Garret was a normal kid going to school, hanging out with friends, playing video games, practicing marital arts etc and he had a great bond with his parents Nancy Opal and John Opal. But when he was 8 he and his parents were returning home from a party when they encountered a criminal gang who attempted to kidnap them so they could use them to get one of their members out of jail. His parents resisted and in the struggle the gang killed his parents and took him hostage. They held him hostage for three days till the police broke in arrested the gang and rescued him.

This event left him with serious trauma. Through the next 5 years he lived in a foster home. During those 5 years in the foster home he went to therapy to deal with the mental trauma he had gone through. This therapy did help him move on from it but he still had PTSD attacks occasionally. Now while he had somewhat moved on he still was quiet and reserved most of time he would just wake up eat and just hang out in a corner or something.

This was his life until he was adopted. the family that adopted him was a family of 4 the parents the father Adam Dalph the mother Isabelle Dalph and their two kids their 15 year old daughter Serena Dalph and their 14 year old son Will Dalph. He was 13 when he was adopted and after about a year of living with them he slowly began to open up to them though he was still reserved and quiet. He began to practice martial arts again something he really did enjoy and made a couple friends there.


But when he was 15 he had a really rough day you see he had managed to get a girlfriend and made a small group of friends and a really god friend his best friend if you want to call it that. Well he learned that his girlfriend cheated on him with his best friend and they managed to convince his group of friends to side with them and they started spreading rumors. Combine this with a bad time in each of his classes well it was a bad day for him. He decided to go into the forest by his house when in a fit of rage he threw a fireball and used his strength to throw a tree.

He realized he had the power to control the elements and had super strength. He decided not to tell the Dalph family being sacred they would not accept him having powers. But he also knew he could not just ignore his power and he wanted to become a superhero for two reasons. Which were one he wanted to make criminals suffer for their crimes and two he wanted to make sure no one had to watch their parents die and be take hostage. So he decided to do this. He usually got home after school before everyone else and would have about a hour and a half to himself. So he would use that time to practice with his powers secretly. He also knew he would need a suit luckily there was a man who if rumors were to believed who had made suits for a couple of unnamed superheros. He secretly approached the man and after using the money he had made at his job and using some of his power to get some ore he got the man to agree to make him a suit and to agree not to tell anyone about it. He hid the suit and began to when he was alone to train in the suit until he was 17.

Adam Dalph had received a job in San Diego so they packed up and moved there. After arriving Gerald transferred to Thomsen High and thinking he was ready began to fight crime on his own taking up the name the Emerald titan.

Powers:

• [Elemental Control]: Can create and control fire,water, earth, and air
• [Super Strength]: He is very strong able to lift up monster trucks this also allows him to hit really hard.

Limitations:

• His elemental powers cannot create or control anything powerful enough to destroy a city in one attack
• Any attacks that could destroy a house takes time to charge up
• When he is using a element like fire he is weak to another and it goes like this when using fire he is weak to water, when he is using water he is weak to air, when using air he is weak to earth, when using earth he is weak to fire.

Weaknesses:

• [PTSD]: Because of that gang attack he sometime suffers from PTSD which can leave him unable to fight
• [Magic]:
• [He has a normal body]: While he is slightly faster and can take a bit more pain than a normal human seeing as he is in great shape he is still weak to bullets, knifes etc.

Likes: Martial arts, Video games
Dislikes: being unable to fight, being given special treatment

The team's just having a 4th of July beach party. And sooner or later our 1st mission is going to interrupt it.

Yeah. I figured that might have caused you to speak up about it Putting a hole in her head would be godmodding at any rate, and poor storytelling, both pretty big sins in RPing.

Your idea for the post sounds like a good way to introduce the character, we'll look forward to it.

Bio: Adrian was born to a fairly wealthy Norwegian couple that worked together on one of Delta Pharmaceutical's many branch offices on Europe. His childhood was a happy one, but not long after he had turned eleven, his parents took him along on a vacation to Bergen, where both of them died during the battle between Iron Chef and Necromancer, giving their lives to protect their child. Thanks to them, he survived long enough for them to be chased off by none other than the Queen of the Valkyries. He was alive, yet alone.

However, before the day was over, a powerful magician intent on repairing the damage caused stumbled across him and had mercy on the orphaned child, taking him back home and adopting him. Though at first he was very quiet and reluctant to interact with anyone else, in time Adrian formed a bond with the magician and his adult son, and eventually grew bold enough to ask his father to train him. The study of magic, he was told, was not for everyone, but even so, the magician agreed to teach him, and was surprised by how quickly he was able to grasp the basics. He was not the greatest, certainly, but before long, Adrian proved himself capable of mastering magic one day, and so he was taken to train with the sorcerers of the Phantom Brotherhood, where he spent the next years.

During his training, Adrian developed a peculiar thirst for knowledge and experimentation that would eventually lead him astray. One day, in secret, he attempted a ritual to summon a being from the dimensional crossroads and bind it to his will. The ritual was partially successful, but the creature was too powerful to be controlled by a mere child, and began wreaking havoc around the room. The noise caused by this led the magicians of the Phantom Brotherhood to discover the incident and rush to the scene to attempt to restrain, banish or destroy the creature. In a last-ditch effort, the being, clearly outnumbered, attempted to possess Adrian. Fortunately, the Brotherhood managed to subjugate the creature even as it dwelt within Adrian, freeing him from its influence, though he was in turn used as a vessel to keep it contained, and was isolated from his family and the rest of the world and kept under heavy watch for a year, until he finally escaped and went into hiding.

After escaping from the Brotherhood and lying low for two years, however, Adrian surfaced again in San Diego, recruiting two other teenage superhumans to his cause and forming a group called the Cabal, working in secret towards an unknown goal.
Powers:

• [Sorcery]: Adrian is an adept at using magic, rituals and summoning spells in particular, though he dabbles in other types.
• [Shapeshifting]: Adrian can change his appearance at will and even give himself certain non-human features.

Limitations:

• Magic always requires a trigger: chanting/casting, runestone carving, somatic patterns, etc.
• In order to perform rituals, one of his specialties, Adrian naturally requires a lot of time and preparation; they are not the sort of thing one can employ in a fight, even if most components were set up beforehand.
• Summoned creatures can, if powerful enough, resist his influence or even ignore it altogether.
• His shapeshifting is almost purely cosmetic; he cannot gain significant abilities from changing the way he looks.

Weaknesses:

• [Squishy]: The average human being can literally punch his lights out if they try hard enough.
• [Banishment]: Spells designed to banish magical creatures from the realm of Earth can easily render him unconscious.
• [Magic Negation]: Any rituals or area-of-effect spells or powers that dampen or negate magic are especially harmful to him.
