The General Manager of AEoV, William Jackson, arrives to congratulate you on your achievements. He is to be staying until the end of his time in that position inside the city, and act as a liaison between Vendecati and the INRO.

The Director is pleased to meet Mr. Jackson and looks forward to working with his company in the future.

CEO Wilford Davidson has expressed his gratitude on the acceptance of the application for Atomica.
Representative of Atomica Board of Directors, Madison D. Ambrozy will be staying in the city periodically, and will be replaced in a few years, pending performance updates.

Atomica Corporation will be sharing research information and past tests regarding improvements in safety, new cooling techniques, waste disposal alternatives, etc.
The CEO, however has expressed his concerns over the number of members in the INRO, and questions whether or not to release said information -- Mrs. Ambrozy urges the director to convince him otherwise.

The Director looks concerned. "Do you believe that our membership should be classified information?"

Representative Madison speaks on behalf of the CEO,
"Not necessarily, but I believe that there might not be enough active members in the INRO to fully release information - we want to reach as many organizations and companies as possible, you see. I do not see a reason why Atomica should just publicly release it's documents instead. Are there any benefits to being in INRO in the first place? We don't mean any harm, we'd just like some reassurance."

[Bruke]

The Director scoffs. "Of course! The whole point of INRO is to bring together the best and brightest to work on the cutting edge of nuclear science and technology. That's why we built this research center."

[Bruke]

"Trust me, you don't want to know how many hoops we had to jump through to make this happen... But it's worth it to have companies like yours working with us."

[Bruke]

"If you feel that it is inappropriate at this time to release the names of our members, we will remove that information."

Representative Madison speaks on behalf of the CEO,
"That is not necessary, thank you.
Our company will begin sharing information and technologies with the INRO once we finish setting up a conference room. I gather that talking face-to-face via facial communications is more preferred rather than simply hearing it from my representative. We do appreciate your commitment and dedication.

Madison then goes on to say,
"The Board has also expressed their gratitude. They'll be establishing teams inside the research centre for more research and the sharing of technologies between our scientists."

"Here I'll give you an example. Our country's top researchers are here. We've got people from our world-class chemical and plastic industries, and they've got something they'd like to show you..."





"They've developed a semi-solid material that can be used to seal up leaks in the core of a nuclear reactor. Also can be used to seal off a room in a worst-case scenario... They've developed a release system for it that can automatically spray with precision, onto any targeted surface."

"I can say that Bruclear is working on a new reactor design that can reprocess nuclear waste. We're importing waste material from Zitravgrad to run our first tests."

[Vendecati]

"Our company is currently working on a heavily simplified fast breeder design. Some of our technicians nicknamed it the 'BSR–the boiling sodium reactor', in reference to the boiling water reactor that it's based on," Jackson said. "We expect the final design specifications to be finished in two weeks. Our major focuses were safety and cost effectiveness, and I'm glad to say that we've removed one very large flaw with earlier FBR designs—the steam turbine has been replaced with a nitrogen gas turbine. We would like cooperation to test this reactor." In his hands were several clipboards, a briefcase, and a doughnut.

"Of course! We'll just put it in the spare reactor facility. Did I mention we have space for not one, but two reactors? The only requirement we have is that it can be built underground. You'll understand of course, it took a lot of wrangling for us to build here. And I mean a lot! If you'll look outside you can still see those hippie protestors in the distance..."

Jackson nodded. "Of course, we understand the political climate. Boy, do we ever." He set down the things in his arms, opened his briefcase for some paper and a pen, and started writing a letter of approval.

"Bruclear's proposed design is a variant of what's called a integral fast reactor. We've developed a process to reuse the waste produced by the plant immediately after it is retrieved, which will be powered like most industrial sites here through solar energy. Once everything is up to scale, it will be powered by excess energy from the reactor."

[Vendecati]

"Fascinating. Reprocessing has always been a tricky thing. Even in just regulatory stages. Hope it gets approved, that would be a major help in fast technology." Jackson finished his letter with P.S. this ought to be interesting—they've got on the fly reprocessing. Bet one of the labbies will have fun with that. I know you guys were talking about that with that glint in your eye.

"The great thing about being a state-affiliated company is that regulatory approval is always expedited. It should be approved in about a week."

"We've been fiddling around with our research reactor for a few years now. It used to belong to the RU, till we came. But they were good sports and helped us along."

[Vendecati]

"I think I might have heard about that from somewhere. Not sure where."

[Bruke]

"The Royal University is our premier university system. There are two campuses, the one here in Dub City and the one in the capital city, Brukeville. This campus specializes more in STEM research, while Brukeville tends to do better in the humanities. This is the best place in the country for scientific research. Their professors and grad students were a godsend in getting us up and running."

[Vendecati]

"Glad we could be a part of this good project, then."

[Bruke]

"Say Mr. Jackson, does your company have any projects that have medical applications? We've been trying to set up a nuclear medicine center at the RU Hospital."

[Vendecati]

"Not currently. We haven't got the reprocessing facilities for it. We do produce the medically useful fission products, but until we build a reprocessing facility, we can't do anything with them."

[Bruke]

The Director smiled. "Well, why don't you ship those products over here! We have a large reprocessing facility at the Research Center. Or we could ship some of Bruclear's reprocessing equipment over to you. Your choice."
