Tried that. Twice. Could be convinced to try again in a few months if I come across more spare time and dedicated partners. Jack and Ater Nox, I'd imagine would be good to throw down some RP again. Just need to fill that Sev and Xor sized hole in the heart of the region. Aethelia, Mathyland and Keladry coming back would be excellent as well. Fun Fact: the region Hogwarts proved that Ravenclaws suck. They had the most members and least amount of House Points.

It's funny, I got to NS because of Harry Potter fan fiction but the HP region was invaded then and after that I left before the refound. It would be nice to have a active Harry Potter region again or like games\events\writing related to it.

Harry Potter and the Festival of Friends (TSP + 10K Islands)

This festival celebrates the shared camaraderie between two great regions and our shared love for the Harry Potter books, movies, fan fiction, and fandom. This may also be the first steps to further friendship and cooperation between The South Pacific and 10K Islands

Outline of Events and Activities
First stop! Take the custom NS edition Buzzfeed Quiz here to get sorted into your House! Houses will earn points and the the House with the most points at the end of the festival will earn the House Cup and shout outs on the WFEs of our regions! House Cup points can be earned through a variety of events and activities:

Posting a screen cap of your Quiz results on Discord will earn your House 10 points


On Discord:
- #the-leaky-cauldron - discuss the books (characters, plots, favorites, unfavorites), fan fiction, the movies, the prequels and everything else that makes us love this amazing series!
- #the-goblet-of-fire - the games channel for HP Quiz Bowl, & Cards Against Muggles - a Harry Potter themed CAH deck (for mature players)

The individual forums are up to the administration of their regions, but I have it on good authority that raider aren't banned for just being raiders.

As far as their own forums state, generally "People who have been banned from the Islands for joining invader groups are often masked as Enemy Faction" or "nations who sign up her from raider regions will be masked as Enemy Faction," and then "Enemy Faction are excluded from participation" in most events. Anecdotally, I've heard the ol' "oh I know a person in XKI who says he'd be banned if they knew he was talking to me" as recently as last week. So, unless their forum is out of date and their member is misinformed...

Can you get someone from XKI to show up and say that Enemy Factions are allowed to participate?

Well, I was allowed on their forum at one point when I was still an invader so I dunno. Maybe you guys should try to be less Hall Monitor on anything fun that happens and you'll get invited to events sometimes, but I can't talk for 10000 Islands. If you care so much, you can directly approach XKI to clarify on that matter, but you guys are allowed in the festival Discord and on our forums as long as you aren't being buzzkill to the fun. At this point though, I dunno if you're invited anymore.

If you try directing that question at someone with authority, I'm sure you'll get a better answer than just posting it in TSP's thread from atop your high horse.

In my personal opinion, there's no reason to keep you all from participating if you refrain from slighting us on our own forums. The route you're taking currently however, is not one that makes it any more likely for us to allow it.

And hey, even if you aren't allowed on our forums, go join the Discord server and maybe TSP's forums if they're okay with it. You aren't being barred from the event. Still plenty of fun to be had, if that's your thing.

And here I figured that maybe the thread announcing the event and where it takes place would be a fairly proper place to ask, you know, the event and where it takes place. I'd have also figured that XKI was the high-horsed one here, historically. But apparently asking a pretty fair question about whether a forum that historically bars raider will be relaxing that rule for this event is "being buzzkill" and and reason to be threatened with being barred from the event individually?
