Mr Jackson looked very interested at that. "I would hate very much to be a drain, but we had a few ideas in the chloride reactor area we wanted to try out. After the simplified metal-cooled reactor, though."

"Alright, but try to make the design fit within one of our testing areas. We only have so much space Mr Jackson."

He smiled and nodded. "Of course, of course. This would be after the decommissioning of the sodium reactor test! We'd use the same facilities, but replace the reactor once that is through. I would hate to take up that much of your resources at once."

[Bruke]

"Good, good. The last thing I need now is controversy." The Director looked a bit stressed, having gone without sleep for a whole week.

[Elvectica]

The Director smiled knowingly. "You want the long version or the short version? The short version is that Parliament gave us a blank check to develop our nuclear industry. I don't work for a Ministry of Science and Technology- that doesn't exist here. I work for the Development Ministry, and their job is to develop our economy and strategic industries. The Development Minister has free reign to spend its budget as they wish."

"Well! I wish our government could be more like that-- focusing on powering the nation more effectively. I do commend you for that. Especially since we're a large corporation, we've been getting hit by regulation after regulation."

Madison watched silently and listened to the other talks between the representatives and leaders in the INRO.
She then looks at her phone, after she receives a message;

"Hmph, speaking of a Ministry of Science and Technology, Elvectica just sent the Ministry of Science to come over and discuss further projects. I hope that doesn't add too much to this stress you're feeling?"
She says, looking at the Director, still looking a bit stressed.

[Bruke]

"The hardest part was convincing them to give us the start up money, but after that... They were happy to give us more. That's our bureaucracy for you: very cautious at first, more supportive later. I do look forward to meeting representatives from you government, hopefully they'll be supportive too."

Dr. Hong Xu Tang of DEC enters the greatly built building, and expresses many thanks after meeting the Director.
"We look forward to many co-operations with the other companies and agencies" he told the Director.
It seemed to Hong that many of the other members were already talking and, coming in later then the rest, Hong listens patiently to what the others are talking about, hoping for a chance to add in anything.

"Welcome Doctor Tang! We've just been discussing what our companies have been working on. Tell us, what has the Dragon Energy Corporation been working on? Have you developed any unique technologies or innovations?"

[Bruke]

"I have heard that your Science Ministry is coming to Dub City to discuss further research. Is that true?" The Director looked eager to meet with these officials.

[Elvectica]

(Excuse the weird time, it's been a long time since I posted here, sorry!)

It's been a few days since Madison of the Atomica Corporation first went in their meeting room, but after an exhausting long conference, she slowly droops out of the room.

"My.. sincere apologies, Director, for being in that conference room for so long. As your government would know, Elvectica is currently embroiled in civil unrest, with an unruly Queen at power. We're getting word that she wants us to pull out of the INRO, and if we don't, our private assets will be confiscated by The Crown. We hope you understand our frustration. We're currently working how to avoid this."

(Excuse the weird time, it's been a long time since I posted here, sorry!)

It's been a few days since Madison of the Atomica Corporation went out of their meeting room, but after an exhausting long conference, she slowly droops out of the room.

"My.. sincere apologies, Director, for being in that conference room for so long. As your government would know, Elvectica is currently embroiled in civil unrest, with an unruly Queen at power. We're getting word that she wants us to pull out of the INRO, and if we don't, our private assets will be confiscated by The Crown. We hope you understand our frustration. We're currently working how to avoid this."

The Director thought for a moment, and then smiled slyly. "I think there might be a way for you to preserve your work, no matter what the Crown does." A briefcase was opened, and a file folder was found and placed on the table. "Where is it, where is it.... here it is! "In the event of government or organizational pressures that pose an existential threat to an INRO partner, the Ministry of Security authorizes the use of various facilities to relocate critical personnel and hold research data, prototypes, and other valuable information and until such time as the threat is over." In other words, ma'am, the Government is prepared to store whatever you can ship out of the country for as long as is needed. If things ever get too risky, you and your company are always welcome to relocate whatever and whoever you can here. We'll do our best to keep you all safe."

[Bruke]

The Director received word through a phone call. The decision had been made. The time for action is now. "Miss Madison, would you mind coming with me please? It seems the situation in your country is dire enough as to require that you and other Atomica employees go into hiding. Please gather your things, time is of the essence."

[Elvectica]

Ambrozy looked up, surprised.
"Oh? Who was that on the phone? I don't-"

Madison, as well as the employees in the research centre were unaware of the Coalition in Elvectica.
Quizzically, she pulls out her phone as she receives a text

"Well, it looks like we'll be staying here for a while then. Even CEO Wilford Davidson is coming along with the board of directors. They'll be temporarily staying here until the crisis dies down."

She gathers her things, and Atomica employees frantically start packing stacks of research papers and plans away.
While hurrying along, she asks the director,

"Er... could you please tell us what's going on?! I don't know if even the CEO knows what's happening!"

[Bruke]

"You and the other Atomica employees are being evacuated by RNIS to a safe location, deep underground. You're going to Anibesa yegena- The Lion's Den. It's a network of bunkers that connects important sites like the Adminstration Building, Royal Palace, and Government Annex, designed to shield the Government in case of an invasion. It also connects to a second network of bunkers designed to be safe evacuation points for civilians. It's quite comfortable and all, but when we go down there, you'll have to not use your cell phones and other devices. Only use the devices issued by RNIS. They're encrypted anyways, so your government cannot find you."

[Bruke]

The Director stopped them as the group reached the elevator. "Get ready for a long ride down....." One floor, then 7, then 25, then 50. It seemed like it would never end. But it did, on the 101st floor. "Here we are ladies and gentlemen! Your home away from home."

[Bruke]

"Agents Kelile and Zewedu are waiting. They will answer more detailed questions that are above my pay grade."

Agent Zewidu was waiting in one of the many offices of Sector 58, Room 7.



She walked out to greet the new arrivals. "Pleased to meet you all."

Agent Kelile was finishing up a late lunch in the other living room when he got a phone call from the Administration Building.



He quickly cleaned off his hands and face and joined Agent Zewidu. "Hi there! Welcome!"

[Elvectica]

Ambrozy looked at the two agents for a quick moment and approached to shake hands,
"Hello! We're from Atomica Corporation. I have to ask another quick question; are the other INRO members in no danger? Because it appears that we left in a hurry without the other leaders?
It seems that even the Elvectican government is in hiding now, they wouldn't answer calls when we were in the conference room."

She reaches for her phone, but then remembers the no cell service.
"Darn, could I get access to a phone? I need to check up on my family."

[Bruke]

Agent Zewidu took the first question. "We have only recieved orders from HQ to evacuate Atomica employees, as you are in imminent danger. If the situation changes, and the other leaders are threatened, they will also be evacuated, to separate locations."

Agent Kelile answers the second question. "Here." He handed them all smartphones with the recognizable lion and zebra seal of RNIS. "From now on, use these and only these to communicate with the outside world. To make an international call, dial 4, then put in the number you wish to call in intervals of three."

Agent Zewidu looked around. "Are there any other questions, or shall we leave you to get settled in?"

[Elvectica]

There is a short silence which was abruptly ended when a researcher comes from the back of the group, reaching his hand out,
"Hi, yes, I'm Dr. Thomas Hansen, pleased to be acquainted. I have just one more-- what does the government of Bruke have to do with Elvectica's national affairs? We're in agreements, yes, but is there some other alliance we need to be aware of? I'm getting word that your armies are preparing to deploy to defend Elvectica's government"

Weird, has the Director even told any employee about Brukean armed forces in Elvectica? Dr. Hansen suspiciously turns his personal communicator on while waiting for an answer...

[Bruke]

Agent Kelile spots Hansen's communicator and takes it from him, as Agent Zewidtu arrests Hansen at gunpoint.

Agent Zewidtu smiled knowingly. "You think you could pull that kind of trick on us? In your fucking dreams." She nodded, and Agent Kelile called for backup. Brukean soldiers soon arrived and escorted Hansen back aboveground. He was heading to one of the secret prisons RNIS had built to house suspected foriegn spies.

[Bruke]

Agent Kelile motioned to the rest of the group. "Are there any other foreign spies here? If so, we have special accommodations just for you."

[Elvectica]

The group awkwardly shows no response, and shakes their heads,
Ambrozy quickly leaps back into the front of the group,

"If I'm correct, we used to have some scientists and researchers sourced from VEXA Corporation when we had an agreement. We stopped relations when we found out they were stealing government data from us... I guess he was one of them that slipped by. Suspicious how they act like that everytime VEXA starts a war, or aids in some foreign conflict. I'll let you know if they show any strange behavior like that."

[Bruke]

"Thank you very much, that would be greatly appreciated. Does anyone else have any questions? Don't be shy, ask whatever comes to mind. We know this is a stressful experience, and we want to ease your stress as much as possible."

[Elvectica]

Seeing the exhausted faces of the employees, Ambrozy speaks for them,
"I think we all should get some rest while we wait for things to calm down. Thanks so much for this."
