CORPORATION SPECIALITY: Vitality is primarily a pharmaceutical corporation that mass produces medicines used by patients and in hospitals worldwide. Because of its focus on pharmaceuticals, there's also a decent focus in cutting edge medical research and developing both new pharmaceuticals and transhuman technology.

HISTORY: Vitality was not founded in some location in space, by someone that had ambitions of conquering space, like some other corporations do, but in a country that's not necessarily the first one that people think of when they think of megacorporations. Specifically, Canada. The corporation had fairly humble beginnings and was founded roughly 40 years ago when scientist Cedric Li left the Oxis Corporation to found his own business selling cutting edge pharmaceuticals. Run by something of a troubled genius, Vitality quickly took off after the fall of Oxis, and would spread from its origins as a business for the rich. It soon became a corporation that mass produced its goods and sold them to anyone who would buy, at a relatively good price. That was part of their rapid growth. Slashing the costs of expensive pills led to more and more people flocking to Vitality, all while the corporation continued research and kept developing new medicines. Li, however, wasn't one to run a giant business like this, complaining that the business side took him away from his work too much. The stress would build up over time and the control of the corporation spread more to the shareholders than the CEO. Eventually, because of accumulated stress, Li "retired" by disappearing to the stars, boarding a spaceship and leaving to never be seen again. He left the corporation with his then 21 year old daughter, Adelie, also leaving her with the monumental task of keeping it together in his wake and keeping the shareholders in line.

SHORT BIO: Adelie Li was born in the shadow of her much more intelligent but also more troubled father, Cedric. Her mother wasn't in the picture after a nasty divorce, and she grew up with her father after a custody battle that she can vaguely remember from her earlier years. Ever since then, she trained to eventually take over the company, despite knowing deep down the entire time that she didn't have his genius. She wasn't going to be an industry leader in research. She'd have to rely on the company's scientists for that. Instead, she trained in speech and negotiations, hoping to do a better job than he had at managing the actual business side of the corporation. But she was thrust into the role of CEO before she was ready after her father's abrupt "retirement", and the company nearly fell apart because of it. She only kept it together via her willingness to use ruthless and underhanded tactics, and her strong speech skills that allowed her to play multiple sides of the corporation against each other while appearing as an ally to all of them. Despite the success, you could say the tactics killed her inside, making her a bit more of a loose cannon like her father.

STANDARD INFANTRY: The Vitality Security Group is a subsidiary of the main corporation that handles security for Vitality properties and businesses. The VSG often recruits from the streets and has a tough training process that can be compared to a traditional military. Because of the high amount of recruits that enter training every year, the corporation can afford to only pick the ones that perform the best under the pressure of the tough training. VSG officers get a good loadout in return for their efforts, with armor and weapons that put them head and shoulders above standard criminals like street thugs and the like.
STANDARD MFV/MECH: The standard MFV of the corporation is the Cyclops 6, a vehicle that isn't that flashy in the looks department and not super mobile. However, it makes up for it by packing a punch with its armament, having both gauss guns and a sizable missile rack amid other small arms. The mech isn't meant to look good and serve a wide range of tasks. It's mainly one big anti material weapon designed to blow away walls and the enemies behind them if the need calls for it, or to lead the charge and block small arms fire for the infantry.
STANDARD COMBAT AIRCRAFT/SPACECRAFT: The Raven Gunship is both a transport and attack vehicle for the VSG, with room in the back for passengers or cargo and an armament on the front that contains anti material railguns in addition to a high caliber lasgun armament. These gunships can often be found bringing officers in and out of fights with precision, or providing fire support from above.
