many years, hence I call myself the Wanderer. I have seen some of its greatest sights, and some of its greatest horrors. With the opportunity that I have been provided with, I wanted to share that joy of discovery with others. That is why I am here. I wish to offer you an adventure throughout the Multiverse"

The Multiverse’s Most Dangerous Game

Adam?

. . .

Adam?

Adam!

Samus reached through the smoke, placing her hand on the console. Nothing. The screen was shattered. She slammed her fist into it, but that did nothing. She had to get out. Smoke stung her eyes and flames licked her skin. She crawled through the inferno towards the only light that wasn't the fire. At last the clean air greeted her, and she coughed. She crawled out, looking down at the charred pavement, and her bare hands...

Her power suit had deactivated from the crash. All she had now was the zero suit.

Samus rose back to her feet and turned around. The wreck of the Galactic Federation ship smouldered in front of her. Her mission had barely started and everything was gone. The ship was gone. Her power suit was gone. Her weapons were gone. Adam was gone.

A ground-shaking roar made Samus look up. In the distance, she saw the creature that was assigned to kill...

Godzilla growled as Jona's blasts struck him, but they didn't appear to do much damage. With a massive claw, the monster swiped, destroying the spear and scattering the bones back into the ocean. Godzilla opened his mouth again, this time unleashing a torrent of bright red flame at the three mages.
What is a sig? A miserable little pile of words! But enough talk!
Have at you!

Secrets of the Raven

Elizabeth took a sip from her glass as Sayaka turn her back from her. "First I want to know why are a preteen girl has an aura and magic powerful enough to rival a master mage. Also I want to know more about this city that you claim to come from and this familiar that you were hunting and who or what made it. Also why you are wearing that silly outfit?" The mage asked, returning back to her drink. She turn her attention to Greed. "That red lightning back at Potter's Field that struck the water tower, did you somehow caused it?"

"Oh shit" Konny grabbed Jona and Miranda, running out of the way of the flame while creating a wall of corpses in front of her to buy time to dodge. The attack singed her coat. "That was close..."

"Hey, Konny...there's someone...." Jona spotted Samus and her wrecked ship. "We need to help her."

"What? You crazy? No man, we're getting out of here." Konny looked around. "We need to find a portal and leave the area. I feel like his breath is radioactive too."

"She needs help." He turned around.

Konny grabbed him by the collar. "You'll get killed! Do Dr. Yamada a favor and stay alive."

"..." He struggled free of her hand and started to sprint towards Samus's downed ship.

"YOU IDIOT!" Konny hoisted Miranda on her shoulders and started making her way away from the area. "Fine, do what you want. See if I care."

She took out her phone and attempted to call Quetz, with no answer.

"Huh, weird."

Borsippa V, Imperium of Man

The fighting had been grueling on the Hive World of Borsippa V, but it was far from the worst combat the Lamenters had dealt with. In fact, it might be considered one of the easiest battles they've had to face. This planet had seceded from the Imperium 40 years prior to this, and now the Imperium had come to right that wrong. The Lamenters were joined by a handful of Guardsmen regiments, along with elements of the Salamanders and an ever-growing number of civilians and planetary defense forces from the planet itself who were defecting and joining the Imperial ranks. Today, they launched the final assault on the city's capital. While many of the Salamanders and Lamenters were busy helping civilians out of the city, Veteran Sergaent Eleutherius Stavros had been tasked with leading a speartip into the heart of the rebellion. Stavros led with him a group of 10 fellow Lamenters, as well as a few hundred Guardsmen following to support their effort. Unlike many of the PDF forces, the palace guards were fighting fiercely, never surrendering, defecting, or running from the battle. Eleutherius and his men blasted and hacked their way through the guards, as well as any barriers they put up in the winding hallways of the palace. A short wave vox message broke the Veteran Sergaent's focus from the battle. "Brother Stavros! The main throne room is up and to the left!" Eleutherius nodded. "Leave this to me." He barreled past a barricade of bewildered guards, letting the others handle them, and turned into the throne room.

The room was ornately decorated, covered on gold and silver and dotted with many rare gems. On the floor, an ornate carpet of reds, purples, and golds stretched out and led to the throne itself. Upon secession from the Imperium, the Planetary Governor here had proclaimed himself to be the King of the system, and it was clear he took that claim seriously. Stavros looked at the ornately decorated throne, seeing now the man who sat upon it. He began to advance on the throne, seeing the man rise up and step down onto the dais. He was a strong old man with a tired, cynical gaze. "So, the Corpse-Emperor's attack dogs are here to put me down, eh?" Eleutherius stepped closer, stopping at the base of the dais. He looked the Governor in the eyes through his helmet "You are a traitor to the Emperor and the Imperium. I am here to bring you to justice. The Governor gave a hoarse laugh "Strike me down then! My death will not stop this!" "This? This rebellion will end with your death." the Governor shook his head. "Not the rebellion, you brainwashed fool. This! All of this! The death of the Imperium! It is innevitable. Unavoidable! Your rotten and corrupted empire shall fall, and a new entity shall rise! The Corpse Emperor shall fall and in his place the Dark Gods will ri-"[/color] His words were cut off in an instant. Eleutherius drew his Chainsword faster than the eye could tract and activated it with a push of a button. The blade roared to life with a deafening roar followed by the steady hum of the chain blade. Before the Governor could say anything more, the chainsword came down on him with a mechanical scream; the sound of the rumbling engine mixing with the sound of snapping bone and tearing flesh as the chainsword made quick, messy work of the traitor. The Governor fell in two, cut from shoulder to waist in one bloody stroke. The Veteran Sergaent raised vox comms with his captain. "Captain Thrinos, the traitor Governor has been dealt with. What's the status out there?" A staticy voice came through the vox "Well done, Brother Stavros. We're just clearing up the last of the enemy forces in the city. Civilians have been successfully led out with the help of the Salamanders. Report back here with your men." Eleutherius was going to respond, when an unusual reading was picked up by his armor sensors. "Captain, I've detected an unknown anomoly nearby. Permission to investigate?" After a moment, the Captain confirmed. "Permission granted."

Stavros gathered a few of his men and went into a nearby room, a kitchen by the looks of it. In the center sat what seemed to be a small wormhole, glowing brightly in an ever shifting array of colors. Eleutheirus and his men stepped closer cautiously, Stavros raising his Vox again "I have made contact with the anomaly. It appears to be a kind of rift in space. Approaching with caution." But static was the only thing to respond to him. He looked back at his brothers. "Vox is down. I suspect the anomaly is causing the interference." He stopped inches in front of the wormhole and examined it for a minute. After a while, he reached his hand out and touched the wormhole. There was a pause, and Stavros wondered if anything would happen, before suddenly being pulled into the wormhole, with it closing swiftly behind him.

DTTM, Outside Town Hall

Eleutherius was spit out a few feet in the air, falling to the ground with a loud crash. He pulled himself to his feet, grabbing his chainsword from off the ground nearby, and scanned his surroundings. He seemed to be in a town of.... tiny animal things. He tried to raise vox. "Captain Thrinos, come in. Captain Thrinos!" Again naught but static responded. Stavros gave a frustrated sigh, but something caught his gene-hanced eyes: three seemingly human figures just entering the town square. Eleutherius walked towards them with long, quick strides, his armor still splattered with blood and his chainblade with tears of flesh still in-between its teeth. He stopped a bit before them and pointed with his free hand. "Halt! Identify yourselves immediately."

A War of Flesh and Metal; Cairo, Egypt

Hersel and Venera found themselves thrown onto the sandy ground of their new surroundings from the explosion that sent them there. The two both got up and glanced at each other. "Ugh, you okay, Ven?" Venera brushed some sand off her shirt, clearly angry. "When I find that Jonah I swear I'm gonna punch him in the dick." The two looked around at their new surroundings. "So, uh, where are we?" Venera pointed over to Alex and Marcus running towards them. "Let's ask them." The two humans came over and Alex asked if they were okay. "Well, aside from being completely lost, I'd say we're fine." Ven then added in "And this sun is burning me alive. You know how us Trolls feel about the sun."

The Grand Adventure; Traverse Town Tavern

Alena slammed into one of the tables of the tavern, letting out a string of expletives in German. She got up off the ground and looked over to see Jonah, Ivan, and Ji-Yeong, walking over to join them. She looked at Jonah with an annoyed glare "Once again we see the genius of this master engineer and his brilliant machines. We should give you a medal for your genius! In honor of all the breakthroughs you've had." She sat down with the others by this "Wanderer", who took time to explain their situation. She then glanced over at Ignis and Theo, the others who were with them, and sighed. "Ugh, what are we getting ourselves into?"

"Introduce us to the multiverse, huh? Well, that seems pretty nice of you. But if you don't mind my asking, what's the reason for you to do this? A lonesome man doesn't seem like enough to introduce entire universes to the wider world."

A pile of loud, snarky and garishly coloured people fell onto the floor. Well, at the very least, they weren't eldritch horrors. He stood up from his chair, and strolled over to the new arrivals. As always, The Wanderer was forthcoming with information. The girl on the other hand... Well, she appeared to be far more enthused about the new arrival(s) than anyone else there.

"(Speaking of which...) Hi! My name's Valerian. Pleasure to meet you. Welcome, to the multiversal field trip of wonders. If you're lost... Don't be. I'm sure our esteemed friend here can get you sorted."

He raised his hand to shake, but instead, had to turn to the next arrival; the apparently delayed woman in purple. She certainly acted as if she knew the earlier arrivals. Victor stepped toward her, reaching out with one hand; this time to help them get up. He practically exuded trust and sympathy. Quite literally, actually.

"Hey there. My name's Valerian, and welcome, to the greatest excursion you've ever seen. I assume. That guy there's The Wanderer, and he's about to take us on a, what was it... Grand adventure? Anyways, nice to meet you."
"So, if you don't mind my asking, who are you four brightly dressed people? Best to know each others' names if we're going to be getting along, right?"

Secrets of the Raven

"Murder cult, huh? I don't suppose that you know whether or not there were 'Alchemical Symbols' involved?" Greed asked. "As for who I am? Well, I suppose I could tell you." He smirks, and brings a hand to his chest. "I'm Greed. And I demand the finer things in life. And you're right, I'm not from around here. I'm from a country called Amestris, but I doubt you have that here either."

"Portals? Familiars? Alternate realities? I know I like to say nothing is impossible, but a lot of this stuff just seems scientifically improbable. This is going way over my head." He blinks. "Oh, the lightning? I mean, sure, yeah that was me. I didn't cause it though."

A War of Flesh and Metal

Bradley's eye widened as the spaceship landed. W-what the hell? His mind ground to a halt. He shook his head, resuming his thought process. Whatever this ship was, it was clearly military. Weapons mounted to its frame, and invisibility? He watched as the soldiers exited their shuttle.

"Magic? Don't be ridiculous. Such a thing doesn't exist. This must be some form of alchemy." He muttered, scratching his chin. And his thought process ground to a halt once more. Four thousand years? How? No normal person could live that long. What work of fiction had he found himself in?

"I am Furher King Bradley, of Amestris. And no, I'm afraid I'm spoken for." He says, holding up his left hand, and pointing at the ring on it. "She must be worried sick about me though." He says, sheepishly. "So if you could tell me where I am, that would be nice."

Agent X and her followers descended upon the crashed spaceship. "<Give me a perimeter. I want chargers trained on that ship. I give the signal, you fire. The rest of you, form an ink circle around it!>" The inklings nodded and rushed off to perform their duties. Agent X sighed, and drew her Octobrush, letting it trail ink behind her as she approached the crashed ship.

Theo’s blue eyes looked at Ignis with slight surprise in response to her words. A country of Germans? That couldn’t happen, not even in four centuries under the will of a great man at the helm. But more surprising was her assumption he was German. Despite his similarities to the race and the language he spoke, Theo was no German.
“Ich am no German, Ich hail from Theodoro, in Taurida. Though vee had lived under ze Romans, our allies, for centuries and adopted many of their attributes, vee our own people. Though they control mein homeland, I will never associate those dreaded Crimeans with mein home,” Theo responded calmly. Though the thought of being labelled Crimean brought to him great outrage, he kept calm. He was a guest, it seemed, and he should be kind to fellow guests and to the hosts.
“I know not of vhat a multiverse is, but if I have ended up here, certainly it is because God wants me here. It is a pleasure to meet the lot of you. I vill follow you in your journey across this strange land, and see how I can be of service to the Christain faith,” Theo told the group. He didn't know what he was getting into, but he trusted that he would turn out alright.
“Now that ich have told you vhere I hail from, how about you?” he asked Ignis. She didn’t give off much heat, if any, it seemed. He wondered if she hailed from some far away land, or perhaps if she was gifted as well.

War of Flesh and Metal; Cairo, Egypt

"Well, actually," Marcus said, turning around and pointing at the Pyramids. "Aside from the whole 'other dimension' thing, we really couldn't be less lost. Those are quite possibly the most famous buildings on Earth. We're in Cairo, Egypt, though I guess that doesn't really mean much to you guys. What with y'all being aliens." "And, yeah, sorry about the sun," Alex said, shielding her eyes from its intense rays. Being from Canada, she wasn't quite used to these temperatures. "This place is kinda on the edge of the biggest and hottest desert we've got. We, ah, should probably get you two some sunscreen at some point. Or parasols." Marcus stifled a laugh at the thought of Hersel holding a little parasol to keep cool, turning it into a cough and continuing, "Hopefully we can get out of here before sunburn becomes an issue. I mean, I like the Pyramids as much as the next guy, but Egypt's kinda..." He grimaced and made a so-so gesture with his hand. "'Specially considering these two's appearances and Ven's, uh, habits."

Then, out of the corner of their eyes, the four saw a bolt of red lightning hit the ground and deposit a tall military-looking man with an eyepatch next to what looked like a girl in period clothes. Looking between each other and wordlessly deciding this required investigation, they started to walk over. A few moments later, a couple of what looked like dropships appeared from nowhere and landed next to the two. Out came some futuristic-looking people, and as the very strange ensemble grew, Marcus and Alex picked up the pace a little so they could figure out just what exactly in the hell was going on here.

"Hey, hi!" Marcus said once they got close enough, not even winded despite running quite a distance from the Pyramids. That was a feeling he greatly enjoyed since attaining the god tiers- all the benefits of constantly working out with none of the actual working out. "You guys wouldn't have happened to have just appeared here, right? 'Cause that's what happened to us." "This is Marcus, by the way," Alex said, stepping forward and smiling. "I'm Alex. The two behind us are Hersel and Venera." "Pretty crazy that we all apparently got sent to the Great Pyramids of frickin' Giza, right?" Marcus said, hands on his hips. "Guess all those 'ancient alien' weirdos were onto something, heh."

Grand Adventure; Tavern

Ivan, Ji-Yeong, and Jonah followed Alena up to seats at table of this 'Wanderer' guy. "See? I told you that my machine could get us across dimensions," Jonah said with a grin and a hint of pride. The grin quickly faded to a sheepish expression. "Just didn't expect us to get this far out. Chock that up to this place being a multiverse magnet or whatever." "Da, you're a true genius," Ivan said, rolling his eyes. He turned his head to address the Wanderer. "So, let me get zhis straight- you're here to velcome us on some kind of multiverse adventure? Vhy vould ve-" "We'll absolutely do it!" Jonah said excitedly, cutting the Russian off. Ivan stared at him."какой." "Because the chance to scour the multiverse for new and incredible technology sounds like an absolute gift from Allah, that's why. Plus, uh, I don't really have any materials to get us back home at the moment. If this guy's got something that can go between universes, he might be kind enough to drop us back home when the adventure's done." Ji-Yeong looked back and forth between the two men, hanging onto every word. The conversations of these two were always interesting to listen to, and this was definitely not an exception. Ivan let out a long, drawn-out sigh. "Fine," he said eventually. "Vone adventure, but zhen ve really must get home. I'd rather not leave Rodina in zhe care of Levsky and his harem for too long."

"Great!" Jonah said. He leaned forward and looked over at the Wanderer. "Yeah, we're in. When do we leave for this 'adventure'?"

Secrets of the Revan

Elizabeth drank down all of the content on the glass. "Ahh, always count the Irish to make some good scotch. No there was no alchemical symbol. There was a symbol in the victims shoulder but it wasn't alchemical in nature, in fact right now I have no idea what that symbol means." She told Greed. When he began to tell her everything about himself Elizabeth got up and walked to the scotch to get more. "I think you should use your made up name while outside. As for Amestris your right that place doesn't exist but tell me about it. Maybe my world has something close to it." After the glass was full she took a shot from it and let out a satisfied sigh, pouring it a third time.

"Well you better get use to the scientifically improbable Greed because this universe plays by rules that science would say is impossible. Though some think that the improbable is probable, it's just our current understanding of the universe is extremely limited." Elizabeth walked over to one of the two beds and sat down, drinking half the content of the glass. "If you didn't make the light show than who or what did Greed?"

Silly Outfit?!

Until that point, Sayaka was doing her best to patiently listen to Elizabeth, but no longer! The girl gasped audibly, scandalized by how wrong a certain someone was, and turned to glare at the alcoholic offender. "My outfit is not silly! It's suitably heroic for the job!" Much like Elizabeth's lack of taste in music, she also apparently had no sense of fashion. "It's not, right?" The girl turned to Greed for support, voice softening as she calmed herself down. He may be a strange and potentially evil man from another world entirely, but surely he had some sense of fashion and thematics in that skull of his?

Now sufficiently cooled, she turned her focus to Elizabeth's other questions. "I don't know anything about auras or mages, Kyubey didn't mention any of that when he made my wish come true." The Magical Girl huffed, crossing her arms as she recalled the events of that fateful day. "In exchange, I got magic powers so I can stop Witches and Familiars from eating and mind controlling people." Her voice hardened at that statement. She remembered being so powerless back then. If it wasn't for Mami she'd be-

"When I say Witches and Familiars, I'm not talking ugly, old hags and black cats. They're..." How do you describe something as strange and varied as them? "Otherworldly, like they belong in a cartoon or a surrealist painting. Just a few hours ago, I was chasing this chalkboard drawing of a cat piloting a paper-plane." She shrugged at her own explanation, like stabbing a living piece of animation was the most natural thing in the world. "Mitakihara was full of those things, and Mami was pretty much alone in fighting them for who knows how long now." There was no attempt to hide the admiration Sayaka held for the veteran Magical Girl, and the smile on her face was a witness to that.

Violet's eyes caught motion in the periphery. It looked like the strangely clothed group of tall individuals saved her the trouble of going to them. "Violet Evergarden, one of CH Postal Company's Auto Memories Doll." There was no need for military ranks when introducing herself to civilians. "Ah," a gloved hand touched her lips, as if scandalized. If these people truly were from another world as their words implied, then they wouldn't know what an Auto Memories Doll was. "In other words, a ghostwriter." There was more to the job than that, but for the layman, it was a good enough foundation. "I cannot speak for the Grand Admiral and the Fuhrer, but I stepped out of my office and suddenly found myself here." Violet's voice was as calm and collected as ever, having had time to adjust to the strange situation.

Secrets of the Raven

"And what job is that kid, entertaining little girls by acting as a fairytale warrior princess in plays and shows?" The witch teased as the girl began to pout. As the girl began to explain more about her lack of knowledge on other mages she revealed that someone or more likely something called Kyubey gave her magical powers after granting her wish. That news made her frown as she got up and walked to refill her glass. The news of wish granting involved made her feel uneasy and worried about the kid, wish granting never ends well for all parties involved.

"What did you wish for kid and more importantly what did you give away?" She turn to face Sayaka. "Both magic and wishes aren't cheap Blueberry, both come with a price. You fighting monsters called witches may sound like that is the price but trust me both always have more just hidden. Almost like the fine print in a sleazy contract deal." The hedge witch warned the magical girl. As she went on with what the witches were like and what she was doing before appearing in her world the witch asked. "Some of them remind me of a few faeries that look like that, but I wouldn't worry too much about them at the moment. So who is this Mami? I can tell that you idolize her. Also yell me about this Kyubey."

The hedge witch warned the magical girl. As she went on with what the witches were like and what she was doing before appearing in her world the witch asked. "Some of them remind me of a few faeries that look like that, but I wouldn't worry too much about them at the moment. So who is this Mami? I can tell that you idolize her. Also yell me about this Kyubey."

Sayaka decided to ignore Elizabeth's snide comments in favor of focusing on what she should say. She had a story to tell after all, and it wouldn't do to let Elizabeth's negativity bring her down. "Kyubey wouldn't do anything like that." She was sure of it. The bunnycat was exactly like the mascots she'd see in Magical Girl shows, helpful, good and with a spoonful of cuteness. "He's been working tirelessly with Mami for years now, and they've kept us safe for so long without anyone even thanking them for it." No one knew they even existed. "She even saved me and Madoka from getting eaten alive by Familiars." The girl's expression grew softer at that, annoyance gone as she recalled the first time she met an actual Magical Girl.

"So!" Her voice reached the heavens, but she couldn't help but shrink into herself. "S-so when I had the chance," Cheeks flushed, Sayaka found her reserves of confidence was quickly draining. "I-" She turned away, coughing into her hand. "I made a wish to help a friend regain the use of his hand back." Oh god, friend. Yes, that was what she and Kyosuke were. Friends. "So all I gave up was my free time and I had to promise to help Mami keep the city safe."

Secrets of the Raven

Elizabeth let out a chuckle on Sayaka's comment about Kyubey never tricking her, showing just how naive she really was. "I will admit as sleazy as tricking kids is they are pretty easy to dupe. The question now is why this suppose bunny-cat needs children to become mages?" Elizabeth's thoughts turn to all manner of possibilities of what this Kyubey could need children besides making them into child soldiers against these entities called Witches and their familiars.

As she kept talking about Mami the witch drank down another shit from her glass and began to refill it. "Tell me what is happening with Mami now?" She asked absent mindly, unaware of the former magical girl's fate. When Sayaka revealed what was her wish to become a magical girl the witch chuckled once more only now it sounded less bitter. "Aww, that's so sweet. Helping your crush regain the use of their hands." The witch said with a laugh.

Once the witch calm down and took in a few deep breaths she pointed at Sayaka. The witch began to trace sigils on the air, chanting in the archaic language known to most in her world as Latin. Once her changing was done and the final sigil was drawn the witch turn her back on Sayaka, spinning her glass slowly, watching the scotch move in the glass. "You can move around now but tell me Sayaka do you really think over the offer Kyubey gave you? Have you consider the fact Kyubey made you into a child soldier to fight monsters? Monsters who in your own words can mind control and devour people, thus posing a great risk to your life?" The witch drank down the scotch and place it on the drawer, turning around to face her.

Looking down at the magical girl she continue to speak. "Have you ever consider how your family or friends would react if one day a witch manages to eat you? How would they cope knowing that one day you just vanished into thin air?" The mage can't blame a young girl for not thinking through such options When the desire to have one's wish granted and the glamour of magic and heroism are all being used to lure her into a cleverly veiled trap. The occultist just sense something fishy going on about the whole set up on that is going on in Sayaka’s world.

A War of Flesh and Metal; Yi Sun Shin and Aurelia Icebreath

"That is something I cannot really answer, as we are also clueless ourselves.", Yi shook his head as Bradley asked him where they are. "This is not the same Earth I hail from. This is Egypt, yes. This is Earth, yes. This is the Solar System, yes, but it is not the one I know. I believe this is an alternate reality, and you and I come from different realities. Our battleships crashlanded on the moon of Titan in Saturnian orbit, and we are here to get someone to help us get them off the ground... but it seems that everyone else so far is clueless as well."

"So the multiverse theory is true, after all.", Aurelia mumbled to herself. "I wonder if there is a reality where we are engaged..."

"What was that, Aurelia?", Yi looked back as he barely heard her. "Care to clarify?"

"I said that the multiverse theory is true after all, and that there are infinite realities out there...", Aurelia answered half truthfully. "Wait, who is that coming?"

"More multiversal freaks I guess.", Yi rolled his head.

The four strange figures turned out to be two humans and two aliens. "Well, well, well met then, Marcus, Alex, Hersel, and Venera.", the Grand Admiral nodded to the four. "I assume you are from a different universe once again. I am Grand Admiral Yi Sun-shin of the United Nations Cosmo Navy. I come from a reality wherein Earth was uplifted by a benevolent alien race, the Ensari. This fine lady over here is one of them, High Starseer Aurelia Icebreath."

"Hi...", the Starseer waved. "Ehem, good to meet you. Our ships crashed on the moon of Titan, the battleships Andromeda and Lunaven. We are repairing the damage as we speak, but Earth in this reality is not the one we come from, it seems. So, care for a cold drink?", she said as she formed icecubes from thin air. Amazingly, they refused to melt under the hot desert sun. She then formed cups of ice, and a table of ice, all of which did not melt. "You might be gapping your mouths right now, but crazy as it may sounds, I am a wielder of what you call magic. I can use it for life or death.", she said as the icecubes dropped with a splash on the icecups. "I am sure the heat is making your vital fluids boil. Don't worry, there are no drugs or anything heretical in that water."

Secrets of the Raven, Sayaka Miki
The Drinking Crow, Elizabeth's Room

"Mami-" Sayaka's stuttering and embarassment faded the moment she was asked about her mentor's fate. "She taught us a important lesson," it looked so simple back then, like something out of a tv-show. "A Magical Girl's life isn't easy and it definitely isn't safe." The sound of flesh being torn apart, the smell "It takes courage and dedication to protect people, and I have to risk my own life to do so." She would never forget that day. Not now, not ever.

Elizabeth cracked a joke, but the mood was too somber now. Sayaka's eyes were focused on the floor, her hands balled tightly into fists as she was informed that she could move freely again. "Someone has to do it." Her voice was small, but there was a grim determination to it as she answered Elizabeth's questions. "And I decided that it might as well be me." Her parents would cry if she died. Madoka would blame herself, and Sayaka would have to leave Hitomi and Kyosuke behind. "I know what I'm getting into. If it's a choice between risking my life out there so that my parents and friends are safe, and doing nothing even though I know a random Witch or Familiar could end up killing them, then I'll choose risking my life everytime."

Sayaka raised her head, and looked Elizabeth in the eyes, as if daring her to doubt her convictions.

Drinking from the cups of strangers was a big no-no. Even children knew it. Violet herself knew that you shouldn't drink from sources of unknown quality, yet, for the first time in the longest time, the veteran found herself filled with curiosity.

Who could blame her, faced with such wonder?

"If you would allow me," Violet curtsied with mechanical precision as was proper when talking to one's superiors. "I would be delighted to." She did not rise from her curtsy however, stance perfectly still save for the faint rise and fall of her chest. It would be scandalous to do so after all when she hadn't been given explicit permission.

Secrets of the Raven

"Look," Greed interrupted, "I don't mean to be rude, but can we not go into backstory time? Or at least allow me to get a word in edgewise?" He crossed his arms, scowling. "Girlie, I can assure you that someone promising power in exchange for a wish, a wish that comes true mind you, is not someone you want to be dealing with. Hell, you shouldn't even trust someone promising power. They don't even have to look sleazy." His eyes narrowed at Sayaka. "They just have to say the right thing. And you most certainly gave something away, girlie. It might not be alchemy, but it certainly applies: 'If one wishes to obtain something, something of equal value must be given. This is the Law of Equivalent Exchange.'"

His scowl morphed back into his usual grin. "Of course, things might be different where you come from. I doubt it though. So tell me, did this 'Kyubey' character tell you what witches are? Or what they come from? Monsters don't just appear. How about the way you fight them? What powers your abilities?"

Bradley remained quiet, listening and watching the goings on. This new group has strange outfits. And aliens? I wonder... He rested his hand on the pommel of the sword at his side. I don't think I'll be able to manipulate these people. Either way, I should be on my toes. I'm in a situation where I don't have an explicit advantage.

Rise of the Masked Man

When Avarice seemed to begin going off the rails, Gold and Ty slowly backed away from where she was, trying to keep their distance.
The actual fuck is up with this chick? Ty wondered to himself, wanting no part in what Avarice was thinking.

Muffet, on the other hand, seemed rather unfazed.

In the commotion, the apparent leader of the Neo-Rocket Team on the scene-the man in the black trench coat-stepped forward slowly. He gave a strange look at the group of heroes, not sure exactly what to make of them.

"This would have been so much easier if we could have just run them down..." he muttered under his breath.

After clearing his throat, he spoke.
"You do not wish to fight us, but we need to get rid of you. You see..."

He raised his arm, pointing at Gold and Ty.
"They have a long history of meddling in Team Rocket's affairs. Due to their strength, I figured it would be simpler to take them off guard, but even that didn't work..."

He lowered his arm, looking to the storm above.
"I can assure you, we have plenty to take you all on. The combined might of you surely is not equal to the might of the legendary birds. That is what we are after right now; The legendary bird of ice, Articuno. You'll find we are far better prepared for this battle than you think."

"You're going after Articuno?" Gold asked, taken aback at the man's audacity. "You realize taking the Legendary Pokemon out of the environment could mess up the environment, right?"
"Oh, nonesense. That's a bunch of unbased hogwash propped up by Oak." the man responded, cockily. "And my boss is determined to get the birds."

"Well, we're gonna stop you right here! If we beat you down, you can't get Articuno." Ty shouted out, the fire from his neck a raging inferno.
"You can try."

On que, the twenty Team Rocket grunts sent out various Pokemon; several Golbat, Nidoking, Koffing, Charizard, and Golem were released in bright flashes of light from the Pokeballs the grunts threw into the air, and rushed towards the heroes.

Drawn Through the Multiverse
When Tadayoshi, Kongou, and Maya arrived at Town Hall, Isaac hopped down, and approached a female raposa in a yellow dress, Mari, explaining that the group would help the raposa, but likely needed an explanation of what was going on. Meanwhile, a small pink puffball arrived via rift, landing on Tadayoshi's head, and bouncing onto the ground.

"Ow." Tadayoshi said instinctively. His head didn't really hurt, but it seemed that his mental reflexes assumed it would. He rubbed his head, looking at the pink ball curiously, not sure what he should think of the joyful puff.

As soon as Kirby arrived, smiling and waving, Maya knelt to the little creature, smiling.
"Oh, it's so cute!" she exclaimed, in excitement. "I wonder what it's called!"

Kongou looked at the new arrival, with an amused smile. She hadn't seen anything like it; Today was filled with all kinds of new discoveries.
"Can it speak?" Kongou asked, expecting Kirby not to be able to produce sound. After all, she wasn't sure what to make of the puffball's anatomy.

Before that could be answered, however, Eleutherius appeared before them. Tadayoshi's eyes widened slightly at the sight of the power-armor-clad man.

Jesus, that's a tonal shift... he tried to hold back a judging expression, as he noticed blood splatter and bits of mystery meat covering the man. The image really clashed with the drab-yet-mostly-friendly atmosphere of the village.

Isaac and Mari stared in wide-eyed shock at the giant metal tank of a man in front of them, their expressions a mix of disbelief and terror.

Kongou was the one to speak up first.
"I am Fast Battleship Kongou. With me are Heavy Cruiser Maya, 'Im-pee-doh' Commander Tadayoshi, and a pink ball. We do not know what the pink ball is called." she said, matter-of-factly. As she spoke, she gestured to each of the others; Tadayoshi, standing next to Kongou, and Maya, who was still busy fawning over the pink ball.

Kongou decided to reserve judgement on the space marine, considering what she had seen earlier in the day.
Considering how out of place this... human? ...looks, it is likely he is not from here. He may have been brought here through a rift, like us...

"So, what is your name?" she asked. "And why are you covered in viscera?"

Secrets of the Raven

Agent A seemed to ignore the various stares he got, as he spoke with the early-20th-century-themed man at the desk.
"I've had a difficult day. If I could, I would like a table and a newspaper." he said, plainly.

He figured he had a rather odd appearance; a six-foot-three man in a dirtied suit certainly wouldn't be an everyday sight. However, this one particular man in a booth was giving him what seemed like unwarranted amounts of attention.
What is that man thinking? Agent A wondered to himself, catching the man in his peripheral. Why is he staring at me like that? You'd think I was covered in blood, or glowing.

Agent A heard the sound of a trolley outside. This interested him, in the back of his mind.
A streetcar? I'm not very familiar with the UK, why would such a small town still be using light rail systems? he thought. This town really does seem stuck in time...

He thought for a moment.
No, I was able to get cell reception, so I can't have traveled into the past...

Madi merely listened as the guy in the black trench-coat talked about something called "Articuno", what ever that was.
Wait, the creature was a gigantic bird.
A gigantic bird that could mess up the environment.
Okay, I'm definitely not on Hogwarts grounds anymore. , thought the witch as she silently watched several different kinds of creatures advance towards her.
Madi took a few steps back before using Cave Inimicum among others to protect the tent and the people inside.
"I'll make sure they don't get the tent. You two do whatever you need to do."

Secrets of the Raven

As Sayaka began to tell Elizabeth more about Mami and ultimately her fate the witch simply said. "Sorry for your loss." The witch sounded genuine in her words as she walked go the chair and began to drag it back to its original place in the room. Taking a seat on the chair the saw the conviction on Sayaka's eyes. While she found it admirable that she was that dedicated to her goal she also pity her as she suspect that Sayaka was tricked into something.

The witch spoke. "But why did he showed a child to fight against these monsters? If I needed soldiers to fight against eldritch horrors I would pick adults who are in the military, intelligence agency, and law enforcement to deal with them. People at your age are still too young to see combat and your hormones would only get in the way during a life and death situation."

Elizabeth was reminded of creatures like the Kooks who often trick children by looking like them in order to be close to play with them, often siphoning their life force the longer they stay with the child until they have drain everything from the child and they become a Kook themselves. It wasn't the only entity that preyed on the young and the more she hears about Kyubey the more he begins to sound like those creatures.

Soon Greed spoke out, clearly annoyed backstory time and him not having a chance to speak. The witch was glad to hear that someone agreed with her that Kyubey sounded like a con artists and that the whole magical girl and witch conflict sounded fishy. "Thank you Greed. Nice to know I'm not the only one noticing something wrong with Sayaka's story." She turn to face Greed. "So alchemy exists in your world and the law of equivalent exchange as well? Funny, both exist in my world. But I can tell that alchemy in my world is going to be different to your world and equivalent exchange applies to magic as a whole, not just alchemy."

When Greed asked if Kyubey ever told her where witches come from Elizabeth's eyes widen. "Shit I can't believe I let an obvious question like that slip my mind. Besides telling us where witches come from tell us how does Kyubey turn you into magical girl, what us magic like in your world, and more importantly what the hell is Kyubey." The witches asked the magical girl.

"As for you Greed since I can feel like you may have more than one soul inside of you I want go know what you are and what is Alchemy like in your world? Also knowing more on where you actually come from and Amestris would be nice as well."

Unfortunately for Agent A him glowing would have been normal to the man staring at him, instead in a pond of ethereal wisps and clouds coming out of the diner patrons A was the only absent of any aura, a sure sign that he lacked a soul. The trolley can still be heard close by as it stopped to drop off passengers and to pick up more. He can also hear the horns of a truck and outside can see a large truck with a cylinder container attached to it.

The man at the desk looked over at Agent A. "No kidding stranger, lucky you for you there is a table over there." He gesture to one by the window. "Also here is your newspaper." He gave him the new paper which Agent A would see was printed by a company called the Branhwrn Chronicler. As he went to the table to read the newspaper he would find that not only was it December but the year was 2017. Moreover he would find the main story was the discovery of the body of a student called Abigail Williams who vanished a week ago and was recently found by the police dead close by an old pumping station. So far the news talked about how the cops suspect this to be the work of a lone serial killer.

Agent A would see that Abigail is just the latest victim of a series of kidnappings and murders and that the university she was attending expressed their sorrow of another student being killed and that They have assured that campus security will increase to prevent the horrible incident from occurring again, the mayor and town council also assured the public that they will use all of their resources to find the one responsible for the murders. A female brunette waitress walked up to Agent A. "What would you like?" She asked the odd dirtied man. The man who was staring at Agent A return back to his meal but he was eating noticeably quick.

1260

1260 would’ve been another year of declining, but still strong, Mongol hegemony over the various states in the Caucasus and Anatolia. The states would’ve bickered over territory as the usual, as the post-Roman states and their allies struggled to survive against the Seljuq turks, even if both sides were forced into vassalage at gunpoint by the Mongols. But the power balance in the region would be shaken as a Turkish man named Ezren and his personal army carved out a new empire in Western Armenia. Appearing seemingly out of nowhere with weapons and powers so alien to the average people they were labelled gifts from demons, they took the world by suprise.

With disregard for any of the polities there, Evren and his men managed to crush to swiftly seize important cities trade centers in the region from Kars to Siirt and successfully crush both the Seljuq and the Ilkhanate armies at the Battle of Van, where they would go on to seize more cities and land to fortify the empire. All of this happened in just 2 years, and caught both empires with their pants down. Both would begin to destabilize, and as of now, both stand at extreme risk of collapse. Evren declared himself the new Shah of Armen, and set to consolidating his holdings and using the spoils of war to build up a large trade based economy. But Evren made one mistake: thinking he would be the only man lucky enough to gain unexpected help.

1262
Trebizond

The last few years had been hectic for the Empire of Trebizond, a Roman rump state in the Pontus region. Though they had been faring well simply by diplomacy, this clearly would work no longer. Evren’s empire had already absorbed and taken territory from allies of the Trapezuntines, and it seemed that he might move yet again and conquer the empire. Evren was unpopular in his own territory for his purges and massacres done to secure his power, and both of the nobles and the poor of Trebizond feared occupation by his empire. It seemed that only God could save them now, and that’s what a group of faithful Trapezuntine citizens gathered within a church were counting on.

The church they had gathered in was within the city walls of Trebizond, not too far off from the fortifications of the Emperor’s palace, even. It had a brick tower with a bell, and a typical dome in the middle. It was made of marble, brick, and stone, and in the inside was covered in many murals and tile art typical of the time period. It was almost like the Hagia Sophia which lie outside the city, yet, relatively smaller and more modest. But what wasn’t so modest was the small collection of newly found artifacts on display: Ten golden glowing metal “pieces” of indeterminable origin. Rumors spread that they were pieces of heaven on Earth, and so, they were transported to the church.

Several Trapezuntine priests had gathered in the church for a private session. It began like any, with the usual rites done. They praised the Lord, and thanked him for all he did for them. But unlike a usual session, the ending was a big request to the big man himself.
“Lord, we thank you for all you have given us, and do not doubt that everything is under your control. But this man, Evren, seems to be collaborating with the devil himself to undermine the Christian faith and those who follow us. All we ask of you is to send a force of your holiest warriors to assist us in the upcoming war of survival, to save your subjects from total annihilation,” one of the men said, before letting out a small sigh. He was a man of faith, but even he felt doubt that God would answer his call for help.

Then, a rift opened, and the metal pieces began to glow.

The "metal pieces" are universal translators, so that the characters can communicate with and understand everyone. They need to be close to them to work, of course.

The part of my post with my own character for this (Scrappy) will come tommorow. This won't mess with continuity, however.

Trebizond
Quetz fell out of the rift but unlike Ignis he landed gracefully with skill and finesse, planting his feet on the ground in the middle of the circle. He looked around and saw that he was in the midst of Christians. And he was also in a church.

Quetz decided to make himself look more human, as he was wary on how these people would react. He did not wish to harm any of them in case he would seem aggressive, and so he tried to make himself look the least godlike as possible. Maybe he could even....

"Fear not, humans...God has sent an angel to your aid. For I am his messenger."

He sprouted two wings from his back and popped out a holographic halo from his head.

Former HYDRA HQ, The Alps, 2018
Many would expect that no one would've been crazy enough to set up a permanent base up in the Alps, but if they did venture farther into the mountains, they would've found an abandoned structure, deep within the mountains, with training grounds in front of it. The Red Skull's Alpine HQ had been the base of operations for HYDRA during the Second World War, that is until Captain America attacked along with the Allied Army. After taking the base and taking the prisoners, the SSR ransacked the entire base for all its technology, trashing the rest, before leaving, abandoning the base for good. For many decades afterwards, neither SHIELD or HYDRA had attempted to explore the base, that is, until now.

A heavily armoured door, rusted but still standing strong despite decades of no maintenance, was suddenly blasted off its hinges and thrown across the room as an energy wave crashed into it. As the dust cleared, a middle-aged man with a beard, wearing a black military uniform with the Octopus of HYDRA stamped on the shoulder area, walked in, his left arm separated with a cannon in the middle. "Knock knock?" A Klaue called out mockingly "Is anybody home?" Klaue walked into the room, followed by two more younger men, both around their mid to late thirties with brown hair and little to no facial hair, one wearing a similar black military uniform with the same logo on his shoulder, and the other wearing a different black coat like uniform but also with the logo on his shoulder.

Adler held out his pistols in caution, sweeping the area, his katanas folded in his sleeves and his Chitauri Scepter strapped to his back. Zemo did the same with his AK-74, his Glock holstered in his belt, and his Chitauri staff folded on his back. Klaus finished his sweep, lowering his pistols, but ready to raise them at even the slightest disturbance. "Clear!" Klaus called out to back from where they had come from. Footsteps were heard, as well as mechanical stomps, as two figures approached. The first that entered wasn't even a person (physically). As the humanoid body of the mech stomped in, wearing a black trenchcoat, the chest holding a circular shape bearing the logo of HYDRA. The head, instead of being physical, was made up of the green hologram of a rather chubby man with glasses.

After that, Zola made way, as the final person of the party entered. Wearing a black leather trenchcoat with several straps, and his shoulders and belt buckle bearing the HYDRA logo, was another middle-aged man with a cleanly shaved military haircut, wearing a monocle, his right arm seemingly replaced with some sort of metal gauntlet. Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker observed his surroundings, before breathing in and out. "Back where it all started then," Strucker muttered with his distinct German accent, before calling out "Herr Zola? Are you sure this is the origin of the disturbance?"

"Jawohl Herr Strucker, I am quite certain," Zola replied. About an hour ago, a massive energy spike the likes HYDRA had never seen before appeared briefly. Zola quickly tracked the signature to the old Alpine Base. "If I am correct, the disturbance occurred directly in this room." Zemo turned towards Strucker. "Herr Strucker, with all do respect I still disagree with your choice to personally come here, Herr Adler and I should've been enough to investigate." Zemo had been against Strucker coming because of security concerns. "Though I appreciate the concern Herr Zemo, this is an opportunity that cannot be ignored, and I must be here to witness it when it has been uncovered," Strucker replied. "Spread out! I want this disturbance found before SHIELD find us,"

They complied, as the different men in the room walked to different parts of the room to try and find something. The large room was a mess. Upturned tables, shard glasses and several pieces of machines littered the floor. All that remained of an old past. "This better be fast," Klaue exclaimed "It's bloody freezing out here," "Your uniform was specially designed to adapt to different environments, it should be completely fine," Adler replied blandly. "But I spent most of my time in fucking Africa," Klaue whined as he observed an old device stuck to the ceiling "I'm not used to this." "My condolences Herr Klaue, however in this current temperature my processing power increases by 50%, I would not mind perhaps renovating this place once more for my own uses," Zola's robot voice called out.

"Yeah yeah sure you crazy robot," Klaue muttered to himself. A bit more time would pass before they would all gather in the middle of the room, empty-handed. Strucker was about to speak once more before suddenly "Wait, I am picking up small traces of Gamma radiation," Zola exclaimed "And it's rising, it seems that something is generating right in this room, I advise caution," "That's not everything we should be cautious about," Zemo suddenly called out with alarm, "SHIELD is here, they have already engaged with my men, they say that the Avengers were able to break through, they're coming here right now!"

Before Strucker could reply, there was a crash as the large window was broken, a giant green monster landing with a roar, followed by a long-haired blonde with a red cape and a large hammer, a metal man of red and gold carrying another man of red, white and blue holding a round shield. Iron Man pointed both his repulsors while Captain America readied his shield, Thor swinging around his hammer, eager for battle. The rest of the men inside the room quickly aimed their weapons at their mortal enemy. Suddenly, there were footsteps from behind them, as Zemo and Klaue turned in time to see Hawkeye and Black Widow, followed by a squad of SHIELD Agents.

"Hey guys, missed us?" Stark called out mockingly, Klaue (having a personal vendetta against Stark) growled. "It's over Strucker, your surrounded, order your men to drop their weapons!" Captain America called out. Strucker laughed "Oh please my dear Captain, I thought you knew me better," Strucker replied, raising his Satan Claw. "Don't tell me you think I've grown soft?"

"Gamma levels becoming dangerously high!" Zola interrupted, a screen on his arm flashing red, "Something is happening!" A bright light engulfed the room, temporarily blinding everyone. When the SHIELD Agents and the Avengers had gathered back their bearings, Strucker and his men were gone.

Little did they know that not only did they disappear from the base, but they also disappeared from the world as they knew it.

Secrets of the Raven, Sayaka Miki
The Drinking Crow, Elizabeth's Room

Cybraxia wrote:His scowl morphed back into his usual grin. "Of course, things might be different where you come from. I doubt it though. So tell me, did this 'Kyubey' character tell you what witches are? Or what they come from? Monsters don't just appear. How about the way you fight them? What powers your abilities?"

Naval Monte wrote:When Greed asked if Kyubey ever told her where witches come from Elizabeth's eyes widen. "Shit I can't believe I let an obvious question like that slip my mind. Besides telling us where witches come from tell us how does Kyubey turn you into magical girl, what is magic like in your world, and more importantly what the hell is Kyubey." The witches asked the magical girl.

Jeez, who did these two think they were questioning? A criminal? "He did," Sayaka frowned, annoyance clear at being questioned like she was a child who didn't know what trouble she was in. "Witches come from negative emotions," Simple as that. "And whenever a Familiar eats enough people to grow into one." She added with some distaste. The red chick was everything a Magical Girl shouldn't be, but the information Sayaka gleaned from their little encounter was still useful.

"Kyubey looks like a white cat with weird long ears that have a gold ring levitating around each one." Describing the bunnycat was harder than she thought it would be. "He has red eyes, and a pink tear drop shape on his back." She never was good at describing things. "And he's cute, just like a mascot from a tv-show." Yes, that could work. "When Kyubey granted my wish, I remember it hurting a lot for a moment and blacking out." Azure light covered Sayaka's clothes before they quickly faded and revealed her in her school uniform. "And when I woke up, I got my own Soul Gem." In her hand was exactly that, a ornate blue oval gem that fit in her palm. It was decorated by gold and musical motifs, whilst a tiny whisp of inky black something danced inside the gem like water. "It's the source of my magic, and the reason why I can heal wounds really fast and summon the swords I use to beat Witches up."

"As far as I know, no two Magical Girls have the same Magic. Mami had these ribbons she could turn into guns and restraints, there was this chick that had a spear and was really strong and fast, and then there's the transfer student who just appears out of nowhere and makes things explode." The girl's voice grew increasingly displeased when she mentioned the spear user and the transfer student. Sighing, Sayaka's Soul Gem flashed blue for a moment, and then it was a non-descript ring on her finger. "I don't know what went through Kyubey's head when he decided to make people my age fight monsters instead of having the adults handle it," she huffed and crossed her arms, thinking. "But I do know he's a good guy who's helped keep us safe for a long while now so I'm sure he has his reasons."

Tales of Trebizond, Shut Hell
Empire of Trebizond, Unknown Church

The Palmetto wrote:Then, a rift opened, and the metal pieces began to glow.

For the first time in a long while, Shut Hell felt at peace. If she had told herself from a few months ago that she'd be riding tired and defenseless with the Tiger Man she so loathed, she wouldn't believe it. However, the world had a funny sense of humor.

It was with uncharacteristic gentleness that she traced a finger along Harabal's clothes, spelling out a request in Tangut, the language she and Yurul had bled for. Harabal said something in reply but Shut Hell simply smiled in return, her ears failing her.

Ah, she could feel herself slipping away. Slowly, but surely. Her vision was darkening, everything felt so light, so calm. Was this how the old ladies back in her hometown died? Shut Hell knew the answer to that, but at this moment, she decided to not linger on the issue. Someone was calling her. Was it Yurul? Harabal?

She opened her eyes...

And found herself in an opulent room with needlessly wide spaces. The bandit was bewildered to say the least, especially when she realized she actually had the strength to stand and move. In fact, it almost felt like she hadn't been injured at all!

In panic, her own hand grasped her throat, and felt the marks of a incredibly deep wound that should have been fatal. It had closed, not flawlessly, but enough that she needn't worry about it suddenly opening.

Then, there were voices. They spoke not in the mutterings of Mongols or in the many languages of the Middle Kingdom, but she understood them nonetheless. Faced with such strangeness, Shut Hell went to draw the Jian at her hip from its sheathe, only to be stopped by her other hand.

These men looked to be monks of some sort, not warriors. She need not shed blood this day, however, that didn't mean she couldn't keep one hand at her sword's hilt. Just in case.
Prusselanden wrote:"Fear not, humans...God has sent an angel to your aid. For I am his messenger."

He sprouted two wings from his back and popped out a holographic halo from his head.

The Bandit looked at the winged man with a clearly confused expression. She had seen many strange things in her life, but a man with wings and a strange glow above his head was still a novelty. He spoke of being a messanger from some god too, but which god she could not tell.

For now, the bandit decided she'd turn to one of the more normal monks for an explanation. Shut Hell turned to look at a priest and raised and drew her Jian so that she could point it at them. Her scowl was murderous in intent, and posed a very clear statement even without words. Explain, or this bit goes through your skull.

Drawn Through the Multiverse
Altair let herself smile as she looked over the area that the strange portal had brought her, closing her eyes slowly and shaking her head. "Oh wise and powerful Creators, is this the best you could find for a cage?" A children's story, and yet... She could not see a way out, it was interesting to have such a well built cage with such a different tone. Would the world accept her, or would she simply be repelled and pushed back into the Creator world, a question that would be answered in time she had no doubt. Her eyes focused upon those who stood out of place, the humans who moved to the town hall while carrying one of the creatures with them. Her little smile expanded across her face as she walked closer to get a better look at them.

While she had stayed out of their line of sight, but there was something wrong with this, the people before her were clearly creations but Altair couldn't recognize them. They had not been brought here with her Holopsicon, but as quick as she had asked the question to herself the rift opened to show the truth of the universe. The pink blob was yet another departure from the existing theme even more, this audience was quite accepting if they would allow it into the ranks of the diverse world without rejection. Her silent observation was broken only by another man, and his sudden authority in stopping the group, showing yet another shift of setting and tone. Were the Creators simply mocking her at this point? Throwing in new characters on a whim, without regard to what the audience would accept? Well it wouldn't last long at any rate.

The cage was firm, but the audience would break it for her when they failed to accept her being this restrained. She stepped toward the group, she had little sympathy for them, but perhaps they could help her break the yoke of the world? That would be an amusing backfire for the Creators, to have their cage simply be another tool to assist her. She made a grand bowing gesture as the attention turned to her, the thin little grin on her face showing more about her personality than she would like. "The abominable Gods that created us all have brought you here too?" she looked to the sky, grinning to it as if she could see those who no doubt looked upon her, adoping a mocking tone "Are these my playthings or yours, oh great and wise Meteora?"
