i cannot find in the article where it says that, what i can find is this; Taking the projection to a more uncertain distance, the White British population would cease to be the majority in the UK by the late 2060s.

It's pretty good for me, but at the same time, it should not go overboard. What I meant is that a country will be much nicer if there are tourists visiting the famous landmarks, speaking their own languages and attracting the interest of the locals who might be interested to know more about them. In Singapore at least, talking in Burmese will attract the attention of the taxi drivers and before you know it, both of you are pretty much talking through the whole journey.

At the same time, I guess it can be bad in the sense that what if the foreigners demand more from the country, to demand that they make it comfortable for them, instead of focusing on the locals? I read a quote somewhere, goes along the line of "A country's purpose is to make it comfortable for its locals, not to accomodate every single one of the visitors." <- I might have paraphrased that a lot. So yeah, it's good to be multicultured, but at the same time, bad if every single policies done is to cater to the visitiors (loss of identity. I guess).

Having different cultures does not inherently benefit a country. I can see how you could have differences in cultures, but differences can be good or bad. You can get "good" aspects from cultures (new foods, entertainment, democracy and liberal values, new technology) and "bad" aspects from cultures (religious fundamentalism, ethnic/racial tensions, antiquated views on the role of racial minorities and women). It really boils down to the circumstances of each country. For example, there is no way in hell putting Israeli Jews and Palestinian Arabs under one country is a good idea, or in cases like China where the Han majority have been pretty much pushing out or absorbing every other minority for the past few centuries or so, but then there's places like Singapore, Canada, the US, etc. that are democratic, westernized, and united under a strong national identity while still giving room for minority groups to keep parts of their own culture while giving them a voice in government.

It was already explained to you that places like Uganda, Bangladesh, Sudan, Iraq, Uzbekistan or Eritrea have less opportunity and some of those are dictatorships. For some people its dangerous to remain. For example in Iraq or Uganda being gay is a crime and LGBT risk being thrown in prison.

Depends on what you mean. Diversity ain’t good or bad inherently. Multiculturalism can be great if there’s a uniting national identity and there’s a good deal of intermingling between cultural groups. Segregation, self imposed or imposed on others, is the enemy here.

I mean if you have two groups that both want each other to "fuck off" from each others area without making it a law I can't exactly see it as a negative. Especially if the groups historically hate each other's guts, and any other method might cause violence.

My problem with that is that it doesn’t resolve the problems between the two groups and could potentially reinforce it in the long term. They can’t be separate in every situation, especially in smaller nations.

Muslim women were allowed to own their own land long before western women. and were not culturally oppressed into taking their husbands surname. Also, culture is separate from faith. Also also, yes. It does work like that. Higher rates of development leads to lower rates of "breeding".

We maintained our culture from oppressive people. Soldiers fought in WW2 against the Nazis so that all walks of life could live an equal life. Not to preserve white culture. Thats what the Nazis fought for.
