In the dominion of Imperial Zitravia (or as we call today, Zitravgrad), same-sex marriage has been legalized since in the early 1970s, which is reasonable in comparison to other nations in this universe. However, thanks to the strong conservative culture influenced by Eastern Orthodoxy, such marriage used to be deemed as shameful and practically useless, especially by the upper-class who hold noble titles and property.

Occasionally, when two men are married, one of them usually wears a veil much like a female bride and another will wear any kind of hat that obscures his face -- and both have to get their wedding done as quietly and low profile as possible to avoid embarrassment. The socialist government has been actively trying to end this and normalize same-sex marriage in the eye of the conservative.

During around the mid 1600s, western ideologues and philosophers attempted to set up a classical paradise on the shores of Hatterleigh. The project was somewhat successful, but as more folks migrated to Hatterleigh the citadel was inevitably absorbed into a normal town. However, during the Hatterlese revolution, the Hatterlese Gov't took much inspiration from these early thinkers. In modern days, the city still retains many structures from the early intellectuals who came to Hatterleigh to construct a city of aesthetics, ideals, and discussion.

During every arrival or public appearances of Reichspräsident Erhard Falkenrath; this particular march called the Badenweiler Marsch would play to signal his arrival by the German military band. The Minister of War, Manfred Graf von Blume, spent several years after the Glorious Revolution as both General-Field Marshal (Five Star) and the Chief of Staff. Due to his able restructuring of the German Army, his confident leadership and the way in which he came back to the Army to prosecute the Transvaal War, he became the first and to date only person in the German Empire to receive the six-star general rank of High Marshal of the Empire (Hochmarshall des Reiches). A Fun fact about the History of the Prime-world. In this universe, Spain wasn't created by the union of Castille and Aragorn, and the two houses would remain frosty after Castille annexed Granada. This means that The Spanish voyages to the Americas wouldn't happen, and so with Spain and Portugal not in a colonial race, neither did Portugal. This meant that, with Portugal busy colonizing Northern Africa and Spain within constant civil wars, The Americas were, for the most part, untouched until the Five city states of Asmundia declared independence from the Holy Roman Empire on 10 June 1548. Asmundia was formed by the five cities. The First Asmundian colony in the Americas was created when, a very very stupid (or lucky) admiral of the Asmundian Fleet accidentally found North America (he was planning on conquering Iceland instead)
Which, of course, triggered the colonial race between France, England, and Portugal. Asmundia's central role in the beginning of the Colonial race is often ignored, of course.

During the revolution, Skyhookedians learned to fight using Gun Kata martial art, it's hard to master, but once it's mastered, the gunslinger, who managed to do so, will be almost unbeatable in a gunfight. Most of us know basic moves, but only few truly mastered it.

The Spanish conquest party landed on Mesoamerica/Mexico in 1571 and not 1519 because they spent decades reorganizing the stagnant "Neko Empire" into their new empire and babysitting the rapid social and cultural changes in our islands out of fear of revolt- even if the administrative change was relatively peaceful. Funnily enough, 1571 was also a Ce-Acatl year. So the Aztecs were still shocked over their supposed gods returning and their base of operation in our islands still helped them vastly in conquering the rest of the continent.

TLDR: the conquest of the mainland Americas was postponed for 52 years compared to other timelines.
