Te Whanganui a Tara, 31 March — The AEL industrial plant in Taeletos City is forecast to deliver two hundred million NationStates Dollars worth of digital electronic circuits and electro-optic technologies to the nineteen countries by the 2019 third fiscal quarter, contributing to positive terms of trade for the exporting powerhouse that is the Aristocratic Trade Republic of Taelete. Te Whanganui a Tara, 2 April — This morning, Handelsregister (Register of Companies) has announced that Mödzell-Yohannesische Werft GmbH, a shipbuilding company from the Regency of Lindblum, will set up a naval manufacturing facility in the outskirts of the Union of Sovereign States founding nation’s industrial heartland with reported figures of 180.3 billion Quertz russling (1.7 billion NationStates Dollars or Universal Standard Dollars).

Adlerwerke Land Systems, with its ‘extensive commercial presence’ is one of the few companies in Eredion that have the facilities to oversee the construction of up to three hundred thousand deadweight ship designs, with its track record of making machinery and parts for bulk carriers, tankers, and extended container ships. It has recently tried to move its focus towards the construction of logistical ships, partly to help deliver its exports of land based weapon systems and tanks, and partly to open up the nation’s shipbuilding sector to more responsible foreign investment.

Members of parliament will debate this latest issue of nation state significance next month.

This fictional entity (VMK) is a compilation of mainly [ Fictional NationStates Modern Technology ] (FNSMT) free-form roleplaying contents, meaning that other NationStates nations or players as well as buyers and suppliers connected with us can wave away or quite simply not acknowledge certain roleplayed content related to this entity that they disagree with.

For the purpose of technological explanation, some designs (and some systems used by some designs) in this storefront are completely Modern Technology (e.g. Commonwealth Navy aircraft carrier, Pz.Kpf.W AY1-1A ‘Arctos’ tank), whilst some designs (and some systems used by some designs) contain some Post-Modern Technology elements (e.g. Pz.Kpf.W AY2-1L ‘Panthera Leo’ tank). When in doubt, ask the managers by telegram (or in the thread directly), and they will be more than happy to answer your questions.

By reading the historical thread created by Yohannes in November 2014, titled “A Call to Fellow NS MT/PMT Storefront Owners”, readers will learn about the history (or at least a brief summary, since 2004) of how the Global Economics and Trade sub forum (and to an extent, the informally acknowledged etiquette of roleplaying technological related things on the International Incidents sub-forum) arrives at its current destination, today in 2018.

1.1. Purpose

This Responsible Storefront Management contains rules and set of guiding principles for the Out of Character conduct of operating the storefront VMK Defence & Steel Works. It is not intended to diminish or restrict the privileges, rights and freedoms of roleplaying which are enjoyed by other nations or players.

1.2. Definitions

In Responsible Storefront Management, amendment includes a new clause.

Free-form means the ability of other NationStates writers to freely ignore or reject the existence of your nation and its storyline, in character existence, roleplay history and activity, etc.

Fictional NationStates Modern Technology means the collection of designs and technologies created by fictional bodies (e.g. NationStates designers, storefronts, etc.) which does not follow the definition of, and interpretations concerning the term Real Life Modern Technology. A design which falls under the Fictional NationStates Modern Technology category does not have any of the following characteristics: (i) violates real life principles (e.g. laws of physics); and (ii) contains speculative technology that lies between strictly modern technology and future technology (for more information, see the thread [ NationStates Post-Modern Tech Community Thread ] by The Macabees in the International Incidents sub forum).

Real Life Modern Technology means the collection of designs and technologies created by fictional bodies (e.g. NationStates designers, storefronts, etc.) which follow the definition of, and interpretations concerning the term existing designs and technologies in real life. A design which falls under the Real Life Modern Technology category does not have any of the following characteristics: (i) has better technical data, statistics, or specifications than their real life counterparts; (ii) violates real life principles (e.g. laws of physics); and (iii) is not based on existing real life designs or technologies used already by real life armed forces.

Existing designs and technologies in real life means designs and technologies, civilian (non-military) and miltary, which have been used by real life countries (e.g. the United States of America, Federal Republic of Germany, the Russian Federation, etc.) and their armed forces in real life. The term Existing designs and technologies in real life does not include designs and technologies which are classified as “technologies under development”, “technologies already researched but have not been used by real life armed forces because of lack of funding or money in real life”, or “military and non-military patents which have not been proven to work in actual conflicts, military crises, or wars in real life.”

As Sacrosanct Bank’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Banker, he has pledged to provide at least 16.3 trillion Quertz russling (153 billion NationStates Dollars or Universal Standard Dollars) in financial package for Yohannesian small and medium sized manufacturers over the next fifty years. Kimbaland unveils thirty billion NationStates Dollars navy deal

Te Whanganui a Tara, 4 April — The Kimbaland government has confirmed it will sign a 3.2 trillion Quertz russling (30 billion NationStates Dollars or Universal Standard Dollars) contract to purchase six Royal Beaufort Shipwrights Guild ships and one ZM-7L aircraft of the Royal Lindblum Company, as it unveils its first strategic military procurement programme to the international community, Imperial Herald has discovered.

The procurement was originally planned to be announced during Ambassador Helena Wölfflin’s first day in Kimbaland next week, Office of Embassy and Consulate Programme sources confirmed this morning.

The purchase of the eight escort ships for the national navy of Kimbaland is reported to be one part of the nation’s remilitarisation programme, with other important Kimbaland contractors included as domestic partners and chain suppliers for RBSG and Royal Lindblum.

Representatives of Royal Lindblum has declined to comment on the export of its ZM7-L Dreadnought aircraft to Kimbaland.

Te Whanganui a Tara, 5 April — Bellevaria’s Crown Metals today put the first specialised F class high strength steel for Royal Beaufort Shipwrights Guild’s Waarden-class cruiser in one of its slab casting machines, paving the way for the eventual full production of its shipbuilding grade steel plates destined for the continent of Yohannes.

The occasion was attended by officials from the Shipbuilding and Exporting Committee, which awarded the fixed-price supplier incentive fee contract to the Bellevarian company; a guaranteed part of the Agreement for Equal Trade and the Connecting of the Nineteen Countries Economy with the Economy of Bellevaria Act 2015 enacted almost three years ago.

This consequential commercial agreement will meet the original project schedule for the delivery of new machinery, spare parts, and supply inventory for Royal Alexandria Shipbuilding Incorporated’s construction of three Waarden-class cruisers, which will be constructed in the continent of Yohannes. It will then be fitted out in the Democratic Republic of Backatri for fulfillment of procurement contract to the Backatri Navy. It follows three years of cooperation between Crown Metals and Royal Beaufort Shipwrights Guild, assisted by the Bellevarian commerce ministry and endorsed by the Thirty-sixth Christian Democratic Executive Council.

“For three years now, Bellevaria’s metallurgy industry has thrived thanks to government efforts at encouraging specialisation in new high performance maritime steel products and technologies”, a company spokesperson told Imperial Herald. The entire procurement contract process has been endorsed by the Democratic Republic of Backatri’s defence ministry, which has pledged — with prior agreement from RBSG — to resell the six ships “at a profit”, over a five-year period, to an anonymous buyer.

“This first production signals the successful completion of the ship design stage and the beginning of production work”, says Nazzareno Marciano, Government Procurement Policy Manager for RBSG in Crown Metals.

“This contract for our specialised high strength steel plates, one key part for any responsible shipbuilders, is obviously being watched eagerly by the end user: the Backatri Navy and the Backatri government.
