Don't get me wrong, this is a fun game, and I enjoy it as much as the other guy, but think of the "inconveniences" this might bring.

Two ways this can go down, things get overhyped than the announcement of SSB coming to Switch that this "mini-game", completely changes the face of Nationstates, and the game itself could turn into some Dungeons n' Dragons or whatever those card games are. Nationstates could become a card game itself in the future, with players paying attention more on cards and significantly less on the main features itself.

Another way this could go down is a massive deflation, which just sucks :/. There isn't much of a 'hype" or "point" when one acquires a legendary, and thus the minigame is a nearly broken game due to it's reputation of the deflation of "excitement".

A possible alternative could be a N-Day kinda thing where the card minigame could occur once every year on a specific week pertaining to cards or collecting, with new twists or strategies that would be implemented and created within the game.

Tl;dr, things don't look as good as ya think :P

I like the cards, but i don't like how much time it takes. Maybe it could be one deck a day, with different "generations" every Easter- so we can also have april fools. Then you could collect multiple legendaries for the same legendary nation, or see yours evolve in the rankings
