Organised illegal and semi-legal activity is rife in Fenton Island - even sections of the Police are at it. The largest group is the Columbian Mafia, who involve themselves in fraud, protection racketeering, prostitution, human trafficking and the gambling industry. They also have extensive property holdings on the island, especially in the slum districts of Docklands and Whitewater. Other groups include the White Brotherhood (white supremacists), Sharia Army (Islamic fundamentalists), Boskin Gang (insurrectionist anarchists) and the Runners (non-ideological).

Isola Serenissima is completely free of organised crime groups, at least the major international ones like the Mafia or the Hell's Angels. And because all drugs are now legal, this has put the narcos out of business by eliminating the black market.
This nation is now called San Prospero.

In Fatatatutti, "organized crime" is an oxymoron. Nothing is organized here and nothing is considered a "crime".

Some people do believe that the street trade in asparagus is masterminded by Alphonse (also known as "The Godfeather") but most people wouldn't use the words "Alphonse" and "mind" in the same sentence. For that matter, asparagus isn't even illegal.

Since the end of communist control in 2016, Pantopia has seen more organized crime spring up, especially in major cities. Although Pantopia has had organized crime in some sense since its earliest days, before the 1990's there was only one major group. That group, known as the Black Banner, began as a small smuggling ring in the 1920's, selling booze, drugs, and other banned items in Republica (then known as Victoria). They became very successful as the Imperialist government ruled with an iron fist. The Black Banner were early allies of the communist rebels, and became even richer by smuggling weapons to them. In 1947, the Banner used the chaos caused by the Pantopian Civil War to expand its reach, eventually having a subgroup in most major cities by the end of the war. The first Grand Premier of the new People's Republic, Jack Raymond, did little to confront the banner in his early years in power. Whether this was out of gratefulness or fear is up for debate. He eventually clamped down on some of their more troublesome activities, such as prostitution and human trafficking, but left their drug trade and black market intact. When Lionel Arkita came to power in 1959, he launched an anticorruption campaign and discovered many communist cadres to be in the pay of the Black Banner. By 1963, the Pantopian was openly at war with the Banner, and many leaders were arrested. Pantopian legalization of marijuana in the 1960s removed one of the Banners main income sources. By 1970, the Black Banner was dwindling, but stayed afloat by importing cocaine and opioids, as well as guns, into the country. The Banner made a major comeback during the late 1980's, when the Pantopian economy fell into recession and black market activity increased tenfold. Banner members at this time controlled many city governments at this time, especially in poorer areas. The Banner also made major weapons sales to the Brothers of Freedom, A growing anticommunist terrorist group that flourished during the early 1990's and which carried out many attacks during Pantopia's "four years of fear" (1994-98). So supportive were the Black Banner of the B.O.F. that the Pantopian government declared war on them in conjunction with the B.O.F. The large raids that followed led to the second deterioration of the Black Banner, and it never recovered it's former influence. During the early 2000's, a new mob was created by some of the more pragmatic of the former B.O.F. members. This was called the Uprising. Although they present themselves as a political group like the B.O.F., their activities are more akin to those of the Black Banner, and have made themselves a rival of that group. The Uprising and Black Banner began having violent confrontations in 2002, and have had gang warfare ever since, usually over smuggling routes and territory. After the fall of communist dominance in 2016, new, more localized gangs have arisen in lower income areas and have fought the 2 main gangs in cities across the nation.

In the Socialist Union, crime rates are very low. There is no Organized Crime. One reason why crime is very low is because the law enforcement in the Socialist Union is advanced enough to prevent it, and to protect the Workers of the Socialist Union. Another reason why crime is very low is because there is no need for it. There is no need for Organized Crime in the Socialist Union. With an advanced and stable economy that is determined by a Workers' State and that is for the Workers, and with plentiful of psychological services that are available, overall crime rates are very low.

Organized crime is something your hear every day in Barinive! If they comply to government laws (e.g. no murder, no violence) they are free to operate. They even sometimes serve the population with food and water, which some have a monopoly on in some areas, in exchange for collecting taxes from the areas they control!
They are also allowed to have their own militaries and police forces.
Nationstates!! (yap dollar)
