We are pleased to announce the completion of the first Airbus A340 freighter prototype for use in Arthropol Airlines. We have converted an A340-300 to a freighter, by adding a bump on the nose like the A330F to level the aircraft while on the ground. This A340F will be able to carry 65T over 10000 km. The plane will undergo testing before the expected entry into service in 2018. We have also procured stored A340s from Air Inter and A340-500s from Air Atlantique for conversion.

We are pleased to announce reduced prices for this holiday, and for 2018. This holiday, we will be selling discount tickets to popular European winter destinations like Lyon and Genoa for as low as €18. Intercontinental tickets will also be discounted, like Sydney for only €500, a discount of €350. We will also be increasing flight frequency to some airports, like we do every holiday season. To serve the routes, we have brought back some stored aircraft for service. The sale will begin 11 December 2017 and end 15 January 2018.

We are pleased to announce the first schedules for 2018. Our first flight in 2018 will take off at Auckland Airport, at exactly 00:00, and land at 3:05, in Perth, Perth time. It will then continue to Arthropol City and land at 12:20. The flight will be operated by an Airbus A380-841, configured with Y399, J70, F6, and R1. All tickets on this flight will be sold for exactly $2018, regardless of class, so make sure to book tickets quickly! Also, one lucky passenger on every flight operated on 1/1/2018 will recieve a voucher for transportation tickets in Arthropol, valid in Arthropol Airlines, the SNCA, taxis, and public transit systems. Our sale will still continue.

We are pleased to announce delivery of 15 leased 777-300ER aircraft, to use on increased frequency long haul routes during the holiday season. They will be configured in our usual configuration of Y228J24F6 for the 777-300ER and will have our new First seats. They will mainly fly on routes to Asia and South America. We will be returing them on 13 February 2018, when we expect the further delivery of some of our A350 aircraft.

We are pleased to announce a new poll. Due to the introduction of the new suites business class product on the A350, we have decided to make a poll, for customers to vote on their preferred product. More information can be found in the Services section. Also, due to a delay in the delivery of our A350-1000 aircraft, we have extended our 777-300ER lease period to June 2018. We have also commenced services to a new destination, Port Moresby, in Papua New Guinea. These flights will be served on Wednesday and Saturday once, with a Boeing 787-9. We have also announced four new destinations beginning next year, namely Adelaide, Cairns, Canberra and Hobart. All 4 routes will be served with our new A350-900ULR aircraft. We are also resuming flights, to Baghdad, Iraq. We apologise about any European flights that have been diverted, delayed or cancelled due to bad weather. Passengers can choose to change flight dates free of charge, or get a refund if flights are affected.

Due to our government wanting to clear the boneyards in Arthropol, we have decided to take on some aircraft, mostly from the A320, A330 and 777 families. They include 20 A320-200 aircraft, 10 A321-200 aircraft, 5 A330-200 aircraft, 10 A330-300 aircraft and, 5 777-200ER aircraft, and 5 777-300ER aircraft.

Dear all customers,
Today marks a significant day in the history of Arthropol Airlines. Today alone, we have acquired hundreds of aircraft into the Arthropol Airlines fleet. Due to declining profits amid firece competition from Arthropol Airlines and our biggest rival Air Inter, Air Atlantique has bankrupted. All of their assets and aircraft have been purchased by us, and all their staff have been transferred to us. Their fleet will be repainted to match ours, but there will be a small difference, in that the aircraft acquired will mostly run PW and IAE engines instead of our regular RR and CFM engines. We have also purchased aircraft from Vizionair, namely A320s, A330s, A340s, A380s, and B777s. The A340s will be converted to freighters, while the rest will enter service when reconfigured and delivered. All Air Atlantique and Oneworld rewards holders will recieve the equivalent Arthropol Airlines and Star Alliance rewards, free of charge.

Dear all customers,
Today, the first aircraft from Air Atlantique has rolled out from the paintshop. It is an A320-271N, which was given to us a few days early, as it had scheduled maintenance. It will keep its registration of A-AQ10. It has the PW1100G geared turbofan instead of our preferred CFM LEAP-1A, designed by GE and Snecma. It will fly its inaugral flight tomorrow at 12:00 tomorrow, from Bordeaux-Merignac Airport to Arthropol City International as AL 001, 30 minutes after the last scheduled Air Atlantique flight, AQ 999 lands, having just arrived from Pape'ete via Los Angeles. It will be operated by a Boeing 787-9. Both flights will have the callsign Arthropol One, as the King of Arthropol will be onboard both flights. In unrelated news, we have a new operating base, Arthopol-Ville-Allauch Airport. It is the new airport in Arthropol City, which is smaller than the main airport, and closer to the city centre. It will be our secondary airport in Arthropol City, where we will operate flights with smaller aircraft like our new Boeing 787-8, and the Airbus A321.
A-AQ10, our first Air Atlantique repainted aircraft. It has yet to be named.

We have decided to introduce our new Suites Business Class product on our aircraft due to its immense popularity with passengers. They will be on the A330, excluding the 5 A330 Regional aircraft, the A350, A380, 777 and the 787. It will remain in an 1-2-1 configuration on all the aircraft except the A330, which will be in a 1-1-1 configuration. We have also announced delivery of one further A350-1000. We have announced the purchase of a new aircraft. We have procured 10 A330-303 aircraft from the Fyodorian government. They originally served as VIP aircraft and are now being replaced by new aircraft. They are equipped with the GE CF6 engine, our second preference for the A330. They will replace our 10 oldest A333s, which will go to one of our subsidiaries.

Dear all customers,
We have announced the purchase of yet another airline. With approval from the government of Maghreb (Arab North Africa), we have purchased a small airline based in the region of Mauritania, called Mauritania Airlines. It only operated a few domestic flights and international flights, and we have purchased it along with some new Boeing and Airbus aircraft for our subsidary Air Maghreb. However, the brand new Boeing 737 MAX 8 delivered to Mauritania Airlines will go to Arthropol Airlines, as well as their 4 further orders. We will be using these on routes that are normally operated by the A320neo, to test efficiency. The rest of the inherited aircraft include 2 Boeing 737-500s, 1 Boeing 737-700, 1 Boeing 737-800, and 1 Embraer ERJ-145. These will all go to Air Maghreb. We have also ordered 787-8 aircraft, to replace their 757-300s, and secondhand A330-200s to replace their ageing Mokrani M-120s. We plan to expand Air Maghreb to capture up to 40% of the Maghrebi market, up from 20%.
