The entire country voluntarily trains themself for war from youth because being successful in war is considered the way to achieve higher status. Strongarmia is essentially an Honor society perhaps tamped down a bit by modernity and practicality.

In addition, there is a warrior elite class that are taken from orphanages and some are the orphaned young children (no older than 4 in either case) from countries Strongarmia has invaded. These select few children are raised from childhood under the protection and authority of the President himself who's administration cares for and trains these warriors called Spartans.

It is often difficult to convert and assimulate most newly conquered areas because most modern societies don't fit into the Honor Society that Strongarmia has. Thankfully, the freedom individual regions and states in the Strongarmian empire has usually helps. Also, there are times when it is possible for Strongarmia to assimulate parts of defeated armies because the enemy soldiers may see joining Strongarmia as a chance for glory and riches (looting is considered a common military practice in Strongarmia) and may not see it as a betrayl to thier home country because of the freedom to choose their own laws each state has even when the military is chiefly federal.
