Summary of Arashas Karres: Wanted by the Empire on charges of terrorism and murder.

Arashas Karres was born by human parents on the planet of Coruscant. Here he eked out a meager life style with his parents in the lower wards of the city. What would have been a rather standard life for a lower ward members changed when Arashas at the age of 11 managed to get into the Biomedical Institute on Coruscant due to being a prodigy in the field of biology and ecology despite his you age. Riding on a scholarship he saw this as his perfect opportunity to advance in The Empire.

Earning a number of accolades and awards for his groundbreaking research into next generation stims and medical equipment based upon different plants and animals he had found on research missions in the Unknown Region.

It was here his life would take a different turn. While the Empire was impressed by his research they were pushing for more and more results. This change of pace allowed Arashas to fund a large expedition on a uncharted planet which seemed to harbor some particularly interesting specimens.

The flora and fauna on the planet allowed him to distill a extremely powerful stim that granted increased reflexes, boosted the users short and long term memory, increased focus and finally granted a wide array of physiological benefits such as increased strength, endurance and with extreme doses partial regeneration. However it came with a heavy cost at lower doses it was highly addictive and barely provided any benefits while high doses carried a 90% mortality rate on test subjects. Undisturbed by this Arashas continued with his experiments and focused on his refining methods. It was at that time a accidents happened. A large cloud of the stim was released in the laboratory's ventilation system and managed to contaminate the entire compound.

At first it was deemed a slight risk as the gas should not have been enough to make anyone addicted or suffer any side effects. Sadly they were mistaken. The new refinement process had made the stim so addictive that users can not be without it for more than a few minutes to a hour at most without going into shock and dying from the central nervous system overloading.

With his entire crew addicted to a substance only he could provide Arashas decided to dismantle the entire lab and went of the grid and appeared several months later as the leader of a group of outlaws and traitor called “The Outcasts”.

Description: A consortium of drug manufacturers that both supply narcotics to the galaxy, but also advanced stims for warlords and other interested parties. Occasionally sells medical supplies to those in need at exorbiant prices.

The Outcasts view themselves as a improved and better version of their own races as the addiction to the stim makes them stronger compared to their baseline species. This creates a special identity within the group where Arashas is viewed as a father/creator of the Outcasts. Furthermore they see no problem with kidnapping potential members and forcibly converting them using their stims.

As such with the right tools they have the potential to grow rapidly.
Backstory: Created after Arashas broke his ties to the Empire, the Outcasts has spent the last 3 years building themselves up at a highly dangerous speed, stealing old scrapped Republic vessels to use as a mobile base of operations allowing them to quickly deliver their drugs wherever they are need.

As for their current goals no one is sure. Some claim that Arashas is seeking vengeance on the Empire for some reason, but no one knows yet.

- How potent is this stimulant? How long does it last in the bloodstream? If it lasts there more than an hour, how are all personnel still alive despite the near certainty of an overdose?
- Why did the Empire not hunt-down this group with this stimulant in their possession?

Description: A group of Antarian Rangers, Freedom Warriors, and other Jedi sympathizers under the leadership of Edver Voss, an order 66 survivor, who pledge to restore the Jedi Order to it's former glory.
Backstory: The Jedi Order in Exile was formed in 19 BBY, subsequent to the Great Jedi Purge, by Edvar Voss. Voss, as a youngling, barley escaped the Jedi Temple with a few of his friends during the attack by the 501st Legion. With the aid of Antarian Rangers, Freedom Warriors, and other Jedi sympathizers, they regrouped and fled Coresaunt to find other Order 66 survivors. While originally composed of a number of Jedi, over time many were slain or abandoned the cause, leaving Voss to lead the small faction alone.

After some time they managed to acquire a Garman-class mining vessel, and sold the mining vehicles and equipment on the black market to pay for a squadron of Z-95 Headhunters. While the Exiled Order's main mission is to re-establish the Jedi Order, they mainly combat the Empire on a small scale. While not officially part of the rebellion, they assist the rebels often and often find themselves helping or being helped by the rebels. As a side mission, the Exiles also search out force sensitives and other Order 66 survivors to help protect them from the Empire.

Name: Edvar Voss
Age: 35
Short Bio: Born on Corellia, Edvar lived in the small mountain town of Bela Vistal, secluded from the galactic politics. He was discovered to be force sensitive when he was an infant, and was given to the Jedi Order for training in the light side of the force. He preformed exceptionally, being strong with the force and devoted to the light side. When he was 15 he took the Jedi Initiate Trials, passing distinctively and becoming a Padawan. A year later, he would become a padewan to Aisha Malo. Shortly after order 66 would be issued, and Aisha Malo would help him and a few younglings escape the Jedi Temple.

Now on the run, Aisha, Voss, and four initiates secured transport and escaped Courecaunt, and were located by Antarian Rangers. The Rangers helped hide them on their ship while they searched for sanctuary, until they were discovered by a clone scout ship. After destroying the ship, a larger Venator-class would engage their ship. After being disabled, they would be boarded, and hundreds of clones would try to kill them, and many of the Rangers and Initiates fell. Escaping on a life pod after self self destructing their ship, they managed to escape again with help from the Freedom Warriors. They would hide away on Ryloth amongst the dissident factions there.

Aisha would train Voss, and the last surviving initiate, Kwan, the ways of the light side. They would spend days in meditation, and weeks training how to duel. They would even learn how to fly spaceships and use "Jedi mind tricks" among other skills. While they would sense other force user's presence, they could only do nothing as they sensed the dark side grow stronger every day. It wasn't until 14 BBY when everything changed. After a Rylothian Ressitance plot to assassinate the Sith Lords Darth Vader and Darth Sedious, the two Siths were stuck on the planet. While they didn't directly encounter the lords, their presence was sensed, and Stormtroopers cracked down, eventually finding the three Jedi.

A heavy fight ensued across the small town as the three Jedi fought against a battalion of Stormtroopers. Soon, resistance members, Antarian Rangers, and Freedom Warriors who were in the area joined the fight, and turned the tide, however Imperial reinforcements forced them to flee. It was when the Jedi boarded a captured Imperial Shuttle when a sniper shot Aisha in the back, and another Stormtrooper wounded Voss. This would be seen as completing the Trials of Knighthood in his master's eyes, who proclaimed him as a knight in her dying breaths.

They landed on a retrofitted Garman-class Mining Vessel that had been used as a makeshift carrier by the Antarian Rangers, and as the surviving Jedi knight, Voss was in command. Kwan would become his "Padawan," and for years they would seek out other Jedi, or Jedi sympathizers to help rebuild the order. They would only recruit the latter, never finding any Jedi willing to enlist in their ranks. After years of that spacefaring life, Kwan would leave the vessel during a night when they were anchored on the surface of a small colony world, leaving a small holomessage behind.

Voss was nearly broken, angry with the Empire, at Kwan, but mostly with himself. He would spend days in meditation, looking deep into his soul. He came face to face with himself, but he saw what would happen if he sought after revenge, a weak man, obliviously tunnel visioned, and the the destruction of what he was trying to build. It was only then when he believed himself to be a knight, when he solidified his choice to follow the light side. He now continues his effort to rebuild the order from scratch, hoping that one day his friend Kwan will return.

Well, Brus has probably left the RP - I'll see if I can grab them back, but I wouldn't count on them staying - so you should probably try a different tack, unless you want to NPC that encounter. Otherwise - see if New Roman Empire would be cool having you in their story? Or possibly start your own story - I could imagine a droid could have a fun future if it found one of the CIS droid foundaries and went full Harbinger by way of Lazarus Squad, pulling repeated suicide missions.

Due to the poverty of his family he was raised mostly on the streets and received only a very basic education he quickly became involved in criminal gangs as a way to make ends meet. Working as a small time criminal he quickly felt that such a life didn't suit him. He joined up with the Imperial Stormtrooper Academy deciding that if the only thing he knew was violence at least he could try to become good at it.

Arashas excelled at the basic training quickly gaining notoriety in the academy as a potential officer. However the aristocratic officers still viewed him as a lower born human and not worthy of attaining any officer rank. This stigma tainted Arashas throughout his years in the academy and finally into his career slowly disintegrating the indoctrination he had been put through.

As time went on Arashas became a highly skilled stormtrooper and was counted as one of the best soldiers by many of the officers that commanded him even though he was noted for his continuing disrespect, however rumors existed that he frequented seedy bars while on his R&R. However none of this could be confirmed in the end. While this caused some concern to his superiors they wrote it of as worth it considering his skills.

What they didn't know was that Arashas used this time to create a network of associates he called The Outcasts. They were a place for those that had either been left outside or rejected by the normal society or criminals that needed a new start with a new organization. The core idea was only that it was a place for those that needed one and had nowhere else to go. With time this group came to grow and managed to include some of the fellow Stormtroopers that served with Arashas that also felt dissatisfied being stuck as a cog in a large machine.

Using this basic pool of members they managed to gather equipment and supplies by stealing from the cargo of any raid or mission that the troopers performed. For example if the stormtroopers were sent to secure a location they would make sure that when they were guarding it that things of value would be stolen or smuggled cargo would be redirected to their own warehouses.

They managed to do this for 3 years until it culminated in their most decisive action. Arashas and the regiment he served with was tasked with intercepting and capturing a CR90 corvette that was involved in piracy and other treasonous activities.

The plan was simple Arashas would hide a tracking beacon on his person that would allow the rest of his Outcasts to follow them and hijack the ship from the imperial after it had been captured.

The plan went just as they had hoped. With the imperial badly wounded and battered after boarding the corvette they didn't notice the cheap freighters that had been inching ever closer to the ship. With a pull of the trigger Arashas shot his officer and spread chaos among the troopers as they Outcasts took control of the ship and then quickly departed before the Empire could capture the ship again.

The CR90 Corvette now nicknamed the Banshee went into hiding in the outer rim along with it's crew as they prepared for what to do in the future.

All that mattered to Arashas however was that he had now gained the promotion he had yearned after all these years.

Short Bio : Rodrick is a human male born on the planet of Corellia. He was taken to the Jedi temple when he was a baby like all Jedi where he was trained as a youngling until being taken as a padawan to a Jedi knight named Luke Avale about four years before the clone wars. He became a knight during those four years becoming skilled in 2 light saber forms Makashi and Shien/Djem So. He fought in the entire clone wars as a general. He fought in a couple major battle like the first battle of Geonosis and the battle of Coruscant but most of time he fought in minor battles and skirmishes. When order 66 occurred he and Luke Avale were with about 2 squads of clones sneaking up on a small droid army when the clones got the order they fired killing Luke but since Rodrick was up ahead he managed to escaped the clones and stole a y wing bomber. Returning to his home planet of Corellia and went into hiding there. After a couple of years hiding their in a abandoned warehouse he got into a fight with some storm troopers. After this he knew he needed to leave so he bought a ride to the outer rim. But during this ride the captain of the ship saw his saber and tried to kill him to collect the reward for killing a Jedi. After killing the captain Rodric took his ship changed his identity and decided to go into smuggling seeing as he was low on credits and without much money he doubted he could survive in the outer rim
