We recognize dual citizenship for the children of Charellians born abroad (regardless of whether the birth nation considers them Charellian) and for Charellians who are granted citizenship by another nation willing to recognize them as dual citizens. In some cases, immigrants may receive dual citizenship if they have strong ties to both nations and we are on friendly terms with their homeland. This is decided on a case by case basis.

Incoming immigrants who pass the naturalization examination can hold citizenship with their country of origin (COO) if 3 criteria are satisfied;
1) If their COO is currently a part of the UN.
2) If Tsea Island and the COO are not in a state of war with one another.
3) If the COO allows them to retain their citizenship.
If all 3 conditions are met, then the immigrant holds dual citizenship with their COO.

Whether born abroad or an incoming immigrant, dual citizens must wait five (5) years before entering the armed forces or running for public office.
