Because honestly, that is my fault for not putting up that rule when me and Beia talked about it. I did not list it since most of the apps were either single lightsabers or had good reasons to have a non-single lightsaber. It was not needed I thought for me to say that but, I was wrong. But, if you are going to ignore Beia who is only a Co-Op but also helped to make this rp and then you should just leave this thread.

You also mentioned something about wanting to use dual lightsabers, correct? That would be allowed as it's a more-or-less common thing, but, again, it should make sense to your character's skill level. If you can barely use a single lightsaber having two at once may be difficult right from the start.

I imagine Revlona misinterpreted that as a single saberstaff, rather than the single bladed lightsaber that you meant.

I did actually, sucks that where going back on what it says in the OP and that I'll have to make my 5th edit to my app for no apparent reason

As for Canon vs Legends, it's kinda mixed with Legends usually taking preference during conflicting lore (but not always) and it will usually be addressed as it becomes needed. Regarding lightsabers, I'm under the impression that a Jedi should be in-tune with the crystal via the Force or else it's just a cutting tool and not a true extension of one's self. Hence, the new Jedi need to make their own personal lightsabers at some point with crystals that respond to them. Being that you already have a lightsaber, you could try to maybe turn the crystal already present into your own by connecting with it?

Generally speaking, you should be willing to make as many edits as necessary if the OP calls for it.

Palpatine had most crystal locations mined out or put under strict guard iirc. He may've destroyed a few.

Species: Morseerian
Appearance: A Morseerian, taller and bulkier than average for his species, with grayish skin and five fingers on each of his four hands. He generally wears ankle-length long brown robes, with slight modification for an armoured breathing apparatus that supplies him with methane gas.

Background: Palik was born in 14 BBY, at the height of the Empire's power. His mother, Nemma Mons, was a smuggler who had a one-night-stand with another Morseerian on Nar Shaddaa, then discovered she was pregnant days later. Though Palik was a witness to his mother's illegal activities, his job was merely to lift boxes and look legitimate for Imperial inspection, and he rarely left the ship itself. The reason for these restrictions was that his mother feared to introduce him into her dangerous life at such a young age, given the harsh punishments the Imperials were increasingly known for.

When he was eight, Palik wandered off his mother's ship while it was docked on Taris to deliver a shipment of arms. Palik accidentally gained the ire of a local gang member while he was exploring the spaceport, who pulled a shiv on him for "looking at him funny". The gang member struck at Palik, but time seemed to slow down for Palik, and he was able to dodge the blade. The gang member tried to attack Palik again, but before he could he was shot through the skull by Nema. The experience was traumatic for both Palik and Nema, but it also lead to Palik beginning to suspect he was a force-sensitive.

Palik had been born in the age of the Empire and he understood, as well as a child could, the dangers the Empire posed to a Force-user. Thus he kept his burgeoning abilities a secret from everyone, even Nema. Palik began to push his limits further, though without a teacher his abilities could only go so far - he was able to enhance his reflexes and speed, and occasionally able to sense objects that he couldn't see, but never anything beyond that.

As Palik grew older, his mother began to reluctantly include him more in her "business", and soon he was doing far more than lifting boxes. Nemma never had strong opinions on the Galactic Civil War, though for obvious reasons the Rebels were more in need of illegal arms and medicine shipments than the Imperials, and thus she made something of an enemy of the latter. Two years after the battle of Yavin, when Nemma docked at a spaceport in the Expansion Region, a squad of Imperial troopers surrounded the vessel and demanded she come in for questioning. Nemma reluctantly agreed to do so. Palik wanted to come along as well, but his mother insisted that he stay on the ship and wait for her.

Palik was indecisive about whether he should follow Nemma's instructions or make a heroic attempt to save her from what he assumed was a trap. After hours of waiting and pacing, he ultimately decided he would use his crude Force abilities and his mother's blaster to rescue her from the Imperial interrogation. Just as he was finding the blaster, however, he felt a sharp, cold pain in his chest, like he was being stabbed by an icicle. His mother was dead, he could feel it. He had hesitated too long.

Stormtroopers began to surround the docked ship and Palik was forced to take off, fleeing into the Outer Rim. Palik, despite his youth, took over his mother's business, using her former connections to establish his reputation as a smuggler. Unlike his mother, however, Palik dealt exclusively with the rebellion, indeed a shipment of arms he supplied was integral to arming the Pathfinders who fought on Endor.

After Endor and the creation of the New Republic, Palik sought an official pardon from the new government for his support during the Galactic Civil War, which he received. It was during this ceremony that he encountered Luke Skywalker and revealed his force sensitivity, whereupon Luke took him on as one of his new apprentices.

Five years later and having recently completed his training under Luke, Palik serves the new Jedi order loyally.
Lightsaber: Wields both a lightsaber and a shoto, both of which have blue blades
Equipment: His two lightsabers, tools for repairing and maintaining his breathing apparatus, a DL-44 blaster, and a HWK-1000 light freighter, the latter two inherited from his mother
Skills: Palik is a self-taught practitioner of the Jar'Kai form, reviving dead dual-lightsaber techniques for a new age. He has developed his own techniques that take advantage of his four-armed biology by allowing him to manipulate the Force with his two free hands while he wields his lightsabers with his other hands.

Palik's time on his mother's smuggling ship has made him a competent mechanic, a good-enough shot with a blaster, and an excellent bluffer. He is fluent in Morseerian, Basic, and Huttese.
Weakness: Jar'Kai requires intense concentration, Palik's modified form doubly so. If something can distract him from actively coordinating his arm movements, his fighting ability is essentially nonexistent. Palik's breathing apparatus is another physical weakness, as its armouring can only do so much to protect it, and Palik simply cannot survive without it being functional. Finally, Palik has his species' proclivity for secrecy, in his case manifesting as an obsessive desire to be self-sufficient. Palik will go out of his way to hide his problems from those around him, viewing asking for help as selfish.
