I'll take another look at that.States of Glory WA Office wrote:OOC: Just a couple of suggestions from me.
Firstly, having two verbs in Clause Three doesn't sit right with me and I don't see why the clause couldn't be split up.
Done.. but that might push the length to just over the limit, so I'll probably have to make other changes to balance it.Secondly, trying to look up what the IMO was was a pain in the neck as I couldn't find it in Scion's WA bureaucracy guide (as it happens, he included it but forgot to include the acronym as well); I'd recommend including the name in full to avoid any confusion.

Our recommendation is to reduce the proposal to three sections: (1) discouraging use of ozone-depleting chemicals, (2) requiring use of alternative chemicals where they're available, and (3) establishing the agency that conducts research and enforces Section 2.

Submission now pushed back to the weekend, as that's the next occasion when I'll have time to get things properly organised.
BTW, if I'm using stamps to target all of the delegates how do I address the TG?

I've now taken another look at it. Splitting the clause without dropping anything whose inclusion I considered necessary would almost certainly increase the overall length, but this is pushing the limit already.States of Glory WA Office wrote:OOC: Just a couple of suggestions from me.

From the FAQ in this thread's first post:Moronist Decisions wrote:How would this affect planets and sapient species where ozone plays a different role than on Earth?
4. What if my nation’s people actually need the higher levels of UV light, and so don’t need an Ozone Layer?
Then presumably your people are on an entire world [or plural worlds] where this is the case, in which case those worlds’ atmospheres are “closed systems from which escapes cannot threaten any other nation’s atmosphere” and IC the committee has to grant you a waiver. (Yes, unfortunately, the OOC effects on your nations’ stats would still happen: The system isn’t sensitive enough to check people’s RP before applying changes…)

On the New Telegram screen, click on the pulldown to the right of the "To:" box, then on the "Add:" line click on "Special". The pulldown menu to the right of that includes options such as WA Delegates and WA Members. Be sure to click the box below and select "This is a campaign telegram."

There wasn't an obvious match... but note that the new agency is within the existing WASP (World Assembly Science Programme), rather than totally separate from all of the earlier committees.Wolfhawk wrote:sorry didn't read thru the replies (and have supported already) but is their any current committee that can just do the job instead of setting up a new one?
