Greetings!

I write to you now as our nation begins tumultuous times in its newborn sovereignty. Recently independent, we have decided it would be best to immediately set upon a course to procure for our nation the necessary armaments to ensure we do not become obsolete in the modern age.

DAT-B91 "Hamster" SPA x 240
Stridsvagn 107 Light Tank x 30
Pz.Kpf.W AY1-1A 'Arctos' Medium Tank x 20
Pz.Kpf.W AY2-1L 'Panthera Leo' Main Battle Tank x 2
Pz.Kpf.W AY2-1E 'Panthera Tigris' Main Battle Tank x 3
Pz.Kpf.W AY2-1B 'Panthera Uncia' Main Battle Tank x 5

Our order comes out to a total of $1 016 000 000 ($1,016 billion). Given our nation's restricted defense budget (less than $9 billion annually), we would request that the order be extended over 2 years, to prevent our department from being overextended.

We thank you sincerely for doing business with us.

Stopping Further Export to Foreign Nation States

Postby Yohannes » Mon May 29, 2017 1:28 am

Stopping Further VMK Export to Foreign Nation States

Image... stopping further VMK export to foreign nation states...

Te Whanganui a Tara, 29 May - Two-way trade between VMK AG and foreign importers totalled around the tens of trillions mark, according to Erika Halstenfortein, a prominent Professor of the Economics from the University of Halsten of the Kingdom of Lindblum, one of nineteen countries in Yohannes.

It was overall, however, in favour of overseas nation states, as Yohannes fell into trade deficit starting from the mid eighties because of VMK AG – meaning the nineteen countries import more than it exports to friendly foreign nation states because of outsourcing of countless number of manufacturing overseas; with no less than one thousand foreign headquartered companies supplying VMK end products, leading to loss of not just much needed taxes, but also capital, jobs, and assets that instead should be kept in Yohannes. Finance Minister Robert Scottish, speaking on behalf of the Governor of the Bank of Yohannes, has confirmed that ‘… the imbalance of trade was largely driven by VMK, where foreign nation states are benefiting in the trillions for heaps of the orders we fill, and we export yearly... that is not good, and is quite simply not acceptable, to be honest.”

Her Majesty's Government could therefore be forgiven for the realisation of the tabled resolution, 'VMK Domestic Act', which meant that any and all future commercial and industrial activities by thousands of companies, related with VMK, must be kept in the nineteen countries. For obvious reason, Chancellor Thorndon-Stevensonn, defended the act and assured foreign diplomats in Yohannes, that 'jobs and industries that are currently located overseas... related with VMK, will be kept as they are. Annual production contracted to governments already connected with VMK will also stay, meaning they will still receive VMK products. This limitation of total non-exportation and complete domestic activities are to be made into reality only after the date of the act. So no nation states already connected with VMK operations will be affected by this... admittedly very significant change. This will, however, stop further VMK export to foreign nation states.'

For 2013, Yohannes' VMK related trade activities logged a two-way trade deficit of 1.3 trillion Quertz russling to more than one hundred VMK supplier nation states, going up significantly from the previous year’s high of 1 trillion, with exports of composite materials and electronics relating to new aircraft manufacturing products and civilian shipbuilding again being the highest contributor of deficit. The last government to acquire a VMK export contract, with armaments to be delivered every year to that government, was Pherdistan. 'No new contracts of foreign nation states after Pherdistan will be filled', confirmed the Chancellor this morning in Royal Yohannes morning talkback radio.

The Bank of Yohannes has, meanwhile, balanced the deficit inflicted by VMK operations, continuing the trend seen since 1983 where VMK has continued to become a burden for the government, and the Bank of Yohannes, benefiting from investment towards VMK related operations in hundreds of foreign nation states overseas, acted as pillars of support for the overburdened, overworked arms manufacturing giant, balancing the trillions of loss of income caused by VMK multinational operations.

People's Unified Airforce receives half Trillion dollar modernization Program. VMK Defense and Steel Works and Halcyon Arms receive massive orders

Mejico City
Republic of Mejico
People’s Unified Federation

After the war in Red Star Union, as normal, the People's Unified Navy received the bulk of the Federal Funds to rebuild and resupply their massive forces. However, the People's Unified Air Force has proven time and time again their military and offensive capabilities. Despite their serious, if limited, military records, Most have often viewed the Air Force as simply the Aerial portion of the Reserve Guard, focusing on Coastal Defenses and occasionally supplying the Navy and Army units doing the real work.

However, after the recent Defense Budget Extensions, the Senate and Parliament have authorized a massive updating of the airforce. Including the infamous F/A-60 family of aircraft from Halcyon Arms and the ZM-7L ‘Dreadnought’ of VMK Defense and Steel Works.

Although these two aircraft make up the bulk of the orders, many additional craft, including modern Drones, Long Range Detection Aircraft, Command and Control Aircraft, as well as new Patrol Airships, are all included in the upgrade. To offset some of these costs, the Federal Military will be selling off portions of its aircraft reserve, mostly Su-47 Berkuts and Tupolev Tu-95s.

Te Whanganui a Tara, 16 March — The Kingdom of Saudi Ancapistan has announced it will be spending eight billion NationStates Dollars to buy two hundred main battle tanks, its latest international defence purchase amidst tense diplomatic relations with its neighbours.

The deal for the Pz.Kpf.W AY2-1B tanks was announced on Friday by the Saudi Ancapistan Ministry of Defence and Halstenmetall’s Head of Strategic Procurement Egon Göring at a military hardware conference in the capital city of the Kingdom of Alexandria.

According to the kingdom’s news agency, the commander of the Royal Saudi Ancapistan armoured division said the deal “will be instrumental in augmenting the capabilities and efficiency” of Saudi Ancapistan’s army.

Lindblum military technology group Halstenmetall will act as the primary contractor in the deal, although it was officially signed with the condition that other Saudi Ancapistan contractors will be included to act as domestic partners and suppliers.

“We are proud to have signed this contract that expands and kick-starts Halstenmetall’s international relationship with the Royal Government of Saudi Ancapistan”, said Emily Kirchweger, the nineteen countries Minister of Economy, Industry and Trade.

In exchange for this, we desire a guaranteed and first nation preferential treatment towards Yohannesian importation of Gandoorese industrial-grade steel and titanium products and AH32, DH32, EH32, AH36, DH36 and EH36 shipbuilding grade steels.

Gandoor and Yohannes invest into bilateral oceanic trade

Image... the widespread use of the Jakarta Class very large multipurpose bulk cargo ships is set to realise further efficiency gains in industrial minerals and metals transportation from Gandoor to the nineteen countries.....

Te Whanganui a Tara, 15 May — The project will increase the competitiveness of Gandoorese industrial minerals and metals in relation to shipments from other nations in Greater Dienstad, which were historically the nineteen countries’ major suppliers. The ultimate beneficiary will be Gandoor’s industrial steel and raw materials industries, which are set to increase to become serious export earners for the Democratic Republic.

The 395,000 deadweight Malaya is the first in a series of eleven very large multipurpose cargo ships ordered by the Gandoorese Ministry of Foreign Trade and Commerce’s approved company Gandoorese-Yohannesian Ore and Metal Shipping, on the strength of a long-term contract with various Gandoorese industrial mineral exporters and producers. The ship took on her first load at the Port of Gandoor City in May.

Malaya signals the beginning of a massive stage of new investment in very large cargo ships to fill the trading sea routes between Gandoor and the nineteen countries, as a result of the Gandoorese Minister of Foreign Trade and Commerce Ami Yamada’s decision to approve the exporting of various Gandoorese minerals, industrial-grade steel and titanium products, and AH32, DH32, EH32, AH36, DH36 and EH36 shipbuilding grade steels to the continent of Yohannes to feed the commercial shipbuilding need of the nineteen countries.

This morning, Emily Kirchweger, the Minister of Economy, Industry and Trade of the nineteen countries, has announced her plan to contact various serious investors from Imbrinium, Lamoni, Mokastana, Tekeristan and elsewhere to help fund the expansion of Gandoor-Yohannesian oceanic trade.

“I believe that the widespread use of the Jakarta Class very large multipurpose bulk cargo ships is set to further improve efficiency gains in industrial minerals and metals transportation from Gandoor to the nineteen countries in 2018.”

Te Whanganui a Tara, 16 May — Dumolanc and the nineteen countries signed a trade agreement yesterday which will kick-start commercial and industrial relationships and increase trade between the two nations.

The Dumolanc-Yohannes Alleswerken Trade Agreement was signed by the People’s Republic’s Representatives for Foreign Trade Gage J and Matt J and the nineteen countries Minister of Economy, Industry and Trade Emily Kirchweger yesterday. Chancellor Annabelle Thorndon-Stevensonn and Dumolanc Premier Corgan J was present to formalise the signing in the capital city of Royal Alexandria.

“With the deal signed, Dumolanc electronics and electrical engineering exporters and Yohannesian arms manufacturing exporters will gain greater access to each other’s markets across many industrial sectors”, said Dumolanc’s Premier in a news release yesterday. “This deal will further eliminate tariff on most Yohannesian arms manufacturing exports in the People’s Republic, giving greater access to government procurement for our small and medium sized enterprises.”

“The same benefits will also be enjoyed by Dumolanc. The Yohannesian market for electronics and electrical engineering will offer opportunities for entrepreneurs and electronics and electrical engineering exporters in the People’s Republic.”

Summarising the key benefits of the agreement to the senior press gallery this morning, the Premier of Dumolanc said: “Over the next ten years, Dumolanc will gradually eliminate tariffs on more than three-fifth of Yohannesian exports here, meaning there will be potential savings of about 20 million NationStates Dollars each year.” The deal will also see the People’s Republic committing itself to liberalising government procurement regulations for Yohannesian arms manufacturing industry contractors.

“Following the precedent established by the agreement with Greater Nifon, investment rules can be decided between the two nations with a framework to promote mutual investment flows, where Yohannesian investors can benefit from the agreed protections for investment, including with the use of a Dumolanc-Yohannes investment court system to ensure essential safeguards and transparency requirements are realised... in relation to the rights of both nations’ governments to regulate with public policy motives and public interests in mind”, the Minister of Economy, Industry and Trade concluded.

Upon our last inspection of Birtonian forces overall, we have discovered that many of our current systems are either outdated or outclassed by foreign assets. Therefore, we are currently conducting a full overhaul of everything within the arsenal. After extensive research conducted, your company has been chosen to be a part of our new endeavors. I hereby formally request construction and transportation of five (5) Washington Class Nuclear Guided Heavy Battleships. You will find that the order form has been completed and attached to the bottom of this correspondence. Transfer of funds to your account will occur upon our receipt of acknowledgment from you. I have also proposed construction of two assets here in Birtonia, which I hope you will find agreeable and possibly obtain us some DPR's in the future.

The BAF is currently undergoing massive undertakings to replace all vehicles, aircraft, and naval vessels with more current designs. If you wish to accept these terms it will be of no expense to VMK, as Birtonian's will conduct the construction efforts. Te Whanganui a Tara, 18 May — Elected Collegian for the Fourth Lindblum District the Lady Danielle of Clare is in the Birtonian Port of New Jonson today to meet with executive team and workers of Birtonia Yohannes Shipyard Limited to promote her initiative in championing for a solid Birtonia-Yohannes Shipbuilding Partnership standard to contribute to Birtonia’s manufacturing sector.

The Lady Danielle’s visit to Port of New Jonson follows a recent press release at John Henry Memorial International Airport, one of Birtonia’s bustling industrial centres, where she announced the draft to the future Birtonia-Yohannes Shipbuilding Partnership Act 2020 that will further contribute to Birtonia’s manufacturing and shipbuilding industries in future, and increase commercial relationship between Birtonian and Yohannesian citizen sector players.

“For decades in the John Henry region, hard-working Birtonians worked to make many things: car engines, machine tools, office papers, ship parts. These manufacturing jobs have generated shared wealth for generations of local Birtonians and have secured stable prosperity for hard-working households across the industrial region”, said the Lady Danielle.

“Just like John Henry, New Jonson has been a pillar of that shared wealth and stable prosperity, and today, I say: I am proud to be their partner in the Electoral College, as we work together to realise our Made in Birtonia for Yohannes pledge and campaign for a solid Birtonia-Yohannes Shipbuilding Partnership standard that will drive local Birtonian economic growth and create good paying jobs that support hard working Birtonian mum and dad young families. My draft to the Birtonia-Yohannes Shipbuilding Partnership Act 2020 is about doing the right thing for workers in not just Port of New Jonson and John Henry Memorial but also across the Military Democracy of Birtonia, and I am urging my Elected Collegian colleagues back home to support the passage of this Bill as I table it through the various stages of parliament.”

“On behalf of my constituent district, the Fourth Lindblum District, also a traditional industrial heartland just like New Jonson here in Birtonia, I am happy to say that the Minister of Economy, Industry and Trade the Honourable Emily Kirchweger has decided to approve my Birtonia-Yohannes Shipbuilding Partnership campaign here at the Port of New Jonson’s manufacturing facility in the Military Democracy, as she has always been an incredibly strong advocate for VMK manufacturing jobs not just in the nineteen countries, but also overseas. Birtonia has supplied the continent of Yohannes with its good quality ‘Made in Birtonia’ machine tools, diesel engines, and grade steel products to the Commonwealth Navy and the Nineteen Countries Merchant Navy for over thirty years.”

Domestic Yohannesian pundits have noted that at present the Military Democracy of Birtonia manufactures ‘a good amount of the Merchant Navy’s machinery and equipments.’

“If realised as an Act of Parliament in 2020, the Bill will be good for not just Yohannesian industrial importers but most importantly also Birtonian manufacturers and factory workers. This Partnership initiative is forecast to increase the Yohannesian shipbuilding supplier industrial base and the Birtonian shipbuilding export output,” said Isaac Hidalgo of the Birtonian Department of Supply and Acquisition.

People’s Republic government invests two billion NationStates Dollars for arms deal

Image... Well... Dumolanc is not Ralkovia or the Scandinvans; that is, I do not see any slavery or any other things in contravention of existing World Assembly resolutions on human rights happening there......

Te Whanganui a Tara, 21 May — The nineteen countries has welcomed the possibility of a new deal to supply Dumolanc with fifty Pz.Kpf.W AY2-1E and seventy-five Pz.Kpf.W AY1-1A tanks, in addition to the one hundred military vehicles the Government of Dumolanc agreed to buy in January.

Thirty of those tanks have already been delivered, and a number of recent VMK corporate leaks to the press suggest that additional number is currently being discussed. However, all three Representatives for Foreign Trade of the People’s Republic have not confirmed this. During Dumolanc Premier Corgan J’s recent visit to the capital city of the Kingdom of Alexandria, Nineteen Countries Minister of Economy, Industry and Trade Emily Kirchweger told morning news and talk show Breakfast presenter Doll Henry, “We will see if there is a new deal... the signing of a new arms manufacturing contract between the nineteen countries and Dumolanc will be a good move.”

However, Bank of Yohannes analyst Artur Günzburg quoted ‘internal’ sources as saying that the Office of the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of High Technology and Industrial Security objected to the formation of the deal, having expressed its misgivings over the signing of an Alleswerken trade agreement just last week. Parliamentary Under-Secretary Paulus Spitzer said: “A scenario where Dumolanc will renege on this deal before the maturity of our previous agreement will result in a liability of at least one billion NationStates Dollars. A letter of guarantee acceptable to both parties has not been signed yet by the Commercial Bank of Yohannes... I feel that this deal [the signing] is a bit premature.”

Herald Press Gallery reporter Kate Bradtort reported that the initial letter of guarantee draft had been been rejected by the Dumolanc representative. She said that the ministry should try to avoid the possibility of underwriting any loan for any transactions concluded between VMK enterprises and the People’s Republic. When asked whether his office was blocking the deal, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary said on Radio Heartland, “It is natural that our office... we want to make sure that Dumolanc is able to pay for the order. In saying that, I am confident that a satisfactory agreement will be made with the People’s Republic’s Representatives for Foreign Trade.”

“I believe in the value of a well-detailed agreement over that of a hasty one. The Minister may want to speed the whole thing up, but my job is to tell her that, look, we can always wait for the money later. Let’s make sure that we got the details down properly first.” VMK war machines are one of the current focus of the People’s Republic Armed Forces’ efforts to expand its arsenal. The World Assembly, in accordance with Resolution #399 “Responsibility In Transferring Arms”, has reported for public information that Dumolanc is planning to spend almost two billion NationStates Dollars on VMK arms between 2015 and 2019.

The Head of the World Assembly Mission of the Nineteen Countries Elisa Wake explained the reason why the Thirty-sixth Christian Democratic Executive Council has approved this arms manufacturing deal before the World Assembly: “General Assembly Resolution # 399 defines ‘transfer’ as the movement of an armament from one member nation, in this case the nineteen countries, to another, in this case Dumolanc, and prohibits such movement only if there is reasonable evidence to suggest they will be used in contravention of existing World Assembly legislation on human rights.”

“Well... Dumolanc is not Ralkovia or the Scandinvans; that is, I do not see any slavery or anything in contravention of existing World Assembly resolutions on human rights happening there.”

“So why not?”

Although Lormotia is a peace loving nation, recent events in the region has required of me to invest in some... security. Unfortunately, due to a ban on cars and airplanes, our current tanks and fighters are lacking in advancement. However, don't be fooled, our infantry and Navy, are world class and armed with the newest technological advancements in the art of war.

It's time I bridge that gap. I would like to place an order for
-40 "KDF80 Vuurhaag Interceptor Aircraft"
-30 "DAT-A55 'Predator' Medium Tank"
-20 "Pz.Kpf.W AY2-1B 'Panthera Uncia' Main Battle Tank"

In terms of payment, a set of five ships should be arriving at your harbours with the payment in 5 parts, for security reasons, I hope you understand.

Please note, that these deliveries must be top secret. If another nation is to discover of this transaction, it will damage my reputation. Special encrypted delivery instructions have been sent... If you don't receive it, just, follow the coastline until you see the teal lighthouse of the coast of Sel Island Coast. That's the military base.

I am honoured to do business with a great monarch such as myself. Let both our nations prosper for all eternity.

-Barb Olaf, Tsar of The Kingdom of Lormotia

Kingdom of Lormotia opens border for Yohannesian investment

Image... Lormotia is driving forward to create jobs, lift growth, and unlock the inherent potential of its relationship with the nineteen countries in the continent of Yohannes......

Te Whanganui a Tara, 23 May — Halstenmetall AG announced on Wednesday that it plans to invest one hundred million NationStates Dollars to build a new electronics manufacturing facility in one of the Kingdom of Lormotia’s thriving industrial regions, as demand surges for tanks and military vehicles of its partner contractors. The facility will build components which make up parts of the T2009A3/4 tank’s X10-A battlefield combat identification system, with Lormotian contractors responsible for the domestic production of its Forza FB-12TSD engine system. “Other Lormotian contractors are also included as domestic partners and suppliers, creating good jobs for workers in the nation.”

Meanwhile, the Commercial Bank of Yohannes is planning to invest up to four hundred million NationStates Dollars and create hundreds of jobs in a new Lormotian industrial complex in a show of a faith in the drive to improve Lormotia’ share in Yohannes’ international trade network. William Fitzpatrick, Head of Overseas Strategy and Investor Experience, said the new complex will be located in the outskirts of the kingdom’s capital city, creating up to nine hundred high-paying engineering and technical jobs, and a further two thousand jobs in its wider Lormotian supply chain.

“Investors have agreed that the complex will go ahead as planned. We are now waiting for confirmation by the Lormotian foreign relations and trade representative to seeing its construction by January next year.”

The spokesman of the Tsar of Lormotia in the nineteen countries said the Lormo-Yohannesian partnership will improve the kingdom’s industrial capacity, as the government is pressing ahead with its ‘double manufacturing output 2020’ five-year plan.

“From exporting quality heavy machinery to supplying the latest shipbuilding grade metals, Lormotia is accelerating forward to generate employment, improve productivity, and release the inherent potential of its relationship with the nineteen countries in the continent of Yohannes.”

Maschinenfabrik Halsten facility to be constructed in the Tomanian Reich

Image... In order to meet the planned production capacity, Maschinenfabrik Halsten will invest six hundred million NationStates Dollars (NSD) in stages over the next four years......

Te Whanganui a Tara, 24 May — Maschinenfabrik Halsten AG, a Yohannesian mechanical engineering company which deals primarily with propulsion research and development and turbo-machinery, has signed an agreement with the Tomanian Federal Government. Under the agreement, the family-owned company will invest and construct manufacturing base in the outskirts of Tomania’s capital city. The factory will be constructed under a two-stage programme, with each stage to produce thousands of non-restricted components destined for at least two hundred VLT HPVS-MBT active hydro-pneumatic suspension systems.

In order to meet the planned production capacity, Maschinenfabrik Halsten will invest six hundred million NationStates Dollars (NSD) in stages over the next four years. Specifically, the company will invest three hundred million NSD in the first phase, of which sixty million NSD will be used in the construction of its headquarters and research and development centre in the Tomanian Reich, whilst the rest will be spent on the development and plant construction for the production of its first batch of domestically produced (i.e. in the Tomanian Reich) tyres, tyre air, springs, shock absorbers and linkages for the Pz.Kpf.W AY2-1L tank. The second stage of investment will be directed for the company’s capabilities in technological research and development and military suspension system development in the Tomanian Reich.

By 2020, the company has estimated that every single type of non-restricted components of the VLT HPVS-MBT model will be available for domestic production in the Tomanian Reich. Jörg Herschel, Director of Strategy and Business of Maschinenfabrik Halsten announced this morning that the company will finish testing for the Tomanian version of its Forza DFB-12ETDH Series A system, in the process gaining important industry data into relevant environment-protection field in accordance with existing federal regulations of the Tomanian Reich.

Five thousand Reborn German jobs to be created from recent agreement

Image... In May alone, German pundits and political analysts reported that “the fiscally interventionist foreign trade body has approved” five Yohannesian investments......

Te Whanganui a Tara, 24 May — The foreign trade body of the economically thriving nation state the Reborn German Empire has authorised for the start of a ninety million NationStates Dollars (NSD) investment project allowing Yohannesian aerospace components and structural assemblies manufacturer Motoren und Turbinen-Union Ardenfontein GmbH to open its industrial presence in Berlin, according to an announcement released by the Reborn German Empire’s Embassy Programme Office today.

According to the Reborn German Ambassador to the nineteen countries Kurt Schmidt’s post on his official twitter account, “The limited liability company will set up its new green technology factory in the neighbouring district to the Otto-von-Bismarck-Straße Number Twenty diplomatic and foreign trade enclave. Once opened for production, the factory will provide five thousand jobs.”

The foreign trade body, a government department in charge of approving large-scale investment projects by foreign enterprises in the German nation, started officially announcing its decisions to kick-start commercial relationship with the nineteen countries nation state owned enterprise VMK AG last month, a move which German government officials say will provide more opportunity for both German investors and members of the public to see the government’s commitment to increase output and boost economic development in 2015.

In May alone, German pundits and political analysts reported that “the fiscally interventionist foreign trade body has approved” five Yohannesian investments — all related to enterprises exporting their products under the umbrella of VMK AG; Maschinenfabrik Halsten AG, Motoren und Turbinen-Union Ardenfontein GmbH, Alexandros Babcock und Dampfkessel Werke AG, and Halstenmetall AG, to name four of them — with a combined total investment capital valued at nearly five hundred million NSD.
