Far too many normal, centrist political parties in this country, I think. Perhaps we need a healthy dose of vaguely authoritarian populism.

It looks like someone proposed a flag bill, so I created some quick mockups if anyone is interested:

Tried to take elements from historic Italian & Greek flags. Thoughts?

Resolved: An adversarial vote shall be held to settle the conflict apparent in examining Galatea’s ethnic and linguistic composition. Voters shall be made to choose between applying the language figures (Question 1) to ethnicity or applying the self-identified ethnic figures (Question 4) to language.

Rationale (OOC): I have already addressed this matter, and many have agreed with me. In essence, the figures are acceptable on their own, albeit incoherent when combined.
Resolved: Should voters opt to apply self-identified ethnic figures to language, the African and Aromanian (Vlach) populations shall fall from four and three per cent, respectively, to two per cent for both; in turn, the Albanian population shall grow by two per cent, now representing seven per cent of the national population, whilst the Galatean population shall grow by one per cent, now representing forty-nine per cent of the national population. In view of this change, the irreligious population shall fall by three per cent, with Christianity and Islam gaining one and two per cent, respectively.

Rationale (OOC): This facilitates ethno-religious strife, which was determined to have transpired by Question 11. I have reduced the numbers of Africans and Vlachs because the former’s historical role in Galatea is limited, whilst Vlachs have tended, as Serbia’s example shows, towards assimilation and identification with the nation’s principal group (Galateans).

I'd rather we'd have an existing currency rather than determine one. Would make it easier to determine various things.
