Welcome to Death Watch!

Name: Venn Vizsla
Age: 22
Short Bio (1 paragraph): Venn was the unofficial child of Pre Vizsla and Bo-Katan, where he was born in Death Watch. Because of the many enemies Death Watch had, they kept their child a secret. That would all change when Pre Vizsla is killed by Darth Maul, during the Civil War, Bo-Katan would send Venn away to be taken care of by one of her best soldier's and most loyal lieutenants (who I will now call Arcutus, for the sake of convenience) where they would escape off world. There, Arcutus would raise and take care of Venn, telling him of his heritage and Mandalorian Past, as well as teaching him the Mandalorian ways, quickly becoming an efficient fighter. At age 17, Arcutus would get ambushed and killed by pirates, and after a life of training for combat, Venn took revenge, hiring a small group of mercenaries and then taking out the Pirates who killed Arcutus, sparing no one.

Afterwards, Venn would hire himself out as a Bounty Hunter, leading a successful yet dangerous life, racking up quite the fortune in claimed bounties. Eventually, at age 20, Vizsla would set out to do what he'd always aimed for since he was younger: taking back Death Watch. Soon rumours started spreading about who Venn was and what he was aiming to do, and with that many former Nite Owls as well as other former Death Watch members rallied behind Venn, seeing him as the legitimate leader of Death Watch (Mandalorian Code of Honour, gotta love it). Eventually, Venn would find the remnants of Death Watch and challenge their current leader to a duel to see who took over Death Watch. Venn would kill him in single combat and claim his position as the new leader of Death Watch.

Venn knew that Death Watch would be no match at their current state, so decided to turn it into a mercenary group. The reformation would be successful, and Death Watch would see an influx of both wealth and members, and Venn would become a pretty known Bounty Hunter and mercenary throughout several systems. Eventually, 2 years after his taking of Death Watch (1 BBY), he would hear news from Mandalore, that his mother had attempted to lead a rebellion, but was eventually crushed. Surviving Nite Owl members who had fought with her during the battle would recover the Darksaber before the Empire could, and turned to Venn, swearing their allegiance and handing over the Darksaber. Venn would quickly become quite proficient in using the Dark blade, mostly because of his constant training in the past of using a sword, and would secure his places as Death Watch's leader.

Now at the head of a fairly powerful mercenary organisation, and with the current state of matters in the Galaxy, Venn wonders what action he will take....
Faction: Death Watch
Weapon: Darksaber, flamethrower, wrist blasters, twin blaster pistols, wrist cable blasters, Jetpack with anti-vehicle missile, Death Watch Portable Shield, Death Watch Armour (imagine also having this cape)
Rank (If Jedi put Master or Padawan): Leader of Death Watch/Alor

Faction Name: Death Watch
Leader: Venn Vizsla
Number of Members: *This list contains military assets, does not contain the crew of these ships*
2,000 Death Watch Troopers, 1,000 Death Watch Commandos, 500 Nite Owl Commandos, 20x Canderous Class Assult Tanks, 1x Modified and Upgraded Venator Class Star Destroyer, 2x Keldabe Class Battleships, 6x Crusader Class Corvettes, 84x Kom'rk-Class Fighters, 36x Fang Fighters, 64x StarViper Mk. IIs
Description:
-Anyone who wants to join Death Watch has to have a certain skill level, and that level is usually very high, this only is included for warrios though, positions such as helmsmen, engineers and etc are of the average quality. Which is why almost all Death Watch members are of a good quality, at the level of Stormtroopers at the very least. Many known mercenary and warrior cultures had joined Death Watch because of its high standards and warrior code, such as Iridonians, Echani and other Mandalorians. Most are human/near human, however, there is the occasional Wookie and Trandoshan, even the occasional rare Tusken.
-Death Watch has a strict moral code, calling for the warrior code of the Mandalorian Warriors, honour, bravery, duty, and fearlessness. All members must be willing to follow this code to the death. Death Watch is willing to work with most to advance their goals, however, they don't take on "dishonourable," mission, and are more reluctant to work with criminals. They follow the tenant of "Honourable Mercenaries,"
Backstory: In 60 BBY, the Mandalorian Civil War erupted between Mandalore's Warriors and the New Mandalorians. The war ended with the defeated warriors being exiled to the nearby moon of Concordia, where the New Mandalorians would begin a pacifist rule over Mandalore. Many of the warriors would die off, however, the remnants would join up in secret, forming Death Watch, led by the Governor of Concordia at the time, Pre Vizsla and Bo-Katan Kryze, the sister of the current leader of the New Mandalorians. In the early stages of the Clone Wars, Death Watch would reveal themselves along with the support of CIS, in an attempt to overthrow the True Mandalorians. There were several large bombings, missions of sabotage, and assassination attempts by the terrorist cell, however, they would not have the strength to overthrow the Satine's New Mandalorian Regime, and that situation would get even worse when Vizsla cut ties with the CIS.

Eventually, they would relocate, attempting to plan out a new way to try and overthrow Satine, and getting into further conflicts with not only the True Mandalorians but also the Jedi, leading to them often have to relocate. All this would change when Vizsla and Death Watch would find an escape pod, that contained the two Sith Darth Maul and Savage Opress. Eventually, they would ally with the Sith, and with Death Watch's resources and the Sith's skills would create a massive Crime Organisation named the "Shadow Collective," which was made up of the Hutt Cartel, Black Sun and Pike Syndicate. Using the Shadow Collective, they did an operation in which the criminal organisations would invade the New Mandalorian Capital of Sundari, showing the people how weak their pacifist government was, and then have Death Watch "come to the rescue," there for getting the support of the people of Mandalore.

The plan worked, the New Mandalorians overthrown, and Pre Vizsla betraying Maul. However, Maul would escape and kill Vizsla in single combat, claiming Death Watch as his own. Bo-Katan and her elite unit of Nite Owls would rebel and begin a civil war in Death Watch between those loyal to Maul and those who still followed the ideas of Vizsla. Those who stayed loyal to Maul would be organised into Mandalorian Supercommandos, however, they would later be beaten by the Republic during the Siege of Mandalore, in which the remnants either escaped or were captured. The remainder of Death Watch split ways: some became bounty hunters, some decided to join Bo-Katan, others simply retired, but the largest Death Watch remnant would retreat and hide on the seedy planet of Ankhural, where they would remain for many years.

All that would change in 3 BBY, when Venn Vizsla, unknown son of Pre Vizsla and Bo-Katan Kryze, would go to the planet with a small army and challenge the Alor (leader) of Death Watch in single combat. Venn would defeat and claim his place as Alor of Death Watch. However despite that achievement Death Watch had been reduced significantly, and though many were battle hardened warriors, they lacked the funds to really do anything. So Venn reformed Death Watch into "Honourable" Mercenaries, with only minimal objection to it. Soon, with its veteran followers, Death Watch would find itself to be an effective mercenary group, and soon be quite known for their proficiency. They would earn a reputation for being some of the best mercenaries around, being hired by many rich peoples and different organisations for their skills, even the Empire often hired them.

This influx of fame and wealth allowed Death Watch to begin purchasing top of the line equipment, as well as purchasing space vessels and vehicles. It also began created an influx of peoples wanting to join the mercenary group, however, Death Watch only allowed the best to join its ranks. Soon they had grown largely in numbers and had created a small fleet which they called home. In 1 BBY, the rebellion led by Bo-Katan on Mandalore failed and the former Death Watch lieutenant being killed in a final battle, many clans were destroyed as punishment by the Empire. Before that happened, many of Bo-Katan's former followers sought refuge by joining Death Watch, further growing the group's numbers. They also brought something invaluable, some of Bo-Katan's warriors were able to grab the Darksaber before the Empire had arrived, and had handed it over to Venn, further strengthening his power base and legitimacy. Now it's 1 ABY, and things had changed in the Galaxy, with the destruction of the First Death Star, Death Watch wonders what opportunities might arise.

Lower it to under 100, especially if you are a rebel factions

Is a full on magic faction ridiculous? Since that was accepted.

That's a fair point (though with the major deluge of apps we were getting back then, it's understandable that some things may have slipped through the cracks). As Co-ops, we can probably do more to help pre-evaluate the apps, to limit the probability of any ridiculous stuff getting accepted.

1) Jedi aren't allowed to marry, so if he ended up taking a wife and having a child you should probably have abit more of an explanation as to how and why he made that decision in violation of that tenet of the Jedi Code. (I would also suggest changing Mandalore to another planet, as your character driving the Imps off that world would conflict with both canon, and the bios of accepted Mandalorian PCs).
2) Kylo Ren used a vented (aka crossguard) lightsaber, not a double-bladed lightsaber so please clarify which weapon you are referring to.
3) Order 66 took place 20 years before the start of the RP, meaning at the age you listed your character would've only been 15 at that time, and therefore not old enough to have been a Jedi Master (and likely not even old enough to be a Knight). I suggest either changing Master to Padawan, or considerably increasing his age.

Star Destroyers have a crew of over 30,000 so there's no way you could command even one such vessel with only 99 people in your faction; at best, you could probably comprise a minimal skeleton crew to run a CR-90 Corvette. Your backstory is also less than one paragraph, so that will need to be expanded.

Under 100 ships.

I seriously doubt you could get that many together, especially with the style of creation you have going.

Also, we have the Deathwatch? Aruetyc Hu'tuune, those are. I suppose a True Mandalorian faction should be made by someone.

EDIT: God dammit, True Mandalorians are these guys, not these milk-sopping idiots.

The Battle of Terminus has begun, with an Imperial fleet engaging a PGF fleet above the battle.

Other than that, not sure.

Also, anyone interested in hiring Death Watch? For Mandalore!

I’d also like to ask when I can be added to the roster

The Battle of Terminus has begun, with an Imperial fleet engaging a PGF fleet above the battle.

Other than that, not sure.

Are you and Orostan waiting on me?

Also, anyone interested in hiring Death Watch? For Mandalore!

I’d also like to ask when I can be added to the roster

The PGF is messing around near Terminus, so now the Empire is spanking them. Or will be. Maybe.

Also, might I request that you kindly change your erroneous reference in your character's bio towards the True Mandalorians to the New Mandalorians?

Lastly, why would the Death Watch be...hiring themselves out? As far as I know, their whole ethos is Mandalorian Supremacy, bring back the old days of empire and Cassius Fett when Mandalorians did what they pleased, even if what they pleased was genocide.

Well it turns out in the new canon, what was left of Death Watch was found on Ankhural and Umbaran spies bartered for Death Watch's services.

Yeah, I was a bit put off when they were called True Mandalorians too, but it was the canon name, so alright, I’ll do that

Because Venn knew that Death Watch in it’s stage 2 years ago wasn’t strong enough to do anything, so what do you do when you have a small army of battle-hardened warriors? Hire them out as mercenaries! There was very small objection because at this point morale had been low from their various defeats, however they still follow the usual Mandalorian Warrior Code.

Of course by now Death Watch is pretty damn strong, however Venn and other Death Watch members have learned from their past, they aren’t immdeatly going to begin a Crusade, or declare their intentions to recreate another Mandalorian Empire, and with the Empire they know that without any real support, they’d be crushed. So they still have that Mandalorian Militarism, but they’re much smarter about it now.

But it provides plot holes that people can deliciously take advantage of and fill out for themselves
