The St. Jimmy Class Library Ship which was recently commissioned by the Krimzon Guard for the promotion of culture, knowledge, and peace has been completed! After spending a great deal of time training the crew, collecting and shelving hundreds of thousands of books, and stocking the storage with a wide variety of foods, we are finally ready to set sail! But before we can do so we must know where we plan to sail to. Therefor we have established this application process so that nations may request a visit from the library vessel at their ports. To clarify, this ship will tour the globe, stopping at any and every port that allows it to dock(and which it is able to dock at), and will remain there for somewhere between one week and one month depending on the desires of that nation and the local port administrators. Our mission in doing this is to allow people of all nations the opportunity to experience a grand library which allows them access to vast amounts of knowledge in nearly every language and to learn more about themselves, their history, and their neighbors across the world.
We offer many activities which visitors may participate in! We not only maintain a library of nearly 300,000 books in many of the most common languages in the world including but not limited to English, Spanish, Mandarin, French, Russian, and many more, but we also possess a large collection of antiques and other rare articles which are housed in a museum showcasing various articles ranging from ancient swords, to mammoth skeletons, to works of art! We also allow nations and visitors to donate books, films, plants/crops and other articles to be added to our ship for others to use. Furthermore, the donation center acts as a kind of bookstore with the exception that all the books there are free! This will allow readers across the world to gain access to literature, films, music, and more which may otherwise be unavailable or hard to find. We also hold a large microfiche center which allows visitors to view old newspapers and other material in a compact fashion. The St.Jimmy Class Library Ship also features a number of greenhouses on top of the ship which not only allow people to see various plants and crops from around the world, but we also hold regular classes which teach visitors the fundamentals of gardening and/or farming! We also feature a theater for movies, plays, and other cultural events. And of course we haven't forgotten about the children. For the kids we feature a large soundproof children's library with several reading areas and regular story times! Lastly we wouldn't want our visitor's to get hungry and have to leave early, for this we feature three cafeterias open to the public, one which serves the promenade deck, and all of which feature a variety of world class cuisine, with something that should match any national or regional taste! For more information about the ship itself please read more below the application.
