War. War never changes.

The dawn of mankind is stained in blood: spilled in the name of religion, to survive, for simple psychotic rage, and in the year 2077 this voracious, intrinsic thirst for violence would consume millennia of civilization in one glorious burst of nuclear fire.
The end of the world, but humanity remained, stubborn, a weed in the garden of their own madness, and in the aftermath of total destruction begins another chapter in an era of bloodshed.
A new struggle. A new war.

In the ruins of the Four States Commonwealth rises Caesar's Legion and in the west the New California Republic.
Between them sits Hoover Dam and New Vegas as ruled by the eccentric Mr. House from his penthouse atop the Lucky 38.
A growing storm, and before its passing the sands of the Mojave will bleed.

This is not the story of the Bear nor the Bull. The story belongs to you.

The dregs of society.

The wastelander.

The nobody.

Denizens of a bleak landscape, unique in every way but with one shared aspect: enslavement.
You have been captured by the Legion and taken to the Stadium to fight and to die for the entertainment of the people.
A gladiator stripped of your freedom and destined to perish a Son of Flagstaff for those who enter the Stadium are never to leave.
Kill or be killed as war never changes...
and neither does human nature.

This RP can best be described as Fallout meets Gladiator. The year is 2277, shortly before the First Battle of Hoover Dam, and you have been captured by Caesar's Legion and taken to Flagstaff, Arizona, as slaves to fight as gladiators within the Stadium. Here is where you will live; where you are expected to die. The primary objective will be to escape the Stadium whilst surviving the many bloodsports you will be forced to partake in. This is NOT an open-world RP and there will be a plot to follow, and as such the methods of escape will be presented to you as the story progresses.

Traits, Skills, and Perks must be those found in Fallout or any of its sequels. Some exceptions apply.
• OP/Co-OP has final say. No exceptions.

• OP/Co-OP may deny any app with or without reason.

• No God-modding or Meta-gaming.

• Everything posted within the IC will be considered canon and there will be no retcons whatsoever
(the only exceptions being posts that make no sense or ninjas that alter the situation). Every action will have a consequence ranging from relatively minor to horrifyingly lethal depending on the situation.
Changing a post to avoid said consequences will be considered Meta-gaming.

• No one-liners. Paragraph minimum when posting. Use correct grammar to the best of your capabilities.
Divide long posts into appropriate paragraphs. No oddly coloured or obnoxious text. All posts should be legible and make sense. In general, make an effort and things will be acceptable.

• No arguing in the OOC.

• No controlling another Player Character or Major NPC unless given permission to do so.

• Multiple characters will be allowed with some limitations. If your original application is lacking then, no, you cannot have a second or third character. Additionally, being unable to keep all characters active will result in a culling. If I believe you to have too many characters then I will deny you additional applications.

• Be reasonably active should you apply. Alternatively, do not post with such frequency that others cannot become involved. If your character is preventing another or the story from progressing you will be given a three day grace period before being forceably moved along. If you disappear without giving notice your character(s) will be killed.

• Enjoy.
• Delete everything in parenthesis. Delete unused optional tabs.
• Picture is not required, however, deleting coding and appearance must be described in reasonable detail.
• Picture must be under 500x500 pixels.
• Super Mutants will be allowed in limited numbers. Such applications will be held to a higher expectation.
• No Synths. No exceptions.
• No characters currently affiliated with Caesar's Legion (former Legion is okay).
• Characters can have ties to the NCR, BOS, FoA, etc., however, you will be limited to lower ranks and will be average overall.

NAME: Horatio
SPECIES: Human
BIRTHPLACE: Flagstaff
GENDER: M
AGE: 23

OCCUPATION: Slave

APPEARANCE: 5’11, rough skin, callous hands. His body lined with the occasional scar from disciplinary action, his body well defined from his near-constant labour.

STRENGTHS: Unarmed (23), Melee (21), Sneak (21)
WEAKNESSES: Speech (9), Medicine (11), Science (11)
PERK: Stonewall
TRAIT: Bruiser (+2 to strength)

PERSONALITY: Humble, simple minded, gets very mad when people try and kill him. He is slow to speak his mind or even speak very much as his slave background has taught him to keep quiet. When spoken to this slave-turned-gladiator gets clammy and anxious. His speech is limited to a very simple vocabulary. He is very willing to learn and puts a great deal of unconditional trust on people and will follow them without much thought.

BIOGRAPHY: Born in Flagstaff to a slave, Horatio was destined to continue being a slave. Growing up he did menial tasks around his owner’s home until he was old enough to take on larger workloads where he was quickly sold off to do the Legion’s manual labour. Despite the rather poor provisions given to the slaves Horatio grew up to be remarkably strong and hardy, had he not been a slave he would of made a great legionnaire. He was given little in the way of education, and socialization was not a very large part of the slave’s life making him inept in both fields. From a young age he was taught to keep his head down and his eyes straightforward. This however did not keep him from noticing others did not. His mind was dull but his eyes were sharp.

He’d spent the better part of his life toiling away at his work happily, unseen by those with power until one day he’d accidentally struck down and killed a fellow slave in a construction accident. His owner was not pleased but witnessed his raw power and strength. Flagstaff was short on fighters so he sold the young man for a gracious sum of Aureus. Horatio does not know how long he’s been fighting for, as he cannot count but he knows he’s fought for some time now.

BIOGRAPHY:

Born into a farming life, over at , William was raised to learn about farming, handling crops and several survival skills. His parents, Jake Blake and Margaret Blake were humble people who had moved from Irvine in 2256 down south to Baja, with the promise of the flushing, green and fertile land down on what used to be Mexico. This was not the case, William and his family experienced much hardships on the trip down south, with William's brother Michael dying from a radscorpion bite, and his sister Regina contracting cholera. William, fourteen and the oldest of the children was now due to help his pa in protecting the family and settling the town of Rattletail alongside what remained of the settlers. Jake was elected as the town's mayor and alongside William and the other men built a well and several crop fields. The town was nothing but a small settlement with Jake serving as mayor and sherrif and with constant fears of raiders or attacks by wild animals of the area, especially the rattle snakes that had grown to massive proportions, hence the name of the town.

William was taught by his dad in the handling of crops, hunting, and in fighting. Jake constantly reminded William that when he was no longer with them, William would have to attend to the farm and the town. William's mother and sister also tended to the crops and the town, mostly when William or Jake were out hunting molerats or wolves. Things were decent for a few years, with crops growing and traders from down south arriving. No new settlers dared to take the trip or to join the town, it was too dangerous, too barren, but the land was good and the water plentiful. This went sour when in 2260, raiders began to attack the town, killing one settler and attempting to rape Regina, William was able to kill two and the rest being fend off by the settlers. The attacks didn't stop, but every time the town managed to fend them off, the raiders were clearly interested in the well and the people of Rattletail were determined to defend it. For a while a short armistice was reach as Jake went to talk directly with the leader of the raiders, a man of a scary attire and expression, with a skull adorning his shoulder as William remembers it. Jake tried to reach an agreement of trading, but the raider was not about that. It was all a distraction as raiders sneaked into the town and burned the crops they could find. William was the first to pick up his gun and kill one, the raiders managed to kill 2 more settlers and Jake was wounded in the ensuing firefight at the negotiation point. The conflict was ended when Jake, William and other settlers ambushed the remaining raiders and killed them all. This however made Jake and the town increasingly paranoid of any strangers or newcomers.

Yet again another raiding tribe arrived to try and take the well, Jake not wanting to take risks was the first to fire at the supposed "Trading Caravan" which he suspected of being a trap. A long battle ensued, with the citizens of Rattletail killing over 20 of the raiders. Jake, with much fear in his mind sent a messenger up north to request NCR help. The messenger went off, it took him a month to arrive to the nearest NCR outpost. By the time the NCR rangers arrived, the raiders were dead. The leader of the rangers, a man known as Hanlon after inspecting the bodies and scouting the area warned of a bigger raider army numbering of over 100, it was hard but with William's and Margaret's advice Jake reluctantly agreed to move the town back to NCR territory. Led by Hanlon and the rangers, the settlers arrived to Anza-Borrego, Jake decided to settle there as the land was better and there was a river nearby. The town of Anza Borrego was born and Hanlon personally made sure an NCR garrison was deployed to protect the town. William was excited for this better life as new settlers arrived from both south and north, things were difficult at first, but eventually the town became a safe haven for farming and cattling. Jake and William built a farm and ranch, growing corn and raising bighorners and brahmin. The settlement grew and grew into a town and William and Regina worked with their parents until their deaths in 2268. Regina got married to a senator and settled down north. William for his part, he inherited the farm, he alongside his 5 employees managed the farm well and crops were sold as well as bighorners. Life was well for William, he had grown into a steadfast, strong man, although quiet and lonely for a house of two stories.

In 2271 William took a trip to the Hub for some parts to repair the tractors at the farm, when he meet the woman who would become his wife, Sarah Holloway, quickly both fell in love, Sarah being the savvy and elegant lady and William the strong dependable man. Both were made for each other, though her father, a rich man who owned a scrap company didn't approve William and Sarah got married shortly in the same year and Sarah happily settled with William down at Anza Borrego. Both lived happily, having a child in 2272 and managing the farm together. Things were well for a while, until Kimball was elected. Drafting notices began to flood mailboxes, with the NCR armed forces being short on manpower and facing much hostility at the Mojave wasteland William was drafted into the army in 2274. Much to Sarah's dismay, William departed to his assigned base and was issued a rifle, uniform and trained to become a soldier. However, despite lacking much academic smarts William fitted well into army life. Being an obedient soldier and dependable when given orders William was quickly promoted to Staff sergeant after defending a caravan single handily from raiders on its way to Nipton, alongside several other achievements in the field. He was deployed in Camp McCarran in charge of recruits, training them and killing fiends on a daily basis. He never sat a foot into the Strip, and never looked at a women with lust, being deeply devoted to his wife and children, sending them letter and his wife sending him as well. He saw deployment in Trading outpost 188, Boulder city, and Hoover Damn but he never went into the Strip.

He was eventually deployed at Nelson, where a what was thought to be a raiding tribe began to attack, this raiding tribe was different though, they used strange armor and tactics not known to William of raiders to use. He led a squad in defending the town regardless, killing several of the attackers but every attack grew in ferocity. William later came to know this tribe as the Legion, Caesar's Legion to be exact. To his men the idea of such force was ridiculous and they would be easy to deal with, William was not sure but he would fight regardless, with the famous Hoover Damn so close and his efforts being in a goal as to eventually be discharged and go back to his family William remained at Nelson until the day came where luck was not on his favor. Doing a usual patrol alongside Highway 95, they came like serpents, men with spears, machetes, rifles, out from nowhere killed several of the troopers and caravaners. William was among the ones shocked by a grenade and was spared a slice to the throat as he was stripped from his equipment and weapons and taken alongside other prisoners to the other side of the Colorado river by these, "Legionaries," he never meet this "Caesar" was he sure heard his name spouted a lot. Constantly pushed around, beaten at times and called "NCR scum" he was translated far from Nevada into the Four States Commonwealth, where Caesar's Domains had taken a very apparent foothold as there were no raiders to be found, towns and cities were safe though by an iron fist, and slavery and sexism ran rampant. William couldn't believe it, strapped with a muzzle on his face, his arms tied backwards and labelled with an "NCR scum" on the back of his neck he was dragged across into what was known as Flagstaff, Arizona. This Legion hellhole was pretty much the same as the others, William was taken into a stadium, not knowing what his fate laid or if he would ever see his wife and kid again he could only pray.

Didn't the mods rule against tagging due to the existence of the "Bookmark topic" button?
-~ The Sovereign City-State of St. Michael ~-

Basically an autocratic Russian city-state on an island in the Northern Pacific Ocean, between Alaska and Eastern Siberia. NSStats are void.
Benevolent dictator, very friendly, doesn't hold people's political opinions against them, gives out his respect like it's candy. If you don't read everything he says in a thick Russian accent, you're reading it wrong.

NAME: David Kowalski
SPECIES: Human
BIRTHPLACE: Drumheller, Alberta
GENDER: Male
AGE: 43

OCCUPATION: Courier

APPEARANCE: Roughly 6'10, and weighing almost 257 pounds, David is a rather meaty and muscular man, with calloused and rather stone like hands, and a number of scars across his body.

STRENGTHS: Melee Weapons (22), Medicine (12), Unarmed (23)
WEAKNESSES: Energy Weapons (6), Speech (1), Explosives (6)
PERK: Piercing Strike

P: 5 (+1)
E: 11 (+1)
C: 2 (+1)
I: 5 (+1)
A: 11 (+1)
L: 2 (+1)

BIOGRAPHY: Born into a Canadian family dating far back to before the war, David was always a large kid. Some would say it's a gift from God, others a simple genetic mutation as a result of nuclear fallout. As many would later attest, the latter would be more true. Born in a far off homestead near the wasteland desert of the western Alberta, David had a wanderlust that could not be satiated. On his sixteenth birthday, he said goodbye to his family, and became a wandering gun.

This gun for hire life didn't last all too long. As eventually David became more of a high risk courier than anything. Eventually snaking himself further and further south, he reached the outskirts of Salt lake City. Taking one job for a group of Mormons to a tribe on the outskirts of Legion territory. David figured it wouldn't be too high risk, and it really wasn't. Eventually the man became infatuated with one of the women of the tribe, soon after becoming officially wed by the chieftain, and then having a child.

His wife was in her third trimester when the Legion finally raided the camp. In their usual fashion they killed all the men, all the pregnant women, and started to integrate the bloodline into that of the Legion. David was spared for but a single reason: He wasn't a tribal.

The sparing grace of stating he was a courier was what saved him. Though it eventually ended with him in the stockades of Flagstaff, awaiting death via combat, or by execution. One hell of a surprise awaiting the Legion gamemasters who had the massive man ready to fight.

Considering that we won't be using Action Points, and to balance out the Stonewall Trait, I ask that you subtract 2 from Agility. Change that, and ACCEPTED. I also expect you to be rather dense considering the low Intelligence.

Already discussed the changes. ACCEPTED.

Gets the job done. ACCEPTED. Trigger Discipline, for RP purposes, will give you a penalty for quickly firing your weapon (or using automatic weapons). This probably won't be an issue for much of the RP though.

PERSONALITY:
Lyn is a psychopath with severe mental instabilities. Neurotic, hyperactive if not manic, and typically resorts to violence as a general response to any and all problems. Is friendly nonetheless in her own twisted sort of way. Twitchy. In a state of constant motion and cannot sit still for longer than ten seconds (a personal record). Suffering from onset schizophrenia. Has no concept of "I" and irritatingly refers to herself in the 3rd person.
OTHER:
Is dying from cancer (radiation exposure).

BIOGRAPHY:
Lyn was born in the year 2259 in an unidentified location somewhere west of Dog Town in the Colorado Wasteland. The daughter of a bandit chief, the girl had an unconventional childhood to say the least and was oftentimes exposed to violence, debauchery, and wanton destruction. Unsurprisingly, Lyn grew to be as savage as the raiders she called family, yet, despite her obvious sociopathy and mental instability, the girl was quite intelligent. She was taught to read by her father and excelled in various technical skills, such as repairing simple machines or firearms, and was confusingly persuasive in spite of her manic way of speaking (unknown to be deliberate or not). By the time Lyn was an adolescent she was regularly taking part in various raids, crimes, and misdeeds and was popular amongst her fellow bandits.

At the age of 16, approximately thirteen months before her capture by the Legion, Lyn and another bandit were exposed to high levels of radiation while exploring an old mining site (the nearby area had previously been hit by a stray nuclear missile during the Great War). Lyn survived whereas her fellow bandit succumbed to acute radiation poisoning, however, in the months that followed the girl would develop a malignant cancer affecting her lungs and bone marrow (Leukemia).

During this time Caesar's Legion was aggressively expanding east into Colorado, claiming Dog Town and much of the territory between there and Utah/New Mexico. With much of the state occupied, the Legion would systematically absorb whatever tribes/settlements they encountered while outright eliminated undesirables. Raiders especially were shown little mercy. The bandits would harass the Legion for several weeks before, ultimately, being cornered and annihilated, those not killed being taken as slaves. Lyn survived but was deemed unfit due to her psychotic aggressiveness, and would have been killed had the Decanus not deemed her suitable for the Stadium. The girl was taken to Flagstaff and, against all odds, has survived for over three months now.

I have a quite unusual character application to give; rather than a normal combat or support character, like a soldier or a doctor or a scientist, I wanted to go with something more unique, very different from most other characters. I know it might be considered a bit too meta, but I think this is an interesting character concept; I hope you do too.

NAME: Apollo, also known as the Oracle of Graham.

SPECIES: Ghoul (A non-feral glowing one, specifically, similar to Jason Bright).

BIRTHPLACE: Apollo was born in an insignificant settlement in the countryside of Arizona.

GENDER: Male.

AGE: Ninety seven years old.

OCCUPATION: He is an oracle, someone who foretells the future and gives prophecies, and a religious figure.

APPEARANCE: Apollo looks quite distinct from a regular ghoul, with a brightly glowing green body covered with religious markings. Under normal circumstances, he would wear a set of dark purple robes. He is a bit under six feet tall and has a rather slim, bony-looking figure.

STRENGTHS: He is proficient in speech, science, and unarmed combat.

WEAKNESSES: He is inept at guns, energy weapons, and repair.

PERK: Atomic! (Fitting for a ghoul: In radiated areas, +25% move and attack speed, +2 DT, +2 ST. With excess rad level, AP regen scales from 1.1 times to 1.5 times normal.)

PERSONALITY: Apollo is a prophetic, religious, mysterious and mystical ghoul, seemingly detached from the world, who tends to speak through vague and ominous premonitions of the future. While not exactly especially charismatic, he is reasonably friendly and will help most people who request it from him, getting along with other people quite well, though he is extraordinarily hostile towards those who hate ghouls.

OTHER: He is well known throughout Arizona for being able to accurately predict the future through mysterious means.

S: 5
P: 4
E: 6
C: 3
I: 9
A: 4
L: 9

BIOGRAPHY: Apollo was born in a somewhat small, secluded, and now-abandoned settlement of wastelanders near the mountain known as Mount Graham. Its inhabitants, and his parents, were no ordinary survivors; the little settlement Apollo was born in was home to a cult of radiation-worshipers who idolized ghouls, believing the Great War was a means of purifying humanity and that ghoulification was a path to transcendence. Most of its members were humans, though about a quarter were ghouls, having either joined the cult as a ghoul or having become a ghoul during one of the cult's rituals (the cult having a religious practice of having its members expose themselves to radiation in an attempt to achieve ghoulification). Apollo was raised from birth to believe in the religious doctrines of the cult, that ghouls were superior to humans, atomic radiation and the subsequent path to ghoulification being a divinely-given means of becoming a sort of higher being and achieving enlightenment. The young Apollo took well to the cult's teachings, and dedicated his childhood to religious pursuits, studying the various books and other religious sources the cult had, and spent most of his time learning from the cult's priests. He learned everything there was to be learned about ghouls, the path to ghoulification, and the religious teachings the cult had, memorizing almost every detail about them, proving himself quite talented at religious studies.

By the time Apollo came of age and became recognized as an adult, he had accrued a masterful level of knowledge and understanding of both ghouls and his cult's teachings and rituals. Immediately after his coming of age, he was officially invested as a priest of the cult and, shortly afterwards, left the town and embarked on a religious pilgrimage. There was a nuclear test site several miles away from the settlement, a very very heavily irradiated location, and especially dedicated cult members would often visit the site and let themselves be exposed to the extreme radiation as part of a ritual to attempt to achieve ghoulification. Very few survived the journey; the vast majority of those who attempted the ritual died of radiation poisoning, and most of those who didn't die from the radiation were transformed into feral ghouls and never heard from again. Being a dedicated believer in the divine supremacy of ghouls, Apollo was determined to make the pilgrimage and attempt the ghoulification ritual in spite of the immense risks. After a dangerous journey, spending several days trekking through the raider-infested countryside of Arizona, he arrived at the test site and willfully exposed himself to the rads in hopes of becoming a ghoul.

Whether by blind luck or divine intervention, Apollo not only achieved what most of his fellow cultists were unable to achieve, which was ghoulification, but managed to ascend beyond even that. Apollo managed to intake a high enough dose of radiation to transform him not only into a ghoul, but into a rarely-seen non-feral glowing-one ghoul, a very uncommon sight in the wasteland. His luck in achieving such a feat was truly remarkable; becoming a post-war ghoul at all was rare, let alone becoming a glowing one without turning feral. During his transformation, as he was exposed to the intense radiation, Apollo felt something awaken inside his mind; a vision appeared to him, where he saw his hometown under attack, besieged by raiders. Feeling as though he had achieved true enlightenment during his ghoulification, Apollo hurried back to the settlement, growing accustomed to his new form as he did. Upon safely arriving back home, Apollo was bombarded with praise and respect from the cult for having achieved such a miraculous transformation, being hailed as a transcendent holy man. Apollo told his fellow cultists about the vision he experienced during the ritual, warning them of eminent danger, and, filled with respect for him after his successful ghoulification, they listened and heeded his warning. The town hastily erected fortifications and prepared its defenses for the prophesied attack, and, shortly afterwards, the vision came to fruition; a nearby raider gang launched an attack on the cult, defeated by the well-prepared cultists.

Apollo was championed as a prophet and a seer by his fellow cultists for his successful prediction, and he was made the spiritual leader for the cult. Apollo would make regular pilgrimages back to the nuclear test site, finding that the intense radiation induced a sort of trance-like state in him and allowed him to receive powerful visions of the future. Visions would occasionally come to him anytime, though he most consistently received them when exposed to radiation, with higher concentrations of radiation producing more consistent and more powerful visions. He would pass along these visions to those around him, giving prophesies of the future, and they almost always came to pass in some way or another. Word about the prophetic ghoul eventually began to spread throughout Arizona, and people began coming to Apollo to seek vision into the future. He started to garner a reputation reaching far across the state, becoming famous and well-known for his accurate predictions of the future. He became known as the Oracle of Graham, after the fact that he gave his prophesies at the base of Mount Graham. This was all many years before the rise of Caesar's Legion, something which would be predicted by the ghoul long before Caesar's rise to power.

"From western bones shall rise a mighty bull, the harbinger of a great empire." These were the prophetic words of Apollo, decades before Caesar's Legion was ever created. A great many years later, Edward Sallow, a man born in California near the city known as the Boneyard, came to the east and assumed leadership over a tribe known as the Blackfoot tribe, and began violently subjugating the other tribes of Arizona, building the foundations of a mighty empire. At first, this had little impact upon the renowned Oracle; the early Caesar had far more important concerns than a small cult and its prophet. Apollo and his fellow cultists lived in a quite remote location, and held few resources; Caesar had no reason for interaction with them, at least for a time. Months later, after Caesar's territories had been greatly expanded and his power base had grown significantly, the Legion decided it was time for the cult, one of the few groups in Arizona still independent from them, to be either forcibly integrated into the Legion or to be destroyed. A detachment of soldiers came to the settlement and demanded the cult's submission; knowing they wouldn't be able to defeat the Legion, they chose to willingly be subjugated into Caesar's empire. Most of the cult was reduced to slaves, the rest integrated as soldiers, as happened to most other groups in Arizona.

Apollo himself, a famous figure in Arizona, was taken to Caesar's camp where the mighty conqueror forced him to serve as his personal Oracle. His services were appreciated by Caesar for a time, as Apollo's insights into the future were a useful tool. Eventually, Apollo managed to offend Caesar after predicting a great defeat approaching for the Legion; the arrogant Caesar was angered by Apollo anticipating the failure of his mighty army, and reduced the ghoul to a slave, where he would be forced to fight in the arena.

RP EXAMPLE: I have no recent examples to give, I'm afraid; it's been a very long time since I last joined a Fallout RP (or, really, any RP at all for that matter).

I will look over character apps later. Have also been thinking on a better way to do Strengths and Weaknesses so may experiment with tweaking the application. Nothing major but it may come across better.

NAME: Amelia Flagg
SPECIES: Human
BIRTHPLACE: New Canaan
GENDER: Female
AGE: 33

OCCUPATION: Desert Ranger (Pre-Unification)

APPEARANCE: Roughly 5'10 and nearing 187 pounds, Amelia is not your average wasteland gal. A number of scars and rather professional tattoos cross her body as a paramount to her experience, both as a Ranger and as a Gladiator.

STRENGTHS: Guns, Repair, Explosives
WEAKNESSES: Speech, Barter, Lockpicking
PERK: No Weaknesses
TRAIT: Fast Metabolism

PERSONALITY: Amelia is described by many as a bit abrasive. She tends to have oversights about other's understandings of certain concepts and mechanics. This is not due to narcissism or a superiority complex, but rather a habitual state after spending so much time around those with a lackluster education or scientific understanding. Although she does have sadomasochistic tendencies, they don't ride in the forefront of her mind. Also has a severe empathetic disconnect to the point of near sociopathy.
OTHER: Was born with a naturally pink hair color. Likely a mutation.

S: 8
P: 5 (+3)
E: 9
C: 5 (+2)
I: 10
A: 7
L: 5 (+4)

BIOGRAPHY: Amelia Flagg was born near Ogden, Utah, an area that was known as New Canaan to a large amount of people. From an early age, Amelia was a rather bright cookie. Instead of doing the usual thing most of peers would do and found salvation in the good book, she kept such a thing in the back of her mind, her curiosity of the world around her not satiated by it's contents. She became a rather voracious reader of everything she could, from fictional materials to that of old textbooks, old and mildewy as they were. Most of her funds went to that of traders and their information, either by word of mouth or that of texts and scrolls.

Eventually, she gained a sense of wanderlust, and when a squad of Desert Rangers came to town. Amelia found her opening. With less than a few hours to say goodbye to everyone she knew and loved, she eventually found her way. A member of one of the few noble fighting forces left in post-apocalyptic America, Amelia travelled quite a distance. As the avid learned she was, she took to every lesson and fact given to her like a sponge. Eventually she came to lead her own team, mere days before the Ranger Unification Treaty was signed, this time deep through Legion territory to scout for a rumored slave camp.

It was here they blundered. No one expected a band of Praetorians and the Malpais Legate himself to be present. And after being overwhelmed, and most killed, Amelia was saving one bullet for herself, knowing of what the Legion did to women in their spare time, and as a member of the originzation that had hastled the Legion since their incarnation, she was expecting crucifixion at the end of her path.

But the woman and the Malpais Legate clicked. For Amelia, she recognized the SLCPD vest the man wore, and for the Legate, he recognized the hair of the woman.

For whatever reason, Graham didn't have Flagg lashed to a cross, or interred as a slave. Instead, a mild mercy, she was to fight in the Colosseum in Flagstaff. And it is here she has remained for nearly 7 years, biding her time, waiting, preparing.

Can't wait for the IC. This all reminds me of The Pit and The Frontier.

I'm okay with most of the application, however, I do feel that the Almost Perfect Perk is a bit unfair, thus I'm nixing it for the sake of balance. Replace it with something else (and rework the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. if needed) and it should be good.

While I'm a bit dubious the application is well-written and it's canon that psychics exist in the wasteland. ACCEPTED on the condition that his precognition comes with suitable downsides.

Have added an alternate application to the OP. The primary difference is the inclusion of tables and a full Skill List. This version is optional and by no means required for those who've already created an application.

Certainly. Do you have any ideas for a good weakness, by chance? Mama Murphy's chem addiction and the Forecaster's psychic nullifier would be unsuitable drawbacks, seeing as ghouls are chem resistant and Legion slaves (and, really, most people associated with the Legion, for that matter) probably wouldn't be allowed to have any kind of technological devices. Perhaps he could be hunted by the Brotherhood of Steel, or the Enclave, or some other group which would have a technological interest in capturing and experimenting on someone with psychic powers? Or, perhaps he could suffer some kind of physical weakness when outside of radiation? Or did you have something else in mind?

The radiation weakness could be one (you're unlikely to find any radioactive spots in the Stadium). Additionally, his "prophecies" could be vague and hard to understand, or else require enough effort/energy to make it more-or-less impossible to predict the future in abundance or in quick succession.

Maybe he suffers from constant hallucinations after his premonitions. Or schizophrenia.

Now that you mention it, Schizophrenia would actually be a quite fitting weakness, I imagine. Ghouls are, I believe, more likely to develop mental conditions than humans are (as a result of radiation effecting the brain), and the symptoms of Schizophrenia (paranoia, hallucinations, inability to distinguish what is and is not real, etcetera) seem like that would go well with a fortune-teller type character. Schizophrenia, combined with a bit of a strength/endurance debuff outside radioactive areas, should be sufficient to balance his powers, and should be interesting for me to write.

And don't worry, Will shall protect the little guy. As long as he doesn't tell him he was in the Legion that is :p
