Personally, I think that we need to have an auction house to facilitate buying and selling. Right now you need to look for a specific card, but if we can browse all cards for sale then it would really help increase sales and level prices.

I'd quite like to see a link to a person's card trades on their forum profile page. That way you can easily click on a forum poster's icon and check their trades without having to click through their nation page and cards page before reaching the trades link.

A heads up on your Deck of which cards have waiting buyers would be nice. I notice that there is a heads up when you open a loot box, for this.

It would be quite cool, if as you took part further in NationStates (perhaps become a WA member, or create an issue, or increase massively in population) that your Rarity would increase. It'd give a direct correlation of value to taking part more in the game.

A way to trade cards - ie swap between two Nations - would be useful as well. Sometimes you just want to swap a card they have for one of your own that they may want.

Some sort of controls for selling between puppets at way less than junk price.

The money used to buy/sell cards to be called 'noncents' since they're not cents, and this game is April Fools nonsense.

I also have a sneaky suspicion that the rare cards are dealt out based on a different algorithm than the common/uncommon ones. Like rares are handed out based on time or x number per hour per nation. The regular commons and uncommons feel like they're handed out as a percentage of nations on NationStates, but because most people don't play the game, they're not being picked up in the numbers they ought to be, and are actually more rare than some epic cards.

Ya know, I dunno if its been addressed here or somewhere else, but some things that I think would be absolutely amazing would be the organization of decks, and a global marketplace.

Hear me out.

Right now, quite a lot of people are buying cards (well, at least I have been) of a certain region. It would be a lot easier to see which cards you have of that region if there was a sub deck in your own deck labeled as the region its in, showing you x (amount of cards you have) out of y(cards in the region). Just a little nice.

The second would be a global marketplace, with selective organization (alphabetical, price, rarity, etc) so you can see what the recent trades are, and get a good idea of what cards are popular.

Just my two cents.
The beatings will continue. Regardless of morale.

I list all cards I don't want at junk price for collectors and it makes my trade list impossibly long. Some method of showing/sorting by sold/bought/wanted would be great.

I second the idea of showing/sorting the region of cards.

i also try to do this, it can be very time consuming. A button on a person's deckpage that could show a browser all the cards the owner is offering for sale would be great

Perhaps some feature where nations can form alliances either call them companies or businesses, etc so to perhaps people can work closer together.

Better trading and information mechanics, the ability to sort my cards into subdecks (keep vs sell, for instance), the ability to sort my wanted/for sale offers and modify them from one page.

But most of all, some purpose to it, some kind of integration into the game so that the cards you have affect your nation - and possibly the nation of the card you hold. For instance, holding a card can mean your nation trades with that nation, so some of their economy (and other factors?) rubs off on yours. Maybe regional influence increased if your card is valuable, or owned by a lot of people in your region.

I would like to see something along the lines of a minigame that could be played. Like not on the lines of Magic: The Gathering, but like some sort of iteration of the nation face off thing that we have already.

The issue of players being forced to place public one-penny offers to transfer their cards between their main and subsidiary nations should be addressed: I believe that is the main flaw that led to yesterday’s controversy. Ideas to resolve the issue include the gift functionality, and card swaps, amongst other similar ideas.

If there were greater chances of getting multiple copies of my card out of the loot box so I in turn sell. My card rarity is epic and that's worth something. Even maybe ajustable tax rate to put on your card every time it is sold.

I would really like if I could sort my cards into different collections, instead of having them all organized simply by rarity. Some of the cards I have are simply cards of friends or people I know, some are my own puppet nations, some are vanity items, some are just entertaining to collect, some are a combination, some... well, you get the point. There are all sorts of ways one might go about collecting cards, as we've clearly seen throughout this week. When I look at someone else's deck, I want to be able to clearly see what sort of collector they are.

I think 4 things would be useful:
A minimum sell price that's the same as the junk price
A way to gift cards without paying anything.
A trade mechanic, The ability to put down a Nervun and Fris and have someone else give you a Reploid Productions directly in exchange.
A way to sort your cards besides the legendary/rare/common tier. So you could have a "deck" of everyone in your region and another "deck" of all your forum friends.
