Should we add war to nationstates?

Like it could be simple: nations get the choice to turn on war mode, where you can invade or get invaded. After a winner emerges the nation that was defeated will remain captive for 2-3 days until release. Then it will have temporary protection from invasions for maybe like 4 to 5 days

No, it has been stated that Max didn't, doesn't, and won't ever add war.

Axuva Today Network [ATN] Today we announce that the Axuvian Government now recognizes The Russian Language as an Official Language, Korean and English were spoken in the beginning, but there were Russians too, russians were forgotten and their language were not recognized due to the things they did in the past, but now their language is a official language of Axuva, and there will now be 3 official languages instead of two.

Voluntary partipiciation might work...
but this one looks a bit too bland in my eyes.
Will the winning nation be able to decide the issues for the captive?
Then it will have temporary protection from invasions for maybe like 4 to 5 days

... or until an attack by the protected nation ofc?

War should also affect your nation negatively(they are costly, especially for the defeated side)(economy down health down defense forces down environment down healthcare down industries down economy down)

Trust me, it's not the first time I've grinded this axe and it's not going to happen. In the strictest sense of the word, this is a game yes, but in reality it's more like a bunch of forums whereby I have no real intention to participate. The best thing for you would be either A: give up waiting and abandon this "game". B: do like I do and simply click through your issues and be done with it, which is the most basic form of participation required or C: join all the hullabaloo on all the different forums in here and enjoy that if you will, but don't expect the nature of this site to ever change, no matter how many people ask for it how many times over. It's an archconservative group which rules over it. Trust me I've dealt with them before.

This, however, requires consent from both parties so it might get added if it is popular enough.

That's what NationStates 2 did with war and it was terrible.

(Well I mean the whole of NS2 was terrible, from what I remember, but this is strictly talking about the war feature)

No it won't.

The mods and admins have said probably hundreds of times over the years that they will not be adding a war feature to the game, it doesn't matter how 'popular' the idea is.
