Letheny sent an ultimatum to Atkemri, demanding 2 billion in reparations for the damages they placed on Letheny during the Hongchanese-Hinodian War, citing the Atkemrian usage of poison gas on civilian centers. The Atkemrian government refused to pay the reparations. The Lethen government did not immediately declare war, and instead used their time to prepare for the war.

5 divisions, bolstered by the volunteers of the Pan-Asiatic States and Hashkin, plus three more full divisions from Reutoa, Xanadaria, and the Republic of Christiandom are mobilized, load up into transport crafts, and then set sail towards Atkemri. 7 divisions in the Angola region of Lethen South Africa prepare to attack.

Letheny fires an ICBM. Expected to hit a large population center somewhere in the Mali region within 16 minutes (ETA: 1936). Atkemri has likely already detected the Lethen jet fighters by now, but they won't arrive in Atkemri for another 17 minutes.

Escorted by 14 aircraft carriers, 45 frigates, 54 destroyers, 32 corvettes, and 34 nuclear submarines - the 8 divisions from Letheny and the 5 from Lethen South Africa are mere hours away from attacking Atkemri. Furthermore, the fleet is bolstered by a single Xanadarian carrier and two pairs of corvettes and destroyers.

The war was a surprise. No one actually thought that Letheny would actually attack. Yet in front of the military's eyes 1000s of jets were coming towards them,and more concerning a ICBM was heading right towards Kirshina,the largest city in the Roder Tribal state. Missile defence systems were activated and the ICBM shot down. Atkemrian fighter jets would defend the borders waiting to intercept the Lethen fighters.

The Lethen fighter jets avoided the Atkemrian fighters that were already in the sky, in favor of attacking Atkemrian aircraft that hadn't taken off yet - likely causing immense Atkemrian losses due to the fact that the Lethens had the advantage of surprise. The Lethen invasion force drew closer.

Letheny was betting on the fact that the Atkemrian army wasn't totally prepared for an invasion, and then therefore their soldiers would be scattered throughout the country.

Atkemrian jets bases would be heavily protected with AA guns and other defences. Not only that,but the jets planning to intercept were in hot pursuit as the Lethen jets were seen with radar.

Atkemrian jets bases would be heavily protected with AA guns and other defences. Not only that,but the jets planning to intercept were in hot pursuit as the Lethen jets were seen with radar.

Generally, the AA didn't save anything that was on the ground. All the Lethen jets had to do was point at the ground, fire a missile, and then run away. Furthermore, the Lethen jets were difficult to pursue, as they did a very good job of keeping a hard distance from the Atkemrian planes.

The Lethen ships fired a massive naval missile barrage on a coastal city in Mauritania. Several minutes later, 7 Lethen divisions landed the shore of the city and attacked, bolstered by the fact that they had plenty of attack vehicles and naval-invasion specialists with them.

Prince Alfred il Xanadaria leaned back in his chair, observing the unfolding situation.

There was no doubt that victory was assured. Lethen, Reuota, the RoC and Xanadaria had banded together to destroy the last member of the Hongchanese Coalition. Their forces combined were enough to wipe any foe off the face of the Earth. Such a fate was deemed too good for Atkemria, a Federation the Emperor wanted to see burnt to the ground for their failure in the previous war.

The question was how expensive it was going to be.

Every nation here had suffered some kind of loss during the war. Xanadaria the most. This was an opportunity to recover some of those losses. A boost to their resources and economy, in a truly dark time. The question was, could they accomplish such a task with the limited forces they had here?

Alfred looked up from his thoughts, grinning at the battle. As predicted, Atkemrian fighters were attempting to retaliate against the Lethen air forces, attempting to beat back the assault from the sky. However, they'd made a foolish error. They'd failed to anticipate some fighters might have been held back.

"Shadow Squadron, move in to intercept the bogeys attacking the Lethen fighters. Hit them fast, hit them hard and then pull back to the fleets. If they follow, our vessels will shoot them down."

The jets complied, screaming towards the Atkemrian fighters and letting loose a blaze of gunfire and missiles.

Action:
-Xanadarian jets swoop in to attack any aircraft attacking the Lethen jets, expecting to cause heavy casualties due to the element of speed and surprise. After the attack, they swoop away and fly back towards the safety of the fleet.

As the Lethen alliance,some Atkemrian fighters were held back to counter attack any other attackers. One of the air patrols circling the entire country found them and engaged before they could get to the air battle.

The Lethen forces attacking the city would be forced to deal with mtilitia before the military arrived in about an hour. The milita would be armed for the most part with AR-10 assault rifles,not military grade,but still vary versatile.

The Lethen aircraft carriers sent out their fighters - and these carrier fighters targeted Atkemrian ports with air strikes to cripple the Atkemrian navy. The Lethen navy spread out and formed a blockade.

The Lethen divisions would storm the city, spearheaded by the RoC Death Korps division and the urban combat specialists from the Pan-Asiatic states. The local militia was likely severely outnumbered, and the invasion force was far more skilled and well-armed. The militia had likely no chance to hold off the attackers at all.

Rolling his eyes, he simply ordered the fighters to loop around, shooting the enemy as they did, and bringing them in range of the fleet. The Xanadarian fighters pulled out of the way, as the ships AA guns began firing at the Atkemrian fighters, which should decimate them entirely.

-Xanadarian jets retaliate against the Atkemrian jets, before pulling out of the way to allow the boats to shoot them down.

At 0600 hours, 7 guns, including the Baneblade's hull-mounted howitzer and it's main cannon, began firing, unloading gas, HE, Armor Piercing and Incendiary shells on the city.

Furthermore, these Lethen fighters continued their policy of avoiding Atkemrian fighters. The blockade fleet began bombarding the ports of Atkemri, destroying AA, the ports in general, and likely destroying ships.

The militia made a huge mistake shacking up in buildings, as the RoC volunteers simply just burned the buildings down or used poison gas. Often, the soldiers would pop into the houses in unexpected ways and ambush the militia, generally massacring them easily. The soldiers on the streets hid behind tanks and armored vehicles for cover and pelted bullets at the defending militia.

A beachhead of defenses was established on the coast near the city as well as in the parts of the city that Letheny controlled, and the call for reinforcements was established. An escort was detached from the blockade fleet and moved towards Lethen South Africa to pick up 5 more divisions. 3 more divisions were prepared in Letheny.

As the Atkemrian fighters pulled away, the Xanadarian fighters fired upon them, without a doubt inflicting heavy losses.

Meanwhile, Alfred ordered the Support Fleet to begin moving to the nearest coastal city, intent on launching his own assault.

The Baneblade's radar traces the mortars back to their sources, and either artillery barrages or Inquisitorial Stormtroopers silence the mortars.
Meanwhile, captured militiamen are brutally tortured, and then sent back to their fellows only to explode thanks to explosives rigged inside of them.

Also, 2 F-16s spray gas over hostile positions. Coalition forces are warned to wear chemical gear when in those areas.

The Lethen troops deeper in the city and their volunteer allies put on their gas masks.

The bombers and Atkemrian fighters were swarmed by a mixture of missiles from the Lethen navy and attacks from the Lethen fighters before they could even get within 50 miles of the ships. All of these - homing missiles, usually heat-seeking or radar-guided.

Furthermore, the Lethen coalition had defenses set up. Their defenses held strong as the Lethen defenses bombarded the Atkemrian tanks with explosive weaponry, and pelted the Atkemrian infantry with their rifles. Furthermore, several small squadrons did guerrilla work around the cities. The guerrillas set up mine traps for Atkemrian reinforcements as well as ambushing the current reinforcements.

The militia's traps proved ineffective, as generally the soldiers didn't walk through the door and instead opted to spray gas or throw a grenade instead of moving in themselves. Sometimes, they opted to merely fire bullets through the walls at the militia.

When the Atkemrian returned with bombers, the fighters split into three groups. One group of twenty-four attacked the enemy Atkemrian fighters, twelve attacked the bombers and the last twelve intercepted the falling bombs. The falling bombs were also hit hard by the defences on board the ships.

Hundreds of Death Korps rush through the city, flushing out militia and military with gas grenades, flamethrowers, or simply just leveling the buildings with the Baneblade.

Artillery would also fire on them initiating a time of bombardment. The military would put on gasmasks,but the militia would not be so fortunate and most would die.

The mortars were tracked AGAIN and this time helicopters with Inquisitorial Stormtroopers would be dispatched, brutally murdering the crews, before withdrawing until they were called up again.

When the Atkemrian returned with bombers, the fighters split into three groups. One group of twenty-four attacked the enemy Atkemrian fighters, twelve attacked the bombers and the last twelve intercepted the falling bombs. The falling bombs were also hit hard by the defences on board the ships.

The airforce would outnumber them and thus render this strategy useless. Their would be 24 torpedoes and 40 fighters protecting the bombers

The MOAB bombers would be easily shot down, and the planes attacking the Lethen ships probably as well. The coalition defenses held strong. Under bombardment, the coalition is forced to move. They move on the Atkemrian position, splitting into mobile attack squads with tank support.
