Name of Character: Amalia Strasburg

Picture or Physical Description: Standing at 1.8 meters, Amalia is not a short woman by any stretch of the imagination. She has a strong, athletic build that is the byproduct of many years as a soldier. Like many Imperial citizens, she is a bit on the pale side, though she can tan in the right conditions. Her hair is reddish-brown, and she has several freckles that dot her button nose. Her eyes are green, and her expression is often a serious one, whether she is on or off the job.

Brief Bio: After serving for her mandatory citizenship period in the Imperial Shalumite Army, this woman was scouted by SSI recruiters for her high marks in shooting and other necessary combat skills. Amalia is a skilled soldier who is cool under fire, thus making her exactly what her employers were working for. As far as combat is concerned, she is best left at middle-to-long range engagements where she can best utilize her Nashorn CAR. She was selected for this operation to replace the loss of Dietrich Haegler.

Name of Character: Derrick "Bonesaw" Kravchenko

Age: 35 years

Nationality/demonym: Argonian (Slovak Immigrant)/Human

Picture or Physical Description: Kravchenko stands 5'11" tall, with an athletic build shaped by an obsession with practical strength over pure size. He maintains a longer variant of his favorite military haircut and sports a short black beard he keeps well-groomed to what he considers a professional standard. Derrick's notable body markings are an Argonian Special Forces crest & sleeve on his right forearm and a Caduceus-centric medical sleeve on the opposite arm in the same place. The numbers '8443' run across the knuckles of his right hand. A '+B+' sits just below his collar on the right side of his neck, a 'NKDA' on the opposite side.

Brief Bio:

Born the son of Slovak immigrants who arrived during the opening days of the Argonian Modernization and subsequent civil war, Derrick grew up in a working-class family in the poorer 'Gills' district of Grayrock, the Argonian Republic's capitol city, where human immigrants tended to congregate in their own enclaves. Despite a few light run-ins with the National Police in his youth for vandalism, Derrick seemed to adjust well to living in a nation where humans were not a dominant species. When he came of age, Derrick enlisted in the Argonian National Army to earn citizenship for his parents (native-born children of immigrants like Derrick receive such status at birth) as an infantry medic. After several years of service with the 5th Airborne, Kravchenko applied for Special Forces Selection and was one of the first humans to receive an SF designation as a medical specialist. Several more years of service followed during the upswing of insurgency operations in the marshes until Derrick finished his second five-year tour and left the Argonian military to pursue a career in emergency medicine in his home town, quickly snatched up by the National Police to serve as an attached medical specialist for one of their tactical teams stationed in Grayrock. Kravchenko found service with the ever-present ANPF tedious and put his friends and relatives on edge. After only a year on a Tac-Team he applied for Blackwood Company and was sent through their operator vetting course, where he was assigned to SMT-17 'Granite' as the team's medic.

Nationality/demonym: Israeli (not necessarily RL Israel, but any one of the RP'd versions of Israel in NS that come to mind)

Picture or Physical Description:
Short and slightly stocky (approx. 165 cm), bronze like palor to his skin; Muscular, but middle aged with some extra weight. Some greying at the temples, but still retaining some dark wavy hair.

Brief Bio: Shlomo Ari-Galan grew up in Tel Aviv, a tough city kid that knew he was destined to fight for a good part of his life. When his parents sent him off to his uncle's kibbutz to get away from the crime, he ran away and found his way back, surviving and fighting his way through the desert. As soon as he was able, he reported to the IDF before his mandatory conscription could even take hold. While he was an excellent soldier, as expected, his officers recognized that they couldn't waste such talent as his in a mere regular infantry unit. He was trained for recon and scout missions, and eventually scooped up for the Sayeret squads by one of the top commando officers who watched for such promising young candidates. There, he made selection for the Mat'kal, the most elite of the Sayeret.

It was with the Sayeret Mat'kal where Shlomo really shone, not just in soldier skills, but in covert abilities, where he was extremely adept at blending in to many populaces, despite a very typical Jewish demeanor and stature when not on duty. Subsequently, he often worked with Mossad teams on some of the nastiest black operations that will never see the light of day on paper.

His motivations for making the leap to private employ are still not clear, but several factors can be taken into account. The black ops he did for the Sayeret Mat'kal might have had him questioning the end goals and politics of the nation he loved, thereby burning him out for such work. Plus, there's rumor that his cover was blown and so his usefulness to the IDF special operations command and Mossad was at an end. Another theory is that he was a special pet project of Xavier Marchand, the Intexa Director himself. Director Marchand can be very persuasive when he wants to bring on certain personnel.

Whatever the case may be, Major Ari-Galan has served with distinction for several years now in the ranks of the USG and saw extensive action and most notably led major units into combat during the Hutanjian contract. He successfully commanded the defense of Ibex FOB, Nesselberg, during the attack by overwhelming UFF forces. He led Lambda during the invasion of West Cardwith where the USG commandos were able to penetrate deep into Cardwithian territory. He was personally responsible for saving several dozens of lives during the Anjoux evacuation.
After the war, he has worked extensively on other, smaller contracts. His most recent stints have been working with Intexa contracting teams, scouting out potential clients and gathering intel on the ground.

Name of Character: Jean-Baptiste A. G. Dubois

Age: 24 years of age

Service Record: Five-year service in terre Australes's 3rd Régiment de Cavalerie "Frontière", an elite Hussar group stationed in Fort Georges in the Australian outback. He started his carreer as a rifleman, but climbed the hierarchical steps of the military and rapidly became a team leader, commanding 4 men. Participated in a major Armée de Terre d'Australe training in the outback, and saved the life of a dehydrated conscript. He was dishonourable discharged after he allegedly killed a man in a bar fight, and has been ridiculed for being an alcoholic. He's been trying to sign up for PMC work, but this hasn't worked out for him.

Brief Bio: Jean-Baptiste was the 5th born of an Australais family in Pérf. The family was headed by a devout Roman catholic father, who worked as a labourer for the Nouvelle-France Railroad company. His mother was also very religious, and came from an ultraconservative family. He didn't do well in school, and found mathematical sums very difficult. He eventually graduated with a low degree. He thought about entering the timber business, logging trees and working hard. When he was eventually conscripted into the military, he felt at home, and he wasn't pestered by the others due to his inability to calculate or be good at school. Due to this feeling of fraternity, Jean-Baptiste decided to stay. He was very ambitious and hardworking, and requested to be part of the 5th Dragoon Battalion of Australia's 3rd cavalry regiment. His request was accepted, mostly due to the generosity of his COs. He eventually became an alcoholic when his mother died, and was dishonourably discharged for killing a man in a bar fight. Jean-Baptiste had been sober for more than a year, but the military wouldn't let him back in, so he decided to become a mercenary: fighting abroad for a greater purpose and better pay.

It's a little spammy, if you're not interested in applying for the RP, but I will indulge...

1. A dedicated OP.
2. A dedicated group of RPers who won't quit, with no inherent rush to speed up the pace of IC events.
3. A solid storyline with a well explained chains of events.
4. A healthy respect for each other's RL commitments, which might take us away from NS for weeks at a time.
5. An intense curiosity of all involved to see how everything turns out.
