Equipment: The trade mission is complete with a brahmin pulled stagecoach; several cases of munitions, food, and medicine on board. Isaac himself carries a 9mm custom Crimson pistol with a full magazine.

Biography: The Malone's were one of the most powerful families in the plutocracy of the NCR. In early 2100, Demetre Romara called upon the merchants of the NCR to band together, one of these merchants was Jack Malone. Together these men formed what is now known as The Crimson Caravan. Throughout the years, The Crimson Caravan became the single most influential group within the New California Republic, the Malone family riding along with the success. The Malone's became known for their ruthlessness and undying loyalty to the Crimson Caravan, they would die to uphold the honor of the company and showed more patriotic nature to it then their own nation.

Fast forward almost 200 years later, the Malone family was still one of the most influential families, holding the key to The Crimson Caravan. In 2255, Isaac Malone was born in the hub, the son of Carnegie and Alyssa Malone. The couples only child, he was the sole inheritor of the Malone fortune. Raised in an estate outside of the city, he was tutored by some of the brightest minds, often from the Followers of the Apocalypse. Isaac was a spoiled brat, yet cunning, charismatic, and most of all ambitious. Everyday he could he would sit in the caravan yard and watch the bountiful caravan's enter and leave, examining the process for any flaws that could be fixed to improve efficiency. His father was a proud man, at the age of sixteen Isaac took a clerking position at the Crimson office. Under his eye, routes and profits improved. He soon moved on to became one of the heads of the public relations office for the company. This is where he truly excelled, using his grand personality. At gala events he could be easily found by listening for the thunderous laughter of NCR politicians, he was the life of the party.

Isaac was soon granted oversight of the southern region, everything from the Boneyard down. He garnered admiration for the Company expansion to Baja by opening an office in the city of Rattletail. With all his success, his ambition still couldn't be quenched. He sought a position on the board of directors. Yet his life took a turn for the worse; he dived in the world of chems, alcohol, and prostitution. This led him to a run-in with the Mordino Family of New Reno. Soon a new friendship was formed between Isaac and the family which led to a deal in which Isaac would use company caravan's to run chems for the Mordino family. Isaac became more and more ruthless in his dealings, he would often siphon company money to fund his own schemes such as loan sharking and gambling. Although corrupt, Isaac still remained an asset to the company, being on their most charismatic and business-suave employees they had.

Soon the cheating, lying, and fraud that was going on under their noses was sniffed out. The company realized the damage that had been done by Isaac. They couldn't quite fire him, he was a Malone and his name carried weight but he needed to be dealt with. Instead of feeding him to the lions, the board of directors decided to starve him out. They wanted him as far away as possibly to minimize the damage he could do, as New Canaan and Vegas were to important, they decided to sent him north. Isaac was angered once the company ordered him to the Aurora region to open a new branch. He knew that the company believed he would fail and often be killed in the process, but he did not argue. He drew up his game plan and decided he would successfully build the Aurora branch also with other ulterior motives in plan. Soon, in exile, he left the comfort of his estate and headed north with four other individuals.

Other Company Members

Courtney Duchess: A beautiful young blonde around the age of twenty. She served once as the secretary to Isaac, yet the two had an affair. Knowing this, the company sent her along to accompany Isaac. He is very bright, once wanting to work for the Follower's as a doctor. She has been put in charge of the face of the branch aka the Officer of Public Relations and Marketing

Daniel Hill: A rugged man, some say he was one his way to join the 1st Ranger battalion but he was discharged for disorderly conduct. This led him to run odd-jobs such as working as an enforcer. He soon found his way into the employment of the Crimson Caravan. One day a drunken company official started a fight with some locals, Daniel saved him. This man was Isaac Malone, soon after the two began a close friendship, bonding over their love of women and booze. Daniel remains a loyal hound to Isaac and is Isaac's closest, if only, friend. He serves as Officer of Security.

George Bilstrom: A boring and timid but calculated ghoul. He was an accountant before the war, living alone in a one bedroom apartment. Being as brilliant as he was when it came to numbers, he easily found himself within the ranks of the growing Crimson Caravan. Somehow he ended up stuck in exile with Isaac. He serves as the Officer of Operations and Finance.

Chivas: A Hispanic teenager from the Boneyard. His gambling addicted father owed money to Isaac, when Isaac and Daniel came to collect, the father couldn't pay. Instead he offered his first-born son. The father signed a ten year servitude contact in which Isaac accepted and soon the young boy became the personal servant to Isaac.

Each character needs their own separate app or they'll be declared one of the many dead at the checkpoint you passed.

On the same note, all the gear pulled by the stagecoach as well as the brahmin would've been cut down by the gunfire as well, so just a heads up for that.

Biography:
Born on July 16th, 2244, in the Old Mormon Fort. John J. Townson was now automatically apart of the Followers of the Apocalypse. As such, he got himself an education under the tutoring of various amounts of teachers in the old fort. With a actual education under his belt, John J. Townson, who was now 16, went on to manage the logistical side of the Followers, ensuring that their supply stock was not in disorder. Working in a small office with other similar folk, work for Townson was mostly dealing with papers, counting, and the sorts with keeping check on items. When not busy with his official job, Townson was sent to do other tasks around the area and the old fort (medical care, translation of documents, etc.) One such outside job was to change his life for forever. Due to the lack of available manpower at the time, Townson, who was now 25, was sent to recover some medical and ammo crates from a rundown warehouse. When traveling to his lactation with a band of hired mercs, a gathering of raiders came about. Not surprisingly, Townson and the mercs were overpowered by the larger force of savages. With that, Townson was shortly sold into slavery, into the lands of Caesar’s Legion.

Miraculously, Townson was not treated so much like shit in a Legion outpost. Surviving based on his skills as he repair their advanced equipment, treated their sick (very rarely anyway), etc. Although given a higher priority than most other slaves due to his value, Townsend was still a slave under the Legion. Three uneventful months passed as Townson was becoming more of a staff member than a slave in the outpost. Upon his birthday, July 16th, when repairing a salvaged leather suit in a small shack house, acting as a personal repair shop. A ghoul of the name, ‘Doctor Purnell’, was sent to rescue Townson by the Followers. Purnell owning a debt to the Followers for saving his life, accepted the job. Being the sneaky cunt that he is, Purnell has no issue in infiltrating the outpost. Soon, Purnell had gain the “keys” to the slave collars via pickpocketing the small time Legion leader of the outpost. From there, Purnell made haste towards Townson, hiding from the sights of these who are still awake at this night. Making a long story short, Purnell manages to free Purnell from his collar, letting both escape in the shadow of the night.

Traversing through the lands of the Legion, Purnell follows the details given by the Followers well. Inturn, Purnell leads Townson back to the old fort. For the next 10 years, Townson stayed with the Followers, helping them along his time there.Upon about hearing about the massive migration that was heading to unknown lands. John J. Townson packed his bags and said his goodbyes.

Three uneventful months passed as Townson was becoming more of a staff member than a slave in the outpost.Upon his birthday, July 16th, when repairing a salvaged plasma pistol in a small shackhouse, acting as a personal repair shop. A raiding band of bloody super mutants came by to say “hello.” Of course, upon hearing the chaos that is happening outside. Townson grabbed what was in the shack and booked it. Now alone in the wasteland with a map in hand, Townson wandered through the Legion’s territory. Took some time trying to figure how void the partols, watchtowers, and the sorts. But either by skill or sheer luck (which is a rare sight for him) Townson managed to not get himself caught again.

From there, Townson arrived in the Free Zone of Las Vegas. Instead of going back to the Old Mormon Fort, Townson went on his own accord. Wandering back and forth between the two territories of the Las Vegas Economic Zone and the NCR. Later, Townson stumbled a abandoned bunker filled with goodies (hydroponic farms, research equipment, meds, etc.) And for nine years, he used this place as a home as while he did many activities (self-research, jobs, trade, etc) over the nine years. Until at the age of 35, Townson heard about a mass migration towards unexplored lands. Curious, the lad packed his supplies, and shipped off any remaining items that he could not carry, back to his old friends at the old fort via a pirate caravan contract. Paying 1, 200 caps for the job, leaving him broke.

There's an issue of escaping Legion slavery by running, and not having the bomb collar around your neck go off.

Though he is quite possibly intelligent enough to disarm his collar, reading up on knowledge before hand, that just coincidentally applies, is awfully, well, coincidental. Additionally to my knowledge Super mutant bands on the west Coast are extremely rare, and most are settled and are mostly peaceful, the only canon reasons for Muties to raid would be food, which is plausible, or hostages to make more Mutants, though the latter is extremely impossible considering most if not all FEV sources that could turn people into Mutants are gone, destroyed, and most Mutants that are left are remnants of the Master's army, or the Enclaves experiments.

The main problem though, is that in the rp, all your Specials and Skills and such have uses, and with a luck of one, even if they could get the bomb collar off, it would be likely to go off before they could disarm it or such. Then there is the gear, Some of it, just is not possible to have canonically.

Why would the legion have a plasma weapon, exactly, isnt that kind of against their creed?

What are you confused about?

How does the S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats play a role in the rp?

That's partially my fault.

I fully intended to implement stats, SPECIAL, and perks into the RP, but didn't know exactly how to do so until recently. At somepoint everyone's going to have to ad a perks, level, XP, and skills section to their apps.

Could the caravan of five be hit on a separate occasion and the two survivors (Isaac and Daniel) link up with the main group several posts later?

They play much the same part as they do in game, albiet less bound to game mechanics.

For example, a man with 1 str, or even 0 Strength would be extremely weak, , a person with 10 could lift a vehicle with great difficulty, a person with 11 could lift several cars with relative ease, ie some difficulty.

Low luck means you are more likely to have accidents or such, perception means more observant, Charisma means how well they speak, etc.

generally, anyways.

Well, just call me unlucky because I'm going with that 1 luck stat. Just need to re-work my app and the sorts. (Plus being the most god-like speaker in the world with that 1 Charisma stat, you know. HMMMMM.)

The other locations through are blocked by a kilometer long minefield and rubble, respectively.

The only way in at the moment is the checkpoint everyone else passed through, and it's basically a mix of The Glowing Sea, and The Divide at the moment.

Do you suggest I just start with the group or I can still hit the pass right behind you and get hit by raiders? Therefore I would lose the caravan. And otherwise am I accepted?

You'll be starting with the group, bound , and with no gear on you.

Name: Isaac Malone
Age: 34
Gender: Male
Physical Description: Isaac is roughly 180 pounds, standing at 5'9 ft.
Birthplace: The Hub
Occupation: Crimson Caravan Director of the Aurora region
Skills: Speech, Barter, and repair
SPECIAL
  • S: 2
  • P: 5
  • E: 3
  • C: 10
  • I: 8
  • A: 4
  • L: 6

Anowa, I apologize for taking so long to work on my character. I, in all honesty, have just been too lazy to work on it these past couple of days.

Dalria, you're behind, very much behind. Redact your post, then get caught up.

For future reference, had your character acted that way when those events were actually going down, you'd be making another character right now.

Due to the lack of available manpower at the time, Townson, who was now 20, was sent to recover some medical and ammo crates from a rundown warehouse.

Three uneventful weeks passed as Townson was becoming more of a staff member than a slave in the outpost.

For the next 4 years, Townson stayed with the Followers, helping them along his time there.Upon about hearing about the massive migration that was heading to unknown lands. John J. Townson packed his bags and said his goodbyes.
