Welcome! This is the pamphlet for the NSIDC.
NSIDC stands for NationStates Intelligence and Defense Coalition. We are a branching defender organization, which means we try to protect the regions that cannot do so themselves.
This organization is focused on both the intelligence and military part of defense. This is the organization if you want to be a part of something bigger than yourselves. It also introduces you to raiding and defending.

Departments
Foreign Affairs & Regional Affairs: The NSIDC Foreign Affairs and Regional Affairs Departments are two of the most exciting departments to be part of the org. Individual nations/players will benefit from participating in the FA and RA departments because they get to go different regions and orgs and meet various types of people while trying to recruit regions to NSIDC, which means they have the opportunity to make new friendships and have the chance to build their network in NS.
As for regions, representatives of the Regional Affairs department is the bridge between the regions and the NSIDC and the first line of communication for regions who need help from the org. Headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Democratic Republic of Denland. Dolor Mortis is the newly installed Minister of Regional Affairs.
Military: NSIDC has a upstart military that does a detags and refounds. If a individual nation/player who doesn’t want to be overshadowed from their defender work that they do from large orgs like The Grey Wardens and TITO, then they can join the military branch of NSIDC.
Headed by the Secretary of Defense, Kanglia, who is a experienced defender and has been in organizations like TGW, FORGE and regional militaries like the South Pacific Special Forces and the Union of Democratic States Armed Forces, NSIDC can be a benefit to regions who don’t have a lot of members in their own militaries.
The NSIDC military would be sufficient to defend them from raiders. Even if in regions who feel like they have at least a decent sized military, NSIDC will be an added force to alleviate the region’s pressures to protect the region.
NSIDC would be a great way for regional militaries to be recognized in the defender world. If region is somehow loses their Founder, the org is more than happy to assist in refounds.

Intelligence work: NSIDC has one of the best intel departments in the NS world. This is the bulk of the organization's work comes in. NSIDC provides accurate and reliable information for other defender organizations and regions that used to deter raiders.
Regions can benefit from NSIDC’s intelligence work if they are afraid of raiders raiding them or they need intel work on suspicious nations that come to their regions.
NSIDC provides them info that they need for those circumstances,
as well as other, more nuanced intelligence.
