Following a very eventful 2 days that led to the first reforms to the Articles of Confederation, an executive branch of government was created (among other new institutions). Led by H&R Bloc Director and former Exxon CFO, Gilbert Weinberg, the Confederacy has seen a shift in its internal and foreign policy. Having the ability to directly deal with foreign nations without requiring lengthy Board discussion, it is important that citizens and the world at large have an idea of the man in office.

Gilbert Weinberg is an NGU ex-pat who was hired by the Exxon corporation for his expertise as a financial VP in the oil industry. After working for the Exxon Corporation for five years, he moved to the Borneo wealth hub of Beaufort were he served as a financial advisor for regional government. His peers described him a "tight mouthed" and "ambitious". Weinberg befriended the President of H&R Bloc, Assan Goldstein, during his time as an advisor. President Goldstein had hit his term limit and wanted Weinberg to succeed him in order to preserve the intricate network of inter-factional treaties that allowed the H&R Bloc to wield disproportionately large amounts of power. With Goldstein's backing, Weinberg won the Directorial Election. He has served as the H&R Bloc Director for 3 years and pursued power for his faction via aggressive and covert tactics.

Shortly after being assigned as the temporary CEO of the Confederacy, Weinberg stated that he wanted to rule the nation like a "Vanavoian God". Historically this has referred to a leader that acts decisively while providing the public minimal information. Some may see this as smart as it protects national secrets, while others argue that they have a right to know what they're paying their leadership to do. As per the new Article (XIV), the CEO can be impeached should a 60% shareholder vote pass, or a 70% popular vote. Should things go south, you should know that you have the power to both demand impeachment from your factional government and to vote directly in Confederate ballots for impeachment. For now we should remain optimistic for the future and hope that Executive Weinberg steers our nation towards prosperity.

NGU will allow Nomiconia free access to its Huston port, with no tariffs put on any cargo arriving from Nomiconia
Ubizytotska will supply Nomiconia with 48 Su-35s and 200 SV-32 Assault rifles with their full accessory kits
Nomiconia will ally with Ubizytotska and the NGU and join if any conflict arises.

It seems the Vanavoian God has chosen to start his short lived term by tackling ambitious challenges. Weinberg gave a short statement to the press stating, "The Confederacy has allowed itself to become politically weaker than ever before. To restore our position in the world we need to retake our rightful territories stripped away in numerous illegitimate trade deals passed by low IQ diplomats." When asked to explain how previous trade deals were illegitimate he laughed at reporters and proceeded to drink an entire bottle of soylent.

PDF spokesman Gatot Manik stated that at the moment troops were too tied up returning from undisclosed deployments and from the growing pains brought on by integration. Let's hope things remain peaceful.

During a recent Board meeting meant to discuss the state of Southeast Asia CEO Gilbert Weinberg sat quietly for over an hour before interrupting a Director to say that the Filipino President, Nemesio Costales, was a "clueless baboon." Weinberg then went on to say that the current Filipino administration focused too much on begging for Confederate reparations and loan extensions. Several Directors vehemently disagreed and said that the current political and economic climate in the Philippines pointed strictly to rapid improvement. That seems to be the popular opinion, placing our CEO in a fringe minority of political thought.

"Why am I going to waste by breath giving out pleasantries? These people, they aren't civilised. You can't expect a functional nation to provide the essentials to its people when the upper echelons are run by a pack of animals. I have faith in the Filipino people, but the current government and its nepotistic hiring structure will never bring prosperity. For now the Confederacy is going to maintain the status quo in regards to the Philippines, but we should not be surprised to see a scathing rebuttal by President Costales within the next few days.

After the November elections where Valentin Láska was elected Prime Minister, he announced a tour of Calwainian cities after he was inaugurated into office. Recently he made good on this promise and is traveling the country, meeting the common citizen. In an interview for Nagasaki News, the PM had this to say about his beliefs and the future of Calwain.

I know that Ms. Krutoy, a fine leader, wanted Calwain to remain off the global stage as much as it could, to rebuild. But I believe the path forward is through being on that stage. Response to the Tejano declaration of independence

The Constitutional Court has decided that the Tejano declaration of independence is unconstitutional and thus should not be recognized. With this ruling the government of The Miltonia will not recognize the independence of Tejas. Tejas is to stay an autonomous state in the union and will keep functioning as an autonomous state within The Miltonia. This does not mean that no changes will be made to Tejas' status within the union. We do wish to negotiate with Tejas and take care of any issues that the Tejanos may have with our current agreement. We hope that we can come to an agreement with Tejas and resolve this issue quickly and peacefully.

This action is not totally unjustifiable, though, I and my administration still must disagree with the Miltonians. Over the past week, the arguably fraudulent Panjali games company Puhata Games released over 250 games for their new console the "BlockCube." This includes, but is not limited to these titles: Circuit '36, Bloodgame, Kazoo Smashers, Tazer Friends, Child Abductor 64, Killer Good Guys 4, and Dunkirk 3: the Video Game.

The only game I have played of these that hasn't been direct a ripoff of games from other companies has been Dunkirk 3 (which was surprisingly good,) and that's only because they got the original voice actor for Dunkirk.

The rest of these piece-of-shit games have been directly ripped from mostly Worrisian game companies, only being slightly modified to avoid copyright infringement. The fact that this company can even release a game shows the sad state of Panjali copyright laws, as unless something is an exact copy of something, it won't be hit with copyright laws. I could publish my own version of Dunkirk 3: TVG, change Dunkirk's signature tie from blue to white, and make mad money off it. There is a desperate need to reform our copyright laws in this country. Honest, hard-working individuals are losing their profits to these "knockoff monopoly" companies like Puhata and there's nothing they can do about it.

Just to prove my point here, I will be contracting one of the factories that Puhata Games uses to manufacture BlockCube units, to begin building the first models of my new, totally original games console CubeBlock. This system will feature original titles like 2036 Circuit, Killer Bad Guys 4, and Tazer Fiends. But unlike Puhata's ridiculously overpriced console, the CubeBlock will only cost half the price of the BlockCube.

Several minutes ago, information was released stating that Worris is moving troops into the African Viceroyalty, an African colony owned by Vanavoy. The colony is next to the Worrisian colony, Deserto da Costa, and several divisions of troops are moving through the land to take it. Hofmon said earlier, "The Vanavoyans have become too much of a menace, and I cannot sit out of this battle. (...) We call for Miltonian support in this fight." The future of Africa is now uncertain, as we move into war with Vanavoy.
