The vice prime minister, from Japan, to our prime minister Hiro "Miyamato" Musashi, is a woman, and she's poised to take over after he retires. She's younger, and came over here from Japan originally as an aid, but rose to the rank of Vice prime minister. He's been in power for 12 years and is rather old, so in so many years she'll probably replace him. She's apparently quite good at her job, too.

It isn't guaranteed since this is a democracy, but she's very popular and rather young for her position, so she could stay there for many years after he retires. He's in his late 60's and she's in her early 30's, having become vice prime minister at about 28.

There are no term limits here, so someone could stay in power for 20-30+ years if they keep getting reelected. As of yet no-one has been kicked out of power, but that could change if a bad prime minister rolled around.

The roles of our President are diverse.
