Excuse me, if you mind me asking, because I was not the first to say this: how do you figure out ways to start up a newspaper? I mean, are there any 'easy' steps to creating a regional newspaper, I guess?

You don't, NS++ is phasing out newspapers as per this post

Is there a reason next to none of the NS++ features are working?

There was a problem with the database. That problem should be eradicated with sufficient prejudice.

Should there be further problems since the 21st, please let me know.

Same here, Chrome 63 on Windows 10. Very annoying when you try to download your puppet lists just in case NS++ crashes but the page won't load for you :P

The recruitment feature is still not functioning and has been down for some time, I am not even able to access the information as the recruitment page won't even load.

That's not a bug, that's in the normal site.

It's probably not a random page for people who still have this extension enabled. I disabled it when it go so bad long ago - but that looks like the URL where you could see endorsement information.

At one point before I stopped using it, I had discovered that removing all regions from my dossiers made the endorsement information work better. Try that,

The "assembly" service (which is needed for NS++ settings, among other things) is down for maintenance. It should be back soon.

Firefox NS++

Postby Labyrnna » Mon Feb 12, 2018 6:58 pm

Hello,

I recently tried to download NS++ on Firefox and received a message that stated something like this, "Firefox has prevented you from installing an unverified add-on."

When I looked at more information related to this, Firefox says this:

"If an unsigned add-on is disabled, you won't be able to use it and the Add-ons manager will show a message that the add-on could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled. You can remove the add-on from Firefox and then reinstall a signed version from the Mozilla Add-ons site if one is available.

If a signed version is not available, contact the add-on developer or vendor to see if they can offer an updated and signed version of that add-on. You can also ask them to get their add-on signed."

Is there any way to get around this or is there any sort of plans to have the Firefox version of NS++ work at all regarding this?

Thank you very much.

For some reason, my main account can't directly link to posts like NS++ allows, like this:

Meanwhile, on all of my alts, that bubble shows up. Our settings are the same, so I'm not sure of the problem, anyone have a fix?

Mandatory add-on signing has been around for quite a while, but NS++ has shown no signs of getting signed. You may get around this requirement by using the Developer or Nightly edition of Firefox, using a fork of Firefox (like Waterfox) that will allow unsigned add-ons, or using another browser entirely.

To report a bug, whatever you did to skip the "change region" page and take you directly to the region in question also made it completely impossible to move to any region with a password (since it skips the page where you can input the password). I like the feature in every other respect, but that one aspect is annoying.
Maybe you could put a textbox below the button where people can input a password so you can keep the fast region change feature? Or maybe if that proves to be difficult or impossible, set an exception in the code to have it not activate if the target region has the "password" tag?

I can't imagine this wasn't accounted for, but it's very plausible that something may have broken. I'll look into it.

Question, is it possible to use NS++ through an android phone with chrome?
Lo! Here I lay upon the sands of fate,
With sparks aglow and new hopes await,
From this light we shall levitate,
And call forth the glorious Abydos state.
