In-Character Thread: Pandæmonium
Okay, so here's the gist of the situation. I'm going to be off NationStates for a good long while, and I figured that I would send myself off with a band. The storyline is that an unknown source has attacked New Azura's defensive network, triggering a massive nuclear attack against the country itself when our advanced defense network, SkyGuard has its fail-safe mechanisms disabled. The end result is that the country, its overseas territories, and its major military installations have been nigh obliterated by the massive attack.
New Azura's military has suffered grievous losses, and is only operating at 7% strength. Most major and moderate-sized urban population centers have been hit with multiple air burst strikes, with cities like Capodimonte taking upwards of twenty-five megatons each. Over six thousand megatons fall on New Azura during the two hour cataclysm, at which point almost 7 Billion Azurans die instantly.
Your RP here, to take place at your first convenience, is a free-for-all. The remaining valuables of New Azura, from money to land to military technology, is there for the taking. There are no rules, except to avoid sexual or racist dialogue. You may claim whatever, fight whoever to take or keep it, anything goes. I'll keep a check on the thread for a few days, and then I'll be off for good. If you want to participate here, or plot out details with others, do so in this thread.
