That is a form of taking away rights.

I didn't say it's worse because it's not taking away rights. I said it's worse because the argument is ignoring the sheer gravity of genocide compared to gun control.

I never said that genocide is like gun control, I merely stated that both are forms of removing rights.

Or we'd just direct them to this thread like last time.
What would things have been like if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive? Or if during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? The Organs would quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!

Nonsensical hypothetical hyperbole. A holy trinity.

It isn't hyperbole. He was the one who compared gun control to genocide. I'm asking which one he sees as worse. Blame him if you think it's nonsense.

When I read that thread, people pointed out that a tank of propane and a few bags of ballbearings are much more lethal than guns.

I was also reminded of the pressure cooker attack on that marathon.

Banning guns won't solve mass killings.

Their plan was to blow the school up and shoot people as they ran out.

If the bombs they placed in the cafeteria had went off with full force a lot more people would have died.
