History :
-1810s/early 1820s- wars on the continent, the continued oppressive conditions on the nation's plantations, and economic hardship lead to growing unrest, along with resentment directed at a notably heavy-handed and corrupt Iberian viceroy. Underground political cells aimed towards independence and abolition begin growing.
-1830s- full blown rebellion erupts across the country against Iberia after word spreads of a brutal crackdown against restless plantation slaves around Rio de Janeiro, exacerbated by equally botched responses. Rebel factions on the southern coast, the Amazon delta, and the interior of the Amazon see the most success. Ideological radicalization continues, with many plantation owners and other members of the gentry and upper class being targeted as enemies of the people (though a minority of the educated elite prove boons to the rebellion's efforts) and a more coherent agrarian syndicalist doctrine being expressed. More and more Iberian forces sent to quell the rebellions. Manaus and the Amazonian interior are the first to essentially become free of Iberian rule
-1842-43- Iberian forces see a series of defeats, culminating in several key turning point battles: the storming of Belem and capture of a number of warships by rebel forces after routing the Iberian army at the end of the Guama River Campaign, the Battle of Campinas (which led to a rebel army taking Sao Paulo), and the Iberian withdrawal from Rio de Janeiro after rebel forces managed to emplace heavy cannons over the city. The withdrawal from Rio marks the end of Iberian rule, and along with it, the end of slavery in Brazil.
-1843-1847- A number of rebel juntas and groups are now in place, with different armies and militias disagreeing over who should run the country. The breakdown of Iberian authority entirely cuts off many isolated regions of the interior. However, the Manaus-based Liberation Directorate of the Amazon manages to assert its authority with the use of improvised gunboats in the major settlements along the great river. Rebel leaders in Belem and the delta resent this, however, deploying captured Iberian ships and their own militia and artillery to fully assert the authority of their own separate separate Delta Syndicate. Meanwhile, to the south, many of the rural rebel leaders who helped liberate Sao Paulo come into conflict with the rebel sympathizers among Rio's urban elite.
-1848- Talks running from late 1847 between the Delta Syndicate and the Amazonian People's State (the renamed Liberation Directorate) led by Adriano Francisco Carlos Luiz Juan Maria Alcântara da Almeida e Fernandez Peixhoto of Belem (a revolutionary luminary who assisted in some way in most of the major rebel campaigns) lead to the creation of the Lower Amazonian Bilateral Authority between Belem and Manaus, to help jointly govern the regions between the two governments that had been in limbo or squabbled over by militias. Later in the year, the LABA forms an agreement with Rio's Central Revolutionary Committee, creating the Union and its constitution. Several other cities join, though Sao Paulo is initially reluctant until several ships from Belem offer a cursory bombardment its port at Santos.
-1849- Most of the year is spent integrating the various organs of each government with one another and trying to get a grip on the banditry plaguing many areas of the country. Revolutionary cadres are sent to isolated villages, and the government begins raising tax revenue and consolidating various militias and rebel armies.

Your claim seem to pan out to me, so I'll give the green light. The Frankish player has supposedly been tging back and forth with some of the other OPs, but I haven't seen anything from them OOCly in awhile.
