What property would you own in the world?

It's my first post so go easy on me please!

Imagine one day whilst walking to school a genie appears. He offers you the ability to gain ownership of 1 piece of property in the world. You could own a house overlooking the beach in Australia, a wooden log cabin in snowy cabin or an apartment building in New York. The property has to be private so you can't own the white house or something silly like that.

What would you choose?

I would like a chalet in Austria overlooking prime ski pistes. I don't ski but it would be the perfect chance for me.

I'm torn between two actually.

One the one hand I really would love a beachside hut somewhere that I could just chill at.

On the other hand a nice cozy cabin somewhere I can see the Northern Lights would also be really nice, but would probably require a bit more work to maintain.

The Kremlin. I'd sell it back to Russia if they pay me enough to retire on. I need $4 million or so. I'm not asking for too much. It is roughly $50,000 a year for 60 years plus $1 million to serve as a buffer against inflation as one lump sum. I know Russia is rich enough, gimme gimme gimme; I know they wouldn't regret it if I'm out of their hair afterwards.

A good-sized house (like, 4+ bedrooms) in London's suburbs with good transport links, good local schools, a park, decent nightlife and a garden

Alternatively maybe just the most valuable place I could find, so I can sell it and acquire said house plus a tasty retirement fund on top

I think I want a luxurious penthouse, with fancy facilities and services, wide room, and good infrastructure, with good road access, clean water, running electricity, high tech, etc

I've spent my entire life in Athens and I don't exactly hate the city despite it's flaws, so I would place mine somewhere quiet with good connectivity to the other areas (e.g close to a metro station) and away from ghetto or central areas. I don't care about the view or the accessibility to the beach.

I'd probably own a mountain valley, a few chalets in said valley, and connection to the internet. That will be what I want, but alas, I doubt I'd be able to function outside a city...

A big enough plot of land, maybe in Mongolia or the American plains, where I could build a house, keep up a bit of a farm. Make an artificial lake if there’s no water nearby. Plenty of room for horses

A castle on a private tropical island somewhere (probably the Pacific since the Atlantic gets too many hurricanes). Also, the island would have a huge gold deposit so I could mine it and get the money I need to maintain my home.

Plus, standard genie logic tells us that asking for "The Kremlin" and not specifying "the Moscow Kremlin" would get you some other kremlin, like the ruins of the Gdov Kremlin.

And then Russia would still murder you.

Something really expensive that i can sell. That way, i can afford more!

If that’s not allowed, i’d like a large cabin, with all sorts of the best technologies, flawless access to internet, electricity, water, etc. in the middle of a chilly and sometimes slightly snowy wooded valley, with a perfectly maintained asphalt road leading from it to a highway.

Wait, the choice is actually between a house in snake&spider country, a cabin in the woods, and a WHOLE APARTMENT BUILDING IN ONE OF THE MOST EXPENSIVE PLACES FOR REAL ESTATE?

Gimme the apartment building. Nao.

If I get bored with NY and really want to go skiing, just with the income from the rents I can get to live in a perpetual holiday in the best Gasthoefe in Kitzbuehel.

If the choice is "any piece of property", well, I guess I could settle for owning the Shard in London. Or the maybe the Gherkin. And then buy a manor in Cornwall with the rents I'd be getting.
