Following the end of the war with Alorn in January of 2034, most of mainland Alorn was annexed by the Nationalist Gold Union. Although the now-suspended constitution required annexed territories to receive commonwealth status within 1 year of annexation, the political turmoil of the Powell presidency never led to this happening with the newly annexed Alornian territories. However, General Arthur Hecker has finished the transformation from executive-mandate to commonwealth status for the new commonwealths of Cascadia and Alta California.

With the Union legislative elections being held next month, the two new commonwealths will have full voting privileges within the Nationalist Gold Union and all permanent residents there will be granted citizenship. Many right-wingers have responded with negativity, claiming that granting millions of "former enemies" the right to vote will end with tragic consequences. Meanwhile, General Arthur Hecker has claimed that granting political rights to the occupied zones and lifting the executive mandate will calm separatist sentiments in the area and finally bring cultural unification.

The October election is expected to be contentious, although many regulations have been put in place to protect the legislature from being taken by radicals. Though Hecker has re-installed the monarchy, a move considered very unpopular, it's clear that his goal to fix the instability of the nation is rolling along smoothly.

They will take on the most physically and psychologically demanding obstacle course in the world, the ultimate battle of man versus beast. 108 will enter, but only one, will get the chance to prevail.

Round 2 saw 12 competitors enter, 2 from each country, but only 1 left with the title of TAIKOU MASTER. In Round 2, with no Ace's involved, competitors were at each others throats as it seemed no one's score or place, was set in stone. Promising starts end badly and bad starts end well.

Reichspräsident Announces Resignation: Nationalrat To Vote On His Replacement

Monday, September 24th 2035: It was Announced today, my means of the governments television alert system, that Reichspräsident Erdeburg would be resigning. Erdeburg has ruled for over a decade, and it is expected his term will be setting a precedent for later Reichspräsidents. The Nationalrat is set to vote tomorrow on who will replace Erdeburg. The decision will largely hinge on the Militär Politik-Bund (MPB), who control half the Nationalrat by rule of the July 20th constitution. It is expected that the RUO and NP will vote together. The MPB has swiftly moved to prop up Fritz Hersch, nominating him only an hour after Erdeburg's nomination was announced.

Fritz Hersch is the minster of state security and last year he was elevated to the honorary position of Vizepräsident (Vice President) by Erdeburg. Hersch is a veteran, having served a term as an intelligence officer combating dutch insurgents after the assassination of Bundeskanzlerin Petry. Hersch's strong military ties and his experience as head of Noxtrem's most secretive government ministry, make him very desirable. The Nochtremischer Arbeiters Partei (NAP) has also nominated a candidate: Jörg Hofmann. Jörg Hofmann serves as the head of Noxtrem's largest Industrial Union, IG Metall. Hofmann is the first candidate the NAP has ever nominated, and one of the first economic leftists try and take up office in Noxtrem's government. Historically speaking, under the July 20th Constitution, it has been difficult for leftists to assume any degree of prominence in government. Many in the nation still feel resentment towards leftist influences in government: liberal influences are often blamed for the death of Kanzlerin Petry. The legislative action baring 'far-left' political organizations is still in effect, and this will likely lead to legal challenges regarding Hofmann's nomination.

Christian Right wins majority in Union Council, United Social Democrats win the Senate

The scheduled elections have ended and now the two legislative bodies are split as the Christian Right controls the Union Council and the Union Social Democrats now control the Senate.

Polls closed last night after millions of citizens of the Nationalist Gold Union gathered to vote for new Union Councillors and Senators. Earlier this year, General Arthur Hecker performed a coup d'état against the collapsing government of the deceased David Powell, taking control of the nation. Though many expected Hecker to implement himself as a dictator (for suspending the constitution and re-implementing the monarchy), the General cracked down on corruption and disorder and now held open elections for the dissolved Senate and Union Council, as well as many other positions and titles across the country.

Out of the dozens of political parties that ran candidates for the election, only four of them actually took seats in the Union Council and Senate: the Christian Right, United Social Democrats, Conservative National Party, and Market Liberal Party. This is due to the 10% rule that was implemented by General Hecker's administration, which required any political party to get at least 10% of the popular vote in order to take any seats.

The United Social Democrats won 255 seats in the Senate, 51% of the seats, forming a majority for the party. Meanwhile, the Christian Right won 14 seats in the Union Council, 56% of the seats. Pundits blame the disparity on the number of small parties running, claiming that because so many people on the right wing voted for small parties on the right, only three of them actually passed the 10% margin. Meanwhile, the right-wing candidates were mostly under the wing of the Christian Right, allowing right-winged dominance in the Union Council.

As per the suspended constitution, the leader of the Union Council was the Vice President, who was appointed by the President, and the leader of the Senate was the Chancellor, who was the leader of the majority party/coalition/alliance. Now, it's unsure how the political structure will be organized under the new regime.

The new legislators will take office by the end of the year.

EROS Becomes Automated

Yesterday, Panjali Astronaut Aadhaya Bimala boarded EROS alone and installed two new features to the station: the first being a mechanical arm capable of being operated from Earth, and the second being Louis, an AI capable of maintaining and running all systems on board EROS.

This means that EROS is now a fully automated space station capable of conducting research without a manned team aboard it. This is a massive step for both PISS, Sol Initiative, and all of humanity combined. Louis, an AI, is now in full control of the largest man-made object outside of the atmosphere, with no man aboard.

A significant advantage Louis has over its human counterparts is the total elimination of the need for any logistical planning or resources. This means that EROS and its team can now be fully focused on research, instead of needing to maintain basic functions of the station.

Last night, a highly organized communist crime group broke into the Imperial Palace, killing hundreds of armed guards and killing 3 out of 4 members of the immediate imperial family including the Kaiserin herself. The next in line for the throne is Nikolaus, second son of Augusta and Paul von Romenburg. Since Nikolaus is only 2 years old, the only capable government of Vanavoy is the republican National Syndicalists. Paul Philip IV's coronation ceremony takes place while government is sworn in

In a symbolic move to showcase the new democratic monarchy, the Crown Prince Paul Philip was officially crowned Leader-Emperor Paul Philip IV while the newly elected Senators and Union Councillors were sworn into office in the neighboring room. The ceremony took place in the Empire State Building in Caspia, where both people of the public and leaders of the world attended to witness the coronation.

Paul Philip's predecessor, Georg took the title "Emperor of Laurentia and Leader of the Union" but styled himself as just the "Emperor". However, in his coronation speech, Paul Philip stated he would take the title "Leader of the Nationalist Gold Union and Emperor of Laurentia," shortened to "Leader-Emperor."

General Arthur Hecker, however, has spent the past few months organizing what would replace the offices of Vice President and Chancellor. After the coronation, the General gave a short speech explaining what he would call the "Government Presidency." The new joint head-of-government will be comprised of the President of the Union Council, the President of the Senate, and the President-General (an official appointed by the Leader-Emperor who serves to break ties and give advice on behalf of the monarch). Our forces were able to push through due to overwhelming force and skill, as well as combined arms tactics. New Railway Plan Announced

On March the 13th the Council of Nomiconia announced the construction of a new railway, a line stretching from East Carpathia, forking to Walgreen's and Unified Capitalist Kingship's borders, and ending at Donbasin (the border of United Collective Celestia), and having a line going down to Odessina. The new railway will be built using better materials, allowing for faster maximum speed, and will also allow for faster travel to each end of Nomiconia, and better transportation for export by ship.

The construction of the railway is expected to begin in about half a year, once confirmed. The current Estimated Time of Finish is unknown but is expected to be from 2 to 3 years depending on conditions.The council has also agreed to provide the National any further information on this topic.

The Desire For Democracy

With new information from all over the world entering Nomiconia, many citizens are beginning to question the policies of Nomiconia. Nomiconia is assigned one leader, and never decided by the people, and although normal for Nomiconia, in many parts of the world this is called a dictatorship. Our newspaper conducted a survey a week ago, and the surprising results showed that 21% of the population chose that they would rather have a democratic government, a number higher than ever before.

After a brief engagement between woefully unprepared Noxtremian border guards and the Vanavoian K.u.K. Army, Vanavoian artillery opened fire on Aachen and was quickly able to rout the Noxtremian paramilitary and border security who had garrisoned in the city. Vanavoian armor then surrounded the city and infantry moved in and purged the remaining resistance. Our Atlantic fleet has moved north to blockade Noxtrem's northern coast and we have an armored spearhead moving to capture Den Haag and Amsterdam. Multiple Noxtremian mines in Tirol have been commandeered and Infantry has begun to move into Bayern where, according to at least one report, the troops were welcomed as holy liberators freeing the oppressed Catholic minority. Other much less reliable rumors stated that Vanavoian soldiers in Baden-Württemburg suffered no casualties as Noxtremian bullets "bounced off as if they were made of rubber". This is likely nothing more than a fiction, but it'll likely improve morale so it's to our advantage that we use this in propaganda.

Strike at the Nationalist Gold Union

December 26th, 2035

An aerial attack on the NGU's African Fleet dealt serious damage to the NGU's naval capabilities in the region. Along with sinking a significant proportion of the fleet, serious casualties were taken by the NGU. While only 129 Vanavoians were killed with an additional 3 soldiers taken as prisoners, 2,403 NGU soldiers and a handful of civilians were killed in the vicious attack. The Vanavoian South Atlantic fleet has been spotted off the coast of the Cape Peninsula and is attempting to establish Naval Supremacy in both the Northern and Southern Regions of the Atlantic Ocean primarily through the use of Submarines and Aircraft Carriers. The Attack on Die Baai was accompanied by a renewed offensive in Northern Rhodesia where the Afrikanisch Landwehr has begun to move Southbound.

Emir Lakhmid Announces New Restrictions January 10th, 2036 Today in a historic speech, Emir Lakhmid announced a series of new policies which place restrictions upon any infidels within Lakhmida, along with certain restrictions upon immigrants. "As our nation continues to grow and prosper in the modern day, we must acknowledge the unfortunate truth that there are large amounts of Lakhmidan citizens who do not believe in their government or their people's religion. This is not acceptable for the future of our nation, and these infidels must face proper consequences for their actions." The disease doctors working tirelessly on studying and working to eliminate have given it the name, Lóng Bàgōng (龙罢工) or Dragon Strike. It was given the name because of what happened to the patient just prior to death. We discovered that the disease was a virus that had infected Beijing's water system. It spreads to other victims through contact and blood making it extremely infectious. On hearing it's main mode of transportation into the city the reservoir was shut down and completely sealed from the outside world. The water systems were shut down so in order for them to survive we airdropped supplies into the district hubs via drone. After many months working toward a cure for Lóng Bàgōng we have made a scientific breakthrough. Using the Buckminsterfullerene or Buckyballs, a hollowed out nano carbon fullerene ball that can transport the contained cure/vaccine through the human circulatory system to the location needed, In this case the heart. These Buckyball vaccines and cures are being mass produced and distributed to all KGB agents and every settlement in the old Trumplanian colony regions. Once that is finished every citizen will be required to take the vaccine at their local clinic, hospital or doctors. The vaccinations will take place in one region at a time.

It is unclear as to who exactly would be willing to approve of the move. A vote about it will be healed on February 8th, if it passes a public referendum will be held to settle it.
